Priyanka for coordinating as well as getting an update of we reached home safe . Theja from housekeeping who helped me dry my phone that was wet so tha it would work. Really grateful for that. Saibu for the wonderful bed decor and Prasanna and Chandu for preparing our room and making it comfortable. Also, Shraddha from Granary restaurant who assisted my daughter as well as took our orders well. To the entire team who made us feel hospitable. It’s our third time and we are always glad it feels like home. Thank you once again. Food can be better. Needs to be a lot more clean, less masala and cooked well. Otherwise overall it’s good.
Aditya Dixit (10/5): It's a 10/10 experience ! - Excellent property with lush forest greenery and serene views. Really hard working, meticulous staff that took care of our every need despite the property being fairly high on occupancy during our stay period. Our front office point of contact Saraswathi was absolutely on top, helping us with restaurant, spa bookings in super timely manner. Spa (Vaidyashala) is a must try - very relaxing Ayurvedic experience. A shoutout to the housekeeping staff too which was prompt and personalized every step of the way. Quality of food was notch above rest too, especially Indian cuisines (North & South Indian both). Rooms are really spacious, clean, very heritage design and still fully equipped with all amenities. Our 5yo toddler had a lot of fun in the pool. French press coffee in the room is to die for. Experiences (Bird watching, cultural themes) are all very nicely curated, blending the nature with the local culture of Kodagu. A truly 10/10 experience ! Only isolated experience that could have been better - In one of our 3 dinners, which was at Peppercorn (the mediterranean / continental / north Indian themed restaurant), service times were quite slow - staff could have been better allocated here given the volume of table bookings for dinner.

Hari (10/5): Exceptional stay - We had a lovely stay at Evolve Back, Coorg. The property is beautiful, calm, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and the food was delicious. Special mention to Neetu and Ebrahim for their excellent service and warm hospitality. They made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to return. More indoor activities or evening entertainment options would be a nice addition.

Food (breakfast & dinner buffet included in our package) was excellent. They even treated us to a special lake side candlelight dinner. Overall the experience was very nice. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. A special thanks to Bhavya for showing us around and making us feel comfortable, and to Gopal for the plantation walk, which was very informative and enjoyable. The food provided in the restaurants was also very good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly appreciated the service and hospitality. The living room and bathroom had a strong unpleasant odor not much privacy for the pool in our villa

Surrounded by trees, birds, and countless other living beings, it offers an experience where you feel connected to nature in the most intimate way. The staff are warm, friendly, and truly exceptional hosts. They consistently prioritise your comfort and overall experience. The housekeeping team keeps the rooms impeccably clean, maintaining them to the highest standard every day. We were guided to thoughtful experiences such as spa sessions, a plantation drive and lovely souvenirs which made the trip feel like one big memorable holiday. We had an excellent and unforgettable stay.

Amitha (3/5): This resort is Not for families it’s specifically for honeymoon couples. - Nothing special about this resort. Other resorts we visited are much more welcoming and friendly. Families be away. This resort gives important only to honeymooners not families with kids. It was our anniversary booked the resort to celebrate. It was too late for us to know that this resort doesn’t allow by the lake dinner in their peppercorn restaurant to couples with a kid. This is exclusively for only honeymoon couples.After Paying thick money , they will not provide a small cake to celebrate the serai chikki mangalore was better than this resort. Staff we got Bhavya her attitude is like a resort owner.

Lots of interesting activities such as coffee tasting, nature walks and a nearby elephant sanctuary where we fed and helped wash the elephants. Extremely helpful staff, the Peppercorn Restaurant by the lake and the best coffee. The swimming pools were both too warm and not really shaped for swimming. Very limited gym, with no weights.

Didn’t feel like a 5 star facility, the food was ok and not as well made / presented specially at the Granary restaurant, almost had a 2-3 star hotel vibe at best. In room dining also, the food was sent in shabby boxes dinged up, felt like some government guest house. Too expensive for the kind of experience. Their Gym is also quite poorly maintained with minimal equipment, the children play area for toddlers had old and spoilt furniture. The lounge chairs in our room were full of black mouldy stuff all over it and one would be scared to even touch it. The lotus/Lilly pond in the room was absolutely filthy with lots of dead leaves and dirt and 0 flowers! The furniture in the room, specially the bed, was quite old and wobbly with a very poorly constructed headboard.

Paramkusam (7/5): Good - The place was great, we got the heritage pool villa, it was nice, until we left the rooms. The dining spots are crowded, and the food is average. If you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway, this is not the place unless you decide to stay in your villa (which is also great cos there's a private pool). It seems to be more of a family place otherwise cos there were wayyyyyy too many noisy children. Otherwise all good, Jaseela was the one who helped us with everything at the property and she was just amazing. The kids around the public areas of the property, too noisy.
