- Patricia (4/5): - No breakfast Rugs could have been cleaner. Needs to be renovated
- Amanda (5/5): Very clean except for shower - Mostly clean and friendly. The entire room was very clean except for the shower. Shower was not cleaned from the previous person staying there. Hair, dirt, and razor cap found in the shower. We had already left and came back so we didn’t want to bug the staff. Next time ill be checking all of the room before leaving, after checking in.
- Guest (8/5): -
- James (2/5): Horrible and never again - Nothing Nothing breakfast or even coffee available only stayed one night, didn’t feel safe!
- Taylor (2/5): -
- Callie (5/5): - Tv didn’t work initially. Asked for help getting it to work. Was told we would have to wait over a hour because her husband was at a kids sporting event. Owner annoyed when we asked to change rooms. Lights don’t work at first, didn’t realize they were all unplugged. Could not have light and microwave plugged in at the same time.
Ultimately everything was fixed but did impact the stay. Also charged more than I think the room was worth. Would look elsewhere in the future.

- Alexander (9/5): Comfortable stay great for value - Kind staff! Only stayed for one night and had no issues. Outdated bathroom. No inconveniences though
- Jeremy (10/5): Comfortable - Jacuzzi in room Pool want open
- Guest (8/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): Very short (checked-in late, checked-out next day, relatively early), but very satisfied- perfect for our needs. - Clean and comfortable room; very friendly staff; well worth the budget-friendly price Nothing comes to mind
- Gearing (2/5): Very poor - I like the bed that was it I had no television had no have no washcloths or towels how did that experience was terrible also I paid $130 for a room that had no television no washcloths and no tiles and I think this is very unfair I didn't like the fact that there was no television I didn't like the fact that there was no washcloths and towels I didn't like the fact that I had to pay $130 for a room that had no television I think this is wrong and I know my complaints not going to do anything that is a lot of things I'm becoming upset with with booking.com not just the room
- Gibbs (5/5): Thank you but never again. - Nice room set up. It was my anniversary, so I was able to decorate the room and make it romantic. Jacuzzi was a plus. The room smelled really bad. I had to buy cleaning supplies and room spray. The bed was not as comfortable as assumed through the picture. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and the employee at the front window, had no idea how to help me. The disco ball made way to much noise, thought it was gonna explode. The drink machines were outdated and out of order
- Francisco (8/5): Very good -
- Aura (5/5): Passable -
- Shannen (7/5): Good - The room was clean and had everything I expected. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There were cigarette burns in the blanket in a no smoking room and I was concerned I would get charged. The thermostat for heat was turned off but the heater was still producing heat and it was too warm.
- Radchuk (9/5): Superb -
- Cabrera (8/5): Very good -
- Robles (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was fine. Not enough towels. Bed covers seemed to be small for bed.
- Morales (7/5): Good - The place was clean. I stayed for 2 days and got room service. And I was leaving my guest slip and fall on black ice hit her head and person on front desk acr as we were lying and didn't even offer any help or showed any sense of worrying..To me the place is lacking customer service experience.
- Theresa (10/5): Exceptional - Hot tubs are great will definitely go back
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- Miriam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jay (3/5): Poor -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Oscar (8/5): Easy in n out for one night stay . - Cleanliness friendly staff. The beds were ok, a little too firm for me,the pillows were extremely firm.
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - clerk was awesome!! he was really kind, compassionate and understanding. He helped me make my disabled son comfortable by having us stay in a room away from others. There is nothing I can think of!
- Kelly (10/5): relaxing just what i needed - clean, friendly, close to everything
- Larry (7/5): Good -
- Antony (5/5): Okay - Nothing was available in area and it saved me. Guy at front desk was great. No coffee, shampoo sachets impossible to open and felt dated. Price was 2 times more than should be.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - rooms were very clean, and they offerered coffee at checkout. was very convenient to the event we were attending
- Rivera (10/5): Exceptional -
- Halpin (1/5): Not worth the money - We left 3 hours after arriving. The room faced a busy road, traffic was loud, we had to ask for additional towels and were told to wait until the following morning (when we were checking out?) to get fresh towels? There was no restaurant or bar, and 3 cars in the parking lot. Should have known it was going to be a dive. Everything. Location was terrible, looked crappy from outside, only 3 other patrons should have queued us in on it being a less than what we wanted. I can't believe I spent over $300 for 3 hours at this place.
- Evelyn (6/5): Regular - To small room for the price Location
- La (5/5): Passable -
- Joanne (3/5): Poor -
- Lachance (10/5): Exceptional - Everythuing
- Jones (7/5): Good -
- aaronaW6922OB (10/5): Excellent Value, Great Management & Staff - This motel is managed by a very kind and cooperative couple who keep the place clean, safe, and workable for any peaceful guests. My husband and I did the maximum stay allowed by law and will be going back in a week. During our stay, we were treated consistently with respect and genuine care from front desk staff and housekeeping alike. The rates are way fair, and the rules are set such that any disturbances are kept at a minimum and handled promptly to maintain a rather pleasant and hospitable environment.
The outer halls are heated which is great for the winter. We can hardly find enough good things to say about the Red Carpet Inn and are thankful to the friendly couple at the front who took care of us at their motel better than most landlords do in upscale properties. We certainly do not intend to be hotel hopping for much longer, but as long as we are, my husband and I feel lucky to have found a temporary place to call home in the Red Carpet Inn.
We look forward to returning and would recommend this spot to anyone booking from as little as one night to as long as 28 days (per anti-squatting laws). Kudos 10/10 — you guys are doing a really good job and we appreciate the hospitality.
I originally wrote this review at the end of the year last year and it never was posted—oops—but all the same still applies. We have done one further stay since then and are going to be returning this week for another long-term stay if possible. Never an issue.
- Michael (1/5): Bad - I liked nothing about this stay. The woman at the front desk was condescending throughout my interaction with her. Very unprofessional. Even when I left early, regardless of paying for a fu night, she was still rude. I will never, ever book there again.
- Tanequa (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (7/5): Good - It had a confy bed
- Patricia (7/5): Good -
- Md (7/5): Good -
- Lozada (8/5): Very good -
- Cesar (7/5): so so - again the attendant was great, no complaints with him - The Employee was excellent, he did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. The room overall was OK and clean, however the air conditioner was very noisy, I had to shut it off so we could sleep therefore it was uncomfortable since it was a hot night. read above
- Hernandez (10/5): Happiness is - Everything they even new my name and has everything prepared super nice the attention. The room super super clean. Aic conditioner new. Refrigerator new. Bathroom super clean. Everything I am going back for the Jacuzzi one
- Katherine (6/5): Jacuzzi tub was fun but this place is extremely overpriced for shabby lodgings - Jacuzzi tub in room Extremely overpriced for shabby room
- Cruz (10/5): Exceptional - The staff and cleaning. There wasn't hygiene products in the room. Also no water.
- Denise (6/5): Room was clean, relatively affordable and adequate for a last minute weekend reservation. - Staff working went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our room. Allowed us to see room before we checked in and helped us carry our bags in. Room was very clean. AC was not on when we checked in. It took a while for the room to cool down. Bed sheets had a lot of fabric pills and were scratchy… Jacuzzi rooms not included in online booking.
- Fred (7/5): The place needs some cosmetic work - The place felt comfortable and safe and the agent on duty helpful . The hallways smelled and rugs dirty in the hallways. The bathroom floor was dirty under the sink and just needed a little cleaning via a mop
- Cynthia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (2/5): very Poot for that price. - nothing dirty carpet , the rooms and property in general, don’t smell fresh.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dvoyd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maryam (7/5): Good -
- Valloorperumpilavil (7/5): Good -
- Steven (7/5): Good -
- Dvoyd (6/5): Pleasant -
- Samantha (7/5): Good -
- Alan (7/5): overpriced especially for season and quality - tidy, easy access low on amenities: no tissues, tea or coffee. no kettle. a cracked plastic cup. price was much higher then rates posted on room door (despite in theory I should be getting a discount)
- Lori (9/5): Superb - Very friendly and helpful staff and great Jacuzzi
- Linzy (2/5): did the job for what we needed, should’ve stayed somewhere else - the property was close to the event we were going to so the location was convenient and staff was very pleasant. we booked a non smoking room however we didn’t not receive that the whole night we stayed I couldn’t sleep because of the overwhelming smell of smoke, while the rooms looked like they were possibly clean myself and my husband were afraid to touch anything or use the blankets and sheets.
- Lasheena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Wendy (9/5): Super clean and awesome staff member that was very attentive to our needs without us even asking! - Greeted upon entry by super friendly gentlemen. He noticed my hubs used a cane and offered us the handicapped parking right by our room. He also walked us to our room (which was more spacious and adaptable for handicapped), made sure the key card worked, turned on a couple of lights, showed us around and explained amenities of the room. Room and bathroom were super clean and very comfortable beds/pillows. I was not afraid to walk around in room with bare feet (I usually pack flip flops because of icky floors) or use tub/shower etc. Some lights didn’t work but no biggie for our one night stay. Other lights provided plenty. Towels could be more plush and bigger for the price but again, for our one night stay, no biggie. We could have requested additional and I’m sure they would have delivered to us immediately. Website said breakfast included but most likely due to COVID this was not available. Staff directed us to an iHop which was in walking distance.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Rajaniemi (10/5): Fantastic place to stay can't wait to go back - The whole experience was great There was nothing we didn't like.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Journey731011 (10/5): Solid experience, would go back - The staff were very kind to us. We checked in late at night and got a super last minute reservation. They were super kind and clearly put a lot of effort into making sure you have a comfortable stay. The room was quite clean and better than we expected! A slight cigarette smell outside but not in our room (thank goodness!). Would definitely stay here again. Very safe, clean, affordable for a couple. Lots to do in Springfield too if you’re looking for that!. The cat and the hat museum was the best lol and pretty close in location to this inn
- Jordan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Sydney (7/5): Good -
- Nichole (6/5): Pleasant - Beat up furniture, holes in blanket, paint chipping off the walls
- Frank (7/5): Great - I was given a great deal The place was over ran but that didn’t bother me
- Diaz (7/5): Good -
- Clay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): The staff was friendly, the room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, plenty of hot water, and conveniently lo - It was conveniently located, and it was clean. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
- V4040HMgarym (10/5): Getaway - I thought the pricing was a bit high, but when I called around it was much more than I expected for Springfield. Upon check in the male working in the office was extremely pleasant, my room was a bit small and out dated, but you get what you pay for. It was clean and they did bring us extra towels. Check out was fast and the lady gave me a tripadvisor card and asked me to complete a review based on my stay. Good value.
- 661maryannh (8/5): Clean and Friendly - There's nothing fancy about this motel; however, it was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to the purpose of our visit. The night manager was very courteous. It was a good stopover for the night.
- greenjayPA (8/5): Excellent value - Room was clean and spacious. Extra enclosure/hallway in front ensured that street noise was blocked. This is useful for traffic and other sounds because the car dealership across the street plays loud music 24/7! Luckily, you cannot hear it from the room. I appreciated the mini hair dryer which actually had some power to it. We would definitely use this location again if we were in the area. Excellent value.
- RichRichieRichmond (8/5): A good choice - Our two-night stay was pleasant. The room was clean and in good repair. Appears to be family/owner-managed and we were shown great courtesy. A bit of fruit at the breakfast would have been welcomed. My only complaint would be that the pool appears to have been permanently shut down. All web descriptions include its mention as an amenity. We were disappointed but too tired to search elsewhere on a hot August afternoon.
- mcboisvert (4/5): Clean but sub-par exerience! - My wife and I spent a night in # 20 .
cons
1. All the furniture looked like it was picked out of a dump's freebee trailer.
2. Could not get internet to work
3. A/C could not be adjusted and was loud.
4. Check out : staff interaction was non-existent
5. TV was problematic
pros:
1. room was clean
2. Check in person (owner?)was pleasant
3. price was reasonable
We can not recommend this place based on our experience.
- Betts650 (10/5): Vacation stop - The room and bathroom were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We are here for two nights and would stay here again. It was quiet and we felt safe here. It is also close to all amenities.
- johnpO894UY (10/5): Clean, friendly and a great value - We enjoyed a very pleasant stay for three nights. The check in clerk was friendly and helpful. The buildings seemed well maintained, everything worked from hot water to wifi. Bed was comfortable, the room and the linens were clean. Our room faced Riverdale Ave, but traffic noise was not really noticeable. Breakfast is limited to bagels, toast, cereal and orange juice in the front lobby. There's no seating area, but trays are provided to make it easier to carry food and drinks to your room.
We expect to stay here again on our next trip.
- 173donaldl (8/5): A Solid Good 3.5 Star Visit - First all of the good news. A nice, helpful, and pleasant manager. A very clean and nice enough room with a king-size bed. Warm upon arrival. Good wireless. Very affordable too.
A few things were not as good as they could have been. The old section was an older hotel with an enclosed interior hall added to the front. They are not uncommon and a bit odd looking. Another blanket for the bed would have allowed me to turn down the heat more while sleeping. The soap was so thin that it crumbled while using. A pet peeve for me are too-thick pillows and theirs were too thick.
I’ll rate it four stars but think of it as a solid good 3.5 stars. I’ll be back.
- Jbarter (10/5): Third visit - A family group (4 rooms) stayed one night a couple of weeks ago. For my wife and I it was a third stay at the Red Carpet. Raj was pleasant and helpful as ever. Clean room, good shower, once again a great value stay.
- TNTNYC (8/5): Sparklingly Clean - Very well run, run of the mill motor inn.The room is So extraordinarily clean , spacious and one can pull up to the room. Neighborhood is devoid of charm and worthy dining possibilities, but the room is quiet, the bed comfortable and the breakfast adequate.
- langfan1 (8/5): Great place to stay - As budget motels go, this place is wonderful. Mr. Patel was gracious at the desk when we checked in for a two-day stay recently. The room was just what we asked for - a huge king bed, non-smoking room on the first floor. The room smelled clean when we entered, the carpets and bathroom were immaculate, and the AC unit worked very well. There was a microwave and small fridge - always a plus! The bed was comfortable, but too high! Not their fault - we realize that beds are so high nowadays that you have to climb up into them - it's the trend. Most hotels are like that. The continental breakfast they offer in the office every morning is just fine - coffee, tea, cereal, toast, bagels, cream cheese.... Listen, if you want a big breakfast, go to the Denny's or Friendly's down the street - these folks are giving you a beautiful, quiet, comfy place to sleep for the night. We will return! Nice place!!!!
- johnbQ1568RZ (10/5): Convenient location, Outdoor Pool! - "Closed" pool means only guests of motel are allowed... keeps it quiet and sparkling! An Oasis after a long day of driving... close enough to Student Prince Restaurant (another Gem) on other side of the river
- kathryna180 (8/5): Good value - The rooms have been redone and the owners chose wisely we are to spend the money. There are new windows, nice granite countertops and very clean accommodations. I'm not sure that what is listed as a breakfast would fit the bill, but it didn't matter. The people were nice and the accommodations, particularly the beds, we're very comfortable.
- cliffnan (10/5): The room was very clean, and the owners were very nice - The swimming pool was perfect and our room was VERY Clean we stayed in room#39 by the pool and it was very quiet and very well maintained. overall i would stay here again on my way to Boston. Again the owners are very nice and they take very good care of the property.
Just down the road from Riverdale Shops.
- 587theresav (10/5): Very Satisfied - Being very picky about staying in motels, I was very pleased with the way were treated at The Red Carpet Inn. We asked to see the room before we paid and Raj the property manager was more than happy to show us. The room was great, we felt very comfortable here. The room was clean and had no funky smells like you find in most hotels. When Raj saw us outside he always asked how everything with the stay was. He made us feel very welcome in his place. They also sell Six Flags tickets there for $41. Which I find to be a great deal since at the gate I think they charge $65. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip back this summer. Thank you Raj for the hospitality.
