Room got so hot during day, had to leave door open to cool it down, and a mosquito got in and bit me up. Being so close to beach was good, but also humid in room with no air conditioner. I can't imagine staying there in the summer with the heat we've been having.

That I could smoke past their parking lot. Which I did, and I ended up getting a ticket on my first day. Pismo is a no smoking downtown area. Other motels that I have stayen at in Pismo have a designated smoking area.

- rose (2/5): Stay was fine what turned me off was when I went to check out and share the information with the front desk he seemed mo - The location is great They upgraded us to a room free of charge which was great but when we walk in the room is dirty. There’s food on the floor(chips) and the outside of the toilet bowl was dirty with stuff that belongs in the toilet but the office closes so early that there is nobody there to help after hours which is when we arrived. They accommodated us getting there late but you would think they would confirm room is cleaned first.

It was hot and there wasn't an A/C, however, there were two fans provided that made the stay comfortable. Also, checkout was 11am, however, we were allowed to keep our car in their parking lot until 3pm. We really appreciated it! We came a little before our 3pm check-in time, and our room was still being clean after 3pm. It was a minor inconvenience, though!

- Jessica (2/5): - How close it is to the beach. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, like worse than sleeping on a hardwood floor! The walls are ridiculously thin. The neighbor next to us was almost definitely on something, they were loud all night long, yelling, screaming, moaning, laughing, banging on the door at all hours to have someone let them in ALL NIGHT LONG. The owner was literally 2 doors down, he had to of heard everything! I literally just walked to the beach at 3 am and just slept on the bench off and on. The only cool experience was watching the sun rise over the ocean. Other than that, worst experience ever. The price was good, the stay was awful! The staff member that checked us in was okay, other than that, if you're not in your 20's and plan on getting any kind of rest, this place is not for you! Also, you literally have hardly any space in the room. You have just enough room to walk around the bed, which I would deal with considering the closeness to the beach, but the bed was awful.

I was able to walk out of my room, and immediately walk on the pier and beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in the SLO are or Pismo Beach. Walking distance from great restaurants and downtown Pismo Beach.

Location is wonderful- you can see the ocean from the rooms, the pier and beach are steps away, with shops and restaurants around the corner. The outside lights are really bright which is great for walking at night but the curtains don't quite block the light out so it was a little hard to sleep with so much light coming into the room. They provide room fans, coffee in the room, a little fridge, and soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. It was a very nice stay. We will be returning!

- Guest (8/5): Great Little Motel - We really enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Cove. The motel is right on the beach. It is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. And the host was so helpful. Great stay!

- JENNY (9/5): - Dolphin Cove Motel, although, is a motel, but its quality speaks for itself. The room is CLEAN. It has been UPDATED. Some ROOMS are more spacious than others. Free PARKING for your vehicle. The PIER is just around the corner. And to top it all, you have the OCEAN VIEW. It is at a great LOCATION. The property is WELL-MANAGED. Next time, I could go for a more spacious room.

- Daniel (7/5): Good time to relax and enjoy the day and see the sunset. Then get yourself a good rest in a super clean and comfy bed - The location is perfect! The bed was the best ever! Room was very clean! Free parking beautiful sunsets. The Beach is right there and the restaurants and stores are walking distance practically around our corner. the room had no AC & during the day it was an oven. we went on a very hot day & normally it’s fresh but we had to use the fans they had in the room & leave the door open so that some air could come in & freshen it. Limited space for parking so make sure you get there on time to get a spot.
