• MAGNE (9/5): Superbe séjour sur tous les plans - Le professionnalisme et la qualités des services La situation et le décor de l'établissement La rencontre " magique" avec des animaux de la savane. La pause " café" ou apéritif au cours des safaris superbement organisée dans les geabds espaces naturels. Même si on sait que la chance joue sur la rencontre avec des animaux de la réserve , des safaris se sont soldés par beaucoup de route pour peu de vue d'animaux. Mentionner sur Booking .com, la précision de la " mémorial gate" pour rentrer dans la réserve ( indication à donner au gps)
• anne (9/5): - Personnel très agréable, tres bons repas, chambre et vue magnifiques, promenades avec guides superbes, on a vu tous les animaux, sauf le lion, je recommande cet établissement exceptionnel. C'est dommage car nous avions choisi la honeymoon bedroom pour sa petite piscine avec vue, mais la pompe est trop près de la chambre donc on entend le bruit le soir alors que c'est un lieu où on voudrait silence et tranquillité. Peut-être pour quelqu'un qui n'est pas sensible au bruit ça ira mais moi cela m'a dérangé. A part cela c'était un séjour fabuleux.

• Jamie (10/5): Ultimate luxury experience in a beautiful place with great animals! - The staff at rhino ridge all went out of their way to be as helpful as possible and to make our stay extremely enjoyable. Everyone was always happy to greet us and helped us with any queries. Our safari driver was great, she was very knowledgable and friendly, and we always felt extremely safe. We saw all of the big 5, a hyena and a lot of other animals, which was amazing! We also did the bush walk and got massages, both of which were a great addition!

Very good range of animal sightings in spectacular scenery. Sometimes too many of the hotels trucks on scene at an animal sighting at one time - didn’t seem to operate a “stand off and wait your turn “ approach unlike other safari locations we have stayed at.

The games drive (every one is going 3 hours) were ok, but sometimes it felt a little bit like of a mass tourism, due to the drivers doing this every day twice the motivation were not always the same (understandable). Food was good, nice served but the quality was middle. People working over there are very friendly. For the price the food could have a little more higher quality.

• Mona (8/5): Luxus pur - Wir haben eine Villa gebucht und die war wunderschön! Geräumig mit einem Kamin, Regendusche, wunderschönes Himmelbett, sehr viel Platz. Es gab verschiedene Menu‘s, beim Frühstück und Abendessen. Jeweils drei Gänge. Mittags wurde ein sogenannter High Tea serviert mit verschiedenen Leckereien wo für jeden etwas dabei war. Es gab drei Menu‘s zur Auswahl, kein Buffet aber wenn man wollte hat man immer etwas gefunden und das Essen war sehr lecker Was nicht gut war es gab kein Internet, für Menschen welche darauf angewiesen sind war das nicht schön.

• Ben3001 (9/5): - A magnificent and very pleasant lodge. Overall, everything was perfect!! The service, the food, the safaris, the rooms… A true little paradise to discover. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to fully immerse themselves in nature. Unfortunately, there were two points that were somewhat disappointing, which explains the rating of 9 instead of 10. First, we were unable to book the spa in advance through Booking. We were told to do it directly on site, but upon arrival almost everything was fully booked. My mother managed to get a slot, but not my wife and me. In the lodge we visited afterward, we were able to book in advance and everything went very smoothly. Second, the morning safari schedule is not adapted to daylight saving time (departure at 6:00 a.m. while the park opens at 5:00 a.m.). Having experienced safaris starting at 5:00 a.m., you can really see the difference, and it feels like losing a full hour. For me, as someone who came primarily for the wildlife, this is a major and critical point.

• Sarah (10/5): Grandios!!! - Wir waren schon das 2. Mal dort und wieder absolut begeistert. Das Personal könnte nicht aufmerksamer und freundlicher sein und die gesamte Anlage ist ein Traum. Kulinarisch wird man auch sehr verwöhnt und unsere Game-Drives mit unserem Fahrer Simo waren spektakulär. Wir hoffen darauf irgendwann zum 3. Mal dort Urlaub machen zu können.

• Michael (10/5): Amazing experience and the best team of the world - We had a truly exceptional time at Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge. From arrival to departure, nothing was left to be desired. The entire team was just wonderful and made our stay a special experience and the highlight of our trip to South Africa. A very special thank you goes to our game guide Tobi, who introduced us to the wonderful nature in the reserve with lots of charm and a fresh spirit.
• Andrea (8/5): Tolle Unterkunft mit grandiosem Ausblick, gutem Essen und besonderer Atmosphäre. - Die Aussicht ist einmalig und der Nationalpark sehr schön. Der Ranger, der mit uns die Gamedrives gemacht hat, war nicht wirklich freundlich und eher unmotiviert. War in allen anderen Lodges wesentlich besser. Das Servicepersonal war etwas unorganisiert und teilweise auch eher unfreundlich. Ausgenommen der Generalmanager und die Abendbegleitung zum Bungalow - diese waren sehr freundlich!

Delicious food and impeccable service. A place to come back No wifi in the houses, but there is at reception (wasn’t a problem for us). Shower and bath aren’t totally separated from the suite. Can be tricky with kids
• Marco (10/5): Aussergewöhnliche Safari Lodge & Highlight unserer Reise - Aussergewöhnliche Safari-Lodge mit der einzigartigen Möglichkeit in die Natur einzutauchen, Traumhaft schön. Die individuell zubereiteten Mahlzeiten und der Service ließen keine Wünsche offen. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir perfekt von einem Guide betreut. Die Fahrt mit dem eigenen 4WD zur Lodge war ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. Es besteht keine Möglichkeit in der Lodge Bargeld abzuheben.
• Annelien (6/5): Unhappy returns - The spacious, private bushvilla and the stunning view. We booked and paid for 5 nights, but stayed only for four. We departed early after we continuously experienced frustratingly poor service at the restaurant. The food was at best mediocre. The chef seems to have an unhealthy fondness for Gorgonzola, which we do not share. The menu and plating of food were predictable after two day's stay, and we were concerned about food, especially seafood in mayonnaise, being served at room temperature during very hot conditions. I understand that people from local communities are employed, but English should be a basic condition of employment. Staff overall need better training, including the spa and housekeeping. The rooms also need maintenance. This was our second stay at Rhino Ridge, but unfortunately, we won't be returning.

It can be quite challenging spotting game in some parts of the park but this is more than made up for by the stunning scenery

No presentation about the activities of the foundation for which you pay a fee during your stay. Flavour of the dish of the second dinner can be largely improved. In the game drives there were some cars with just 2 people and others packed, and it does not make sense, especially if you have people with big telelenses they can t even turn without bump into another person head!

Sehr großes Zimmer, Badezimmer hat Aussicht mit Blick auf den Hluhluwe Park, alles sehr sauber. Sehr guter Service. Super leckeres Essen. Morgens und nachmittags tolle Game Drives durch die tolle Landschaft, tolles Erlebnis. Die letzten Kilometer Anfahrt zur Lodge sind allerdings sehr abenteuerlich, vorallem wenn es geregnet hat, aber unser Toyota Urban Cruiser hat es geschafft. Vom Nyalzi Gate bis zur Lodge braucht man ca. 1 Stunde ohne großartig anzuhalten um Tiere zu beobachten. Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt, man kann die Lodge nur empfehlen

• Martijn B (10/5): - Alles! Dit verblijf is echt een must-go. Het personeel, de ambiance, het eten, het concept, de game drives en alles eromheen. Het is een soort ultiem verblijf welke je een keer moet beleven. Geen moment heeft het ons verveelt. Dus wacht niet met boeken! Dat we weg moesten.

Angefangen von durchweg herzlichen und freundlichen Mitarbeitern, über eine atemberaubende Lage direkt am Bergkamm, mit einer unbeschreiblichen Sicht, tollen Zimmern, und fantastischem Essen, kann man die Rhino Ridge Lodge nur jedem ans Herz legen, der einen Aufenthalt im Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park plant. Einziger Fauxpas war, dass versucht wurde, während des Abendessens zusätzliche Aktivitäten für den nächsten Tag zu verkaufen. Das gehört für mich nicht hier hin. Während des Essens habe ich gerne meine Ruhe.

• George (10/5): Stunning location for a luxurious safari experience. - The lodge has a stunning panoramic view of the game reserve, always spectacular regardless of the weather, rain or shine. It is beautifully appointed with attention to detail. Our villa was outstanding-- private, peaceful, spacious and charmingly cozy with the open fireplace and relaxing with a huge private deck. Staff was very friendly, professional and attentive. Food was as plentiful as it was exceptional. Game drives were always exciting even if the elusive leopard sadly did not show itself during our drives. Thank you to all who made for a most memorable stay. It was all delightful! But...the upward climb to our villa was not always the highlight of the day. But the arrival-- well worth it!

• Marcelle (10/5): Simply Fabulous - Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Rhino Ridge. Located within Huhluwe Narional Park our package included game drives morning and evening with experienced ranger and driver Ellie. How fantastic to spend time with such a wonderful and inspirational lady who's been guiding in rhe park since 2014. The collaboration with the Isibindi Foundation means that most staff come from local villages as a partnership...and it shows. Everyone was super friendly and most obliging. We couldn't have chosen a better place to have a family reunion.

Se proprio devo cercare un consiglio, non un difetto, cercherei di migliorare la connessione alla rete: sia nelle camere che negli spazi in comune.

Choices of starters and main courses really suited us and the meal size was just right. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful and always cheery. The manager made sure he was available to welcome us to the lodge and also to say goodbye. Just a niggle really - but we did not really like being approached to book additional activities, that were at a cost, whilst we were having meals. We were told about the spa and bush walks when we checked in - that should be enough.

• Christian (10/5): Wunderschöne Lodge - Wunderschöne Lodge. Sehr gemütliches Haupthaus mit toller Sicht. Daneben die einzelnen Gebäude mit den sehr schön eingerichteten Zimmern. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Tolle Safari morgens und abends je 3 Stunden mit tollem Guide, wir haben viel gesehen. 3 sehr gute Mahlzeiten am Tag, auf der Safari gab es auch noch einen Snack. Optional kann man Bushwalk, Spa, Besuch eines Nachbardorfes machen, hatten wir gar nicht genug Zeit für alles was es gäbe.

• Stephan (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful place with warm and friendly staff. The game drives are fantastic. - All the meals were excellent, and we felt completely pampered throughout the stay. The staff could not have been more helpful and were all so friendly and welcoming. Seeing the whole team singing and dancing to celebrate guest birthdays was just amazing and totally unexpected! The room was wonderful, spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities and great views. We got to see so many different types of game and the game drives with Simo as our guide were fabulous, we saw, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, elephant, all sorts of antelope and zebra. The early morning coffee and evening sundowners in the bush were a bonus. Tip: Take warm clothes for the morning drives as it gets really chilly! Only wish we could have stayed longer....

Craig, and his fulll staff complement , went beyond expectations as it was our anniversary and everything I asked was done to perfection. Meals are an experience to savour with amazing tastes and choices from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The suite was fantastic with views over the reserve. Our ranger guide , Thulani, was so knowledgeable and we found some amazing animals from wild dog to lion to raptors and chameleons!! You must try the Spa when there as it is just an experience to try. Nothing

The main lodge area ,swimming pool , bar area fantastic! The location was out of this world and we were so impressed with the reserve. Game viewing was amazing! Rooms could have been slightly better , but not the end of the world. Think the lodge should invest in some land cruisers and not the hilux bakkie conversion as suspension extremely hard especially after 3 hours, but then again , all good.

The loge is very nicely built and all is of very good quality. The local and the food are stunning! Drives and food (3 meales per day) are included in the price.
