I had accidentlt booked the wrong night less then 2 min after booking arrived to hotel and asked to if they can cancel on their end so I can rebook because it wouldn’t let me o my end or if they can change the date he said no and made me pay for another night/stay an extra night. Then gave me issues returning my deposit. worst thing was the cockroaches!!! I felt gross leaving my bag open or eating here

• Christina (5/5): A decent enough place to stay if you are visiting Hollywood - It was very close to what we wanted to do and it was definitely in better condition then expected for the area/price. The beds/pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. We found two roaches but it wasn’t a big deal. The WiFi situation was not good. We were not able to access it. The parking is also really not good since there are 5 parking spaces in the main area that are super close together so even normal sized sedans have a hard time getting in and out. They say there is parking in the back but we did not know how to activate the gate but then a parking spot in the main area opened up.

Es ist sehr laut nachts, es haben zwei Fremde an meine Tür geklopft, auf der Straße schreien Leute rum und vor dem Hotel schlafen Obdachlose. Die Aussicht von meinem Zimmer war auf ein Ausrissgelände mit ganz viel Müll… Für eine Frau alleine absolut NICHT empfehlenswert!

We told staff and staff gave us another room that was even worse . Found more roaches, dirty sheets, dirty beds and there was blood all over the curtains . Everything was in very bad condition . Me and family had no sleep , it ruined our trip . Been trying to contact the manager for a refund because we checked out early and had to get a different hotel . Everything was bad condition

• IBRAHIM (1/5): Horrible experience because of the front desk employee. - Front desk did not honor booking.com Reservation. They wanted to charge me again even though I paid through booking.com. From desk receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all. After a long day, he wanted to charge me again even though I showed him the reservation but still wanted to charge me again and wanted to charge me more for deposit. It was horrible experience.

• Nacole (1/5): Do not stay here. - The sheets were clean. Close to the Hollywood strip. So not worth it though. Blood spatter on bathroom door. Pretty sure someone od'd and we heard it all through the thin walls and door. Sidewalks around were littered with trash, vomit, urine, and camps of houseless individuals. There was yelling all night long. I do not recommend.

• Steven (1/5): Cock roaches hookers no parking - Cock roaches, decaying furniture, a policy where 3rd party cleaning crew gets to keep everything and anything left behind in the room (medicine, laptops, cellphones, jewelry, medication you name it they are keeping it) But by far the worst part of all is the management, especially the very large very angry manager who is so unreasonably horrific it’s peculiar why he walks around the earth so filled with hate - NOT LGBT friendly Management skills

• Stefano (4/5): Non ci tornerò - Zona comoda , uno solo dello staff gentile, gli altri scocciati a qualunque ora li incontrassi Purtroppo struttura organizzata male, parcheggio riservato ai clienti (che lo pagano) scomodissimo, ogni volta per accedere dovevo suonare fisicamente in reception e poi recarmi al parcheggio in macchina, struttura molto sporca, le asciugamani ogni giorno erano le stesse ma ci trovavo capelli incastrati (non miei / sono rasato), una notte ho trovato e ucciso uno scarafaggio ( ho anche foto ma evito di condividere). Non tornerò..

• Jacquelyn (1/5): It was an absolute NIGHTMARE. - Honestly, nothing. It was absolutely horrible. The bathroom had a rancid smell we had to keep it closed with the window open. The air system did not work. There was no parking but we still had to pay $15 for it. The bed was EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable it felt like sleeping in a box spring. It was dirty in general, if we had not gotten into town so late I would have demanded a refund and found somewhere else to stay.

• Tupuaiooro (7/5): Bien car proche du centre. - L’hôtel est assez proche du centre de Hollywood Boulevard, ce qui est positif. Assez bien aussi pour une courte durée. La qualité n’est pas trop ça ainsi que certains des meubles. La salle de bain est à revoir car là où nous étions, il y avait une petite fuite d’eau.

• August (1/5): Management has issues with temper. - I think the one selling point for this property is its location. Otherwise, it’s quite awful. I tried to stay at the property one night and i couldn’t. Between no hot water, roaches, and a concerning (cracking) sound coming from the ceiling, I ended up booking another hotel out of desperation. When I came back to speak to management in the morning, the larger bald gentleman will glasses began yelling at me despite the fact that I brought the issues up to them in a calm manner. He then proceeded to bring me back to the room where he tried to show me a “trick” to get hot water from the shower. Calling it “luke warm” would be generous. He offered to change my room and at that point I agreed just because he had made me so uncomfortable with the yelling at the beginning of our conversation. After I left, I decided that it would just be better for me to extend my stay at the other hotel down the road (which was much cleaner w/ compassionate staff). My only regret is that when I ran out of the H.Guest Inn I forgot to take pictures of the roaches. Quite frankly, I have a huge phobia of bugs and didn’t want to go near them. But to be yelled at and told by management that none of the problems I mentioned existed… Yes, that honestly was worse than the bugs. All I will say is that I hope you don’t make the mistake I did and stay at this hotel. If I was yelled at while calmly and respectfully bringing up an issue, I can only imagine how they would reach if something more serious ever happened there. I have worked in customer service for years… Yelling at a calm and respectful customer is never appropriate. Never.
• Finkels (2/5): - Beaucoup de SDF autour de l hôtel. Nous étions avec une famille , de jeunes enfants . A notre retour en soirée un SDF dormait sur notre palier. Le chauffage était deffectueux et la batterie de l alarme incendie a commencé à sonner vers 5h . Ce qui en soit n était pas la faute de la compagnie... ça arrive. En revanche nous avons pris la décision de ne pas rester pour la deuxième nuit que nous avions bookée, lorsque nous avons demandé un remboursement le desk nous a dit que nos raisons n'étaient pas valables. Très décevant.

• Joel and Alice (8/5): Very welcoming and friendly, thanks Max! - We were greeted and checked in by Max. Max was very friendly and welcoming. He was happy to help us and have a good chat. We booked the room due to its proximity to the Hollywood Bowl. The inn is so close to many LA sights, allowing you to walk and enjoy what you find along the way. The bed was king size and comfortable. The room was clean and had what we needed for one night. Due to its location on Sunset Boulevard, you can hear the traffic at night. There were many loud engines revving throughout the night. Bring comfortable earplugs to stop this being an issue.

• Caitlin (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! - Literally nothing We booked this hotel by accident, I mistook it for the Sunset hotel i stayed at 12 months prior with some friends. This hotel was THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed at, but I had paid in full before we came so we just sucked it up for the few days. The room had not been cleaned before we checked in, with crumbs and hair found in the bed. We asked the reception why the room wasn't cleaned, his excuse was that the sheets get washed externally, but it wasn't that - they clearly had not been changed. This place was so awful, smelt like urine, full of crackheads doing god knows what and the shower drain didnt empty so by day four we were still showering with unknown pubic looking hairs floating around in the bottom of the bath (the shower was over the bath). I am not even joking, it was so disgusting i ended up not showering the last two days we were there and just had a sponge bath in the sink. We ended up cancelling this hotel which was booked for our few days in LA on the way home back to Australia and stayed in Santa Monica instead.

• Angela (1/5): I would not recommend this hotel. - it was near Hollywood Blvd The staff were rude, facilities did not provide enough towels and blankets, the carpets were dirty and sticky. There were a lot of drugs and inappropriate adults in and out all hours of day and night. Parking was horrible for an extra $15 fee. My family and I traveled 3 hours to stay one night for a trip to Universal Studios and a walk down Hollywood Blvd. The only good thing was the location. During our one night stay we had to evacuate because of a fire. This hotel was not safe for an emergency evacuation. There was only one way in and one way out. All gates and exits were locked and the only available exit was towards the fire.
