- A6368WQstevej (2/5): POOR SERVICE!!!!! - Poor Service!!! My family, along with three other families, recently stayed at the Sheraton Mesa Hotel at Wrigleyville West. We booked this trip in mid-December to get away from Chicago in the winter and attend Chicago Cubs Spring Training games at Sloan Park, which is conveniently located directly across the street from the hotel. We booked directly through the hotel’s website. The reservation process was straightforward, and the booking confirmation clearly stated that our stay included continental breakfast for all guests and free onsite parking. Check-in is listed as 3:00 PM. We arrived early and submitted an early check-in request through the hotel’s app, fully understanding that rooms may not be available before that time. However, even at 3:00 PM, our rooms were still not ready, and we did not receive access until close to 4:00 PM. This lack of readiness at the stated check-in time set a poor tone from the start. At the front desk, we were asked whether we had “pre-registered,” which was confusing given that we had already submitted our request through the app. Since our rooms were not ready, we checked our bags. After checking our bags, we asked about parking and were informed that we needed to pay for daily parking through an app. This directly contradicted our reservation, which clearly stated free parking. At that point, we had no practical alternative but to pay. Within minutes of arriving, we were already dealing with conflicting information and unexpected charges. The issues continued with breakfast. Our reservation included a continental breakfast, but there was no signage or communication indicating where it was located. We were directed to La Plancha Grill inside the hotel. Each morning, there was no continental breakfast available, and no staff present when we arrived. After waiting approximately 10 minutes, someone would eventually come out from the back and inform us that there was no continental option, despite what had been advertised and included in our reservation. While our vouchers were accepted for ordering from the menu, service was consistently slow and disorganized. Coffee and water service took an excessive amount of time, and we observed multiple guests entering the restaurant looking for the advertised continental breakfast, only to leave frustrated due to the lack of staff and clarity. The pool area itself was well maintained, but service again fell short. On several days, there was no pool bar staff available at the listed opening time, requiring guests to go inside to place and pick up orders. This is not consistent with the advertised poolside service. In addition, towels were often unavailable at opening, and trash bins were frequently overflowing and not attended to in a timely manner. One family in our group experienced an issue with their room door, which could not be properly secured. There was no maintenance staff available to address the problem, and the front desk was unable to provide a clear resolution or timeline for repair. This raised both service and safety concerns. Having experience in the hospitality industry, we found the overall level of service at this hotel to be well below expected standards. Staff were difficult to locate, communication was inconsistent, and basic operational elements appeared poorly managed. After returning home, I spoke with another guest who had stayed at the hotel during the same time. When asked about their experience, their response was simply: “What service?” That accurately reflects our experience as well. Unless proximity to Sloan Park is your only priority, I would strongly recommend considering other accommodations. If you do choose to stay here, be aware that the level of service may not meet expectations.

The rooms are outdated. Loose tiles and slimy shower in bathroom. Loud construction first thing on Saturday morning. Very few staff, like a ghost town, and no extra hospitality offered in exchange for the unexpected loud construction or lack of amenities. The pool is too cold to swim in. And they charge extra to park your car in their vast empty parking lot.
- Kentaro1017 (7/5): ロケーションは良かった。 朝食付きは失敗だったかも。 - ８日間の滞在で予約をしたところ要望タイプの部屋が７日連続でしか空きがなく、１日だけ異なるタイプの部屋を別途の予約しました。 チェックイン時にその事を伝えると同室で８日連続で使用できるように調整してもらいました。差額についても請求はないとの事で助かりました。 朝食付きプランにしました、プランでは朝食の内容には言及がなく、バウチャーをもらって初めてコンチネンタル様式（トーストとジュースとフルーツ）である事、そしてレストランにてそのメニュー（それぞれの選択肢）を知ることができました。コンチネンタル形式の選択内容についてですが、5日ほど利用しました。１日目、２日目の担当厨房スタッフにより選択肢に差異がありました、３日目からはそのことを伝え、均質なメニューで提供してもらいました。
- Kentaro1017 (5/5): MLBスプリングキャンプ見学の拠点 - MLBのカクタスリーグ観戦の拠点として利用しました。カブスのキャンプ地のすぐ横ですのでカブスの試合のある日は賑やかな場所です。 宿泊客もカブスファンが多い印象です。 他球団のキャンプ地へのUberの移動も問題なくできました。 予約はレイクビューでキングサイズベッドのタイプの部屋だったはずだが、与えられた部屋は反対側でクイーンサイズベッド２つの部屋だった。 もともとベッド２つの部屋を希望していたのでそのまま宿泊しました。Booking.comの予約明細と通りにはホテル側に伝わっているのではないかと思います。

- sterlynr2024 (2/5): Terrible! - We’ve had these reservations for about 7 months. We picked this hotel because of the proximity to the Copper State Brew Festival. After the festival, we checked in and met our friends, who were holding a table for 8, in the Sports Bar. We specifically were there to see Seahawks vs 49ers playoff game. Hotel was full, playoffs were happening, and there was a festival across the street. The friend who got the table originally had attended the beer festival, but actually did not enjoy the festival because she wasn’t feeling well. She’d left, checked into hotel, rested and returned to festival. She had a very minimal amount of beer. We checked in and met our friends at the table. Our other couples followed. When my friend, who was staying at this hotel, ordered another drink, she was asked if she’d been at festival. She answered truthfully. Yes. She was then informed she was cut off. Of the 8 of us, she’d had the very least. I think because she had a wristband on and had ordered two vodka cranberries that she had had enough, when in reality, she had had the very least and was staying in the hotel. We are all in our 60s and 70s and retired. Ironically, I use to work for Sheraton. When I heard someone at our table was cut off, I didn’t know who they were talking about. Turns out she was right next to me. It was unbelievable. I think she was cut off because she had a festival wristband on and assumptions were made that we had already had too much, which was not the case at all. In the meantime, the service was terrible. Understaffed? NFL playoffs, sold out hotel, festival across the street? One bartender? Our server was stretched thin. When Shannon, the manager, came over to address the situation, she supported her bartender, of course; however she couldn’t explain the situation. Bartenders call, I never saw him, so I’m not sure how he was determining that my friend should be cut off. We had ordered additional food, but when manager showed up, she said the table was cut off. They must’ve been understaffed. It was a fiasco and it seems unbelievable. No one will believe that 8 senior citizens staying at the hotel got kicked out because the person who had had the least amount was cut off. All I can think of is the bartender had had a recent experience where he overserved and he was accountable. He wasn’t letting that happen again. No judgment was used.

- lfudalum (2/5): Outdated, high priced, short staffed hotel - avoid! - Avoid at all costs… I’ve stayed at this location several times over the last decade and NEVER AGAIN. Nothing has been updated. Broken tiles, crooked light fixtures, furniture that is beyond the normal Sheraton standard. The TV doesn’t have a timer option (it’s 2026), hot water is nonexistent regardless of time of day. If you enjoy the constant slamming of doors, frat house furniture and cold showers - this is the place for you. I suspect with the Cubs Spring Training site literally onsite, they couldn’t care less about repeat business or reviews. Their onsite options are understaffed and underwhelming. Couldn’t get a bottle of water in the lounge or even try to redeem vouchers for breakfast. Drive a few miles west into Tempe - you’ll be glad you did!

Very nice facility. Bathroom in the room is outdated and dark and there was a loose tile and the shower leaked. It made it feel less clean. The pool heater was broke.

- Alejandra (5/5): It’s fine overall, our previous stay wasn’t as bad, just this time around we had those issues. - Surrounded by a nice park and lots of stores. The beds were comfortable. The hotel overall is nice and offers a nice coffee shop and restaurants. The fridge in the room is not as cold as it should be. We had our dogs food in there and it got bad on the second to last day. Our dog sick because of it. We also had the privacy on the door knob and house keeping still knocked and tried to open the door. We got woken up.

- Douglas (8/5): - Nice cleaning crew for room. Nicole was extra accommodating and personable. The lobby crew was on top of messes and cleaned the floors well. We had a cold snap so didn't use the pool or spa area. There were 2 maintenance items that I reported. I liked being next to the weekend RV coach show. The maintenance items were a hanging towel hook out of the wall. The drawer next to the bed kept opening on its own. Would not stay shut. Strange. Outside windows could be washed for a clearer view. It did finally rain sothat could help. The Riverside park was nice. The sunrise view was great on my first day.

Was given a perk of envoy club. It was Friday the place was a mess, I threw the trash away. It was nice to receive this perk BUT, one could. It get coffee or anything else as nothing on the weekends, not right but thanks.

- Hefziba (2/5): - I didn’t stay in the hotel after being moved 3 different times to 3 separate rooms. Each room had some sort of stained carpet or dog/cat fur and debris. The smell of cat urine was in every room. The manager of the cleaning department had to come and see and also confirmed that the room was not clean. I knew it was a pet friendly hotel but was not aware that every room was pet friendly. I had to ask for a refund and find a new hotel last minute.

One of my favorite features is the Saturday night movie by the pool. It’s such a fun touch that makes the stay even more special. Speaking of the pool, it's absolutely stunning and a great place to relax or enjoy some downtime. The restaurant is another standout, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, and the food is consistently delicious. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a meal by the pool, it’s always a treat. Every time I stay, I leave with amazing memories, and I can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend!

- 314dylanr (10/5): Amazing escape for meetings and baseball fans in Mesa - This was an amazing venue for a business meeting. There were several clean comfortable large meeting rooms that were elegantly decorated. There were several food / restaurant choices that were all delicious. The pool and outdoor spaces were incredible clean and gorgeous. The staff at every corner were all so sweet kind and helpful. We were located within a short walk from the cubs stadium in Mesa. I can’t wait to have a chance to come back.

- Shan (2/5): - Because of its convenient location near my business trip destination, this was my fourth time staying at this hotel. We stayed for three nights in total. However, on the morning of our final day, August 8th, at around 7:20 a.m., a loud and piercing alarm suddenly went off. I initially assumed it would stop within a few minutes, but it continued for at least twenty minutes. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told it was a “test.” This explanation was both surprising and unacceptable. The timing and duration were entirely unreasonable—what kind of “test” lasts nearly half an hour and is conducted around 7 a.m., when most guests are still resting? This incident severely disrupted my sleep, especially as I had gone to bed very late the previous night. Equally concerning was the hotel’s complete lack of communication. There was no prior notice, no updates during the incident, and no follow-up afterwards. The matter was treated as if nothing had happened. Such poor handling of a situation, combined with the lack of consideration for guests’ comfort, resulted in one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any hotel. I am deeply disappointed in the brand, and I hope this feedback will be taken seriously to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Some lady came up to look at it, took pictures and told me that someone would be out around 3pm and change all the sheets. Time was around 2:48pm when she told me that. We went to the bar and pool downstairs, returned after 6pm and sheets were not changed. Reported again, and someone did go after I reported the second time. The lady that took pics balmed it me. It was on my side of the bed, but the stain was on top sheet and I dont have any open cuts or scars. She was extremely rude!!
- D (8/5): Decent stay - Sheraton stay, as expected. Decently cleaned for a hotel (I know staff is limited on time per room) . Good location Front desk staff wasn't present & had to wait a few minutes, this isn't a big deal. However when Chris arrived I was completely ignored & just glossed over me, a single female who had been waiting prior, to try to help the gentleman behind me. Like I said he was a gentleman & informed him I too was waiting to check in. I wouldn't have been bothered as much as it did if I hadn't been standing so close to the front desk & right in front of Chris & had made eye contact with me.

The hotel did not offer all of the services that it stated it would offer daily. For example - Coffee shop was not open each day. The restaurant was open for a buffet breakfast but only for the conference staying at the hotel. The hotel stated room service was available , but did not provide. The hotel seemed busy, however as a hotel - one would think they could accommodate many guests. The facilities were fine, except the elevator worked when it wanted to- hit or miss. The room- very nice clean, spacious, comfortable bed. Overall would definitely stay again. I felt safe and it was clean.
