Guest Reviews
- Robert (8/5): Good location, decent hotel - The bed pillows were horrible! Too small and unsupportive.
- Gina Seaward (10/5): - I love the atmosphere at this hotel. Staff are always friendly The restaurant wasnt open
- Guest (9/5): -
- Murphy (10/5): - I loved the bed, and pillows it was so comfy!! It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast, other hotels I've stayed at in previous years offered, toast, tea, coffee, waffles, fruit, cereal....
Also your parking lot needs repairs
- Murphy (10/5): -
- Oleksandr (4/5): - We were traveling with our cat. We booked a room with a king bed, but upon check-in, they upgraded us to a standard double room because "a king room is not pet-friendly." However, in another city, at the exact same hotel, they gave us a king room without any problems.
- Randy (10/5): -
- George (9/5): - Very helpful staff. Lovely restaurant. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast included would have been nice. However, the restaurant’s paid breakfast was delicious.
- Terrence (7/5): -
- Michael (9/5): great overall experience and relaxing stay - Location was great for my travels and food and drink on site was great. Staff professional over all great experience only negitive would be the parking lot with hole that could hurt a rim on a motorcycle. and most likey a cars if you hit it..
- Terry (7/5): Friendly staff, clean hotel - The only issue was 1 of the light bulbs over the vanity was blown
- Darlene (4/5): - Excess noise level beyond the quiet hour
- Harvey (9/5): - When I called for a reservation I was told you had a room but you were full and the cost of the room was 240. Plus tax.I went on line and got it for 200. I think it is ridiculous
- george (8/5): - Breakfasts were favorable. Very quiet. No complaints. Nothing wrong really.
- Marlene (10/5): - Very comfortable beds and beautiful view from our room. But costly
- David (9/5): I would definitely stay again - Breakfast and waitress was excellent Nothing
- Klaas (9/5): -
- Michael (8/5): -
- Michele (8/5): -
- Ikumi (6/5): The staff was not friendly, and the AC did not function properly. The room was sufficiently clean. - Quietness. The AC was too loud. I tried to shut it off, but could not. There was a note that requested not to unplug the cord from the outlet. But there was no way of properly shutting it off but to unplug it.
- sherman (7/5): - Location A little dated
- Denis (7/5): -
- Janelle (8/5): -
- Torri (8/5): It was comfortable. - The bathroom vanity could have been cleaned better, lots of hair left around the sink, etc from previous people.
- Kathia (8/5): Nice stay - Rooms get cleaned every day, nice restaurant on site, comfy beds. The gym is so bad they may as well get rid. The road up to the hotel and the parking lot rarely get plowed and we got stuck in snow multiple times.
- Terry (8/5): Overall it was fine - Friendly staff, clean Not your fault, but the cable tv kept cutting in and . I turned it off
- Carl (10/5): Great place to stay - Great location , clean and friendly staff All good no complaints
- Brian (4/5): Cut the price by a third and I might consider staying there if desperate. - Not much. Parking lot was very dark at night and needs major repairs to large and vehicle damaging potholes. The room: the heater was extremely noisy which in the end was actually okay as it drowned out the noise from other occupants in the corridors and outside. Overall the hotel was drab and dingy. It would have been okay at a much lower price. It was clean however give the place that.
- Tammy (7/5): -
- Eugene (9/5): Nice - All good
- Chantel (6/5): Payment was $175.00 - no breakfast in the morning and hotel was not really clean. Priced to high - Close to Restaurants Restaurant was closed in the hotel earlier than advertised. The bathroom in our room had drywall and paint removed. The shower was not fully cleaned. We cleaned the shower before we could using it that night.
- Trudy (9/5): Excellent stay only thing wrong was need new pillows -
- penney (9/5): - No breakfast Numbers on exterior of room doors
No exterior lights were on or possibly not working
During our stay
- Darlene (8/5): - Parking lot needed work.
- Randell (10/5): -
- Anick (4/5): Not Quality at all - Definitely not a 9.2 guest rating. Old, toilet and shower super small with Gyproc damaged and missing tiles. The sink is in the hallway which is very inconvenient to use when the family is in bed or at night and not private and not able to use when the bathroom door is open. The bathroom door is falling off their hinges and very loud when opening and closing. Everything is old and dated, damaged or worn out. Not worth $200.00 a night, not even $100.00 a night.
- Markus (9/5): -
- Arlie (2/5): - Quality Inn Staff are unprofessional. I was stuck in Montreal, but they would not let me cancel my reservation. My trip was cut short, and again, they would not let me cancel my reservation. I paid for 2 nights at 2 different hotels and was unable to stay with them 2 out of 3 nights that I booked, but they still charged me for all 3... Ridiculous treatment of guests.
- STEFAN (10/5): - Everything worked well, very efficient and fast , thank you, Stefan
- Isaac (8/5): - Quick stay all good
- Judy (10/5): - yes very clean and friendly staff. Shops are very close to hotel ,walking distance.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Kerstin (10/5): - We were there for just a short time but our stay was very comfortable, quiet, and staff was welcoming and friendly. I really like how the top sheet and coverlet on the bed are put together! Recommend a stay.
- Kendra (6/5): - Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Very thin walls with no sound proofing. A bit outdated
- Kent (8/5): -
- Mark (9/5): After a long days drive it was a pleasant surprise to find it had a restaurant - Close to the highway and it has a good restaurant Nothing
- April (8/5): -
- Mandy (8/5): Pet friendly hotel with extra conveniences for pet owners. - It was the first time we stayed at any hotel with our 8-month-old puppy and I was a little concerned how it would go but I was pleased to see there was a special area just for pets and our room had an exterior door to the outside where our puppy could relieve herself. The room was clean. There wasn’t a tub but rather a nice size shower. Overall it was a great stay.
- Colleen (6/5): - Staff were great. Room was okay. Need lighting in parking lot.
- Justin (6/5): - Check in was quick and environment was quite. Location near restaurants, fast food and mall shopping. Parking lots in very rough condition and some rooms are in better condition as we've stayed in this hotel several times before.
- Hilary (10/5): -
- sanmack (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Quality Inn Ansterdam suites Fredericton - Very clean room, comfortable beds. Lots of free parking. Breakfast was good. Overall Ansterdam chain is very good and gave used their hotels swveral times.
- Claire (4/5): - Cigarette butts in the entrace ways.
Garbage bags left at the front entrance for over two days.
Parking lot full of BIG pot holes
Hole punch in the wall from the door handle in the room.
Room smelled really bad. Smelled loke cigarettes
The sheer curtains were all wringled
One of the lamp shape has a hole in it.
Overall the experience wasn"t pleasant.
It is unfortunate because with more love and attention this hotel has a lot of potential.
- Raymond (10/5): - Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable. Very quiet with a beautiful veiw
- Melissa (6/5): - Parking lot needs work
- Angie (8/5): - Stay was short. No elevators.
- Roxanne (7/5): Comfortable for my stay. - The location was good for me. It was clean and comfortable. You couldn’t close the curtains at night. There was only a sheer curtain. The light came in as soon as the sun came up. The WiFi wasn’t working most of the time.
- Brownbridge (9/5): -
- Deanne Hickman (8/5): - Centrally located. Very comfortable bed. I don't know if there wasn't an elevator or I just couldn't find it but even the 1 flight of stairs after an 8hr drive was challenging lol
- John (8/5): - Uncomfortable bed and major issues with the parking lot but friendly staff and decently clean room. Lots of towels and ac was working nicely.
- Talaat (10/5): - nice stay , comfy , like it
- Clare (8/5): - View from the dining room. Restaurant needs more staff, bus person, to assist the very hardworking kind restaurant staff.
- Lisa (8/5): - *
- Warren (8/5): - Friendly staff and clean rooms. Good restaurant.
No elevator to second floor.
- Tammy (8/5): -
- Clara ann (7/5): Everything else was perfect - Good Air conditioner was on didn’t know how to use it to turn off the room was freezing had to unplug it
- Dave (1/5): -
- susanz (8/5): This hotel was a great place to stay and explore the local area. - Our room was large and comfortable and the staff were particularly helpful and friendly. We were able to store our bikes safely, and we explored the city with both the bikes, and if we were going further out of the city, with the car.
- Daneau (8/5): -
- Frankie (8/5): - No elevator but had 2 floors, but we stayed there on our return and asked before checking out on our first stay for a room on the main floor. Obviously it was a request but they did fulfill oryr needs.
- Christina (8/5): - It was a short comfortable stay close to the main highway en route from a ferry crossing.
- Edward (7/5): Not overly good due to a ball team of teenagers running around the hotel slamming doors and yelling - Very friendly staff, room was great, bed was comfy, hotel overall was good There were a bunch of teenagers and parents staying at the hotel that were in a ball tournament. The teenagers were running around the hotel, extremely loud, noisy, rambunctious, with no parental supervision as they were all drinking in each others rooms. The staff did the best they could to control the situation but the overall experience with loud, out of control teenagers running through the halls yelling, slamming doors, being totally disrespectful to other patrons of the hotel while the parents were no where around was horrible. If you are going to rent out a pile of rooms to teenagers and their parents you should make sure you have enough staff working to control the situation or hold the parents accountable for letting their children run around a hotel while they have drinking parties
- JOHN (10/5): - Inside the hotel was excellent. The parking area is terrible.
- AUREA MADONNA (8/5): -
- Fan (1/5): Very bad experience, I will never go back - no I will never go to such a hotel again. I booked a room very early, but when I arrived at the hotel I still had to wait to confirm whether there was a room. When I entered the room, there were drinks and coffee from the previous guest on the table. I felt that the room had not been cleaned at all.
- Shirley (9/5): great room great staff - big rooms nothing
- Krista (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Excellent stay. Facility was sold out and was still extremely quiet. Great views of Corner Brook from your room and the restaurant. Checkin was quick and efficient with a very personable front desk staff. Our first choice in Corner Brook to stay anytime of the year. Bedding is very comfortable with a very nice A/C unit when the temp outside was 33C.
- Kristen (8/5): -
- Tonya (10/5): - Clean , comfortable
- Karen (5/5): Worn and tired - The beds were comfy and clean The room was on the second floor and no elevator.
The carpets were worn and dirty.
The room was dusty
The dining room was dusty and tables were sticky
- Rosa Maria (2/5): - The property had to elevator. Our rom smelled of smoke.
- John (6/5): - Very expensive for this level of hotel. I know it was high tourist season but paying over $500 for two nights was a bit much and I would say twice as much what we should have paid for a 2 1/2 to 3 star motel
- Andrea (10/5): - Great
- Terry (8/5): - Bed was very comfortable but the price was too high.
- Monika (9/5): Convenient & practical if you need a place to stay and stock up on the way to somewhere else. - Very accessible to the highway and a couple shopping malls, but far from the Centre of town. Good for a transit stay to somewhere else. The room was spacious and comfortable with an air conditioner capable of producing arctic blasts! There is no lift/elevator. I struggled to haul my suitcase up & then down the stairs.
- Lindsey (4/5): - Upon arrival at room we found a bed that clearly had someone lounging on it with disheveled bedding and pillow askew. We couldn’t be moved as hotel was sold out and there was no housekeeping available to change the bed. We were given sheets and made the bed ourselves. Shower was also leaky and the outlet at the vanity didn’t work. We were given a discount in the form of credit through the third party whom we had booked prepaid.
- Sandy (7/5): Amazing view from the restaurant. - As others have mentioned, this hotel is in need of a major overhaul. We were dismayed when we arrived to see what disrepair the parking lot and front entrance were. Also, the carpeting etc. was also very shabby and we were surprised to find out that there is no elevator! The restaurant has so much potential with its amazing view of the city etc. Our room and bed were comfortable, quiet and clean. We had breakfast there which was adequate. See above.
- Amber (8/5): - Close enough to get to many attractions in the area
- Sheldon (10/5): - Great hotel
- Angela (7/5): It was OK. - Just off the highway, good place to stay if you are arriving off the afternoon ferry. Restaurant on site. Over priced. It was ok, but the price was high. Seems like they take advantage of people just arriving off the ferry by charging and inflated price.
- Clayton (10/5): - Nice hotel. Great staff.
- Russell (6/5): - No elevator
- Don (10/5): - all good
- Lynette (10/5): - Great stay very clean
- Pascale (8/5): - The room was nice, clean (besides carpet) and quiet, beds were comfy. The service was excellent, very friendly staff and the restaurant was nice and friendly too. The only reason I give it less stars is because the carpets in the room are so dirty, they look visibly clean but they are so greasy. Do not take your shoes off.
- Shannon (10/5): - Great views
- Carlee (8/5): -
- Adriana (10/5): - Nice location with great view of corner Brook
