Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We arrived to find the property to find sheets and bedding lying on the floor dirty. Bed mattress cover full of hairs. The place was untidy and needed a good clean. Bathroom was dirty with wet mat thrown crumpled on the floor, the kitchen was greasy and smelled. We could not park in the space provided as another car was there. The contact numbers of the property given by Expedia did not work. We want our money back now! Had to find another place to stay on arrival as was not prepared to clean the apartment. Said as much to the owner and also to Expedia who have yet to contact me regarding my refund! Will never use Expedia again for anything as their customer service is appalling.
- Angela (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - This is a fabulous place to stay!
- Elaine (8/5): Nice apartment, would stay again. - Lovely, comfortable apartment. Really easy walk to centre of Bath. Nice restaurants nearby. Parked the car in the private space and didn't need it again. Nice, small balcony outside for morning coffee. Would choose this again over hotel as travelling with children and the 2 bedrooms made all the difference we all had enough space.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The flat is in a very central location and it was great that there was a spot to park also.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Its location was perfect. It was 10 to 15mins walking distance to most places in the city.
It had all the amenities. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Situated in a convenient area close to the centre of town. Parking facility. Easy to locate - detailed directions from the owner upon booking.
Some mix up on the checking in procedure and tried to contact owner as detailed in check-in email (was sorted out in the end)
- Hayley (10/5): Cute, clean and convenient! - The suite was adorable and very clean and comfortable. I was visiting Bath with my brother, mom, and partner and there was plenty of room for us all (although my brother was sleeping on the couch, which wasn't a problem for us). The location was superb, with lots of cute shops nearby and just a short walk to all the main attraction. Plus, it's located right across from the historic Bell Inn, a great local pub and music venue which was a huge plus for me! Overall, we had a great stay.
- Kim (10/5): A lovely apartment - My friends and I booked this apartment for a trip to the Christmas market, it was perfect, close to the town centre and also very clean, would highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Spacious apartment very close to the centre it was also very clean and had all the appliances you needed would recommend to a friend and would stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Home from home apartment - We stayed in bath for 2 nights and had a great stay! The apartment was clean with a lovely garden, super comfortable beds and an easy walk into the centre- will definitely be back!
- Simon (10/5): Perfect little spot - Perfect place to stay in bath! In a great location, parking was so handy, really nice little apartment! Couldn’t really have asked for more (maybe a little bit more space for the toilet!)
- Verified traveler (10/5): Would go back! - The owner of 1 London St moved us down the road because of unchangeable circumstances but the new flat was new and clean and close. She was helpful in showing us how to navigate the town and get back and forth from the city center. We were nervous at first about the change in location but Karyn and her friend Matt were very friendly and it all turned out wonderfully.
- Rebecca (10/5): Love the guitar - Loved it
The owner was so ill and has put a lot of thought into the flat
Fave touch was the guitar
- Anne (10/5): - The flat is tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The location is excellent being close to centre and ther is a parking space right outside. My complaint is that we were unable to contact the owner until she sent final instructions a day before as the phone number given was unobtainable and she took the whole payment out of my account two weeks in advance without notifying me ,which caused me to be overdrawn.
- Larry (8/5): Good Apartment in a Great Location - Though a bit difficult to find (the address is not clearly marked), once we did, the apartment met our needs. We had two adults and two children, having three beds (difficult to find in Europe) was great. The location is excellent. It's an easy walk to the heart of town, with plenty of eating opportunities nearby. the provided parking spot was handy too.
- Brian (4/5): Disappointing experience. - There was no personal contact with anybody as the accommodation is an apartment - there was only email contact and information given through this medium was unsatisfactory. My last email, seeking clarification of information previously given, which I couldn't comprehend, went unanswered, which is pretty poor service. There were no instructions or directory in the flat about how to turn the cooktop on; how to access internet; what to do with garbage; etc. In respect of this latter matter, on our arrival there was already garbage in a plastic crate under the back porch, obviously left by the previous tenant. This garbage had clearly been attacked by some animal as some of it was scattered under the porch area (I cleaned it up as seemingly there was nobody else to do it).
Bedrooms are very noisy - they front a moderately busy street running beside the apartment (Walcot St.) and are only separated from it by the 1.5 metre wide footpath. Sleep is disturbed by both vehicular traffic and the conversations of pedestrian traffic - honestly it feels as though they are talking beside your bed.
- Family with Kid (8/5): Great location but bedrooms noisy - Excellent location near to city centre. Everything in 5-10 mins walk. Nice flat but bedrooms are adjacent to the street and only single glazed so subject to noise (late night party folk passing by and early morning street cleaners plus general traffic noise).
