• john (10/5): Can’t wait to stay again!!!! - The location was just perfect, our room faced the quay, which I have to say is slightly underwhelming when the tide is out but is just stunning from afternoon.. one of the main reasons we will be returning to this fabulous guest house, the rooms where spotless, Janine our hostess was so friendly, breakfast was lovely, just couldn’t fault anything ❤️ Couldn’t say anything negative about the property..

• Marcus (10/5): Sehr nette Unterkunft. Gerne wieder! - Die Betreiberin (Janine) ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schon vor Anreise nahm sie persönlich Kontakt auf zwecks Checkin. Die Unterkunft ist klein und gemütlich. Der Frühstücksraum typisch eingerichtet und gepflegt. Unser Parkplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft war sehr praktisch. Das Zimmer war klein (das wußten wir aber), aber in Ordnung, im Bad gab es Pflegeprodukte. Lage ist top, nur ein paar Schritte uns Zentrum. Gute Restaurants und Pubs fußläufig erreichbar. Wer will kann direkt zum SW Coastal Path Richtung Polperro zu Fuß losstarten.

Janine was amazing: friendly, welcoming, informative and nothing was too much trouble! Paul’s cooked breakfasts were great and his fried eggs were cooked to perfection (I told him everyday). • Kim (10/5): Absolutely amazing in so many ways - From the moment we reversed our car into the parking space we were greeted by the lovely hosts with a warm, genuine welcome. We absolutely loved staying in the quaint guest house which is situated in the heart of Looe. Our room overlooked the river and was bright, clean, comfortable and everything we were looking for. The greeting from Jan for our breakfast each morning was a fab way to start the day and the food and choices were outstanding. We felt so welcomed and at home and could not fault this property in any way. It is by far the best we have stayed in during our adventure around Cornwall. All made even more special by friendly, professional hosts. So many other proprietors could learn from this amazing duo. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to visit again one day. We loved everything!

Clean, comfortable, cosy accommodation, a very tasty breakfast and a lovely, warm and welcoming host. The position is perfect - a short walk across the bridge and you are in the main streets. Will definitely be recommending Little Mainstone to anyone visiting Looe for a couple of nights away.

She offered tips for places to eat and was super friendly. Our room was perfect. Spacious and clean with the most comfortable huge bed. The view was spectacular. We were walking distance to everything in town. There is parking available at the property too for smaller cars. The breakfast was delicious. • Marilyn (9/5): A well spent couple of days break in September - Welcomed at the door by Janine, and shown to our front room - beautifully appointed, with huge comfortable bed and armchairs; overlooking the harbour. Excellent friendly hosts, able to share local info and recommendations. As so often mentioned, our breakfast was very tasty, and served hot! Good selection of cereals, fruit juices and fresh fruit- all served in a light airy dining room, or in the conservatory (warm and sunny when we visited) An easy 20 minute walk either around the quayside, or to the beach No complaints at all

Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the choice and quality of the breakfast was exceptional. Little Mainstone was spotlessly clean and the small garden was just beautiful to relax in . Nothing the quality and finish was superb.
