- Jefcoate (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and will be returning to spend more time investigating the local walks; - This property was an overnight stop. when we arrived we were impressed by our greeting and the willingness of staff to make our stay a pleasurable one. This was immediately apparent when bar staff offered to take our bags up to our room.
situated at a high spot on the malvern hills , the outlook from our room was outstanding. and the tea and coffee provisions in the room were plentiful. we also had easy chairs and a comfortable bed; In the morning we enjoyed a good breakfast. the evening meal met our needs; Our hosts have achieved a great deal in their first 12 months with a significanr investment; The main challenge was the parking, which is very limited, much of it on the street. Personally I think that the restaurant/ bar area would benefit from a very light colour to reflect the limited natural light; Possibly consider increasing the breakfast menu to include continental options.
- Cohen (8/5): Second stay at the Inn. Made very welcome- very homely. - Excellent breakfast- just order what you like. Meals well cooked and generous and good value.
Great atmosphere. Wood stove in dining area.
The Inn is high up on the Malvern Hills so there is easy access to great walks and its not fare down to the town where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants plus other activities. Also easy access for the County show grounds whuich is why we chose it previously. The Inn is old We have same problem in most hotels - the quilts are too heavy for our comfort.
- Sheila (1/5): Never stayed - Nothing On their booking site, it says about the good choice of beers and that the restaurant is open 6pm till 8:15pm, when we arrived to check in, we were informed the pub would not be open on Monday, no where on their site did it say they were closed and they emailed us to confirm we were still coming and never mentioned they were closed. We have since messaged the property and they have ignored us, very rude and disrespectful to say the least.
- Claire (8/5): - Nice friendly staff nothing was too much trouble
- Sue (9/5): Felt like a home from home - Dave and Pam plus the extended family were really friendly and welcoming. I had a couple of specific requests which they accommodated with no problem. The food was delicious and the view from my bedroom was gorgeous. I'd certainly stay again. n/a
- Michelle (8/5): Small, friendly, comfortable b&b - Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Good location to get to the Malvern Hills.
- Nicole (7/5): Great location for the flower festival, clean and staff very friendly - Views were amazing
- daljit (10/5): Fantastic location , food is awesome and you can meet the locals in the bar - Location was great , atmosphere created by the owners and locals . The chef is a star ⭐.. Nothing
- sally (10/5): - Breakfast was filling and a varied selection. Evening meals are available and portions were plentiful. The Wyche Inn is suitably located for all we had planned for the weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

- Tim (8/5): Stunning views and a great traditional breakfast. - Stunning views looking east from the bedrooms.
- Andy (7/5): - Nice pub with clean rooms and comfy beds.
Worth noting they told me the pub closed at 6pm on Sundays, that is not the opening hours they advertise
- hollie (9/5): - Location was great for walking. Welcoming and friendly staff and a cosy lounge/dining area. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and good value. Rooms simple but with everything you would need. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms a little dated, could do with an uplift, however, everything functioning well,, showers had good pressure.. Thank you for our lovely stay.. We would recommend a stay here.
- Susan (9/5): - Best hosts ever they made you so welcome and could not do enough for us. Room very nice with lovely comfortable bed and fantastic views from windows. Food excellent home cooking how it should be for both breakfast and evening meals. Owners just lovely and we have already booked for next year. Parking Limited although owners do their best. If parking was better you would never get a booking as everyone would be fighting to stay. We have already booked again for next year.

- Vivien (10/5): A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. - We loved the location - ideal for walking in the hills. The staff were really friendly and helpful; the food in the pub was excellent and good value and we particularly appreciated the welcome pack in the fridge - it was very thoughtful! N/A
- Alison (8/5): - Excellent location, right on the hills and perfect for walkers. Very tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Great selection of teas in the room and the fan was appreciated in the hot weather! Certainly can't beat the view out over Worcestershire Beds and pub bench in need of replacement. TV was faulty - thanks though to Pam for rescuing our DVD!
- William (10/5): Absolutely amazing from start to finish - It was Ann absolutely lovely place to stay, such a friendly atmosphere with lovely hosts and staff, food was magnificent, scenery beautiful, couldn’t of picked a better place to stay, hope to go back again in the future Nothing,it was perfect
- Ian (7/5): -
- Beverley (9/5): - Staff were lovely, very welcoming, and the pub itself was cosy with a real fire. Lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent
Overall, it was an excellent choice for an overnight stay The only thing that let it down was availability of off-road parking. I did manage to park. However, it was tight
Just a note that if you struggle with mobility, all the rooms are up a flight of stairs
- Beverley (10/5): -
- Janet (10/5): Very friendly. - Breakfast excellent. Difficulty getting out of car park although aware this was due to traffic diversion, so not usually a problem.
- Stanley (3/5): -
- jeremy (10/5): - Great atmosphere. Friendly staff..
Great views comfortable clean rooms. Parking can be a little difficult.
- Clair (9/5): Great stay in a great location - The room was clean and comfy, staff were friendly nothing
- Chris (10/5): Perfect location for a weekend break in Malvern - Good size room with amazing views; Worth waking up early for sunrise! Really good pub as well and excellent full English breakfast in the morning.
- Jill (8/5): -
- Ollie (8/5): - Very nice evening meal.
- Jan (7/5): - The bed and room were lovely. The food was great. The bathroom was poor. Needs a really good clean.
- Rachel (10/5): Great location with very welcoming and accommodating staff - The breakfast was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to cater for our needs. The view from the pub and our room was breathtaking. The pub was friendly and welcoming with a pool table and darts boards and the location was perfect for exploring the Malvern Hills
- Peter (8/5): We went to visit friends so didn't spend a lot of time there but it served as an excellent base - we arrived for breakfast due to a misunderstanding however they went out of their way to provide us with a breakfast which was excellent!
The views from the room were fantastic
Staff were very friendly
Room was clean and comfortable The TV kept turning off not sure of reason
The water took forever to fill the bath (reason for our delay to breakfast)
There was a strange smell in the room in the evening not sure what it was or where it came from but wasn't present in the daytime
- Dennis (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and will be back! - The breakfast was excellent and so were the evening meals. The location could not have been better for access to both the southern and northern Malvern Hills and also the town of Great Malvern. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the general atmosphere was of a friendly local pub where it was easy to get into conversation with some of the regular local visitors. Angus, the St Bernard puppy added even more interest when he made the very occasional visit to the bar! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and will be back! Nothing!
- Marion (10/5): - First time staying here for the Malvern Show. I was given the top floor self catering flat and it was so comfortable. Just like a home from home. Even though it was self catering, I had bread, butter, milk, jam/marmalade/honey and orange juice in the fridge which was complimentary. Food in the pub in the evenings was lovely, tasty and hot.
Staff, landlady and landlord were so friendly and welcoming. The locals were engaging and friendly too. As a solo traveller I was well looked after and did not feel isolated at all.
Will definitely be booking again the next time I go to any of the shows.
Thank you all for a perfect stay xx
- Dawn (10/5): A fantastic find - The Wyche Inn was a fantastic find in Malvern- friendly and helpful owners, perfect accommodation for our needs and the food was generous and tasty. Lots of thoughtful detail in the top flat, everything you could need away from home. Thank you and hope to be back again.
- Diane (10/5): Great find. - Arrived and were able to check in an hour earlier, we were shown to our room, and windows had been opened to allow the heat to escape. Amazing views. Room very clean and everything you need, water great selection of teas and coffees, and more importantly a fan.
Great quirky pub to enjoy a drink and meal. Very friendly staff and other guests and locals very friendly. Great puppy cuddles with Angus a huge bonus. Would definitely stay again.
- Pauline (10/5): - You may think on first seeing it that’s just a pub, it’s great, and the owners are very welcoming and friendly, if we’re going to Malvern or the area again we would definitely book again.
- Raymond (6/5): - Room was very cold
- Adrian (8/5): Clean and comfortable pub stay - Very clean and comfortable room, excellent position for exploring Malvern and walking the hills.
Would happily stay again.
Great view across the plain.
- gail (10/5): - Lovely food, wonderful views, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable flat. what more could you want for a short break, will be back very soon.
- Anthony (8/5): - Fantastic views and very welcoming staff
Home made steak pie was lovely
- Chris (10/5): - You have to try Tony's Malteser cheesecake and Steph's muesli fantastic.
- Maureen (10/5): - Really lovely proper country inn, welcoming friendly staff, spotlessly clean room with amazing views. Fabulous breakfast set us up for the day and then an excellent menu for dinner, the sea bass was delicious! Great location for walking and easy access to the town of Great Malvern.
Steph and Tony run a lovely place, their attention to detail is for them to be proud of, we hope to return next year!
- Wendy (10/5): - everything was good
- Matt (4/5): - No hot water for a shower. No staff to assist. Next morning we got an free room to shower in...simple apology. Feel not worth it and dissapointed.
- Moira (10/5): Room with a View - Lovely break at Wyche Inn. Nice pub type feel with excellent accommodation. Rooms were spotless and hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Views from the bedroom was spectacular and location perfect for Malvern Hills.
Already booked for next visit
- James (10/5): - Loved our one night at the Wyche Inn. Very friendly welcome, extremely clean and convenient room and good value. Would definitely stay again.
- Ellen (10/5): Wyche Inn - accomodation was excellent, real value for money. Hosts superb. Breakfast worth every penny
- Dave (10/5): - Lovely views across Severn valley from our room. Very friendly staff. Satisfying breakfast and good pub food at dinner time. Lovely hill walking from the door.
- M (10/5): Real hidden gem - Excellent hosts, very clean and comfortable rooms with exceptional views. Breakfast was superb, 10/10
- Lord (6/5): - The Wyche Inn is a comfortable and quiet pub/restaurant. The breakfast was good, but as we did not eat an evening meal it is not possible to comment about the food in general.
There was an issue with our room on arrival that was quickly dealt with.
- Sally (10/5): - Lovely hotel
- Gillian (10/5): Warm welcome with stunning views. - A great one night stay at this very friendly and well run pub. The location is brilliant for walking on The Malverns. You can park your car and walk straight up on to the hills. We had fabulous weather and could really enjoy the stunning view from the little patio garden and from our bedroom. We had a wholesome evening meal, and the real ales were enjoyed by the beer drinkers in the group. We also had fun listening to the jukebox and picking out some old favourites.
Breakfast was excellent, with freshly prepared fruit salad, and even greek yogurt (fat free bonus for anyone trying to be good). Full english was great, really well cooked with good quality ingredients.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable, with generous tea and coffee making facilities. There were small details which I really appreciated, like 2 mugs, and 2 cups and saucers. Lots of different teabags, hot chocolate, plenty of milk and biscuits. And of course there was the view ... it was stunning.
I would definitely stay here again.
My photos are not of the pub, you can see plenty of those on this site. They are from the walk we took directly from the pub straight after breakfast, without having to drive anywhere.
- Rhydian (8/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you.
- Andrew (10/5): Great pub with great views - Owners and staff made us feel very welcome.
Stayed for 2 nights and food was good so are in bar both evenings.
Breakfast also good.
Plenty of tea/coffee etc in room.
Also shower gel, shampoo & conditioner supplied so can travel light.
Views from room & bar are fantastic.
Good well kept real ale and cider with knowledgeable staff.
Good value all round.
- Linda (10/5): Fantastic dog friendly bed and breakfast - I Love this hotel
Pleasant staff
Excellent food
Great for dogs
So many lovely walks nearby
Great value for money
- Matt (10/5): - My partner and I stayed here as we were going to the Malvern Flea Market at Three Counties Showground early th following morning and it was the perfect location, just 6 mins down the road. The pub was welcoming, staff friendly and the food was excellent. The roast pork was one of the tastiest roasts I've had for a long time! Nice selection of beers too. It wasn't very busy when we went, so it was nice and chilled. The view from the pub and our room was spectacular, especially the sunrise in the morning. The room was clean, had all the amenities you need, and I especially noticed the large amount of milk they had given, which has always been a bug bear of mine as who only drink two cups of tea/coffee during their entire stay!? What I also liked was that access to the rooms was via the pub or a separate outside door, which was handy as we had to leave at 6.45am. Even the pub dog Sharp was a real character! We'll definitely be staying here again next time we're up for the antiques fair. Highly recommended for a good old fashioned welcome, hearty pub grub, amazing views and comfortable accommodation.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 1 night stay in the Malvern Hills - Great stay, fantastic location with great views from our room, very close to access the walks to the Malvern Hills. Room was big, comfy bed, very clean. Hosts were great. Had a meal in the pub which was lovely, breakfast delicious.
- Robert (10/5): Great food and drinks. Friendly hosts & staff - With great views over the Malvern hills the view from our bedroom window was amazing. The room was quite cold when we arrived, but it soon heated up when I opened the radiator valve and turned on the fan heater briefly. The bathroom was adequate with a shower but a half size bath, so you wouldn’t be able to have a long soak after a walk. There is a good welcome pack in the room with details of walks and local taxis. There is also a good range of tea’s, hot chocolate and coffee provided in the room. We were a little worried when we first arrived as the pub exterior could do with a lick of paint and there wasn’t much of an atmosphere inside the pub. Saying that most people was sat outside on the patio enjoying the views. We decided to stay there that evening though and very glad we did as the goat curry we had was awesome. The food was good value for money too and it was quite lively in the evening. We also had a very good breakfast the next day. Don’t get me wrong this is no 5* hotel. It’s a very comfortable room in a pub that serves great food with friendly locals and staff. I won’t hesitate in re-booking the next time we go for a walk along the Malvern hills.
- Mr John (10/5): Great place - Very good food and beer, friendly staff, nice room and wonderful location
- Helen (10/5): - Lovely view, lovely people, lovely food and lovely that vegans were catered for.
- Nick (10/5): Well worth a visit - Very welcoming, well run, well maintained with attention to detail and attentive owners and staff. Good food, with breakfasts of exceptional quality. Beautiful setting with breath-taking views. All with the feel of a proper English pub. This was the second time we'd stayed and we'll be back again.
- Stephen (10/5): A great little Pub B&B near Malvern - A really good, friendly Pub style B&B with good food both in the evening and at breakfast, at a good value price. it also has amazing views!
- Kevin (10/5): - The views are outstanding! Definitely perfect for walkers and those enjoying hiking. It is difficult to park at times and the winding roads are a bit scary but it’s worth it we loved every moment.
- Raymond (10/5): Best steak and ale pie I've eaten for four years. - Everything was very easy and staff very pleasant. Only stopped one night but ate dinner and more than ample breakfast.
The view from bedroom two was stunning!
- Martin (10/5): Lovely Stay - We stayed overnight and found the Wyche Inn very welcoming and our accommodation excellent. The room was very well equipped and the views are to die for - assuming the clouds not down that is! The breakfast was very good and excellent value. Our hosts also made a big fuss of our dog and he even had his own sausage! Our only criticism is that for us the bed was too soft and any movement moved both of us.
- Lee (10/5): - Great stay at The Wyche Inn. Good food friendly staff and stunning views. We would not hesitate to return.
- James (10/5): Malvern treasure - What an absolutely fabulous find, central location in the Malvern hills, with views to match, perfect if your planning to walk the hills, clean comfortable rooms, lovely friendly atmosphere, great local ales and tasty home cooked food morning noon and night, couldn't have asked for more, dog friendly even though we didn't have one, cant thank steph and tony enough for a great couple of nights, highly recommended and will be returning
- peter (10/5): Great stay - Had a great 3 days. Located bang on the Malvern Wyche. Breakfasts were excellent. Dinners were excellent. The Worcestershire Blonde was superb ( thats a beer not a barmaid). The views from the bedroom fab. Only slight downside is that it is on the roadside but you get used to that quickly. All in all coping very well post covid and would definitely stay again.
- Billy (10/5): - Very nice experience. Enjoyed our stay.
- Louise (8/5): Nice and clean - Nice clean flat. Close to hills.
- Michelle (10/5): - Very friendly welcome, helpful and polite staff, overall experience was excellent.
- Stephen (10/5): Wyche Inn = Wonderful - We went for a dog walking break in the Malvern Hills and selected the top flat at the Wyche Inn based on the positive ratings, which were met. Excellent position with walks outside the door, fab view and really great food with a wide vegetarian choice. Steph happy to give advice on the local area. Loved our stay and would highly recommend. Make sure you walk the Pixie Path 😁
- Nick (10/5): All Good - Great spot with excellent views, good choice of food prepared to a decent standard and at reasonable prices, friendly service, some nice detail touches to the room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved its location and views. Enjoyed the relaxed bar with well served beer. Excellent evening meal and breakfast as expected having enjoyed lunch here on a previous occasion.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean plenty of space great food friendly staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - walking distance to two great scenic views.View from the bedroom is great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely location - Lovely location and good pub food. Flat was spacious and well furnished. Would go there again
- Rodney (10/5): Great view - Warn and comfortable with a great view.
- Alison (10/5): What a view ! - Scrupulously clean ; friendly pleasant service and excellent breakfast .
Amazing views from bedrooms ( when no mist that is ! )Great to have easy access to get on the ridge ( 5 mins ) for walking but need to bear in mind a good mile up hill from Great Malvern with round taxi fare if £15 or so . But
I’m very happy to recommend this establishment. Thanks ++
- jillian (8/5): Very good for the money. - This was our fifth hotel on a trip over ten days. Its a traditional, no frills pub which serves really good home made food. Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for the one night. Car parking was poor as there were limited off road spaces, and the road is quite busy. However the views from the pub are superb as jts very high up, if you walk a further ten minutes up the hill the views are spectacular.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly pub with outstanding views - Had a 2 night stay very friendly, good food thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Situated right at the foot of the Hill so easy walk up to top. Good food and excellent service
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hosts are friendly and obliging. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. Fresh milk, tea, coffee and condiments provided. The breakfast was excellent. The pub bar had four real ales.
- Daniel (10/5): Amazing staff - Friendly staff quick check in. Staff are amazing great food.
- P A (8/5): - Best location, with walks literally on the doorstep. Good pub food and beer at low prices. Friendly owners and staff. Only downside was the rock hard bed.
- Joanne (10/5): Very Good - Lovely hotel that made you feel right at home. We had breakfast and dinner and both were extremely good.
- Glenn (10/5): Exceptional service - Steph, Tony and their team at this beautiful Inn give exceptional service and it was a joy to stay there. I will definitely be going back soon. The food is extremely nice, and the atmosphere is the same as if you were at home. The staff made us more then welcome and we felt like locals. There was nothing too small that they would do for us. The view from our flat was amazing in the morning. Thank you and see you again soon.
- Rob (10/5): - Nice pub near the top of the Malvern hills. Our room was clean and comfortable. We ate in the pub, where food was very good and well priced. Our breakfast the next morning was excellent. Lastly, the owners and staff were friendly and attentive making it a very good stay in the area.
