• jeangH1904EN (10/5): Budget Host Cloverland - I have stayed at Budget Host before, so did not hesitate to book in Ironwood. Kevin was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was spotless and spacious. Everything worked. I was able to park right in front of my room. Well located and quiet. Kevin was a wonderful host. He was familiar with the area that I was traveling to and offered several suggestions. A great experience all around.
• elizabethcacich (10/5): Weekend Getaway - This is our second time staying here. The owners are wonderful and give plenty of recommendations. We will be staying there again the next time we return. One of the best recommendations we were given is to go to Mike's for breakfast. They have the best breakfast food and pancakes. Go. You won't be disappointed.

• LORIko58 (10/5): Clean, comfortable, convenient- great value for the cost - This older motel in Ironwood was a pleasant surprise! It was very clean, well-kept upcomfortable, and our room on the second floor at the end was roomy and bright. It's a little noisy as it's right on the highway and not fancy or plush , but it had all we needed. When we checked in, the host was very friendly and helpful. He recommended the Iron Nugget for dinner, and it was excellent! We drive across the UP every September, and will definitely make this our go-to stop at the western end of the UP. Great value for the reasonable price.

The room and bathroom were clean. The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. The beds were comfortable. It’s always nice to have access to a mini fridge in the room too. If ever back in the area, we would definitely Italy stay here again.

There were no plush towels or modern decor, but everything was clean and well maintained. We give this stay a two thumbs up!

The room was nice and we could park right in front of it so I'm loading the car unloading it up again was very easy so we even stayed an extra night.

The front desk attendant gave us a discount voucher to a local restaurant that he recommended for breakfast which was very good. The room was a bit dated but a good size with two queen beds and everything was clean and in good working order. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

We could hear the showers above us at 0430 in the morning when they got up and left. The worst part was the lack of water pressure in the shower, it really needs to be cleaned out.

I don’t like writing bad reviews but this place needs some major work. Maybe other rooms are ok but not mine, it was pretty bad.

We found the Budget Host and were very delighted with the room and hospitality of the owners! The room brought back memories of traveling in the past and was immaculately kept. The hosts readily provided suggestions for restaurants as well. Great place!
• Michael (8/5): Saxon fair 2025 - Beds were fine, Perfect for short stay, No dinning. Coffee in room, frig and Microwave. Clean or replace shower head is the only issue.

• jalee58 (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Small local motel right on the main drag US Hwy 2. This is and older property, but we'll maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable. The owner is very pleasant and helpful with things to do and options for dinner and breakfast. Speaking of which they do not have a free breakfast as do so many hotels do these days. But there are numerous breakfast options nearby. We brought some food with us so breakfast wasn't an issue. If you need ice you have to go to the office to get an ice bucket of ice. Definitely not the type of accommodations we would normally choose. But all in all, a great choice for a lot less than the name brand hotels in the area. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Don’t waste your hard earned money somewhere else. - The reservation process was extremely easy and when we arrived, we found a hospitable host with a big smile and a willingness to make our stay as good as possible. My wife is disabled and he made sure to reserve a room that was wheelchair friendly. He even provided portable ramps to help me wheel my wife into the room with no trouble. The room was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and towels. The room also included a refrigerator and coffee maker. I highly recommend this motel and will definitely be staying here whenever I come back to Ironwood to visit family.

The owners, Kevin and Sherri, are very nice and were able to accommodate our special request for our most recent stay. The motel is on the main street (U.S. 2) just as you enter Ironwood, VERY convenient. The rooms are clean and quiet. They have mini fridges, a microwave and a little coffee maker. Close to everything Ironwood has to offer! Mom and I both feel very safe when we stay here. That's why we come back!
• Jro576 (10/5): So close to Little Girls Point - Very nice owners, check in was smooth. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The hotel is located near everything you would need. Walmart, Walgreens, etc. it takes about 15 minutes to get to Little Girls Point from the hotel. I enjoy staying here

This place of rest is one of those now rarely found, family-owned establishments. Your hosts are not just staff, but the owners with a personal vestment in your experience at their wonderful establishment. The mini-frig and the heating were quiet so we slept well. Great that we could park just outside the door in the cold weather.

This is an older hotel but the owners clearly take good care of it. Friendly people at the desk helped us find good spots to eat and where to ride. I will definitely stay here again when I go to Ironwood.
