Not far on the bus from the Bahnhof - The bedroom on Floor 3 had a double and a single bed which were comfortable and the room was a good size for 3 people. Breakfast, which was continental, was plentiful (cereals, breads, cold meats, cheese, eggs, yoghurts, pastries, juices and tea/coffee) Maybe the bar area closing at 8pm. Also there was no lift.

- Reinhard (2/5): Freundliches Personal, jedoch ein insgesamt veralteter Gesamteindruck aus meiner pers. Sicht - Das Personal war während meines Aufenthalts sehr freundlich. Unabhängig davon machte das Hotel auf mich insgesamt jedoch einen deutlich in die Jahre gekommenen Eindruck. Teilweise wirkten Modernisierungen aus meiner persönlichen Wahrnehmung eher optischer Natur. Einige ältere Oberflächen und Materialien erschienen beispielsweise lediglich überarbeitet beziehungsweise überstrichen, wodurch der allgemeine Zustand trotz einzelner Anpassungen weiterhin veraltet wirkte. Auch die Parkplatzsituation empfand ich als schwierig. Die markierten Stellplätze erscheinen aus meiner persönlichen Sicht sehr knapp dimensioniert und meiner Meinung nach nur eingeschränkt mit heutigen Fahrzeuggrößen vereinbar. Mit meinem Kombi war ein komfortables Ein und Ausparken praktisch nicht möglich. Hinsichtlich des allgemeinen Sicherheits und Brandschutzeindrucks hatte ich persönlich ebenfalls gewisse Bedenken. Insbesondere die Wahrnehmung rund um Brandschutztüren, das Fluchttreppenhaus sowie die allgemeine Fluchtweg und Entrauchungssituation wirkten auf mich persönlich nicht vollständig zeitgemäß. Dies stellt ausdrücklich ausschließlich meinen subjektiven Eindruck als Gast dar und keine fachliche, technische oder behördliche Bewertung. Gerade bei älteren Beherbergungsbetrieben erscheint aus Sicht eines Gastes eine laufende Überprüfung und behutsame Weiterentwicklung sicherheitsrelevanter Bereiche unter Berücksichtigung heutiger technischer Entwicklungen sinnvoll. Sicherheits und Fluchtwegkonzepte tragen letztlich eine besondere Verantwortung gegenüber Gästen und Mitarbeitern und verdienen daher aus meiner persönlichen Sicht entsprechende Aufmerksamkeit!

Im Vergleich zu den Schweizer Preisen würde ich sagen, es war akzeptabel, aber für diesen Preis erwartet man eigentlich eine gewisse Auswahl und Menge. Es gab zwei Sorten Fruchtsaft, beide waren schnell leer und wurden nicht nachgefüllt. Außerdem gab es kaum Auswahl: nur etwa zwei Sorten Aufschnitt, gekochte Eier und ein paar Backwaren.Wir haben Milchkaffee bestellt, aber der war leider nicht gut. Ich würde nicht empfehlen, dass Gäste das Frühstück buchen, weil ich selbst mit gutem Willen nicht sagen kann, dass es sich lohnt. Im Badezimmer gab es einen seltsamen Geruch, und die Fugen waren schimmelig. Wir waren im April dort, unser Zimmer war im dritten Stock, und es gibt keinen Aufzug. Im ganzen Treppenhaus war es sehr warm, genauso wie im Zimmer. Ich würde nicht empfehlen, im Sommer dort zu buchen, da es sehr heiß wird und es nirgends eine Klimaanlage gibt.Das Parken hat von einem Nachmittag bis zum Check-out am nächsten Tag 12 CHF gekostet, und für den Hund wurden 20 CHF pro Nacht berechnet – das finde ich etwas teuer.Es könnte im Hotelzimmer eine Minibar (ein kleiner Kühlschrank) geben, wenn es schon keine Klimaanlage gibt.Für eine Nacht kann man dort übernachten, das ist noch in Ordnung. Es war das günstigste Hotel, das wir gefunden haben, aber für mehrere Tage würde es nicht passen.

Fussleisten fallen ab, Die Toilette bricht aus der Wand, weswegen man schräg drauf sitzt und in der Dusche sind die Fugen verschimmelt. Das Zimmer hat einen leichten nicht zuzuordnenden Geruch, der nicht schlimm ist, aber auch nicht normal sein sollte? Einfach alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Het lamp van de douche deed het niet goed. Die ging steeds uit. Na het tandenpoetsen moest ik het aan doen en elke 2 min ging het weer uit.

Pas de voilages pour la porte fenêtre de la chambre, obligé de tirer les rideaux occultants pour ne pas être vu de l'extérieur, portes de la douche qui ne fermaient pas complètement, avec moisissures dans les portes, problème d'électricité dans la salle de bains

Isolation phonique pas parfaite, mais peu de monde dans l'hôtel pendant notre séjour donc peu dérangeant pour nous. Petits déjeuners un peu cher pour ce qui est proposé. Buffet très peu fourni.

- Alisha (5/5): Practical but lacking finer details. - The location of the hotel is great! 1km into the city centre & bus stops right out the front. Received a “Lucerne Visitor Card” through Booking.com check in message, which enabled us to receive free transport within zone 10 (which was essentially everywhere we needed to go!) gentleman at front desk also printed out copy of bus routes to assist! Very helpful!! The classic triple room was spacious & had a door & window we could open for fresh air. The mattress was comfortable. Room advertised as sound proof but you can hear every foot step & voices from upstairs, hall way & stair case The electronic door into the room requires excessive force to lock when exiting as a simple push will open it back up again. The bathroom & shower itself is soooo small!!! You have to manoeuvre yourself to be able to close the door. Numerous times we knocked the flick mix in the shower (tap) & it either increased pressure that sends the shower head off the mount & sends water everywhere or turned it off altogether. There is only a flimsy shower curtain which is too long for the shower & blocks the drain but can’t afford to have it any other way, as again, you’ll get water everywhere. The room “features” specified coffee and tea making facilities and electric kettle in the room however these were not available as well as a fan, that not found either. There is the option of purchasing coffee downstairs as well as breakfast at Fr.18 per person!! “Continental & buffet” Which we did the first morning out of pure convenience however we were very disappointed in the selection available for that cost. Lastly, the reception closes at 6 pm therefore after hours access is through the back door, which also houses the large laundry trolley which at times obstructed a clear point of exit which is also alarming as this is the fire exit.

- Roy (1/5): I will not recommend Spatz hotel to anyone! The whole experience was terrible! - The location was ok, parking space was horrible! I felt very unsafe there! We were on the 3rd floor! NO ELEVATOR! We had to take our suitcases all the way up there. The lights were not working in the hallway we couldn’t even see where to place the key to open the door to our room! The morning receptionist was very rude when I went downstairs to let her know that myself and my husband will be down shortly for breakfast, she complained that I should have let her know sooner because she has to go make more coffee and get more bread, I was not getting it for free I had to pay $18.00 per person. I gave her the money then she began saying that she needed more notice, I told her that my daughter went down to the reception area at 8:30pm to let them know we were going to have breakfast in the morning but, the reception are was closed. Then she said yes we closed at 8:00pm , how were we supposed to know this! Who runs a business in this manner? Needless to say I took my money back and drove to Two Hands restaurant! The service was excellent and the food was delicious at Two Hands restaurant!
- yasin (10/5): Aksiyonla başladı, güzel bitti. - Kahvaltı almadık. Odamız oldukça geniş ve caddeye bakan oldukça büyük bir terası ile terasta da oturma grubu vardı. Tren garına 1,5 km uzaklıkta. Yürüyerek de gayet rahat bir şekilde ulaşılabiliyor. Odamız, havlularımız ve çarşaflarımız gayet temizdi. Check-in saat 20.00 de bitiyormuş. Geldiğimiz de maalesef recepsiyon ve otel kapıları kilitli ve kimselerde yoktu. Maalesef yarım saat odaya girmek için çabaladık. Telefon ile iletişime geçince, kapı şifresini ve oda anahtarının nereye bıraktıkları için mail atmışlar ancak bizim hatamız, maili kontrol etmediğimiz için yarım saat sıkıntı yaşadık. Maili açıp, baktıktan sonra giriş çıkışta problem yaşamadık. Ancak odamızın banyo ışığı temassızlık yaptığı için kendi kendine sönüyor ve tekrar yanmıyordu. Ertesi gün bunu resepsiyona iletmemize rağmen, gün içi düzeltilmemişti. Banyoyu telefon ışığı ile kullanabildik.

- Eliaa (9/5): Ci vediamo presto Lucerna! - Accoglienza e gentilezza dello staff. Posizione ottima vicino al centro e facile da raggiungere con fermate del bus davanti all' hotel. Consigliato! Nulla... soddisfatta!
- Arundeep (7/5): Good location, not the best prices or amenities. - The room was quite spacious and very clean. Windows opening up was an added bonus as we could let in fresh air. The towels, water pressure, amenities (soap, shampoo, hair dryer) was good too. Mattresses were fairly comfortable. Michelle at the front desk was extremely helpful as soon as we arrived. She made sure we understood our access and what we can do. She also printed out a qr code for bus tickets and free wifi in Lucerne which was a HUGE bonus. No elevator in the bldg but it was a very minor inconvenience...only when checking in and out with lots of luggage. The young lady from China too was very courteous. -Shower: Extremely small (3' X 3') incredibly tight space to shower. Plus the slider door had broken clips so it wouldn't shut all the way. Reported it to front desk but the guy said these are a common problem with these doors. -No locks on bathroom doors...what the heck. -No coffee maker in room....how pathetic. Their amenities section indicates a coffee area downstairs, but what they don't say is that you have to pay for coffee. -Charged parking....it is your building, and no other cars in the lot...why charge for every step of the way. At least provide a plug for hybrid cars. -Breakfast wasn't included...but the add on price was exorbitant CHF 18 for cereal and boiled eggs and yogurt....
- Lovro (8/5): Ugodan boravak u pristojnom hotelu - Boravak u hotelu ispunio je očekivanja. Bilo je lijepo i čisto, soba ima sve što je potrebno za ugodan boravak. Osoblje na recepciji bilo je vrlo ljubazno i pristupačno. Doručak je također bio pristojan, mali švedski stol, koji se nadopunjuje ako nešto nedostaje. Posebno bih pohvalio kruh, koji je bio preukusan. Lokacija je izvrsna, autobusna stanica je odmah ispred hotela, do centra Luzerna možete pješice doći za 15-20 minuta. Parkiranje oko hotela dostupno je uz dodatnu naknadu od 12 CHF po danu, međutim, jako je uzak i malen i iskreno ne razumijem kako su se automobili mogli parkirati bočno jer nam je auto virio na pola prolaza, pa smo morali parkirati na ravnom parkiralištu. Također, kava je bila jedna od najgorih koje sam ikad pio, pa bih savjetovao zaposlenicima da nauče kako se pravi kava :D Naša prijava bila je nakon 18:00 sati, kada je recepcija bila zatvorena, a u početnoj e-poruci je navedeno da ćemo dan prije dobiti upute za samostalnu prijavu, budući da recepcija u to vrijeme neće biti otvorena. Nažalost, nikada nisam primio e-mail, ali Booking mi je poslao detaljne upute o ulasku u smještaj preko njihove platforme. Ne znam bi li ih uopće dobio da im se prvi nisam javio. Booking mi je također poslao Luzerne Guest Card, koju moze poslužiti tokom boravka

The street outside is busy and loud, however. It is not the fault of the hotel but it is something that people should be prepared for if they are staying there. Also, the parking is very difficult to get into as the area around the property is very small. Overall, the hotel is as comfortable as it can be given the little space it’s got. They are doing very well with what they have, just know that the space is very tight and is located on a busy street. Noisy street, hard to park.

Hotel carísimo para lo que es…el día que llegamos hacía muchísimo calor en Lucerna, el hotel no tiene aire acondicionado, nos dejaron un par de ventiladores y uno de ellos ni siquiera funcionaba, la ducha estaba toda rota, al cerrar las puertas se cerraba una mitad y la otra se quedaba donde estaba quedando un espacio sin mampara. No merece la pena este hotel por el precio que tiene.
