Guest Reviews
- Stephanie (4/5): - This property is very out of date and in need of a lot of repairs and upgrades for sure. Felt it was not clean at all. Found tags etc in the drawers. Black mold in the bathroom as well. Ceiling falling apart in bathroom too.
- JAMES (6/5): - Good stay for the money.
- Sean (2/5): - Room was not clean . Shower was still dirty, with hair on the walls and the floor . Hot tub was not working . Shower did not work well at all.
- barbara (10/5): - Great stay
- Bianca (8/5): - Nice motel for wildwood. Nice location
- Vincent (8/5): - Very nice location, very good condition for price!
- James (6/5): - Okay
- Melanie (2/5): - Only bathroom outlet and one outlet in sleeping area worked. Hair dryer cord was split and taped, which seemed unsafe. Towels were very small and thin. Parking limited and vehicles ticketed if parking in non-designated spots. Several vehicles used motel parking spots. Lots of late night activity on deck area. Felt very unsafe.
- Victoria (2/5): Stay somewhere else - There is more bad than good with this place and with that being said you get what you pay for. If you need a bed and a bathroom for a night then this place is for you. If you want a place to stay for a few nights pick someplace else.
The only good things about this place is how close to the boardwalk it is and the pool. Oh and the beds aren’t that bad.
The towels are extremely small and thin so I recommend bringing bath towels. The floors are dirty so do not walk barefoot, thin walls, barely any outlets to charge devices, people playing music loudly until 3am. Yes I am aware it’s a beach/tourist town and I can stay in better places but this was a last minute trip and thought I was getting a deal. Boy was I wrong.
- george (10/5): - I loved how close they were to the boardwalk. You walk like 1 block & you're right there. The front desk was very friendly & accommodating also. It was a good stay!
- Kyle (4/5): - Location is ideal. Wall outlet missing cover. Bathroom fan broken. No lamp shade.
- Anthony (2/5): - The bathroom was supposed to be clean and inside the toilet was filthy. The dresser was falling apart the beds had double size mattresses on twin frames the towels were oversized hand towels . I would not stay at this place ever again
- Georgette (10/5): - We had an awesome time. Everyone was friendly.
- Giuseppe (8/5): - Close to boardwalk
- Christopher (6/5): - Poor wi-fi signal; housecleaning could have been a lot better; convenient walk to boardwalk.
- Paul (10/5): - great location .
- Dneisha (6/5): - Overall was not bad my kids enjoyed the pool and the walk to the boardwalk was not even a block I love that although the place is very outdated and needs some TLC I would return if I needed to
- Christopher (10/5): Great stay, location was fantastic! - Location is key here. Room was decent and the guy who ran the desk was great. The fact that it's a half block to the boardwalk and beach was fantastic. The pool was great too. Would recommend quarterdeck!
- winfred (10/5): - Was what I expected for the price. Clean, staff will do anything they can to help you right away. Close to everything. Hotel to boardwalk in a minute. Nice clean pool
- Anthony (10/5): - Great everything
- Angelique (10/5): - Loved my stay, the property is well maintained
- Judith (2/5): - I WENT OUT FOR THE NIGHT LEFT MY PURSE WICH HAD SOME THINGS IN IT I TOOK MY CARDS WITH ME WENT TOPACK IN THE MORNING NOTICE IT WAS GONE THE OWNER SAID HE ASKED THE HOUSEKEEPING AN SHE DIDN'T SEE IT I CALL BULL
- Patricia (6/5): - Over all was good .They need to clean the floor better . Was more sand in the floor than on the beach .
- James (8/5): - Little bit noisy when non guests are in the pool
- Cynthia (2/5): Horrible - Just horrible, not clean at all . Needs updating
- Skyler (6/5): - When we arrived and walked into the room the floor was soaking wet. Almost fell due to be so slippery as it’s all tile floor. The bathroom was a little old and rough. Hot water was affected by other guests. Couldn’t get a hot shower. We ended up leaving early when we found 2 roaches running across the table.
- Freddy (10/5): - The stay was great, no issues
- BJ (10/5): - Very quick and smooth
- Michael (10/5): - Great experience , 100% recommended , clean place, near board walk and shopping center , Amazing customer service .
- Miriam (6/5): - Not service
- Tyler (2/5): - Very uncomfortable feeling and staff was rude. The staff and management are only in it to take your money. The rooms and property were very dirty. The linens had a dirty haze in them and looked like they were 10 years old.
- Tina (10/5): - We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. This is a first for us, we usually stay in North Wildwood but wanted to try further down. We typically don't spend much time in our rooms but I have no complaints. It was a very hot week so it was very nice being so close to the boardwalk. Location was great and staff was accommodating.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Close to the beach - Close to the beach with a full size refrigerator, but it seems like it hasn’t been updated since it was built. I recommend bringing your own towels and storage for clothing as the ones provided were falling apart. They advertise free parking (1 car per unit), but several units did not follow this policy during our stay leaving us without a parking spot. Customer service is basically nonexistent. Extremely difficult to contact before and during our stay
- Francine (6/5): - There was a lack of cleaning inside the room, likes it just open for the season and did not have time to clean. The hairdryer and A/C has mold on it.
- howard (10/5): - Mickey worked with us to find the best room and made check-in a breeze. Other hotel patrons were friendly and respectful. Top notch location!
- Elaine (6/5): - Parking was always available and close to the boardwalk. Bath towels were paper thin and hard to come by. No headboards, very little interior lighting. Never cleaned our room. Our needs are minimal. We make our own beds, etc.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Wasn’t expecting much, but was a lot better than I was expecting. Location is great, workers were friendly and the housekeeper cleaned the room very well every day.
- Lacie (2/5): Love spiders and grim? Stay here! - When I arrived to check in I was told the person was out and would be back in 20 minutes. After waiting 20 minutes for the person to return he checked me in and seemed annoyed that he had to take the time to do so. When I got into the room it was sweltering hot! I needed a quick shower and when I went into the bathroom I was met with a GIGANTIC spider waiting for me. After killing it, it was too big to fit down the drain holes so I had to pick it up (with much toilet paper) and flush it down the toilet. The room smelled the entire duration to the point I used my own clothes on the pillow and around me to be able to sleep. The floor was filthy that I had to scrape off my feet before putting on my shoes or getting into bed. My last day there, as I was getting ready and lo and behold another spider arrived — this time I decided to grab my things and vacate leaving it for the next people to find.
- Jocelyn (8/5): - It is so close to the boardwalk. I like that it had a pool and hot tub. The room was fine; what you would expect for the price, so I was happy with it. The bathroom was a little yuck. Not necessarily dirty but old and stained in general. But again, for the price, I was happy. Front desk clerk was helpful and accommodating.
- Thomas (6/5): - Great location but old motel. Needs updating. Pool is clean and maintained. Hot tub newer. No breakfast or coffee. Bed was soft and pillows flat. Tile floor is new but rest is paint. Had old table lamps, loose outlets, old tv and phone on the wall. Bathroom was functiinal byt older. Staff was excellent other than i wa ted 2doubles and got a king.
- John (10/5): A Pleasant Stay. - This was my second visit here and it was a pleasure. What made it really nice was that they had a heated pool and a hot tub. Nice on a cooler day. I will stay there again. The office manager was very helpful.
- Trina (10/5): - It was basic accommodations but so close to the beach and boardwalk
- lauren (4/5): - Moldy rundown bathroom. Broken dresser drawers. Mildew smell in room. Tiny raggedy towels for showering. Shower water ran cold, then too hot, then cold. 1 block from boardwalk.
- christine (6/5): - holes in bathroom ceiling/very used "flat" bed pillows
- Dany (6/5): - The staff members are very professional, even though the property needs a lot of tlc. The location is perfect, one block from the boardwalk. There was a few sketchy clients while we were there, which made us feel a little unsafe. But overall, it was a good experience.
- John (10/5): - My stay was very enjoyable. The Jacuzzi was an added touch. The pool was warm, and the beach was only a half block away. The floors inside and out looked like brand-new granite stone. The hotel had a large sunroof as well.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - We like the convenience to the boardwalk and to the ocean. The property manager was really nice. He let us park on the property after we checked out. The cleaning people was nice and gave us extra towels and toilet paper. We didn’t want to leave.
- Shane (8/5): - The motel itself needs a lot of updating, but the staff was kind and accommodating, and it’s a great price for the location. Boardwalk/beach access is barely a block away. The pool and hot tub were nice. The room itself does need some renovating, but it is exactly as pictured and as expected, and I have no complaints
- ALICIA (10/5): - excellent location , the staff are wonderful and very helpful. The pool and hot tub were cleaned everyday, we were offered a room cleaning every day of our stay. The front desk manager responded immediately. We wanted to grill and he installed a new tank. Beds and sheets are very comfortable. Affordable as well
- Niraj (8/5): - Close to boardwalk
- Amber (8/5): - Loved the pool and hot tub!
- Robert (6/5): - It was closer to the beach in boardwalk
- Anthony (2/5): - Be very careful staying here. Prob the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve stayed in some ok places. This one takes the trophy for dirty. You’d be lucky if they changed sheets, it’s really that bad.
- Dan (8/5): - Great beach hotel close to the boards!
- George (10/5): Excellent room for the price - For the price, this hotel was great. Excellent location, good size room, small bathroom, but functional, nice pool and great hot tub.
- Sharon (6/5): - Could use a renovation. Also hot tub was not working properly. Convenient location.
- JIM (6/5): Getaway - Long time visitor to the Wildwoods, big fan of the Doo wop history. I have stayed in many places from a kid with my parents, my teenage years, nightclubs and party years, being a parent of my own kids, and now just a 54 year old fat guy visiting for a few days to see a friend's band play and relax with a long time friend. Never stayed at Quarterdeck before but knew people that did in the past. Definitely a classic motel blueprint and amenities and perfect location. If you want a cheap place and great location then I would recommend the Quarterdeck. Definitely needs many updates to interior of the rooms, beds, appliances, overall appearance of the rooms which seems to have been neglected. Other similar style motels that I have been to have obviously been well maintained over the years and updated, this one has not been. Not sure of how long the management has been in place so I will give them the benefit of the doubt but hopefully they have a plan to get better, if not, this place will be another one of the motels that signify Wildwood and it's history to close and more condos will be there instead.
- Travis (6/5): - I was there for a short 2-night stay. The room wasn't super, but no major problems either.
- Frederick (10/5): Worth it! - Check in was fairly simple and easy. Had an issue with the A/C not working but the staff fixed it within a few minutes of notifying them. The location is perfect, only a block to the boardwalk and right between both of the Morey's piers. The beds were comfortable and was quiet even being so close to the boardwalk.
- Sean (8/5): - Good price point
- marie (10/5): - ,
- Sathya (2/5): - Dirty. Fridge, microwave, lights.. nothign works. Bed is very very dirty
- Donna (2/5): No water in bathroom except leaking pipes - Unhabital
- Shannon (10/5): - Love the location it was a great time!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We got to this hotel and it was absolutely filthy. The smell inside the room was almost enough to turn your stomach. There was mold in the bathroom and around the air conditioner. Bugs in the un-plastic covered cups. We immediately found another hotel and requested a refund. Would be a nice place if it were taken care of but the room we got put in was disgusting.
- Donna (6/5): - The location was perfect right on top of the boardwalk almost. The staff was friendly. The only complaint I had was we Had to ask for the basics like toilet paper and towels. Make sure you bring tissues if you need them and your own soap and shampoo.
- George (10/5): Good room at an excellent price - The room was nice and a good size, especially for the price. The pool and hot tub were also good, but could have used a cleaning. Staff was fine. I would stay there again.
- Patrick (4/5): - I guess that for the price I paid compared to other properties in the area I shouldn't have expected more. The place looked OK from the outside but the room was DATED and dirty. The fridge and microwave were rusted. There were water stains in the drawers. The location near the boardwalk was perfect so that helped.
- Ashley (10/5): - It was nice and quiet
- Lisa (2/5): - The entire property was so filthy. It's old and really needs a little updating so it can be cleaned properly. The manager and girl taking care of the place were very nice. The pool and hot tub were also filthy. We were in a nook with NO view of anything and NO wifi. The place really needs help. I won't go back
- Avis (8/5): - I would stay again m family like it
- Glorisol (10/5): - Nice 😊 place to go and be walking distances to the beach 🏖 stores and restaurants Everyone very pleasant- we will definitely visit again
- Suzanne (2/5): - Extremely dirty looked like it wasn't cleaned in months, shower did not work, staff rude when asked to resolve issues. Never stay there absolutely disgusting. Health department and better business bureau will be contacted. Had to leave for our own safety. Place should be shutdown permanently for health risks. Pictures taken to be submitted. Requested full refund but no response.
- Michele (10/5): - Room was a nice size but the pillows were very cheap and dirty. The sheets looked clean but smelled used. The shower the first morning was cold. Only 2 options Hot or cold no in between.
Other than that, it’s a family friendly hotel. Pool is only 4.5 feet perfect for kids to swim. The roof top had a nice view of the beach. Loved being up there. Boardwalk 1 min away and in the middle of everything. I would come back to this hotel. Just bring my own pillows.
- Cheryl (6/5): - Needs some updating for bathroom ceiling and shower/tub.
Service was friendly. Quiet area.
- Richhi (4/5): - Never again. Air conditioner was loud. Lamp was broken. Sink had no stopper. Bed was uncomfortable. Totally overpriced for what you get.
- Daniel (10/5): - John and the staff were great perfect location
- Karimah (10/5): - The man working at the front desk was very nice. The staff was very nice also. The hot tub didn't look to clean but everything else was great. I will definitely book again.
- Tamika (2/5): - Not comfortable or clean at all sheet we’re dirty bathroom is horrible.
- Roy (4/5): - A bed in a room with a roof and a bathroom. That's it. Coffee maker, but no coffee to brew, or cups to put the coffee in. A full size refrigerator -- why? Sheets were stained. Housekeeping consisted of fastening a plastic bag of clean towels to the outside of our door. Overall, not appealing. I was considering a "3" rating, but I would consider, say, a Red Roof Inn "average," and this was not that good.
- Cody (10/5): - It was a good stay, refrigerator could be updated. There was one night people downstairs were blasting music between midnight and 4 am. Other than that, it was a great stay! Love the staff!!
- Miriam (4/5): - We could not walk around barefoot because the sand that was on the floor would stick to your feet . There was a bid gap in the door where you could almost see outside ..very noisy.
- Tina (8/5): good spot - not bad place for the money, close to everything
- michael (8/5): - We lived how close we were to the boardwalk and beach, the room was okay. A little disappointed that the hot tub was out of service. Also disappointed that some of the staff had a very loud party at 3am. Overall my wife and I had a pleasant stay.
- James (6/5): - It was a room - not much more. But close to boardwalk.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - Very convienient- so close to the boardwark. Property could use some updating. Hot tub was out of order.
- Jenn (6/5): - Very dated. No amenities-not even shampoo. Close to beach and boardwalk though
- Patricia (4/5): - I was very disappointed. Not clean. Needs to be updated our refrig was rusty inside, so much ice in there couldnt use the whole felt dirty. The towels we thing hard and dirty looking pool was really nice the guy running the place was nice..issues with lock. Cleaning girls seemed to want you to do there work .
- Tim (4/5): - Cracked walls, strong cleaning products smell, overpriced.
- frank (8/5): - Close to everything. Great parking. Hotel Internet was spotty.
- Mika (10/5): - Great location to all things good on the wildwood boardwalk
- Jessica (2/5): - We ran out of toilet paper the last day there with no one in the office to tell so we went to the store to buy more. Our trash wasn’t changed unless we put it outside to be taken. Our room wasn’t cleaned at all during the stay and it wasn’t because of a do not disturb sign because there wasn’t one. There were black human hairs in every folded towel we opened after a shower. A coffee pot but no coffee or tea. Unwrapped cups to use in the bathroom and near the ice buckets that didn’t have bags for when they were filled with ice.
Only upsides were the beds were pretty comfortable and the fridge was a good size. Staff was nice for check in and to smile pass in the hall walking to/from the room.
- Denise (10/5): - Pool closes too early.
- Naz (10/5): - Good time
- Justin (10/5): - This was such a nice place to stay for the weekend. Great beds, great service, so close to the boardwalk. I would highly recommend
- Thomas (10/5): - Great location, easy access too board walk, the beach ,and restaurants 👍
- Norman (10/5): Happy Trip - Thank you! - So, originally booked elsewhere, and was almost stuck, but ran into this "Better than" choice!!! Lucked out!! Plus this Motel was about $90 less expensive with a much better location!!! They were very accommodating for time coming in and leaving. Even let us keep our car parked there for the last day, hose off outside, and use the pool although it was well beyond checkout. Beds were comfortable!. Maid Service was friendly and provided whatever was asked for over and above! - so Staff and Service wise - Excellent!
The room was clean! And if you are not familiar with Wildwood, know that there will be sand everywhere when you come to stay! The pool was always warm and clean! so Cleanliness - Excellent!
Bed was comfortable, large refrigerator, A/C was fantastic (at times it was too cold!) Microwave was a little small, but since we pre-cooked and packed our breakfasts and 2 dinners, we were able to save a little pocket cash from going out to eat every night!
Not even 1 1/2 blocks from the Boardwalk in the center of everything! Not too far from the Nightlife in North Wildwood, (7 minutes by car), Dunkin Donuts right at the Boardwalk entrance, Next to Dunkin is another Breakfast place that has a line of people for breakfast! A WaWa (Convenience Store) about 3 blocks up, and the best Buffet Breakfast (Have Dinner too!) in Wildwood ( Red Oak Restaurant) only 2 blocks away. - So Location? - Excellent!!!
When the Sundeck and the Hot Tub get working will be even better! Happy Trip!
- David (4/5): - This place advertises as having a hot tub with beautiful fake palm trees in the back…you arrive to a hot tub that has been closed for years and all of the leaves on the fake palm trees have fallen off. The top deck where you are supposed to relax is also completely closed with no access.
- John (2/5): - Dirtiest and most outdated hotel ever stayed at.
- Sandra (2/5): - The room smelled like a wet dirty towel.
Our deadbolt did not work.
The refrigerator is from another era, and in need of defrosting. Yes, defrosting, it is that old, and rusty.
The room lighting is dim.
Hangers and towels must have been delayed by the supply chain slowdown.
The tv worked for an hour, and then the picture froze, then the sound went as well.
The sun deck is closed.
The hot tub is closed.
The pool decorations (palm tree lamps) are rotted out.
The railings are rusty.
This place is in serious need of repairs.
