- Hannah (10/5): Cozy stay in a beautiful location accessible to adventure - Cabin was cute and very cozy! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, and the decorations felt very thoughtful and cute. We really appreciated the maps and signage and it felt like Lake Front Cabins is truly tended and kept by people who care. The location was perfect, and the setup with the communal closet made it easy for us to get any extra resources we needed. We made great use of the towels and DVDs. We could have used more blankets. 3 out of 4 of us got cold in the night. And the couch bed was very springy.. new mattress update would be great. That being said, we thought it was a 2 bedroom cabin when we booked, so it was a surprise that some of us had to stay on the couch. I think being a little more clear that the cabin is not only a 2-4 sleeper, but has 1 bedroom, 1 pull-out bed, would have set our expectations differently and we actually would have booked a larger cabin.

The pullout sofa bed was just as uncomfortable as the bedroom bed. The shower was super tiny. Felt like I was getting water boarded since there was no room to move around. Had to step outside the shower just to shave legs.

Plenty of parking and across the street from the marina. Inside of cabin was much nicer than the outside would make you think. Super clean. Great sheets and bath towels. Very responsive to all questions. Community area was nice! Overall it was a great stay.
- Daniel (8/5): - I actually loved the cabin... it was quaint, clean, comfortable and included many of the comforts of home, especially in the kitchen. Fortunately, the 2 days I was there, the temperature was very mild. Cabin does not have AC, so beware if the day is hot. The only negative was the very small, cramped bathroom- I was traveling solo, so not that big of a deal, but, I am not a large person, 5'8", 170 lbs, but was banging my knees and elbows in the tiny shower space. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and that was a plus. Overall, I really loved the cabin and would come back...

- Andrew Terentyev (3/5): AirBnB, "family oriented" but impossible for children to bathe here. - 1. Very clean 2. Pack & plays, boardgames, etc. for kids. 3. Parking spaces directly in front of each unit's door. Really feel like I paid 2-3x what would be fair for a place like this. 1. Not "cabins" on a "lake", but rather some apartments encirling a courtyard & parking lot similar to a motel. There's a marina nearby and with just the right framing you can make it look like it's near water. 2. It's an AirBNB, it's "100% Contactless" and you self-serve with nobody around to help and you being expected to, for instance, take out your own trash. 3. IMPOSSIBLE to wash a child in the shower - not exaggerating when I say it's the least child-friendly shower I've come across in years of traveling with kids. It's a tiny stall with a showerhead that will not swivel low enough to hit anything below ~4 feet high. This would be fine if this were a motel, but this is advertised as Family-friendly, very clearly has children in mind, so you'd think this would be considered. I texted them asking if they had a handheld shower head and they were pretty affirmative about there nothing to be done about it. With many reviews mentioning staying with children and having difficulties bathing them, and given the response it's clear owners do not care.

- Matthew (4/5): - Unbelievably small. Kitchen has no stove, but has two burners you have to reach around the fridge to access. Bathroom was crazy small, shower was as big as an old phone booth. Had to walk sideways just to get through the “hall” leading to the bedroom. My son and I made due, just way overpriced for what it was. My friend stayed for the same price a block away and his place was awesome compared to this. Not for skiing trip, maybe for one person fishing.

Our unit was stocked well with the essential supplies in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Location is great! Short walk to good restaurants, general store and June Lake Brewery. We also enjoyed the fire pits. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Very clean and they were honest up front their wifi wasn't the best (not that I cared) and it's so close to the lake. stellar value, clean cute perfect spot for my home base camp while traveling alone Nothing at all! Less expensive than others in the area but wouldn't call it a bargain in absolute terms. Good location. Cramped little suites in a block brick building that probably dates from 80 or 90 years ago. They did a pretty good job of making the best of it but you can only do so much.

The water press is fantastic but awkward in such a small shower - especially for short people. But despite that, we’ll continue to stay because the cabins are always clean and the location is walking distance to the shops and brewery. You’ll enjoy your stay!

Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was not great. They insisted on performing maintenance during our stay, and despite us clearly saying we didn't want it, they tried to pressure us into allowing it. With improvements in both cleanliness and staff communication, this place could be much more enjoyable.

- Sidney (8/5): Lovely cabins, prime location, great rates! - Absolutely perfect location. Could walk right down to the marina and also close enough to the main road through town. My family loved the cute hang out area and grill available. The cabin itself was adorable and as the mom who has to cook, I was very pleased that the pans were actually good quality. There were games available in their self help supply room and my girls loved being able to try games that we don’t have at home. The staff I seen were very friendly and whoever texted to let us know the code had great customer service. They were able to accommodate an early check in on a busy week and were very courteous in all communications. Will definitely be booking here again. The cabin was clean and cozy. There were a couple cobwebs in the corners, but who knows when they appeared since we kept the windows open to enjoy the fresh air and cool it off.

We really enjoy these vintage boutique cabins. - i love the cleanliness. the fresh cute updated decor, the supplied cooking appliances. the complimentary coffee and toiletries. the supply closet offering movies, books, other complimentary offerings to enhance your stay. the fans, air purifier. the pull out sofa. the outdoor fire pit area with view of the lake. the sweet little garden areas and picnic tables. the location just across the lake and a short walk to great little restaurants, coffee/wine shops and brewery. close to mammoth and hot springs away from the hustle and bustle of downtown mammoth. the tiny shower, shower head had too big of a spray. hard to keep water from spraying outside of the shower onto the over the floor. didn’t like that you couldn’t open the bathroom window because the building next stores deck could see inside. i suggest hanging a plant or something outside window for privacy and installing a vent/ceiling fan.

They had spices/seasoning, cutlery, pans, toaster, microwave, coffee machine(sweetener,filters, etc.) Felt like a small cozy home and it made it so easy that we didn’t have to bring all the things.
