The room was spotless With comfortable beds and pillows that were not too big as other hotels have supplied. There was a great rooftop bar/ restaurant that served great food as well. I have stayed here many times and will continue to stay here.
Top notched for sure!
- zawo909 (10/5): Pleasant stay at Hotel Parami in Yangon - I stayed in Parami hotel on and off for past 2 years as I am working here in Yangon. Most of time I stay in Premier Suite, which is spacious, clean and very comfortable king size bed with big flat screen TV. The rooftop bar with swimming pool is very nice view especially at night. Me and my colleagues gathered there quite often for dinner. I feel like home staying in Hotel Parami because of friendly and helpful staffs and amenities. I do highly recommend either solo or family.

- TopGun228R (10/5): Nice hotel to stay in Yangon - Best hotel to stayed. Staff is very attentive and response very fast to your request. I had issue with wifi at my room and they immediately install the wifi extender in the room to increase the signal. Nice accommodation and food is good especially breakfast time.
- stuartmF9429EQ (10/5): One of the best hotels I've stayed in - I've stayed in Parami Hotel from when I first started travelling to Myanmar in 2016. The reason I continue to stay there is because it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always smiling, the rooms clean and comfortable and it was ideally located for the work I was doing.
Highly recommended!!
- janfredrikp2021 (10/5): I am happy once take a dinner on roof top with friends. - Staying at Parami Hotel very comfortable. All staff hotel good hospitality and helpfull

- G2569UXjohnd (10/5): Business Visit January 23 - Having being my first time in Yangon, Myanmar, I took the hotel Parami under recommendation as my base for my stay.
I was not disappointed, the staff are a credit to the hotel. Very friendly and accommodating for any help/direction that may be required during your stay.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable and for leisure activities, there is a well equipped gym and excellent pool facilities on the top floor.
Thoroughly recommend using this as hotel of choice for this area of town. I myself will be back to stay at the hotel again on my next business trip.
- andash007 (10/5): World Cup Final - Wow it was amazing to watch World Cup Final in big screen on roof top. The staff are amiable and stay was great. They arranged travel and guided me to go to safe and famous places for tourism. This hotel is highly recommended.
- THANDAR (8/5): Clean and Comfortable - We stayed in Premier Suite. Room was spacious and clean. Three miles away from Yangon Int'l Airport. There are some restaurants in walking distance. This hotel is located in one of Yangon's residential areas. We enjoyed one night stay here.
- DudleyNomad (4/5): No services available, let down by poor cleaning - The reader needs to take into consideration that on the date of my stay, Covid is still very much an issue and there's also a Military coup and many protests. There's no moaning going on here, just a write-up of my experience.
My stay was in a premier room and I hoped to enjoy a relaxing day and night. The room I was allocated (710) had a high window and no balcony. What was very disappointing was the lack of a balcony but also the chairs in the room were dirty and had multiple large stains, I definitely didn't want to sit on them.
However a quick call to reception and the concierge immediately moved me to a room (713) across the corridor which had a balcony and a much more welcoming decor and this time the chair was clean.
The bathroom had excellent waster pressure and instant heat but the sink just would not hold water with the plug fully pressed in.
I made my way to the 9th floor to the bar, but couldn't enter the area - it was locked. The pool was also at this level but could see a sign saying hotel guests had to pay $10 USD to use it which really surprised me, but again I couldn't use it because it was locked.
I went to reception to ask why the bar was locked and the concierge replied there's no staff available (Covid and coup). I returned to my room thinking I'll try the Spa, but again due to the other issues, no staff. I then tried to call room service for food - you guessed it, no staff therefore no food or drink, but I got a knock on my door about 10 mins later and a member of staff gave me four slices of white bread, 2 small portions of butter, an apple, and 3 sachets of sugar (better than a kick in the teeth and I was grateful as by this stage I was quite hungry).
So, I'm in a hotel with all these services but none are operating. The wifi is free but very slow (average 100kb) and I think I was the only guest in the entire hotel.
Concierge told me there was a G&G shop (sort of like a 7/11) literally around the corner from the hotel so I picked up a few beers and a small sweet bun). There's also a KBZ ATM right outside on the Hotel's premises but it was out of order. It's at this stage I discovered the in-room fridge was almost as shallow as a Trump supporter and I couldn't fit more than one beer deep.
Still, the complimentary water was available which I accidentally spilled a little and cleaned up, to find the tissue was almost blackened from the dirt from the floor and a quick look at the bottom of my feet confirmed they were filthy. Considering I had a shower just earlier I knew that my room's floor was the culprit.
Despite all these minor grievances, the room was comfortable and I felt quite happy in it, the bathroom overall was excellent and I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't make use of the tub as it's been well over a year since I've had a proper soak. Having a cigarette on the balcony was relaxing with a great view. The two members of staff I saw (one very briefly bringing food to the room) were excellent, well mannered and professional - I couldn't fault them and they were a pleasure to deal with.
The thing that really niggles me, is at no point in the hotel's advertising is it stated that services are disrupted or in my case, totally non-existent, yet this is not reflected in the room price (all in about $75 USD). When I originally tried to call the hotel following my booking online for confirmation, no one picked up on the two occasions I tried (10 mins apart) as I would have tried to book my spa treatment and would possibly have discovered the other issues.
So to summarise, what could have been a relaxing evening was basically just spent locked in a room. I'd stay here again, I'm not a moaner, just be aware if you're booking this hotel, ask if the services are available if you plan to use them, but I think the hotel management needs to rethink their policy of not having anyone attend the bar and/ or changing their room pricing to take this into consideration.
- ros5657 (8/5): Stay at Parami Hotel - We booked 3 rooms from 20/2/2020 - 24/2/2020. Rooms were spacious and clean. The reception desk personnel were friendly and polite and they speak good English. They were helpful when we asked them for travel and food info and they helped book our taxis. The buffet breakfast had a big spread ranging from local to western dishes. Some of the food were changed daily. The food was delicious and the waiters took our orders for eggs and serviettes graciously.
Altogether, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay!
- jamesP7275GB (8/5): Hotel Parami - I checked in on the 11th Feb amd checked out on the 18th Feb. It's my 5th time staying at this hotel. Staff members are friendly and helpful. That applies to all staff members. Over the years I've seen staff come and go. Some of the old staff still remains. Roof top bar is still the place to chill.
I understand that English is a second language but some staff still need to try to speak.
Thank you
- QIGONG12 (8/5): Anthony Chew - Hotel Parami is a very good hotel, clean and nice room. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful especially the manager, Mr. Kyaw has helped me to resolve 1 important task. I strongly recommend my friends and business associates to stay in this hotel whenever they come to Yangon.
- n0ppasits (10/5): Very good hotel in Yangon - I always choose this hotel when I come to Yangon. It's very comfortable with a good service. Their English also very well so I have to recommend to everyone who finding the good hotel to travel or do business in Yangon,
- SamartHeemma (10/5): Good service of Hotel Parami - This is my third time of stay in here,I really satisfied of everything in here. They all are very warmly welcome and familier, last time my friend lost his phone and the receptionist Norene and Sabal helped to find the phone with their truely mind They are so helpful.Housekeeping staffs are also dutiful my room is always need and tidy and also breakfast is a must try one.
- tushitaa2020 (8/5): Solo trip to Yangom - This was my first visit to Myanmar, and Yangon seemed to be a beautiful place for my visit.
I stayed in Hotel Parami, and the service was amazing, along with food.
People are so helping and warm in this hotel and me being new to this country, helped me at every instant. Definately when i am here next time, this is the place I am going to stay. Must stay for all.
- Ank2011 (10/5): Nice and Luxurious place - Well I am staying here for almost 3.5 months now. Hotel is nice, rooms are good, the Staff right from Reception , Housekeeping, Cafeteria all are very nice and friendly. Food is good. Location wise place is good. Gym is pretty nice, not big but have everything for a basic workout.
- kei_kwsk (8/5): Good Hotel - Location, Room, Breakfast, is good. But sometimes wifi can't connect. And door and wall soundproof is not enough. We can hear people talking on corridor and bell ringing. I will not recommend for couples.
- ericsO9982JG (4/5): Every Nice Except.. - Location, room, restaurant are very good. Location close to airport makes it good for overnight stay. Room clean well appointed. A/C works well. Water pressure great.
The exception is management or ownership totally neglects the pool area. The one and only pool ladder is broken, windows are filthy, plasterboard deteriorating, cushions in bar unclean. If you wish to enjoy the rooftop pool area there is ONE umbrella and 3 lounge reclining chairs..without cushions.
I asked for an umbrella and they only had one being used. So if you do not want to use pool area...hotel is good. If you want a pool and lounge area stay elsewhere.
- 886myrnag (8/5): Accomodating - Stayed here few times, the service has always been consistently very good from the Front Desk, concierge, room service, and house keeping. Their collective efforts make my stay comfortable Many thanks for accommodating my request for late check out... kudos.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It is not clean enough.
Breakfast was so so.
Btw, staff was ok.
- Wojciech (10/5): Polecam - Bardzo dobry hotel, pyszne jedzenie i drinka.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Parami is a great place to stay. The staffs did everything to make our stay comfortable ...Although We find it hard at times to communicate what we want because of the language barrier i will definitely recommend it to friends and family ....👍👍
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good staffs, good room space and clean, good breakfast. I definitely will stay again for next.
- Keonsoo (10/5): Nice hotel - Very kind. Large. Excellent breakfast. A little bit dirty. No smell. Good.
- Sarah (8/5): Pretty Good with Minor Issues - The hotel was nice and had a good view from my balcony, but the wifi didn't work each night. And when I went up to the rooftop pool, it wasn't set up. I had to pull out my own pool chair to lay out on. It looked as if it was closed even though it was actually open, which was just a bit odd.
- masanori (2/5): 臭い - 排水管の匂いが
耐えられない
スタッフは感じが良い
- LucDB1967 (10/5): Excellent hotel - Room was great, price/quality was superb, extraordinary staff, excellent breakfast, great pool. The manager granted me a late checkout without any extra costs. If I go back to Yangon I will book this hotel again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staffs are very friendly but a bit of communications barrier.
- Okabe (10/5): - 値段の割にはとても綺麗で、新しい事もあり水回りが気持ち良かった。で歩くのには、ちょっと不便かもしれませんが。
とてもきにいったので、次回も利用したいです。
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel and great service! - Hotel experience was great! Service was timely and readily available. The rooftop bar, although called a Piano Bar, has no piano. But it has a nice feel to it.
The spa is really great for its price. Ended up getting quite pampered going to the spa often with my husband. Warning to some, the traditional Myanmar massage is not for everyone as it requires some degree of flexibility.
Complementary breakfast buffet was always great with a good variety in foods. Also had an omelet station to have one made for you.
Location is also quite good since it is near the airport but not so close that you get stuck in the local traffic.
- alan (10/5): Praise where praise is due - Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Choice of food both at breakfast and at dinner is excellent.
Room was clean with good amenities and fast Wi-fi connection.
This was first time of staying at the hotel but based on this experience, I will certainly make this my first choice for future visits
- marlonc411 (8/5): A Pleasurable Stay - We had a great time enjoying our anniversary celebration. We had a good panoramic view at the rooftop. We enjoyed a noise-free and peaceable rest toward the night after having our dinner. The internet connection is good and accessible for 2 to 3 devices inside the room.
Last but not the least, we had a great buffet breakfast. Looking to be back again next year as our schedule will allow.
- Pui Ling Sandy (10/5): Will definitely stay again :) - Room is very clean and spacious.
Staffs are nice and helpful.
1 mins from hotel to convenience store.
Italian, Korean. Western, Thai restaurant within 10 mins walking distance
- Verified traveler (8/5): 常宿に決定 - スタッフの方の対応が非常によく、部屋やホテル全体は良かったです。贅沢言えば、お湯がもう少し安定して出ると最高です。
- Shanna (6/5): - The condition of the room and its amenities are quite good. I was satisfied with my stay until there was an unpleasant incident happened when I check out. When I check out, I was being asked if I use the mini bar (some chargeable snacks and drinks) and I told them that I did not use any. After a while, when I was waiting taxi in the lobby, a staff came to me and passed me a bill that charged me on a tin of potato chips. I was shocked as I never touch on any mini bar items in the room! Not even a touch!! While waiting for their check, my taxi arrived and I actually rushing to airport but they refuse to let me go :( After checking, they get the potato chips to the reception counter. The tin looked brand new with lid but the seal inside was broken after open the lid. I was speechless and no time to argue with them due to rushing to airport. Because of this, I paid them 3USD for the little tin of potato chips which is not opened by me, what a bad luck. I am not sure how could this happened but I hope they can improve by making sure no broken packaging item is served in room and perhaps educate their cleaner/room service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location to stay in overnight on our transit back home. Amazing rooftop with nice bar. Food was good. They’ve got an in house spa, which is lovely, but I paid for an hour massage and only got 45 minutes. The masseuse felt like she was in a bit of a rush the whole time and was talking to her colleague in the next room.
- jane (10/5): excellent all round hotel - Fantastic hotel, and service. Breakfast was a huge variety and great coffee, staff are very attentive and helpful, and beds are very comfortable with large rooms. Pool is long enough to fitness swim in and clean.
- Kin Choy (8/5): - Nice stay, nice sky bar
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was very nice. they helped to book driver and car to travel to another city. Very helpful and good at communication.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Short and sweet stay - I had a very pleasant night/morning at the Hotel Parami. The room was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool/Piano Bar was a great place to relax and take-in the views, especially at happy hour. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had as far as selection and quality goes (despite the pancakes that I had being a bit rubbery). It's also in a decent area: near the lake and a short ride to the airport.
- Anne Berit (10/5): Fantastic experience - It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel, cause everything was just perfect. The room, the buffet breakfast was fantastic. The only negative to say was that WiFi in the rom was a bit slow. Other than that an unforgettable experience
- PRAVEEN KUMAR (10/5): Amazing - Perfect location and excellent service. Just wi fi gave some problems sometimes.
- Keven (8/5): Weekend in Yangon - I had a great long weekend at Hotel Parami. The hotel has easy access from the Airport and its really easy to get a taxi to the sights of Yangon. I really like the roof top pool and bar, some good views, food and relaxing plus good working wifi. Breakfast was great with a large choice, western and Asian. My room was comfortable and kept clean by some great staff. Overall a good value for money hotel.
- Prof Yu PhD Med (6/5): Nice hotel in a busy and crowded area - Clean and hospitable in general. But not convenient to get to city center, and some staff speak funny English. Also, rooms not mopped, so floor a bit dusty.
Price is high for such a hotel.
Why one price for foreigners and another for local -- up to 40% lower?
- David (8/5): - Enjoyable stay, clean and quiet. Location was convenient though nothing special. Staff helpful and hospitable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable and functional hotel for work and play - A pleasant and comfortable stay. Location is only 15 mins away from airport. The roof top Piano bar is a great place to chill out in the evening. It also comes with a swimming pool.
- Mark (10/5): Rooftop pool! - Very friendly staff. Only 6000kyat from the airport and 4000 into the centre by taxi. All the staff are really friendly. Hotel and room are immaculate. Great choice of food at breakfast, both western and local.
There is a rooftop swimming pool with amazing views of the whole city. Between 5 and 8 there is a happy hour every day where draught beer, wine and some cocktails are 2 for 1. Amazing to watch the sunsets.
WiFi was fast enough for our needs and available in all areas including our room.
- Nicholas (6/5): - The front desk required that I forward my confirmation email from Hotels.com in order to check me in, which was quite inconvenient.
- Anurag (6/5): Business hotel, basic - Great breakfast and comfortable bed.
Lot of street noise in room, curtain shades don't work and staff won't even get your luggage to the room. It's self service :-(
- Kin Choy (8/5): - Great staff, will be back
- Julie (6/5): Connected to the main road and easy to get taxi - Overall is ok, not too expensive, clean, wifi is good connectivity, lot of breakfast, convenient, staffs are very helpful. Would recomment friends to stay at this hotel. No chance to visit rooftop bar.
- Subathra (10/5): Comfortable stay - Enjoyed my stay at parami hotel. Buffet breakfast spread was great for the 4 nights we stayed in the hotel. Housekeeping walks by every room to check if guests need additional supply of toiletries etc. A pity, the swimming pool closes when the sky bar opens at around 7. Food at sky bar is good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay, reasonably priced.....................
- Veerappan (8/5): Good hotel, but comparably higher room rates - I stayed 4 nights in June 2016. Clean and spacious rooms. No carpets in the room. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of local, western and Indian dishes. In general, the restaurant menu was good and affordable. The rooftop Piano Bar was an useful amenity to have in this hotel. Not many eating/shopping options nearby. The location is somewhere midway between airport and downtown. The room rate was a bit higher when compared to hotels with similar facilities.
- Mr Shailesh (6/5): Good and Comfortable Stay - Overall the experience was good. Disappointed with breakfast selection and dinner menu. Very limited options available
- Verified traveler (6/5): reasonable hotel - I don't personally think it has 4star hotel quality but compare with the price of the room and quality, i find it reasonable.
- Ramon (6/5): Underwhelmed - I only stay d one night I my way through to ,Bagan.
I arrange a car to pick me up through the hotel, a bit exspensive at $35 usd a taxi would've cost only 5 or 6 usd. The hotel was ok the rooms a good size but felt they were finished cheaply and my. Bed was not that comfortable.
I would suggest carrying cash and not rely on cards. The he card machine kept icing out before it connected so I couldn't pay by card then I offered cash and they asked for usd so I had enough usd but because two 20 dollar notes had marks on them they wouldn't take them?? Check out was a rather painful experience. Although expensive I had arranged the car again to the airport the same porter came with me again and took me to check in and helped me get my ticket. He was great.
- Louise (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - This was an overnight stay and I wanted somewhere close to airport, reasonable price and amenities - This hotel had it all ...
Great room - wonderful buffet breakfast - Spa - which I did 2hrs worth of treatments - great infinity pool. Nice 'bar' in lobby - quiet but adequate.
When I checked in had to provide passport - the staff noticed it was my birthday and they came to my room to sing Happy Birthday and brought me a nice small cake and a Birthday Card - what a wonderful surprise and a great touch as I was far away from home...
- Richard (10/5): Good value at the Parami - I was here on business and stayed at the hotel 2 weeks. I was very impressed with the staff who bent over backwards to make you feel comfortable. The restaurant is very good with changes in the morning buffet and evening menu nightly. On the 9th floor is a lounge with a pool and live music. The lounge is popular with locals as a night life spot. There isn't much to do or see in the immediate vicinity but a short walk down Parami Road is a great pizza restaurant. This is a nice hotel.
- Changhee (8/5): Nice, New, Clean and comfort. - Very New and nice hotel.
Relatively less congestion of traffic and near hotel, there are so many nice restaurant to eat out. also close to lake...
- David (6/5): Newly build but still lots of people work to do - The hotel itself is pleasant and newly built. The staff seems really 'fresh' and not seasoned. For the most part have the best intentions but language can be a barrier and many of the staff members are going to learning curves.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect stay, especially if you want to be closer to the airport.
- Kevin (6/5): Light Bulb moment would give you 5 starts - I stayed here during its "soft opening", so there were a few minor things missing. Everything is good - room, food service etc, but I would suggest lower wattage bulbs in the room. The rooms are so bright it feels a little clinical and is quite unwelcoming, unhomely. Good luck for your main launch.
