- Jhonnaldy (9/5): My experience at the Devossion hotel was, overall, very positive, with a few points that could be improved. - Service: Overall, the service was very good. I especially highlight Antônio, who was extremely kind, polite, and clearly very well-prepared, he speaks several languages and demonstrates a level of intelligence and professionalism above average. It's surprising he isn't in an even higher position within the resort. In other areas, we were very well attended to, especially at the Asian restaurant, where they made a very sweet surprise for my pregnant wife. Gastronomy: The food exceeded expectations. All the restaurants are very good, especially the steakhouse, the Italian, and the Mediterranean, excellent quality for an all-inclusive, which is not always common. I am quite demanding when it comes to food, and yet I was pleasantly surprised. Hotel Structure: The room is comfortable, well-structured, and the hotel appears to be new and well-maintained. The pool is one of the highlights, with a great view of the beach and a pleasant atmosphere. Spa: The spa environment is very pleasant, and the quality of the massages is excellent. Despite the high price, the experience itself is very good. Beach: The beach was dirty during our stay. I understand that this is beyond the hotel's direct control, but it impacts the experience. Lack of nighttime entertainment: For an adults-only resort, I expected a more active nighttime program. The hotel ends up being quiet at night, which doesn't make much sense for this type of establishment. Honeymoon experience: We informed them in advance that we were on our honeymoon, but there was no special attention or even mention. The welcome in the room was completely standard, which was disappointing. Charge for pool chairs: This was the most negative aspect of the experience. I didn't like having to pay for some chairs inside the hotel where I was staying. I understand the charge for external visitors or day use, but for guests who already pay a daily rate, this sounds abusive and directly impacted my final evaluation. Charge for some items on restaurant menus: there were items you had to pay for, even though it was all-inclusive. It didn't affect my experience much, but I think it's good for people to know before choosing the resort.

This is a little bit of a party hotel (nothing crazy like spring breakers)... a bit of an older crowd (40+) that had a good time in mind. Nothing. The pools were a bit loud with the DJ playing frequently but we had an excellent time. The music did make it lively, but one full week of that might be a bit much for some.

This place is on the expensive side - we paid for an upgrade but it was not worth the expense. Stay in regular room you will get most of the benefits this resort has to offer.

Absolutely every staff member was welcoming, over the top helpful, and could not do enough to make our vacation an amazing experience, not to mention so sincere with their kindness. So many activities to fill our days. All activity staff were amazing! Erik, Melanie, Ana, Marlon and Andres, not to mention the DJ's who played amazing music while we enjoyed everything the resort had to offer. DJ Yes and SJ Rob, thank you. Kayaking, pottery, tie dying, finger painting, mixology classes, painting, Zumba, pool volleyball, just to name some of the activities Each instructor made the activity sooooo much fun. They encouraged us joining in and we were always glad we did. So many activities to fill our time when we were not swimming in one of the many infinity pools overlooking the beach and ocean. An absolute breathtaking view. The rooms have everything you need, grounds are spotless, restaurants are beautiful and food is delicious. - 984c_lestec (10/5): Paradise for adults - We just arrived from a week vacation at Devossion by Live Aqua in Playa Del Carmen. My husband and I were looking for a smaller quieter adults only resort. We are so happy we chose an ocean front room at Devossion to celebrate our 25 year wedding anniversary. Our room was super clean and so comfortable. We loved the location, being so close to fifth avenue. We felt totally safe taking a stroll every night to enjoy the lively Mexican music and culture. The staff is truly amazing. We want to give a shout out to Paloma at the front desk. She was so accommodating and friendly. Antonio at the breakfast buffet was a smiling face we looked forward to seeing every morning. Manny was a quick and observant server around the pool area and the staff at Carnivore treated us like family. The resort is top quality and has a fresh new vibe. It is definitely a good bang for your buck.

- shannoncE4764HC (10/5): Mind blowing level of excellence - Where do I begin? Devossion by Live Aqua is new and I set my expectations to match the newness. There was no need to do this as every person, every meal, every interaction, every amenity we experienced was perfect. The food is outrageously good to the degree that it was torture deciding which restaurants to repeat and which we would have to wait for the next visit. The ocean view room we had was outstanding. Water pressure, AC, ceiling fan, use of space, all better than we could have hoped for. Small things like a place to rest your foot for leg shaving (ladies, IYKYK) to excellent shampoo/conditioner/body balm-we wanted for nothing. The many al fresco dining options are perfect with a comfortable breeze keeping you the correct temperature always. I didn’t think I would like a DJ at the pool but I was wrong! Our favorite, Rob Rocha, played to the crowd (we are in our 50/60’s so think back to club music in the 80s/90s) so much so that I got up and danced (rare sight). While we heard about “the chair game” at the pool weeks before we arrived, it must really depend on the crowd at the hotel at the time as we NEVER had a problem getting a chair/shade or even moving to new spaces during the day. There are plenty of loungers and umbrellas available. The pools are set to different temperatures and never crowded. The employees are the real heroes here and this is due to a very evident, top notch service culture handed down from the management team. We made new friends that we are anxious to come visit again very soon. Many thanks to Martin Vazquez, Rodrigo, Jorge Noriega, Agustin, Paula Souza, Mauricio, Tessi & Marcella who all went above and beyond to make our stay nothing short of spectacular. I could list 10 more names of employees with outstanding service but you get the picture! We are returning in December and we cannot wait to continue the love affair! - Adventurer820568 (10/5): One of our favorite resorts - My wife and I have traveled to over 25 different resorts in the last 32 years and this resort is in our top 4 or 5. We have not found the "perfect " resort, but this one checks off most of the boxes. The service, food and drinks were all good to excellent. We love that there are no reservations needed for dinner and we never had a wait, no fancy dress code (who wants to wear long pants in a tropical location?) I had the best filet in the steakhouse compared to any other resort we have been to in Mexico. It wasn't very large (4 oz) but very tender and cooked to perfection. I refuse to pay extra money for a larger steak at an "all inclusive". They wanted almost $110 USD extra for a larger ribeye. Every employee we encountered was outstanding. The service we received was some of the best we have ever had. A couple of issues were the towel games for the loungers. The pool area is smaller than most and there aren't enough loungers like many resorts. We went down to the pool at 8:30 and all of the chairs around the pool were reserved already but there were still plenty of chairs open at the beach. The beach is a public beach like most resorts but it was very crowded. The pool doesn't have a swim up bar but the waiter service for food and drink around the pool was outstanding. The music around the pool was usually too loud and they need to improve the selection of music for the clientele, a better mix of classic rock, country, top 40's, not the techno music or whatever they were mainly playing. Overall this is a great resort and we plan on returning in the future.

- kibosch (10/5): Incredible gem in the Heart of Playa Del Carmen - Let me start by saying we've been to Playa Del Carmen around 15 times and have stayed at different places that are great. This one topped them all and will be our go to location in the future. My wife and I arrived and unfortunately the booking company messed up our reservation for a Horizon Suite. Two front desk employees, Brenda and Carlos, were incredibly patient with the booking company and worked out the issue. The suite was perfect for us - spacious, comfortable and has breathtaking views of the ocean. The bathroom was huge and had a rainfall shower and full tub. Everything in the room felt very high end and luxurious. Our butler, Katherine, was nothing short of amazing. She had found out it was our anniversary and personally went above and beyond in her service to make our celebration memorable - including rose petals and chocolate covered strawberries. The atmosphere at the property was equally high end, with a large open aired walkway through the lobby and down to the pool/beach area. There is an upbeat vibe throughout the day as the staff engages in many activities to keep guests engaged (if they want to). The restaurants on the property were very good - we particularly enjoyed the sushi restaurant and breakfast at Azur. All of the drinks were fantastic - they don't skimp on liquor and can make you just about anything you can imagine. Be careful of the speakeasy - the night caps were very good and entice you to drink more than you need to! The entire property was extremely clean and the staff at the beach were quick to take orders, deliver them and clean up any plates/empty drink glasses. Jose and Yessi were excellent in their service to us when we were in our cabana. I highly recommend booking the suite if you want to get a ton of value for the money. Not only is the room large and comfortable, but you get a free day in a cabana and access to the Devossion lounge. The staff in the lounge were amazing - so many good things to eat/snack on and they also make excellent cocktails. We never had any issues with noise in the room - the soundproofing is solid, and you can definitely get a peaceful night's rest. The property is perfectly located on 1st and 26th street, so you are a few quick steps from the action of 5th avenue. Again, a special thanks to Brenda, Carlos, Katherine, Jose and Yessi for their excellent and memorable service. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this property to our friends and family.

We were well attended to on my husbands birthday trip and we’re on a first name basis with many of the staff. Loved the speakeasy and DJ. - ashleyrenea2000 (4/5): Beware! This is not even similar to LA Cancun!!! - I’m a Fiesta Rewards member and I recently visited this resort after it was recommended by reps at Live Aqua Cancun. I want to give some insight on our stay. Upon booking the trip, I only saw positive reviews. We have stayed at several resorts and we actually stayed at another resort while on this vacation. I frequent Live Aqua Cancun, so my expectations were at minimum the level of cleanliness/ambiance as LA Cancun. The rooms: I thought the rooms were small, dated and lacked aesthetically. The mirror in our room had water spots and the fixtures were pitting. I spotted one too many large strands of hair that did not belong to me. I was expecting some aromatherapy, I even asked for some that they didn’t provide. I do travel with my BBW wallflowers that I was able to plug in. The bed was meh, not super uncomfortable just nothing to rave about. I love the Molten Brown products at LA Cancun, Devossion have Natura Bisse. Also in case you didn’t know, this resort is an exterior corridor resort. The AC in the rooms work really well too. The beach: It’s a public, overcrowded beach. They did their best to keep the sargassum at bay. The beach service was the best we’d had in a while, Jose was amazing and helped with everything. The food: There are a few restaurants, we tried the Italian, Asian, Breakfast Buffet and room service. We didn’t make it to the steakhouse or the Seafood restaurant. Overall the food was good. The breakfast buffet didn’t have many options; however the fresh squeezed OJ was the best part for me. One night we needed room service, they did not answer. We did call the front desk and they took our order and had it delivered. The service: Checking in was a breeze, the bellman, the servers, just about all of the resort personnel were very nice and helpful. The location: The location is everything if you like to hang out. There is so many stores and restaurants within walking distance. It was one of my favorite adventures on the trip. Would I stay there again, no. Would I stay in that area again, absolutely!

- S9680CSbrendab (10/5): Almost Perfect Stay - My husband and I came to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We booked the plunge pool room. The room is large and clean upon arrival . We were left delicious Carmel macaroons. I probably wouldn’t book this again as the pool is a rough stucco and wasn’t comfortable to sit in. But that’s personal preference. The resort is beautiful with lots of open air space. The beach area is nice, most days not a ton of sea grass and the sand break out about 75 meters keeps the waves manageable for swimming and relaxing. The resort is 1 block off 5th Ave North. This is closed to vehicles and goes on for blocks with shops, restaurants and bars. With lots of live music at night. We enjoyed walking around and doing a little shopping. The resort is quiet and peaceful and you’d never know the night life is so close. We really enjoyed the exceptional staff. Stand outs were: Ady at the pool. She was so attentive and friendly. We sat in her section multiple days and she was always taking care of so many of us. Also, Laura, Abimael and Carlos at the lobby bar. They made our last night (20 year anniversary celebration) so special. Carlos did a tequila tasting and pairing and made us both delicious signature cocktails with our favorite alcohol of choice. Seriously the best cocktail I had. He should create some signature cocktails for the resort. We also enjoyed Ernesto in the sushi restaurant, he gave us great recommendations for things to do during the day. Also a huge shout out to the entire Bell desk at the entrance. They were always warm and welcoming when we returned from town or excursions. So helpful with recommendations on place to find a sweet treat. They also went above and beyond helping us with our shuttle to the airport. we saw lots of reviews complaining about the food. So we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Everything we had was very delicious and fresh. We are foodies and we had so many exceptional meals. I thought there was a good variety. There’s an Italian restaurant, sushi restaurant, steak house/grill and Mexican restaurant, also pool side specials such as poolside paella and a grill menu you can order off. There’s a coffee cart area that has breakfast pastries in the morning and sandwiches and snacks in the afternoon. There’s a huge breakfast buffet with too many options to list. From fresh made tortillas to a waffle bar, to fresh made omelets. The freshest baked goods and so many fruit selections. They even squeeze their orange juice freshly. There’s also many pool side activities, water aerobics, pool volleyball, cocktail making classes, poolside arts and crafts, ocean kayaking. These are just a few going on while we were there. They also did a bubbles party one evening and had a live band in the lobby one night. I loved the selection of activities. But there was no way to know what was happening for the day unless you happened upon it. So we missed some things or saw them at the end. It would be nice if there was a board or paper in the lobby area where you could see the day’s activities. The entertainment staff was always running around trying to gather people. It would be nice if they didn’t have to do that and people could plan their day by knowing if something special was happening that or that night that they were interested in. Ok here’s what needs improvement. The front desk staff needs improvement. We are early risers and waited until 3pm most days to have anyone come to clean our room. Which was when we were returning from the pool. I called and asked that it be cleaned at 10am everyday with the housekeeping. That never happened. When we brought it to the front desk we were greeted with blank stares and never got resolve. I stopped going to ask about the housekeeping because they were so unhelpful. Which was so strange with the staff in every other area being above and beyond helpful. Which is why I gave 5 stars. Because all the other staff were so above and beyond. But cleaning schedules need improvement and the front desk staff. Both were disappointing. That being said I’d definitely come back. I know this is a newer resort and is a work in progress. The goods far outweigh the bad. I would definitely book this again.

- haunna (10/5): Fantastic! - Our family of 10 had a wonderful time. Devossion was beautiful from the moment you stepped onto the property. We had one family member in a wheelchair and there was no problem for him getting around. He went to every restaurant and the spa for a massage. We got cabanas every day at the pool. The wait staff was always happy and helpful. We had Martin and Guillermo for the week as well. Martin planned a birthday party for my mom that was above and beyond what he needed to do. They were fantastic!! The resort is just 1 block from 5th Ave which I went to every day. Location cant be beat! Beach was great as well. Suites wer latge, clean, and the ocean view cant be beaten anywhere!! There is nothing I can think of to complain about. Top notch resort.

As a frequent traveler to Playa Del Carmen, I have stayed at numerous resorts over the past 15 years and this was by far my best experience!. If you're looking for a nice mid size, adults only property, this is the place. It is just steps from the famous 5th ave shopping in downtown Playa del Carmen The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms and property were nicely updated and the food was beyond amazing, gourmet quality actually. There were no hidden surprises and the all inclusive included top shel alcohols which was a pleasant surprise. There were also no reservations or dress codes requires at any of the 5 restaurants. If there was any down side it would be that there is only one main pool and lounge chairs get taken up very quickly by 7 or 8 in the morning but the beacih lounges are more readily available. Overall I highly recommend this property and fully enjoyed my stay here. I will be back for sure!
- LauBau17 (10/5): Amazing experience - would love to return! - Overall: i’m still in a state of sadness at coming home since this was such a wonderful vacation at a gorgeous resort with our friends who are family. Service was top notch! Easy check-in and out, very attentive and helpful staff all around. Extremely clean and well maintained property, not a bug in sight! Gorgeous sweeping views of ocean, cool breezes, lots of bright airy spaces to lounge about. This definitely had a very different feel from other larger scale all inclusive resorts we visited in the past- this felt more “boutique” and high end (likely because it was originally a high-end Hyatt hotel!). Beach: plenty of loungers available if you get there before 9 am; with umbrellas for shade. Staff will also set up loungers and umbrellas upon request, bring towels, offer beachside service with drinks and limited food menu. The beach did get fairly crowded with families and other respectful travelers (it’s a public beach). There was a fair bit of sargasm, but the staff did a really good job to try to remove it. It was much worse on other parts of the beach up and down the coast. I hear it’s much worse during other times of the year. The water was still beautiful and the white sand soft. Pools: plenty of loungers available but shade came at a premium some of the days. If you get there early, you can get some of the jutting out over the beach, which are amazing. Great service by the pool as well. The music varied each day and was mostly fine except for some of the techno club music that was played from time to time, not too loud, but I still prefer it a bit quieter. There were some water aerobics in the far pool and some games on the beach, but fairly minimal which I appreciated after being at some of the larger, very busy and loud all inclusive resorts. Food / Drink: definitely one of our favorite parts about the resort! A lot of à la carte options but you can do the breakfast and lunch buffets if you’d like. Highly recommend the Italian place for lunch as well as the beachside seafood place for ceviche and tapas type dishes for lunch. The sushi place was very good as well, but the Italian was just so-so for dinner (great service at ALL!). The steakhouse was pretty good as was the “Mexican” restaurant for dinner (not really Mexican food as you’d expect). The desserts were all very good, which was surprising for all inclusive resort. Pretty much any brand of liquor and mixed drinks you want. Highly recommend the spicy passionfruit margarita, the espresso martini, and Mojitos. Best bar was The Pour as drinks varied a bit bar to bar. Great service at all! **A special shout out to Oswaldo, who was our server each morning at breakfast. So kind and attentive. ** Nightlife: there wasn’t much of this, which I appreciated! There’s a speakeasy, which has a fun vibe. We also really enjoyed the Sports pub that had mini golf, air hockey, and pool. There was a Saturday evening dinner party in the mangroves that we were not aware of until we’d already eaten but look like it would’ve been a really fun time. There weren’t many people there at all. Maybe advertise this a bit more? Really our favorite thing to do in the evenings was hang out in the open air lounge next to the Pour and play cards and listen to live music which was available a few of the evenings. Rooms: we upgraded to an oceanfront and it was worth it. The room was modern and clean and well appointed- the cleaning staff did a great job each day, bringing treats and turning down the beds at night. There was a mini fridge with cold drinks and snacks that was refilled each day. Even the shampoo conditioner and soaps were high quality! Only drawback was the first day we got there, Saturday, there was super loud pumping music coming from the hotel next door. It finished up by evening and you couldn’t hear too much of it in the room. No issues after that except the beeping of the digger removing sargasm the morning we left. Recommend you bring earplugs or white noise machine. Misc: Note, there were some bats at the resort, but they didn’t bother the guests. There was also at least one raccoon but again didn’t bother the guest much! We didn’t do the spa but our friends had a great experience there!

We stayed in one of the suites in the ‘bridge’ with spectacular views, the room is large, comfortable and clean. With multiple restaurants, pools, the private beach area, the lovely staff, it’s all you can wish for. I also had my birthday during my stay, and the staff surprised me with some nice decorations, treats and drinks in the room. Excellent location to stay, totally recommended. Nothing

- paulhV6374NL (10/5): Great experience, great food, and great service. - I had a great stay at Devossion by Live Aqua. I booked the Elixer Suite which includes butler service. Everyone on the property was very accommodating, but my butlers, Katharine and Luis, were exceptional. They made sure that my stay was the best possible. They even arranged to have my morning espresso delivered to my room every morning at 5:00. The property is very well maintained, the food is great, and the ambiance is very relaxed. I would definitely stay here again.

Pepe, our waiter at the Italian restaurant, was exceptional. He was incredibly kind and attentive — he even brought me a separate chair just for my purse so it wouldn’t have to sit on the ground. That level of thoughtfulness truly stood out. Roberto, our bartender for two days, was so sweet and personable. What impressed me most was that out of all the guests he serves daily, he remembered my exact drink order. That kind of attention makes you feel genuinely valued. Veni, our pool service waiter, was always smiling and full of positive energy. You could clearly see how hard he works to keep everyone happy, and he never once lost his friendly attitude. Andres, the manager, went above and beyond for us more than once. The property is large, but he was always available — helping with directions, answering every question we had, and making sure everything ran smoothly. Yari was also wonderful — extremely kind and welcoming to both me and my boyfriend throughout our stay. Finally, Paloma at the front desk made our checkout seamless. She ensured our bags were taken care of and allowed us to continue enjoying the amenities while we waited for our ride to the airport. Every single one of these individuals made our trip special. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly elevated our entire experience. We can’t wait to come back!

- espressofiedofficial (10/5): Vacation Perfection - We had the most breathtaking stay at Devossion by Live Aqua in Playa del Carmen. It was the perfect mix of luxury and fun, mixed with vibrant energy and gorgeous beachfront views. We usually do not prefer to stay in all-inclusive hotels, but this beachfront resort offers amazing culinary delights and professionally prepared drinks (both cocktails and mocktails). Each of their 6 restaurants/dining options has its own charm and serves different types of food (not like other all-inclusive hotels that offer the same food in different areas of the hotel). You'll never go hungry and your tastebuds will be delighted. You must visit the Cenote Spa on property-- it's glorious. We each enjoyed a 50-minute massage by different massage therapists, and they were the best we have ever had (which speaks volumes as we've had massages around the world). There are also various areas within the spa to relax and enjoy warm-water pools and cold-plunge pools. The cenote warm-water pool is bliss! Every service is outstanding, the rooms are kept immaculately clean, our in-room snacks were refilled daily at no extra cost, and their on-site activities offered (including entertainment in their on-site speakeasy) are so much fun. Highly recommend! We will return again and again!
- javannap2021 (10/5): Best Adults only Resort Hands down! - I celebrated my 28th anniversary at this hotel. Let me tell you it’s absolutely breathtaking. The service is immaculate here. From the time we arrived we were met with a fresh lemon scented warm damp towel to wipe our faces. We weren’t able to get a room until 3pm however we were allowed to eat and use all amenities until we were assigned a room. We had a personal butler….Yes, a butler her name was Katherine, she was awesome, very helpful and checked in with us daily. We had amazing pool service from Raul, he was always checking on us, getting us drinks and food quickly. Omar the waiter in La Cocina had a great personality loved to chat and was very personable. Carlos at bell desk was super friendly and helpful very attentive for sure. The filet mignon at the steakhouse was on point and Christian our server was awesome, he made sure my food never touched anything I was allergic to. The Dj In the speakeasy was on fire , he kept everyone dancing all night. 9:30 to 12 am is not enough, the music should end at 1 am when they close. Drinks are top shelf at every bar, we had access to the VIP lounge on the 5th floor the view is gorgeous from the balcony and the staff are ready to make you anything or drink you would like. We absolutely loved it here and we would stay forever if we could.

Some things here are great: the rooms and the food. The beach is crowded here and the service uneven. Communications is terrible. The entire hotel was inconvenienced for a large party which blocked off the pool are for a full day. Some staff said the party was for all guests. Other staff said it was a private party. Turns out it was a private party. It was so loud it shook the hotel. Other comments: No regular night time Entertainment as advertised. The power has gone off several times. Service needs work. We won’t come back

The resort had delicious restaurants, lively activities, and a beautiful beachfront. We also had the pleasure of being taken care of by our butler, Katherine Rodriguez, who was courteous, friendly and professional. And the special treatment given to my wife on her birthday was much appreciated.

The beach is public so no reprieve there either. Corporate sectioned off events every single night that you cannot attend but have to listen to the party.. no care for the other hotel guests. Food cold on quite a few occasions even when the restaurants were not too busy. Hardly any veg/vegan options. Some staff on reception and in the restaurants rude and unhelpful. ( pool and beach staff friendly) Have stayed in México three times and this is by far the most disappointing stay.

- DreaMbrqzao (10/5): Best all inclusive - new,modern, upscale - The most beautiful and best all inclusive I have experienced. We originally stayed next door at Hyatt Vivid for our anniversary. The Hyatt was old and we felt that we were just constantly being sold. There was empty lounge chairs on the pool that you could not sit on and after that we decided to check out early. We saw Devossion when we walked on the beach (since it’s next to Hyatt) As soon as we checked in here, the energy is so different. For upscale, new, and everyone was so kind with no type of upselling you on everything. The food and drinks were magnificent. Their peanut butter brownie at the pool is a must. Miguel the waiter over there was also very kind. The mango margarita and red sangria were delicious! Their sushi restaurant was so fresh and delicious! Best all Inclusive I’ve been too and would love to come back!

- lesliemknight (10/5): Wonderful vacation! - We are really big fans of life Aqua in the hotel zone so we decided to give this new resort a try. It was totally worth it. It has a super cool layout and more of a boutique feel. We feel like this resort was more lively during the day, but lacked entertainment in the evenings. If you are looking for nightly shows, this is probably not a good spot for you. I love the beach here. It is not super wide, but it is next to public access so the beach is lively with a big mix of resort goers and locals. There’s lots to see and do. The day entertainment crew works really hard to keep things upbeat and fun. A special shout out to Fernando, Marlon and Andres. The pools here are smaller, but nice, with several infinity Lookouts. The service around the pool was incredible. A special shout out Veni who never slowed down and Are who made sure our every need was met. The 1:26 celebration daily is a ton of fun. The room at the resort was very nice. The beds were comfortable, and even the pillows did not disappoint. The water pressure was good with plenty of warm water. Our room had a double vanity, which makes things much easier. We upgraded to an oceanfront room. While it was a very nice view, I’m not sure I would do that again only because we spend so little time in our room. Housekeeping there does a fantastic job. There is a great open air lobby bar. Roberto, the bartender, is a true craftsman when it comes to cocktails. It doesn’t hurt that he is a super cool dude too. We really enjoyed the restaurants. Our favorite was The Grill and a special shout out to our waiter Carlos. The Italian is really delicious too. Our waiter Ignacio. was incredible. Some of my favorite tiramisu ever. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well. I would highly recommend this resort. The service is incredible, the food is yummy and you are steps away from fifth Avenue. It’s a great location for getting out and being part of the community.

NO VALE LO QUE CUESTA - Los servicios en la playa tardados, pero variados y aceptables, el trayecto del lobby a la playa muy con el bar, la estación de cafe, muy bien atendida siempre, el gimnasio, el salón de zumba bastante agradables. El servicio de la COCINA en todos los restaurantes,(excepto el GRILL), , bastante LENTOS y no había personal suficiente nunca, los meseros atentos pero vueltos locos. Lo más agradable era el buffet del desayuno. El sistema obsoleto para asignar mesas en todos los restaurantes, con lápiz y papel. Parece que no hay ningún Gerente o Supervisor de A y B en el HOTEL para supervisar los restaurantes y el personal sin experiencia se hace bolas. Finalmente el Hotel debería tener un servicio para limpiar todas las mañanas el SARGAZO en la playa.

Our room was amazing, clean, large and well thought out in functuanality and design. Enjoyed the restaurants, especially the Sushi, Grill and Cevice spots. Coffee/snack shop was great and available late. Staff was incredible, friendly, helpful and fun! I was very satisfied all the way around, the complaints we heard were that there is a lack of entertainment, I disagree as the hotel is for celebrations, and there is all the entertainment you can want a block away. The only negative as there was a white party next door that went into the ealry AM - and very loud - didn't bother us, but I bet there are guest that would not be so okay with it!

Des transats privatifs sont disponibles sur la plage. Le spa est très joli et agréable. Parking gratuit sur place. L’isolation sonore des chambres, parfois nous entendions nos voisins ou les personnes dans le couloir la nuit. L’offre de spa assez cher.

Food was mediocre at best. Very limited choices at an all inclusive 5 star compared to other all inclusive 5 star resorts in playa del Carmen; buffet available only on NYE with very basic Mexican food.
