Christopher (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay in Mykonos. Our room had a great view of the Aegean Sea. Narrow alley/road to town was convenient but you have to be careful as the road is narrow. Great breakfast and wonderful pool area.
Josephine (6/5): - The property was really nice, beautiful front yard, clean, and with a good size swimming pool. We really love our ocean front room with stunning view and amazing sunset! Friendly staff. However, the bathroom is ridiculously small. I am small, 4’11,100 lb woman, and I could hardly turn or move without banging my elbow on the shower wall. We are not a fan of a doorless shower especially when it’s right next to the toilet. The bathroom collects a pool of water because either the drain is super slow or does not work. Third, there was no facial tissue in the room and they provide a body wash and shampoo combined in one bottle. No conditioner. Unacceptable. The breakfast is so-so. I will never pay for that. Their coffee machine serves lukewarm coffees. Terrible!

Les chambres sont équipées de grand balcon donnant sur la mer et grande douche. Le fils et la mère sont très gentils, le monsieur propriétaire est un peu bête et peu accommodant

Alice (10/5): - What impressed me the most about this hotel is the customer service. The lady was super kind, very attentive, and willing to help when we had questions. They also offer a shuttle service from the airport but you pay around 20Euros. The breafast was nice, scamble and boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc... The hotel is very clean, beautiful view and iy l looks as shown in the pictures. The location was great! Walkable to little Venice and to the bus station. Highly recommend the hotel.

Joseph (10/5): An amazing hotel with a wonderful staff! - An amazing hotel with a great pool! The staff are very kind and helpful. The older woman, who appears to be the owner, is absolutely delightful! She is accommodating to all needs, including helping to carry bags to the room and to the cab (she insists to do so). We would definitely stay at this hotel every time we are in Mykonos.
Stirling (10/5): - The "included breakfast" was a big factor in our choice, and it was delicious. Fantastic ocean views from the room and breakfast hall. About a 20 min walk to Mykonos Town. There are no sidewalks, but that's just how things are on the island, not the hotel's fault. There is a great car and ATV rental place right across the street making a rental super convenient and access to the rest of the island a breeze. The hotel owners were super kind and helpful. Room service came by every one of the 7 days we were there. The pool is very nice. The mattress was very firm, some love this. A bit too firm for me.

The room was sparse, but certainly adequate for our needs. Location was convenient for getting to city center and port - although the walk is a bit taxing with traffic. Also really appreciated the assistance with transportation to and from the ferry port.

The walk to town is about 10 minutes and a slight uphill on the way back. Breakfast is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Close enough to town to go in and shop/eat and far enough away it’s nice and quiet.

Suzanne (8/5): Nice hotel - We recently returned following a 10 night stay. The hotel is lovely. Our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels on alternate days. The view from our room (no 109) was absolutely amazing to say the least! Waking up to a sea view everyday was lovely. We had table & chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view. There is also a small fridge in the room. Breakfast was perfectly adequate with cereal, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, coffee or tea & Danish pastries…. Perfect to start the day. The pool is perfect too with the most amazing view. There is a bar which opens in the afternoon where you can order various snacks. The only downside to this hotel is the walk into Mykonos town. It takes approx 15/20 mins, down hill on the way in so obviously your walk back is hard going!! The road is narrow with enough room for one car, you have to squeeze to the side to allow cars to pass not perfect! A shuttle bus from the hotel a couple of times in the evening for a small charge would make this hotel much more user friendly! All in all we have no complaints at all about the hotel other than the walk into town!

Erin (6/5): Ok for 2 Days - We booked a hotel transfer for this hotel but no one arrived to pick us up so we ended up paying double for a taxi to get there. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival. The pool bar was never open. There is also no door on the shower so water gets everywhere while bathing. The owner was very friendly and the location was good. Nice views of the beach but I probably would not book again.

Loved how the cool breeze went through our room in the evening. Air conditioning was great. Beds were very hard and the showers were a challenge but the rest of the hotel made up for those two issues. What we love most was the owner of the hotel, her and her husband and her son were so hospitable they made you feel like you were at home. The breakfast was good fresh and the ambience was amazing. Swimming pool was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Mykonos!

Room was very small for 3 people and we were there for one night! Breakfast was good! The walk to town was nice but the walk back is all uphill and long after a big day and night in town! Warren (10/5): The best balcony view EVER! - We honestly loved Hotel Gorgona. It’s family run, and they honestly can’t do enough for you. We had issues with our airline and subsequently arrived a day late, they communicated perfectly and ensured us that our room would still be available when we eventually arrived a day later. The hotel room is was simple, but very clean and fully equipped. The bathroom was a little small but honestly, if we weren’t sat on our amazing balcony overlooking the sea, we were out enjoying the island. The location is AMAZING! Literally 10/15 minutes MAX walk into Mykonos town (I don’t understand how it’s taking some people 30 minutes to walk to be honest, and if you aren’t a fan of walking, don’t go to Mykonos in general!) Fantastic stay, already looking to rebook for next summer

Linda (10/5): - The view from our room was stunning, overlooking Mykonos Town tomthe left, and straight out to the ocean. There were double doors leading out to a private balcony. Our room fitted 3. Not a lot of room, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in our room. The bathroom had been upgraded. Pool area was spotless and the pool sparkling. Breakfast was ample - yoghurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, etc. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. we had a rental car for which there was ample parking.
Caron (10/5): fabulous place - Choose this beautiful amazing hotel. A family run establishment for years first class service nothing is too much trouble. location is superb. Breakfast has a variety for all. There were 9 of us altogether and we all enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it should be rated at least a 4*
Micah (10/5): Homely getaway with breathtaking views. - This felt like a home away from home. It’s a family run business and everything was done with a personal touch. Yanna and get family were fantastic. The room was new, spacious and fresh. The view from the large balcony was incredible!!!

Verified traveler (10/5): - It's a family running hotel. Amazing people. We were picked up from the airport by the Son and he shared some Greek culture on the way to the hotel. Annia the mother was really kind, professional and happy person that show us the room and even gave us a map with nice places to eat in Mykonos town. And Bill the father was really helpful and professional. It was pleasant to see Bill playing with his grandkids in the back garden one afternoon. This family works hard. The room was clean and nice size. Sea view, amazing views I must say. Amazing pool area. Nice breakfast. This hotel is 10 minutes walking from mykonos town.

Included was breakfast, good. There’s parking on the facility for a scooter or ATV even a car. The hotel is steps away from Mykonos Town for shops and restaurants. It is also close to the port. Will stay here again, had a wonderful time.
Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location close to Mykonos town- a short walk down but slightly longer walk back (uphill). Everyone at the hotel made us feel welcome. We loved the breakfast in the morning and appreciated the beautiful view from the pool and the snack bar/bar by the pool. We had a lovely view from our balcony and were happy with the accommodations overall.

Verified traveler (4/5): Beautiful hotel with awful beds. - Hotel is beautiful and staff is welcoming BUT the beds are awful!!!!!!! They seem to be budget beds from IKEA and are so hard. We felt like we were sleeping on wooden boards. We stayed here for three days and we barely slept because we were so uncomfortable in the beds. Breakfast is included and very basic. The OJ seems more like kool-aid and the pastries are somewhat stale. 15 min walk to town center.
Howie (8/5): Clean room with view, great location - Booked this room for a night at the last minute over the peak season. Great value. Very clean, air conditioned room with amazing view of old port. Very helpful owner. Would recommend, particularly for price paid.
M (10/5): Family run hotel with BEAUTIFUL sunset views - They quite family run hotel is located 15 min walk from town. Every room had a beautiful view of the Mykonos sunset and Old Port. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the family/staff we polite, informative and entertaining. Air-conditioning in the rooms worked well and the pool area was fantastic for those lazy days in the sun. We most definitely would stay here again because the family were FANTASTIC company! Would recommend hiring a Car/ATV/Bike as the walk from town to the hotel can be tiring as it is uphill. The hotel have a car park (free) and the gates are closed at night.
Andy (8/5): Nice hotel with great views - We arranged transfer from the port and checked in promptly. Lovely clean room but bathroom bit on the small size but you adapt. Breakfast buffet was lovely with great breakfast room. The pool and bar area is the wow for this hotel from the lovely pool to the fantastic views. Great sunset from here as well. Anna and her family made us feel welcome and would have no problem in returning.

April (10/5): nice and great experience - From the beginning since we arrived to the hotel people in the reception were very welcoming and willing to give much help and directions to go into town. As soon as we got into the room it was really clean and very well organized, we had a really nice balcony with an amazing view, the bathroom was really clean and totally tidy. Regarding the location of the hotel it was very convenient, from the port you had to walk like 20 minutes (only 5 minutes in taxi) and walking from the hotel to downtown it's about 10 to 15 minutes. The breakfast was also very good and with much variety. I I will totally recommend it and definitely would come back again.
Sandy (10/5): Quiet location close to town - Great location between the port and town, away from the cruise ship tourists. The views were lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly. Appreciated having a pool to escape to and a bar fridge in the room. Typical continental breakfast available. They had transportation available from the port to the hotel that was very convenient for a flat rate. Would come back here again.
