Guest Reviews
- Kathleen (8/5): The negatives were minor. I'd definitely stay here again. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of sticky spots on the nightstand and on the marble shelf where the coffee pot was located.
- Brandi (7/5): -
- Hoehn (3/5): Disappointing - The pool was "closed for maintenance" the whole reason I booked with them was so my toddler could swim while we were in town for a funeral. Instead I got to hold him while he quietly sobbed into my shoulder for 5 minutes after I told him the pool was closed while we waited for our room to be "cleaned." I was told it would probably be ready "tomorrow or the next day" knowing full well I wouldn't be there. After I looked up reviews and saw that the pool had been closed in March and April as well. There was also a piece of candy on the ground under the nightstand and there were crumbs on the couch. I had gotten there a little early and when they said the room wasn't ready yet I told them that was fine, I knew I was early and didn't mind waiting. However, we got to the room and it still wasn't clean.
- Greg (3/5): Bad stay - Beds were comfortable Room next to us had loud television early in our stay and somewhat all through the night. Poor shower pressure and bad shower head. Walls paper thin. Overall pretty bad experience!
- Meza (4/5): pool and hot tub out of order basically the only reason I booked this hotel. - breakfast wasn't that great mostly processed food.
- Nayeli (6/5): -
- Mitchel (6/5): -
- SananthaMarie95 (10/5): Great hotel! - The nice and friendly staff Nothing to complain over
- Kimberly (8/5): -
- FRANK (7/5): - Close to highway Loud at night with guest yelling in hallways
- Jeff (8/5): - Room to park pick up with trailer
- Kerra (4/5): -
- Joseph (6/5): Staff could use some hospitality training - Got in 9:45 asked if I could have a little time in the hot tub. I was told no rent this room specifically because of the hot tub due to traffic and travel. I arrive later than expected. Staff was not gracious.
- Brooklyn (2/5): -
- Lawrence (5/5): Not terrible by any stretch but could have been much better! Facilities and food! - The breakfast menu was repetitive with the same items. The crockpot that the sausage and gravy was in seemed very old and dirty on the outside of it. The sausage and eggs were unfortunately bland and dry. The facility as a whole could have been cleaner, ie: the elevator, the stairwell, etc.
While my room was relatively clean, there was a smell of masked cigarette smell in the room. additionally, I learned the hard way a long time ago so I always turn the bed sheets down and check the bed thoroughly. Upon doing so there were specks of something in the sewn crevices and cleats of the mattress as well as hair short and long the top of the mattress near the headboard and between the mattress and the wall and on the floor in that area, all of which I have pics of. While I did not necessarily believe there were any issues with bedbugs, I did not sleep between the covers and used my personal pillow and blanket.
I did not approach the desk for another room because it was my understanding that, at the time of my reservation, that was the only 1 bed room available for the necessary 5 night stay that I needed.
I just expected a little better for a Comfort Inn Suite.
NOTE: I do want to make note of this though, I was unnecessarily charged an additional $50 above the room costs. when I had opportunity to speak to the manager on duty, he was courteous, respectful, listened to my concerns, looked into the additional charges, and when getting approval promptly returned the $50 over payment.
- Kari (10/5): Great breakfast - Great stafg
- Judith (9/5): Very Enjoyable. -
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Chad (3/5): - Breakfast Couldn’t get a detailed receipt
- Marshall (10/5): - Cleanliness Nothing

- Nicholas (7/5): -
- Virginia (10/5): Will stay again - Carol and Ron were so accommodating and so nice.
- Dennis (7/5): -
- Veikka (4/5): Huono - Uima allas oli hyvä Surkea aamiainen ja epäsiistit huoneet. Lattioilla hyönteisiä kun saavuttiin
- Tracy (8/5): -
- Ryan (2/5): - Rooms dirty. Had to exchange the comforter. Room stated sleeps 6 (2 Queen Pull-out-couch), they would not offer bed linens and pillows for the pull-out-couch. Bathroom was dirty. Shower curtain was covered in dirt and stains. When they came for room service, they exchanged 2 towels, but didn’t exchange the towel placed on the floor in front of the shower. Took forever for a staff member to check us in. Staff said inappropriate things to our kids. Will NEVER or will I ever recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY!!
- Thoma (8/5): very effective for our purposes. - Pool Water was very cold in the pool.
- Brent (5/5): Have stayed here often - Location No enough immunity’s
- scott (7/5): -
- Lila (4/5): - The hotel was dated, and there were quite a few guests living out of rooms in the hotel. There were two families, with a combined 4 kids staying down the hall and they were in the hall playing and yelling until midnight.
- YILMAZ (DOMEKS) (1/5): - Rooms, bathroom dirty
- Bradley (4/5): - I've stayed at several Comfort Suites around the United States and the Plymouth Indiana facility was terrible. In a word, nasty.
- Jasper (2/5): - So my husband and I booked online as we saw in the pictures there was a hottub jacuzzi wonderful he does concrete for a living and its hard on the body we drove over an hour away to come stay here upon arrival we checked in and went up to our room assuming we would be getting the room shown in the pictures online nope not at all we went and talked to the receptionist and we mentioned that in the photos it showed a jacuzzi she said no. Well we drove all the way out here for that reason so we asked if we paid the difference could we upgrade the said they had none available. Upset and displeased we went to go out and check ojt the area come back and the room was absolutely dirty hair toilet paper in the toilet hair in the drain in the shower bed didn't look made properly microwave was dirty floor was dirty it was an absolute ick like I didnt feel comfortable sitting so we went to the front desk and the receptionist said we'll its been a few hours since you checked in there isn't anything I can do I mentioned very nicely please check your cameras as we just stepped into the room to see it we hadn't even brought our things up my husband and I asked if we could get a different room or get a refund she then looked into the system to see if they had another room we got into the room and again it was dirty but what are we to do again we are out town its 9:30 so we go to take a bath and there is hair in the tub no drain plug the shower curtain is dirty and there is pee on the floor
- emily (10/5): Went for a concert in South Bend and found these place that was affordable and still comfortable and clean! - Everyone was very nice and helpful! Nothing!
- Natasha (8/5): Nice stay - The staff was really accommodating. Jeff was great and made you feel at home. The hours of the pool were nice. The free breakfast was great! I went down for the blueberry festival and the room I had was a great location for the fireworks. Very quiet stay. The tub could have been cleaner and I just thinks they need to update some of the furniture. The first room i was put into the TV didn't work.. They gave me another room immediately.
- John (4/5): -
This is a nice place but NOT $254 a night nice. Price gouging at its best!!! Don't stay on the weekends. Goes from $96.90 to $254. No hot water. No safety bars on the shower or in the bathroom. No maid service???? Good breakfast.
- Terry (6/5): - Good breakfast-tiny tub
- Laura (4/5): - Husband and I stayed one night while visiting the area. Would not stay again. Our room was in desperate need of a remodel. Bathroom was not clean, hadn't been mopped in I don't know how long, mirror appeared to have been wiped with a dirty rag. I didnt use any facilities or go to the breakfast area, just wanted to get dressed and leave in the morning. Spend a few dollars more and stay in a clean updated place.
- Thomas (1/5): I need a refund - The staff was friendly The room smelled like cigarettes and the bed didn’t have pillows so i left the location completely and have since then been trying to receive a refund.
- Michelle (10/5): - I was very pleased with the service and facilities. Very clean, beautiful rooms. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend
- Jackie (10/5): - Great service
Aged building
- LaBraun (8/5): -
- Angel (10/5): - This is a gem. Excellent customer service, great breakfast continental breakfast, very kind and professional staff, generous, understanding employees and would absolutelyvisit again
- David (4/5): - The bed was uncomfortable. The stairwells were dirty, the sink stopper in our room was broken. The furniture was marred and old looking.
- Maria (2/5): - Dirtuly and the room smelle of tabaco
- Dorothy (8/5): - Enjoyed my stay - I will return to this Comforg Inn when zone am in the area.
- John (1/5): - The worst hotel in the continental USA, hands down….the worst
- Kimberly (6/5): - Price at desk was ridiculous at 179.00
Made my res thru expedia in the lobby and got it down to 137.
Sheet was stained in one section. Turned it inside out and around and notice the mattress pad.also stained. Room 105. This room smelled between weed and idk what. After a while u didnt notice it. Please chnage the bedding!! You cant save pennies on washing to have a clean bed for guests. Thats bad business. Lobby was clean with fresh fruit on trys. Breakfast was plenty available and great coffee. Hot tub and pool were clean and hot tub was great after a long day. There was a mexican food truck next door at the gas station that was the best food!!
- Sandy (2/5): Miserable - Location The room a/c did not cool the room. The curtains didn’t close all the way. There was food left in the refrigerator and a piece of clothing sticking out from under the sofa. The ice machine didn’t work. We asked for an early check in and were sent out of the lobbeyby the lady mopping the floor. She was beyond rude!
Overpriced for this room!
- John (7/5): Good -
- Joan (6/5): Needs a redo! - The staff was great. Room is a wonderful size but hotel is on great need of a redo. Room was shabby, especially bathroom. Air conditioner was really noisy.
- Jereme (7/5): Good - Its easy to get in and out of and there are lots of stores nearby The wifi and phone signal are not the best for sure
- Chris (1/5): Bad - The place was filthy, and the employees should not be working the front desk! Dirty, Dirty, Dirty
- mark (4/5): - Cristos right down the street has Amazing food. This hotel is owned by a local foreign family that is just here to make a living. Everything is run down and barely cleaned. Don't expect Corporate Comfort Suites. The beds are still comfortable and the room was kind of clean, but you saw dirty hand prints all over the bathroom door, light fixtures were broke. Whole sink cabinet was loose. Pool was ok, hot tub was hot. Pool area was run down and about 6 different touched up paint colors. Same Comfort Suites Break fast. It's a shame that these hotel companies sell to foreign buyers that don't care about customer service or quality in appearance. Very few options on the area for a baseball tournament. It's worked for use, but next time I would pick another hotel. Not worth the Comfort Suites price it's closer to an OLD Quality Inn feel.
- Alejandra (4/5): - Upon check in the staff did not know how to check us in. Had to FaceTime multiple people to figure out how to do so. Room was dirty and the room fridge was broken. Someone kept the back door open with a rock in order to keep it from locking. That was unsafe. Hotel grounds were okay, but parking lot was terrible with giant potholes.
- Chad (2/5): - Dirty
- Don (3/5): Don't stay here - The breakfast was good, and beds comfortable Everything else was horrible
- Brigitte (6/5): - The girl who always manned the desk and breakfast was friendly and accommodating! Upon checking in our room was dirty-floors and surfaces were not clean. The housekeeping could have been better. There were crumbs on floor. Sparkly glue dried on carpet. Oily substance on coffee table, animal cracker in AC vent, colored pellets on bathroom floor.
The desk girl graciously assigned us a new room. That room was better but still had red make up smeared on white bathroom door, grimy hand/finger prints on same door where people push door shut. The shelves in bathroom where linens are kept were dusty. Window curtains had water mark stains as did shower curtain in at least one of the rooms we stayed in. Regular and routine cleaning would improve these conditions. Beds were comfy though.
- Leanne (4/5): Gross but comfortable - There was a pair of dirty underwear and someone’s clippers & toothbrush in a drawer. Stray hairs in the bathroom…I felt squeamish. I was also double charged and have to call them to figure out why.
- Samantha (1/5): awful - NA The hotel has new owners as of 12 months ago and the decline is evident. Besides the abundantly clear uncleanliness of the room the staff are extremely rude and invasive. They were unwilling to waive the cancellation fee after i double booked the same room for the same date due to an internet glitch
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hardy (10/5): Exceptional - The Jacuzzi in my room.
- Julie (6/5): Good breakfast, That's About It.. - Stayed here several times, Ice machine never works.
Staff away from dest frequently.
Very good breakfast selection, but at 7am, always COLD?
Needs warming sooner. Staff/owners all Indian, so they're very frugal with towels, supplies, coffee was tan-colored water.
- Corey (6/5): - The rooms and other areas dingy and furniture well worn with what looks like they were shewed/ worn on edges and scratched up. Rooms and Common areas need a repainting, carpeting is worn. The toilet in our room had a cracked lid. There was a late night party going on in the room next to us, the front desk did not answer their phone after repeated attempts I had to walk down to the front desk and they moved us to a different room to address the issue but did nothing with the people causing the noise at 10:30 pm. We got a room under the party room and could still hear noise. Avoid this location.
- Frank (8/5): Would stay again! - Decent hotel. Good price food the time or the year. Could use a few small repairs here and there in room but was nothing major.
- Bill (1/5): Disapoinrment - Lied to by front desk clerk about being able to stay in the same room the next day. Just the truth
- Alyssa (10/5): - Overall great experience, clean room, every appliance i needed was available, supplied me with some toiletries i had forgotten, great shower head, comfy bed
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Melisa (1/5): Don't stay here! - Location The place was filthy. It smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. I saw staff smoking right outside main entrance. All ice machines didn't work. Outside the room I stayed in the room number was written with marker on the wall. Staff dressed very casual in tshirt and jeans. Another employee wearing slippers. The sink in bathroom of room sprayed water all over the place. The closet bar was broke and on floor no way to hang clothes. Walls so thin I could hear someone snoring from one side and the other sides tv. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in ESPECIALLY for cost. I would NEVER stay there again.
- WILBERT (6/5): - Staff was great. Checking in was great. Building was older. Room was okay.
- PAMELA (8/5): - Didn’t hang around the facility due to work but when we arrived late at night our beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were very nice. Made for a great nights sleep.
- Matthew (6/5): - Guest services were courteous and accommodating. Great pool, hot tub and exercise area.
- Taylor (4/5): Our stay was mediocre at best, unfortunately. - My kids had fun at the pool, the girls at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The rooms could’ve been a lot more cleaner. There was hair in the shower from whoever stayed there prior and dirt on the floor in the bathroom. The shower took forever to get hot. The toilet wasn’t the cleanest, neither was the bathroom sink. There was paint chipping off the walls by the window and falling onto the ac/heat unit and I have a curious one year old so I had to make sure I cleaned that up before anything. The breakfast wasn’t that great either. We tried everything, but stuck to the waffle mix if that says anything. The manager I’m assuming was very friendly and helped my son get his breakfast and talked to us for a good few minutes.
- Megan (2/5): - My engine blew up on my truck 2 hrs from the hotel. Hadn’t checked in at all yet. I begged for a refund back so I could put it towards a mechanic. The staff was rude and told me no, then hung up.
- Gideon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brittany (10/5): - Good , clean, friendly ! I would stay here again
- PAMELA (10/5): - The beds were the most comfortable beds I think I have ever slept on and the bedding was luxurious, Nice place to stay.
- PAMELA (10/5): - Convenient location to where I need to work
- PAMELA (10/5): - Accessible
- Sergio (9/5): Superb -
- Bruce (1/5): Bad -
- Sergio (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (4/5): - Run down
- Debbie (1/5): Bad - It was clean and comfortable
- Korena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Korena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Damien (8/5): - I loved our jacuzzi in our room! Biggest one I been in!
- Derrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (1/5): I would never stay overnight at this hotel. It is dirty and not up to the description on website. - Nothing Description was inaccurate. Did not have the room i reserved. This forced me to book another room for the rest of my party. Room was dirty. The heater did not work and it got really cold at night. Breakfast was incomplete. When i asked for food to be replenished, staff grabbed bread slices from the back and placed it on the serving plate with her bare hands. When I questioned her about that she said she washed her hands in the back room. However she replaced the bread using a glove in one hand with the other hand bare. I will never go back to this place and probably think very hard about using booking.com services in the future. The room descriptions need to be corrected to actually show what the dirty rooms look like. They do not have any bunk beds as described… never had according to staff. This was a horrible experience and it shouldn’t jave been according to ratings.
- Kristin (3/5): It was overpriced. - Breakfast The room was not as advertised and we were charged more for the room we were supposed to get.
- Marilyn (10/5): - The room was nice and comfortable
- Bruce (5/5): Not again - Close to were we need to be Dirty
- Skizzle (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (10/5): - Always a pleasant stay.
