We had stayed here a few days earlier in the week and had already booked a stay for our return trip home. Shortly, after that, we got a call from the front desk that the cleaning crew had found our expensive cheese in the refrigerator. They were so kind that they kept it at the front desk for us in the refrigerator until we returned. We will be staying there again in the future as a result. Nothing

- Cynthia (10/5): Highly recommend - Very well managed. The staff are fabulous. We enjoyed the wood fire in the lobby with a complimentary glass of wine. Later in the evening they serve freshly baked cookies. They also serve a full hot breakfast. These perks make the hotel a great value.

- Rosina (10/5): So impressed that we have already booked our next stay! - This has been one of the nicest places we have stayed. We were made to feel welcome at check-in and were offered homemade cookies and milk. We were in the Cottage, a secluded, restful space with its own fenced in garden space, which would be most enjoyable on a dry, sunny day. In addition, the offerings for breakfast were varied and delicious. We will be back!

- Gail (10/5): Grants Pass has a great spot to stay - The staff was so helpful and friendly! We felt very welcome. The breakfast was such a nice surprise! Actual great tasting delicious options! Unlike usual hotel fare! The room was large and the bed very comfortable! The cookies and milk was a nice, and cute, addition. My only disappointment was I was unable to air play to the tv….pretty minor.

- Grace (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay at the Lodge at Riverside. Comfy beds, amazing breakfast that serves until 11 and cooked by a chef, very clean, nice outdoor areas. Wine in the afternoon and cookies in the evening. Felt so pampered. Extremely helpful and cheerful staff. Definitely recommend!

- Lisad1919 (10/5): Wonderful Lodge! - I picked this lodge for many reasons including the great reviews. It was fantastic! We checked in and Denise was at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful, courteous, helpful and professional! She was always ready to answer any questions we had or provide suggestions for our area travels. Our room was on the river with a balcony. It was extremely clean and a good size. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese in the evenings as well. It is amazing how they utilize the grounds to make every inch of space enjoyable -- such as the small outdoor seating area near the lobby. It was a pleasure to stay there!
- Traci (10/5): - Staff incredibly friendly. Room was beautiful and cozy. Balcony overlooking the river was peaceful. Stayed here to say goodbye to my mom for the last time so the balcony was really nice to just sit and feel the grief. There is road noise while sitting on the balcony and occasionally in the room if its a loud vehicle but it was ok. Breakfast was great, and staff was welcoming and friendly. It did get a bit warm overnight in the room even with the air conditioner set down to 66, it just didn't seem to be cooling as much as it had when we checked in. Lots of bedding on the bed, which was a bit much, again with the room being hot, but we made it work.

- Baird (10/5): - Kind, pleasant and professional staff who focus on the extra little things that make this hotel such a wonderful experience. For example, the complementary wine and cheese at happy hour, followed by complementary evening milk and fresh-baked cookies were a wonderful experience. Our only issue was that the ceiling directly above the shower in our bathroom has some mold growth. We will specifically note this to the staff, who we sure will rectify the issue as soon as possible.

- lhL3779WX (8/5): Overall ok - Overall this hotel is fairly nice but it is NOT on the river. Most of the rooms DO NOT have a river view to include the cottages. Staff is friendly, We did cancel our second night and they let us off the hook and did not charge for the second night. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. They are located adjacent to a one way street making finding them and getting into the parking lot a little tricky.

- Linda (10/5): Wonderful and relaxing - The setting is absolutely beautiful and the staff could not have been nicer. There were even hot out of the oven banana bread mini-loaves for breakfast on my second morning there. Very comfortable with a beautiful and relaxing view from the room and from the spacious deck of the grounds, the river and the wooded park on the other side of the river. I loved my stay and look forward to returning again.

Did not take advantage of the free milk and cookies in the evening. Nearby TapRock restaurant was a short walk with great food.

I had to keep the shutter blinds closed the entire time and it was like a cave. In addition, my tv would not work the second night. The young man who was sent to fix it tried valiantly and sought other staff help but no one was available. The breakfast room and staff are lovely, the food is mediocre.

- jennifer (10/5): - LOVE this place!!! Its super cute and the rooms are gorgeous! I could have sat on my patio overlooking the river all night. The free breakfast was decent. But my favorite part had to be the staff. Especially one of the managers who checked me in, George. George is an amazing and valuable asset to this hotel. He is attentive, funny, friendly and efficient. He made sure i knew all the activities going on in the area. Saved me a cookie when he was baking them and even checked in on me later on in the evening when he saw me outside just to see if everything met my expectations. I will be staying here everytime im in the area from now on!!
