- Anja (3/5): - Sehr unangebrachtes Verhalten von Seiten des Hotels, beim Auschecken und Bezahlen. Es ging so weit, daß wir die Polizei gerufen haben.
- Jon (7/5): - Breakfast is fantastic, wide variety of breads, cheeses, eggs and bacon. The room was small and a little dated but had a balcony and mountain view. Also there is a small sauna, but have to ask staff to turn it on and wait 20 minutes. There is no reception staffed at the hotel, you have to go across the street to check in. I was unable to cancel my second night without paying the full price.
- Storms (6/5): OK maar geen topper - Propere kamers, goede bedden, lekker rustig. Heel goed ontbijtbuffet. Fijne sauna. Onze hond was welkom aan een acceptabele kost (€50 voor een week). Enkele maanden voor ons verblijf kregen we bericht dat we ten laatste de volgende dag het diner voor de hele week bij moesten boeken. Er was volgens deze mail niets anders in de buurt waar we konden eten, en als we ter plekke beslisten om in het restaurant van het hotel te eten, zou dit veel duurder zijn. Uiteindelijk hebben we de meeste avonden elders gegeten zonder problemen (wel auto voor nodig). Het dinerbuffet in het hotel is ok maar voor dezelfde prijs kan je in de restaurants in de buurt beter eten. De uitbater was ronduit onvriendelijk. De skiruimte was te klein voor het aantal gasten, botten konden niet elke avond op de verwarmers. De sauna is heel fijn als je op het juiste moment komt, maar soms was het echt aanschuiven. De dunne gordijnen op de slaapkamers laten veel licht door. De factuur aan het einde van de week is heel onduidelijk, er staan gewoon wat bedragen op voor bar en restaurant, maar wat ze nu precies hebben aangerekend...?

Die Unterkunft wird von Hotel gegenüber geführt. Das wird aber weder bei booking noch vor Ort durch einen Hinweis so kommuniziert, was dazu führte dass wir erstmal 20 min „unsere“ Rezeption gesucht haben, da die Google Daten auch nicht genau waren. Teppichböden im Zimmer und badezommerausstqttung aus den 80ern..

Det skal selvfølgelig angives i beskrivelsen at der ER mulighed for opladning af elbiler men stedet skal selvfølgelig også sørge for at den ikke er blokeret af benzinbiler.
- I-traveller (5/5): Austrian hosts no longer as friendly as I remember; this particular hotel not at all baby-friendly! - Breakfast was fine, dinner was fair, you could find something delicious every time (as you could also find something at least strange every evening) Good heating and hot water for shower, acceptable cleanliness. This Gasthouse is not at all baby-friendly! The only amenity is 1 (one) baby chair, that the mother needed to move upstairs in the room, as she was not allowed to feed the baby outside breakfast and dinner hours in the restaurant (they even locked it not to allow her to get in). Nothing extra for the baby (like heating the food or preparing something in the kitchen). Baby's food (1 year old) was charged equal to all other guests. Second: we are in the Alps, they shouldn't charge the tap water, really! If you were thirsty, tap water was charged on the room. And as we are not in the desert, free water should be available for every tourist Upper floor rooms are absolutely basic, to say the least.

- Ross (7/5): If you want great value, great ‘homely’ food and friendly service this is for you. If you want 5* rooms and facilities - Really good value, traditional Austrian feel. Fantastic selection of foods morning and evening. Top notch kitchen. No frills, which we like, just good food, great service and friendly staff. Big shout to Luke, helped make our stay really pleasant. Rooms are a bit tired, but are very large, functional and kept clean. Ours was perfect in size, large double, with separate ‘lounge area’ with flat screen TV and triple sofa. Also had two desks for working. Brand new bathroom well equipped and very nicely finished - with the exception of speed tape over legacy wall switch?! (I suspect it had just been finished and parts ran out ?!).

- Miguel (5/5): Low value for money - A lot of young and motivated people working in the hotel, they were friendly and knew how to do their job. Beds were fine. The rooms were old and dark, there was not even a glass or a bottle of water in the rooms, the toilet was very dirty, there was only a mini waste bin in the bathroom, you could hear the other guests speakinh through the walls. I wanted to be positive in my review but I have to be honest, I am definitely not coming back.

- Tomáš (2/5): Bad experience. - During the breakfast at 8:45am (it should be till 10am) the staff started to pick away the food from buffet. We informed the staff that we didnt end our breakfast yet and that we would like to pick some more food. The staff completly ignored us with words that everyone has already been on breakfast. We went to complain to the reception desk. Lady from reception came to tell the staff that this behaviour is not possible so the staff gave us back the food to the buffet. We have never met on any hotel so rude and unpolite staff. We are german/english speakers so the hotel staff understood well what we were telling them. It is completly unacceptable that hotel staff will be so rude and cancel breakfast 1:15h before the official end!! Very bad experience and for sure we will not choose this hotel again. The second bad experience was when the cleaning staff came to our room when we were taking nap during afternoon. They are missing "do not disturb" tag on doors.

- Martin (7/5): Would I come back? Yes for the right price. - I like the location (one village from Hintertux resort up and Zilletal ski area down by fee ski bus). Accommodation was OK, room a bit basic but clean. As I came for skiing and not spending time in the room I did not mind. Food could have been better, especially at the dinner on the first night I had little choice. It got better as more people came to the hotel. Last year I was in Badhotel Kirchler and the food quality was incomparable, in Kirchler they really spoiled me.

Die Zimmer (Doppelzimmer) haben eine ausreichende Größe. Der Duschbereich bedarf dringend der Reparatur (Silikonfugen haben sehr viele schwarze Flecken!!!).

- Gordon (10/5): very nice hotel - This stay was amazing. We just did a 1 day stayover to ski the slopes. the dinner service was very nice. The room was comparatively spacious. The location was superb, only a couple of minutes from the slopes.
- Martin (8/5): Convenient and reasonably priced. - The greats: Perfect location for skiing in Hintertux and Tux skiing areas, convenient ski shuttle 2 minutes from the hotel. Great people and very nice area. Room: OK for not too demanding skiers. If you are looking for a 5 star place this is not it. But if your demands are reasonable this is a nice place to stay. I have stayed 4 nights with my cousins and we had a really good time. The dining (breakfast and dinner) very nice, every day there were good choices (buffet-style).
- rdandkids (4/5): Skiing at Hentertux - Stayed here with my family of 5 to ski at Hentertux Glacier, which was a short distance by car up the mountain or by bus. Check-in is in another hotel across the street. The hotel looked great from outside; the actual living room & 1 bedroom was clean, but run down. There was only one bathroom for 5 people, but there was one downstairs. The living room did have a kitchen sink, a two burner electric stove, fridge and microwave. Beds were comfortable & clean for hotel beds. We only stayed for 1 night (2 days of skiing), so we didn't need the room cleaned. The buffet was very overpriced at 50 euro per person, so we went elsewhere! We actually found a great restaurant at a nearby hotel and had a full menu & salad buffet for 26 euro per person! (see my other review). Overall, the hotel was ok for the price, but needs to be updated and decrease the price of the buffet for customers already paying to stay at the hotel.
- Skirlaugh1 (8/5): Great value venue - ideal for ski trip - I was dubious after reading reviews but i found this place fabulous. Stayed in an apartment with 5 girls - ample space and well equipped. Plenty of storage space. Room was tidied and bins emptied everyday towels and bedding changed once in the week - which i think is more than enough! The rooms were boiling hot but better than cold! 2 beds and sofa in one area with kitchen then door through for 3 more beds. Small point only mirror is in bathroom. 2 mins for bus stop in either direction which are 5-8 mins from 2 great ski lifts. Not walking distance for apres ski bars but taxis aren't too expensive. Food from the menu is a little pricey but portion size is large. Buffet on evening was basic but more than enough with soup options main meal and pudding for 19€. Very accommodating of our friend who is gluten free. I found the staff great! A little german exchange and they were more than accommodating especially dealing with 5 drunk brit girls every night! The boot room downstairs is ample and secure. The sauna is kept clean and is user friendly. Is this the Hilton - no. But for the price and what we got for our money I'd definitely go again.

Accomodation Is very basic and otdated. For ski clubs Is good. Breakfast Is ok. Windows are very old so the noisy from Bussy road Is constant.
- 856darkd (2/5): Bad - the food sucks, the service even more, do not make the beds and never cleaned, they are also rude and the chef is arrogant lazy and obnoxious, I will not recommend this place, I will not go back more because the place and away from the glacier and is not beautiful.
- Lillian (10/5): Positivt overrasket, mye for pengene! - Dette hotellet bød på en overraskelse og scorer derfor veldig høyt! Resepsjon og frokost var på hotellet rett over gaten. Det var et herlig spahotell med fantastisk hyggelig betjening. Alt fra resepsjon, bar og frokost var veldig positivt. Frokosten var noe av det beste vi har opplevd på hotell! Sengene og rommet på fastholder hadde også bra standard.
- Nadia (8/5): Turimo de ski - Mi esposo y yo fuimos a esa zona para asistir a una boda de unos amigos y yo personalmente quede atónita (nunca había estado en una montaña en europa). Cerca del hotel hay una estacion de telefericos apra subir al pico de una montaña donde la gente va a esquiar, subimos y comimos por ahi y las vistas fueron espectaculares, el clima hermoso soleado todo lleno de nieve pero precioso. Estoy hechizada con lo hermoso que fue. El hotel esta en un bonito lugar con varios restaurantes cerca donde podemos ir caminando, cerca de cosas interesantes y no fue caro y fue comodo, el personal fue agradable. Estamos complacidos. Una sola cosa negativa: yo habia reservado una habitación con cama queen y nos dieron una habitacion con 3 camas pequeñas todas lejos, mi esposo y yo no pudimos dormir en la misma cama, eso fue lo unico malo.
- Tangoengel (6/5): Food not good, but overall reasonable for the price - We stayed 2 nights during the busy carneval period. The room was basic, but very large even with table, chairs and an extra sofa. The food I had on the first night was a big disappointment. Better not eat fish! I complained and the waitress did not charge for it and gave us a digestive for free. The Schnitzel was fine. The fondue on the second night was excellent. The location is convenient to the HIntertux glacier which is just 5 mins. by car. Sauna was small, but sufficient. Overall, the price was was in line with the quality.

- ANDREY (8/5): Хорошо, но бывало и лучше. - Отдыхали вдвоем. Номер выходил в сторону речки. Вечером было приятно посидеть на балконе. Питание обычное для таких отелей. Ранее останавливался в другом отеле. Там завтрак был богаче. Предлагались различные паштеты, а здесь этого не было. Сауна и зона релакса маленькая, человек на 4-5.Сушилка для обуви есть, но не работала пока на третий день не обратили на это внимание персонала. Обычных шампуня и геля для душа не было. Если буду ещё раз , то вернусь в тот семейный отель, где останавливался ранее. Название не говорю, чтобы не посчитали это рекламой.

- Jussi (8/5): Good value for your money - We spent the last night in Gasthof Madseiterhof before starting Peter Habeler Route from Hintertux. Due to off-season (July) the hotel looked closed when we arrived at 11 pm, but the reception of another hotel just across the street took care of us. We also got a five star breakfast in the other hotel. The room was clean and quiet (as there were not many other customers). Suomeksi: saatiin edullisesti huone miltei tyhjästä hotellista, johon kuului huippuluokan aamiainen vastapäisessä hotellissa.
- Heiko (8/5): Spontaner Ski Urlaub - Freundliches Personal im gesamten Hotel. Zimmer sind OK und zweckmäßig. Frühstück und Abendservice haben sehr angenehm überrascht. Zu einem runden Gesamtkonzept wäre mal eine Modernisierung wünschenswert. Für einen spontanen Aufenthalt eine gute Wahl.
- planetLondon (6/5): Convenient for skiing Hintertux - We stayed for two night to get a day's sking on the Hintertux Glacier which was wonderful. The hotel is a ten minute bus ride to the lift. The hotel is reasonable for 3 stars. We had a very nice room with balcony (small supplement). The staff were delightful. But the buffet dinner was a bit boring, and the WiFi was too slow to use.

- Karo (8/5): Einfache Pension in bester Lage - Die Pension ist recht einfach ausgestattet, das Personal aber sehr nett. Sauna und Dampfbad sind sehr klein und weniger gemütlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Abendessen in Buffetform war eher Kantinenniveau. Der größte Vorteil ist die Nähe zum Hintertuxer Gletscher. Mit dem Auto dauert es keine fünf Minuten.
