• Danny (10/5): 5 star hotel - Amazing little hotel. Daniel was brillaint waited for us even though it was almost 10pm and so friendly and helpfull. If you want somewhere to stay in Rome this has it all. Convenient to everything and if you want to venture further the bus and taxi stops are 2 mins away. Based really close to the Pantheon the night life is amazing and food was great with all the restaurants really well priced. I cant praise this venue and staff high enough me and my daughter stayed here for 3 nights and really couldnt as for more. 5 star 🌟 Thanks again for a lovely stay..

The pictures on the website showed a room with much more decor. Some fixtures in the bathroom, were in need of work, and a drying rack for towels would have been appreciated.

I was there for 3 nights The staff was excellent , Room was clean very well connected. Next to Pantheon. For youngsters it’s good who come to room late in night after party but for families with small children not good.

• Greg533 (2/5): Don’t stay here - This hotel is pretty ghetto. It's in a good location but it's like sleeping in an army barrack with lots of hard uncomfortable beds. I guess this hotel might be good for young adults who want to share a room with lots of beds that 6 or 7 people can share. The rooms are dumpy and that's putting it mildly. But for the same price you can get a much nicer hotel in the same area of Rome. Two thumbs down. Can you say "yuck!!"

The room had a weird shape and is not pictured in any of the photos on the website! There was no place to put anything because the one table was shoved into a dead corner that you couldn’t even really get to. There was no place to hang four towels and the bathroom is so tight that only one person could be in it at a time. Not a bad hotel but our particular room was challenging for four people and we were glad we only stayed two nights.

This was my second time in Rome in the last year so I had a general idea of the city. Still I found the map that they provided and the fact that they took the time to explain the surround areas and main attractions extremely helpful. I made sure to bring my map back home and keep it for any future trips to Rome. Additionally they provided recommendations for restaurants and even dishes. Hotel was perfectly located near major sites making walking very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Reserved what was promoted as an apartment for 5 and we had no room. Small bathroom. 2 of my kids got bitten badly by either bed bugs or mosquitos. Not a very clean property either.. Upside is when in Rome, you are not staying in your apartment.and location is great.
• Michael (4/5): - The location of this property was extremely convenient. Outside of that, we would not recommend. The property condition was not the best (very hot rooms/weak air conditioner, tiny shower with flimsy walls and weak water pressure, missing bathroom flooring tiles, scuffed up walls, etc) If you would like towels more than every three days, you have to pay. Most of this would have been fine to deal with for the location convenience, but the biggest deal breaker for us was the extremely thin walls. We could hear every word of the fighting couple next door, as well as everything on the street below (cars, pedestrian conversations, etc late into the night). This made sleeping tough, so we were left disappointed in this property.

The 4 person room is very small for adults, would work great for a family with small children. The front desk staff was super accommodating and had great recommendations for local dining and transportation options. They arranged our very early morning ride to the airport with no issues. I would stay here again - just not with 4 women in one room. The location cannot be beat!

The self serve laundromat advertised on the website didn’t exist, but staff volunteered to take our laundry and do it for us (which we didn’t want to do). Would have liked to have a full length mirror (or any mirror) in the bedroom, towel racks in the bathroom, and a mat in the shower (which was very slippery). Even without these amenities, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there in the future.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - We have been traveling all over Italy for the last 9 days, and this is by far the worst experience I've had thus far. Thankfully, it was only one night. The reception desk was kind, and we were initially excited about the location being so close to the Pantheon. We dropped our bags to store and came back a few hours later to check in. Our bags were kindly moved to our room, but upon arrival, we were escorted to our room and immediately thought, "Wow. It's really warm in here." The attendant had already placed a plug-in desk fan in the room and mentioned he put it in the room because the ac was not good. (So clearly he knew there was an issue with the ac, yet failed to tell us before we checked in). It wasn't even bearable. Tried two fans, ac on, ac off, windows open, fans on... nothing helped. It had to be over 80°F in the room. (The plugs that were used for the fans were a hazard due to being wrapped in tape and overloaded, too). After about 30 minutes. I went to the desk to ask what he could do to fix this, so he called his manager. I checked back in with him, and he said he was waiting for his manager to call back. We almost left for another hotel, but he made it sound like there was a solution he was waiting on, so we held out. We came back from dinner, and a new guy was at the desk. I asked him what the resolution was, and he said nothing. They were full, and there's nothing they can do. So we were stuck. STAY AWAY.
• Sara (10/5): Hotel Mimosa stay, July 2024 - Hotel Mimosa was a hidden gem! This hotel was quiet, close to great food, the Pantheon, Piazza Navonna and more! Daniele at the front desk couldnt have been more helpful. He went above and beyond to help arrange transportation for a bag we left behind once we checked out and got it to us before we left on our cruise. Love this hotel!!!

• RKM5555 (4/5): Good location but not much else - I'm a bit baffled by the 5-star reviews. We stayed here, family of 4 (two boys, ages 14 and 9) in June, and this is very much a 1-star hotel, user ratings notwithstanding. A few good things: the location is great, right by the Pantheon and near many restaurants and cafes; it was nice to have all four of us in one room; and good air conditioning. But overall, the hotel is pretty shabby. Linens are threadbare, shower is dingy. The quad room was very small, especially the bathroom, and there were no drawers to unpack your clothes. One day, housekeeping did not come at all, and another day, housekeeping made the beds, but did not replenish soaps or shampoos. I had to go to the front desk to ask for more soap. They charge 3 euros if you want additional towels (they only change them every 3 days). There is no breakfast and no coffee/tea facilities in the room. And all of this for $400 a night. I have to believe there are better deals in Rome. We would not stay here again.

• Gator91 (10/5): Hidden Gem hotel near Pantheon - Hotel Mimosa is a hidden gem. It is a hotel in a building with just one floor and about 10 rooms. The location is about 300 feet from the Pantheon and 5 minutes walk to Piazza Navona. It perfectly fit our needs as my two adult daughters insisted on separate beds. We organized the quad room and it had everything we needed. It had 2 twin beds and 1 double. The bathroom was a little small for 3 women, but adequately fit our needs. We had room for our huge luggage. There was a small refrigerator that we used for drinks and yogurt. Breakfast is not available but you are free to use their breakfast room with takeaway. They have a coffee vending machine by Illy that surprisingly served very tasty coffee for €1 or so. It is not a five star hotel but everything was clean. We were safe. No keys. Just a code to get in the 3 security doors to the room. Small elevator as it’s on the second floor (American second floor). The reception staff is AMAZING. We set up an airport pick up though the hotel. Frederico was patience and kind as we had a traumatic situation of a lost passport when we landed. He had to wait extra time. And then when we were leaving Rome from a different accommodation, the staff was exceptionally helpful in organizing another pick up for us back to Rome airport. We also mistakenly did not close our door fully one morning and the staff took care of it. They were awesome! Gave us wonderful recommendations for pasta, sandwiches, and tiramisu which all turned out beautifully. (Osteria da Fortunata, Antico Caffè, and Two Sizes) I would highly recommend Hotel Mimosa!

Long but doable walk to Vatican or take a taxi for 10-15 Euros. Facilities are not luxurious and have only the basics, but if you’re only planning to sleep there, like we did, it suited our needs just fine, and location was really key. Great for one night.

I liked that I could pretty much walk to all the typical tourist spots I was planning on visiting. So many good restaurants in the area. Only warning is that if wifi is essential to you then this is not the place. Wifi was pretty much non existent for me except in reception area and I know I wasn't the only one with the issue. Mattress could have been better, but I was definitely able to sleep fine.

The staff at the front desk was amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They gave me a lot of orientation and address everything very fast. But the room they gave me # 5, the windows that are used to avoid the light coming from the street outside, did not close completely because that were installed wrong or they didn’t checked them after instalation and they keep partially open and we have to sleep with a room full of light. Veronica and Danielle at the front desk were wonderful helpful and always with a smile. We enjoyed our time. PS. The hair salon below them is excellent for a haircut. Haha!
• MARY ANN (6/5): - Staff was very helpful. All receptionist were all great and able to make recommendations to us. The location is in close proximity to pantheon and piazza navona. We were able to walk from the hotel to colosseum. The bathroom tho in our room was leaking and smelled like urine even after it was just cleaned. Other than that, room is pretty big and comfortable.
• Mark (8/5): - Location, location, location. Steps from Pantheon. Easy walks to Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum and Forum area. Basic 1-star hotel. No breakfast.
• CanadianTravelgirl82 (8/5): Would recommend! - The beds weren't the comfiest, and you have a code to enter your room so anytime someone uses their keypad it is so loud in the rooms. Other than that, no complaints. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is unbelievable and everything was clean. No breakfast at the moment but there are 2 cafes about 100ft from the hotel to get a cappucino and crostata.
• Jennifer (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mimosa. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent!
• MonsieurPamplemousse (10/5): Superb - Small, comfortable hotel...wonderful modern room. Great A/C (critical given the heat waves), fridge. Quiet. No breakfast...who cares? There is a COOP grocery store about 250 meters away...stock your fridge with breakfast items. Excellent location. Superb restaurants nearby. I would definitely return.
• Lawrence (10/5): - Very good location in the middle of all of the attractions and great cafe shops all around.
• andrea (4/5): - The only good thing about this hotel/pensione was the location and strong air conditioning! It was advertised including breakfast- no breakfast included! False advertising! We were woken up in the middle Of the night with the reception phone ringing nonstop and woke up the entire floor. I do not recommend unless you expect nothing! Disappointed !!!
• Explore01137425892 (2/5): Cancelled with no notice - Do not book this hotel. We had a reservation with a confirmation email. We showed up to check in, and they had canceled our reservation with no notice at all. My family of 5 was just standing there with neither of our two rooms available. The front desk worker was very nice and said he was looking for other hotels for us but after over and hour, he said he could not find anything. He then called the owner, who got in the phone. The owner was incredibly rude, said he owed us nothing and would not help us at all. Thankfully, I was able to find a much nicer hotel, the Hotel L’Orologio, who was able to get us in. They were just two blocks away. Stay far away form hotel Mimosa and their rude owners unless you want to show up with a cancelled room with no notice too.
