And the receptionist is an older lady, very very rude. I do not recommend that place to anyone.

The older female (possibly the owner/manager) was helpful in making adjustments to my reservation. • Madison (4/5): - While I appreciate the fact that Travelers Inn is primely located in Ventura, I felt that all the amenities were lacking. The pillows on the bed were small and flat, the sheets were stiff and starchy, and there was no comforter on the bed, only a blanket that did not seem very clean. All the walls were stained or had dirt on them, you couldn’t keep the window open in the bathroom, and we were not provided any soap. We had troubles getting the door of the room to sit properly in the doorframe, and couldn’t get the deadbolt to engage properly from the outside. There was an AC unit which was nice but it was very weak and needed to run for quite sometime before cooling the room down at at all. When going to the bathroom at night we also noticed cockroaches running around in the bathroom. Overall, if it’s just a place to sleep it is alright, but if you were planning on spending any time within your room beyond that it would be pretty lacking.
• Winn (10/5): Find your next vacation here.. - The lady that work in the front office, I believe she is the owner, she is the most beautiful, intelligent, God fearing woman she is also a retired math teacher. She loves her job and it shows through her communication with the people that come's in and rent rooms. She is fair , very nice and very straight forward. She is amazing. I liked everything about the stay. I stayed for 3 days, clean room, quiet niebhors and area. Stores and restaurants are very close.
• marknU6958ZK (2/5): Worst Ever! - Almost the worst, dirty hotel ever! Rude staff and management. Bugs everywhere. Tiny towels and hard to get clean ones. I would avoid this hotel at all cost. Go ahead and book at the rodeway inn, cleaner and bigger rooms better management. Also management at travelers inn ripped me off, I had booked and paid for two nights but the first night was not able to check in due to family emergence. They refused to honor my second night and canceled it. Sent me away with nowhere to go although I already paid. Also, site advertive pool, there is no pool.

The pool was drained and non operational even know they claim to have one and nowhere does it say closed. The building looked run down. The door had a gap. Killed 5 bugs while in the room. Only one light worked. The light on the dresser was missing a bulb. The dresser was broken. Fridge and microwave was dirty. The bathroom was horrendous, dirty, tile cracked, missing and I didn’t even dare to try the shower. The bed was hard and squeaked every time you moved. Very dirty and one lady was extremely rude there. I could hear others trying to talk to her about room conditions and she didn’t seem to care. One of the maids asked me if I wanted to extend my stay as I was checking out. I told them I would never stay here again or even recommend it. Honestly I don’t even know how this establishment is in business and the pictures verse what this place is not even remotely close to what they advertise.

• Verified traveler (2/5): 1star is being kind - Roaches. ROACHES! DOZENS OF ROACHES! The fridge froze all my food, and when i turned it slightly down it flooded the counter. The walls were literally dripping off paint and wallpaper. Mold. No security locks. Do Not Disturb is not honored, had a maid try to come in my room without permission. Literal roaches crawled on me in bed. Slept with my own blanket and pillows on TOP of the bed due to the definite signs of prior bedbugs. Though luckily I didnt get them.

The room had 4 different shower curtains for window covering. The restroom door had no door knob, the light fixtures where coming off the ceiling. pealing paint and holes in the walls. the restroom window had no screen. There where stains and holes on the sheets. The TV didn't work. There was noises coming from in between the walls through the entire night I was not able to sleep at all.

But strange thing is I went out in the morning and there were Lexus and Porches parked and they were staying there also.

The property is older, shower is small, and there's no soundproofing between the walls. However, for a basic place to stay that's cheaper than alternatives, it met my needs. Would stay again.

They were the only people who had our contact details and no one else could have sent it. I find it disgusting that they are listed on Booking.com
