We were facing away from the sea so we didn't benefit from the wonderful view but it did mean we got to enjoy the last of the afternoon sun on our balcony before it vanished behind the hill, which was lovely. Immaculately clean and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would not hesitate to stay again. Nothing- but be aware there are a lot of steps up to it. Although the room we had at the back has direct access to the road / parking, which is great if you have transport.

• Robert (8/5): Very enjoyable stay and would be happy to use this accommodation again in future. - Our host kindly upgraded our booking from a studio to an apartment at no additional cost, for which we were very grateful. We had plenty of extra space and were very comfortable. Also, the free delivery of goods purchased from Marina's supermarket was very helpful. We had no complaints at all. The location would be a little difficult for anyone with mobility problems as it involves an uphill walk, but this was not a problem for us.

• John (8/5): Brilliant view - Brilliant view of the bay and town. Able to watch the sunrise from bed. The host picked and dropped us off at the ferry. Very romantic watching night fall over the town from the balcony. Romance blossomed on the balcony pity there was no wine glasses for our wine. After a romantic night we adjourned to 2 single beds with a large gap between them. The bed was the same size I slept on as a teenager. The bathroom is tiny with cracked tiles. You had stand in the shower recess to use the toilet. The kitchen was hopeless it had a toaster and kettle but you could not use them at the same time because there was only one power point.

Η οικοδέσποινα είναι καταπληκτική, ευγενική και νοιάζεται για τους επισκέπτες. Μας παρέλαβε στο λιμάνι και μας βοήθησε με ό, τι χρειαστήκαμε. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Lovely modern spacious rooms. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Fantastic facilities in the studio - hairdryer, iron, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge. Would recommend. We loved the property. Nothing we didn’t like but if you struggle with steps or steep climbs it’s not for you.

• Tatiana (9/5): Superb - Marina's studios is an accomodation one can only dream of! It's super comfortable and well equiped! The room is large, there is a big balcony with chaires and a table. The view on the sea is amazing! The room has AC as well as a fan. The fridge works good, there is a kitchenette with plates, cups, ets and also a toaster and and microwave! Beds are comfortable. The room is super clean! Marina is the best host ever! She met us at the port and drove us back on pur return. She was always in touch. We spent 5 days at her place and I would gladly spend 10 more! Thank you, Marina!
• Pam (8/5): Beautiful island, beautiful view, helpful owner, extremely cost effective hotel. - The view was brilliant! Lovely sunny balcony. Owner picked us up from the port and could not have been more helpful during our stay. She offered to drop us off to the return ferry at midnight even! We liked the many steep steps down to the street (good exercise!) but if you had impaired mobility it would be a challenge.

• Mark (10/5): Great accommodation - Wonderful location looking out across Livadia and the mountains and sea. There are various apartments with different views all of which are fantastic. We had shade on our balcony in the morning too. Our host was great, really helpful and informative. If you stay here you can be collected from the port and returned after your stay. You can even have your groceries delivered to your apartment! We will definitely stay here again.

• Andrew (9/5): Excellent return visit. - I enjoyed my stay at Marinas last year, so had a return visit. I had a slightly higher located room this time but otherwise all was as before. Collection from harbour, spacious room, good WiFi, balcony with great view, aircon (very welcome this year), delivery of groceries (especially appreciated for heavy water 6-packs). There's no screen between adjacent balcony, so privacy not at a premium. The excellent balcony view comes at the price of quite a few steps. At night, the glass panel of the room's door lets in light if the corridor lights are on.

Marina did everything to make our stay even better, picking us up, keeping our luggage and deliver it to the port and they even had grocery delivery included. There are small ants in the kitchen. The location is very close to the harbour and the city center, you just need to climb a few steps. Marina was super nice since she came to pick us up in the middle of the night when our ferry arrived. Highly recommended Nothing
• Lauren (10/5): Simply amazing, unforgettable and made for the perfect holiday! - From start to finish, Marina made our stay incredible. She picked us up from the port, delivered our groceries to our apartment and was always on hand for any information we needed. Marina’s Studios offered absolutely stunning views and the room was very clean, cleaned daily! As we booked the room with the roof terrace, we had a beautiful spot to eat breakfast, sun loungers to sunbathe on and a swinging chair to relax on. The views from here really are incredible. At night time it is a great spot for stargazing too, spectacular! Marina also offered to drop us back at the port after we left. A very welcoming, kind lovely lady who is very proud of Tilos. Would return in a heartbeat! Nothing!

• Emily (10/5): Very peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely reccomend and stay again - I absolutely loved the view from my room, the room was also so spacious and the bed so comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and friendly which made my solo travelling experience even more comfortable The only thing which could be difficult for some people is the steepness to get back to the property from the town with no lights. But it felt really safe and didn’t bother me much. There were also a few ants in my room
• Simo (9/5): Great stay with amazing view - We were picked up from the harbour by the owner, which was a very nice gesture considering it was in the middle of the night. Amazing views from the big balcony/terrace in where we ended up spending quite a bit of time just reading and relaxing. Bathroom was a bit cramped, and we found one cockroach in there, which was a bit of an issue for my wife.
• Stephen (9/5): Highly recommended. - The view! The excellent location looks over the sweep of Livadia bay, and catches cooling breezes. Clean tidy apartments, very good value for money. Add in free delivery from Yiannis Supermarket, and why would you stay anywhere else? Nothing, but be aware that a certain level of fitness is required to get you from Livadia up to your room.

• Pascal (8/5): Beautiful - Beautiful see view, very nice and romantic room with balcony, close to harbour and shops, calm and very typical. Marina is very kind, arranged sea view quickly and organisation is perfect. Cultural difference : marina waited for us when debarking the boat, we prefered to have a drink on port and reach studio in autonomy. Arriving studio, we speak about this misunderstanding, discovered marina email, and had à marvelous staying.

• Vasily (10/5): That was exceptional! Nice, comfy, quiet, one of the best places I ever stayed. - We were met right from the ferry with a car to get us to the studios with our luggage. The location is right above the harbor, with a balcony and a perferct view of the sea, the town and the mountains. The place is very quiet, at least in the low season. The studio is in perfect condition, exceptionally clean, spacious, with enough room of everything. The kitchenette is compact, but has most things one may need, including a stove, a cooking oven, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster, a sandwich maker and a lot of dishes. Heating is powerful enough to handle the winter, hot water is hot enough and plenty of. WiFi is blazingly fast, 50 Mbps. The staff is amazingly responsive and hospitable. Free delivery of food from the local food store is available. The kitchenette has no microwave and no place to let the dishes dry. The toilet and the shower are behind the same curtain. The curtain is also too short, so the whole bathroom gets wet from the shower.

• Lisa (10/5): Fabulous stay with best views on Tilos - I booked Marina's Studio apartment for 4 days. My sister and I enjoyed it so much, we started for 6! This was my 6th time on Tilos, but my first time at Marinas. The views from this apartment are by far the best! The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped (coffer maker, hair dryer, iron, small oven, kitchen items for simple cooking). Breakfast on the balcony is a fabulous way to start the day. Plenty of hot water for showers. Restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. Buy your supplies from Marina's market/shop and they will deliver everything to your apartment free of charge (and quicker than we could walk back! Be aware that you will have to go up steps to get to the apartments - the higher you stay, the more steps to get there. But the higher you go, the better the views, of course. We stayed on the highest level and just walked the slightly longer way along the road to avoid most of the steps! From meeting us at the ferry port to take us up to the apartment, to the early morning ride back down for our departing ferry, and all throughoutout stay, the friendly hospitality from Marina and her husband Yannis made this a fabulous stay. I'll happily stay at Marinas when I return next year (hopefully with my extended family in tow). Thank you Marina and Yannis!

• Andrew (8/5): Very good - Great view, overlooking Livadia. Spacious room with balcony overlooking the harbour (good for ferry watching) and beach. Aircon, Wifi. Kitchenette facilities, although I only used the kettle. Owner was attentive and available at supermarket and provided free grocery delivery service to room. The room's excellent view comes at the price of quite a lot of steps, so you'd better like a workout. The free grocery delivery service is appreciated in this respect - six packs of water are heavy! At night the room was partially lit by light from the corridor shining through the door's glass panel. I was told that this would be addressed soon. No screen between adjacent balcony, so privacy not at a premium.
• Henry (10/5): superb views, well located, spotlessly clean, friendly and super helpful staff. We stayed for 7 days and would have stay - The view from our veranda of the harbour was wonderful. The room was pleasantly decorated spotlessly and cleaned every day. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need - it even had a toaster, which it quite unusual in Greece. Marina picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off there when we left. Our purchases from her brother’s supermarket were delivered to us without payment. The tv had bbc world, The staff were polite and friendly. There was nothing to dislike
• Andrew (8/5): Very good - Even though our ferry was delayed by a couple of hours our host Marina was there to pick us up at the port and took us back to the port when we left. Great location, spacious and clean room with a compact kitchen but great for our needs. Stunning views and a spacious balcony to sit at and look over the town. There are a lot of steps up to the property so be prepared for that but we quickly got used to it. We loved the fact that you could order what you needed from the supermarket that is owned by Marina and they would deliver it to your apartment which was very helpful and saved you carrying heavy items up the steps. We enjoyed our stay very much.
