• andrew (10/5): - Set in the vineyard, walk through the grape vines and fruit trees to your room in a wine barrel! What's not to like. Sound proofing not optimal of course, but good food and attentive staff. Santa Cruz town is very pleasant and walkable just a short drive away.

However, that comes with some challenges such as lack of storage space, but this didn’t impact on our experience much. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The pool and chairs around it are a nice touch. The breakfast is amazing with lots of fresh local produce! Would definitely recommend and return when we are in Chile again!

Cuidado ao reservar pois alguns quartos tem o banheiro no subsolo com acesso por escadas. Inconveniente para criança ou idoso dependentes. Lindo parque com espaços ao ar livre para picnic e churrascos. Também oferece oforu e massagens.
• Patrick (10/5): - Sleeping inside a giant wine barrel is probably the most unique stay we've ever had. The shower and toilet is downstairs below the barrel and could be difficult for those with limited mobility. I think they have other barrels with the the bathroom on the same floor. The staff was extremely helpful and they made our winery tour reservations for us which was added to our room bill instead of paying the winery directly. Besisdes the hotel restaurant, there are no options for dining nearby. The included breakfast starts at 0900 so we needed to snack before.

• Adriana (6/5): Não voltaria. - Positivos: o local da hospedagem é bonito e pitoresco. Negativos: 1- Apesar da minha reserva claramente falar que o pagamento seria na propriedade, desde o início recebi mensagens frequentes da propriedade dizendo que meu cartão seria cobrado e em caso de negativa, a reserva seria cancelada. Ao chegar, a 1a coisa que me foi dita é que eu deveria fazer o pagamento integral, antes mesmo de boas-vindas 2- Sim, é dito que o quarto é uma barrica e tem dois andares, mas o espaço é minúsculo. Não é possível deixar as malas na parte do quarto, apenas no banheiro há espaço. Não há espelho na parte com cama. As escadas não possuem nenhuma sinalização e são muito perigosas a noite, no escuro. 3- o cofre não funcionava. 4- mesmo marcando que não gostaria de arrumação, o quarto foi arrumado todos os dias. 5- O CAFÉ DA MANHÃ COMEÇA ÀS 9H. Eles cobram caso vc queira café expresso/cappuccino. Em um dos dias, não havia sequer ovos no café da manhã. 5- Mesmo avisando que precisaria sair às 8h30, nenhum funcionário foi avisado e ninguém sabia como fazer meu checkout 6- apenas fui comunicada que haveria um evento externo, na área imediatamente em frente ao meu quarto, que se extendeu até às 23h, com barulho, fumaça de churrasco etc. 7- Eles cobram pelo uso das jacuzzis

Hotel rústico, mas muito aconchegante, funcionários super cordiais, ambiente limpo, quarto dentro da barrica de vinho, com TV, ar condicionado e um banheiro enorme com aquecedor de toalhas e secador de cabelo. Café da manhã ótimo e opção de restaurante para quem quiser jantar a noite. (A parte) Piscina com espreguiçadeiras. Próximo de todas as melhores vinícolas.

The rooms are perfect, I mean sleeping in an old wine barrel with a view of the vineyard - nothing tops that! The restaurant has a sumptuous breakfast and tasty lunch and dinner menu. Above all, their service is outstanding! I was able to arrange wine tours and transportation well before we arrived, all via WhatsApp. Their recommendations were perfect and we enjoyed every visit! I must make mention of our assigned driver, Irwin who was so pleasant and such a fantastic host who took us safely around to our planned destinations. We will definitely come again!

• Margaret (10/5): Unique Accommodation - A very unique room, all is then are individual repurposed wine barrels! Fully furnished and have nice bathrooms built underneath. For those with mobility issues, be sure to ask for the newer rooms with bathrooms on the same level. All barrels have a view of the vineyard. There's a nice pool and lounge area. The restaurant is great and had a nice wine selections, including their own own cava. They offer the use of a hot tub and massage, for US$45 each. We didn't.

• Sarah (8/5): - I really wanted to give this place a great review but sadly there were a few things that let this place down. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The on-site restaurant was good, with a wide selection of dishes and wine. The breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. However, 2 days we had no hot water. I was surprised to see the 2 bottles of water left in our room on arrival were charged to the room, when usually these are included. I would also like to note for potential future guests, that the hot tub requires an additional charge - $45. It would be helpful if this was highlighted when booking.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay. - It was a great experience to sleep in a wine barrel. We stayed in a premium room with a good bathroom downstairs and small upstairs bedroom. The bedroom was small - but it is a barrel so wasn’t expecting it to be bigger! Shame there was not a bit more storage space for clothes etc. The bed was also a little uncomfortable and the room was in need of a bit of repair. The grounds and pool were lovely and the breakfast great.

The owner of the hotel apologized accordingly and promised to pay for the repair of my car. A week later I contacted them so that we could repair the car but they spent almost 1 month deferring the repair. After much insistence, his excuses ran out and they finally warned us that they would not provide a solution to the repair.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Unique boutique hotel in wine country - Pleasantly surprised by this very unique experience! The staff and service is absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived the staff inquired and made reservations for wine tasting, lunch and dinner even though it was during the holidays (I state that because other hotels were short staffed and inattentive). The property is very unique and the vineyards and spa area provide a very nice atmosphere. The pool area needs a little love but overall the hotel was clean and all staff was extremely attentive.

Tudo muito bem cuidado, como se houvesse sido inaugurado há pouco tempo. O espaço no ambiente da cama é um pouco limitado, porém o banheiro bastante espaçoso. A internet wi-fi funciona muito bem e o café da manhã é excelente, contendo produtos frescos, recém elaborados e deliciosos. Porém, sem dúvida o melhor deste hotel são os seus funcionários. Todos são muito prestativos e simpáticos e nos atenderam com grande gentileza a todo momento. Além disso, nos auxiliaram a fazer reservas nos melhores restaurantes da cidade.

Bathroom very spacious but staircase to the bath is curvy and a little tricky. Can’t walk to city center but it’s only five minutes by car. Breakfast starts a little late and doesn’t last long, 9-1030. Heating very good. WiFi ok. Forget the word ‘boutique’. This is a nice cozy, interesting concept hotel.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful boutique hotel in Santa Cruz! - This 19 room hotel was in a quite area of Santa Cruz. The staff were extremely helpful and constantly asking us to schedule tours and reservations. It was relatively close to all the wineries. I highly recommend this small oasis.

Friendly staff - some with good English, clean accommodations, private, wooded surroundings with secret hammock garden in the back. There is a lovely pool for relaxing and a spa for massage. Loved this place!

Our Spanish is not strong, and some of the staff have very little English, but they were very accommodating to us with our language handicap and we're happy to keep going until either we or they understood :)

The staff is excellent, they catered to our every request and helped us plan our visit to visit a great selection of vinyards.

The wine barrel accommodation was very romantic - the grounds were very well kept & the pool to die for on the blazing hot day we were there. Very nice staff, too.

• Scott (10/5): Very unique experience! - One of a kind boutique hotel where the rooms are actually refurbished antique wine vats. The rooms are very nice, though a bit small (it's an old wine vat, so that should be expected). The grounds are beautiful with a spa, hot tubs, sparkling pool, gardens, vineyard, and a cute little pond. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. We also had a nice meat and cheese plate with a bottle of local wine as a snack. Highly recommended.
• Paul (10/5): Recycling to the max! - The friendy staff at this super relaxing venue made our stay even more enjoyable. A refreshing break in beautiful countryside, well worth a visit.
• Mario (10/5): Sleeping inside a wine barrel - If you want something different but quaint this is the place to go. You actually sleep inside an oversized wine barrel!
• Verified traveler (8/5): sleeping in a wine barrel - Very original hotel, with the rooms made out of old wine barrels. The rooms are very well set up and cozy, although I'd recommend inproving the heating system. The breakfast was OK except for the fact they only serve instant coffee! The spa still needs some work, there seemed to be a total discoordination among the staff about the scheduling. Overall, I recommend staying there but avoiding the 'extras'.
