- Jemas (10/5): -
- TIJANI (6/5): -
- Sheena (9/5): - Clean, comfortable room in fantastic central location. They were very accommodating when we contacted them wanting to change to a bigger room than the one we booked.
- Ricky (10/5): Enjoyed it - Close to everything Noise from other buildings
- Gillian (5/5): good - location, customer service was great - what I expected in a budget hotel The rooms themselves were clean, but passage ways were filthy. Breakfast - stale bread, fruit salad was brown and yoghurt and milk not kept cold
- Christine (8/5): Enjoyable - Location and price It was fine
- K (10/5): - Amazing Nothing
- Tracy (8/5): -
- Sharon (9/5): -
- peter (6/5): - location , size ok, bed good shower good no toilet brush!! lock did not work easily ! tv poorly fixed to wall ,
- Casper (6/5): Basic accommodation on a good location - Good location! Walking distance to many highlights. Strange shower..
- Chris (7/5): Good location and fair room at that price. - Great location. Decent value at the price. Room was little pokey and no natural light at all.
- Ian (10/5): -
- Amaru (6/5): - We stayed at Ibis Budget Melbourne for one night and found it to be an ok option for a short stay. The check-in and registration process was easy and straightforward.
The location made it easy to get around Melbourne and access nearby shops, restaurants and transport.
The room itself was simple but comfortable and worked for what we needed for a single night stay after a full day and night out in the city.
Overall, it was a good value for a quick stop in Melbourne however would not stay more than over night! The carpets between the elevators and the rooms are really really filthy
- Andrew (8/5): Great Location , Close to everything good value for money - Great location , close to everything , staff friendly and good value for money Met expectations
- Max (6/5): -
- Clinton (6/5): Pleasant - Location Noisy room, no shower door
- Bridget (6/5): No frills but friendly staff - The staff were great, friendly and helpful.
The location was awesome, very central. We had to change rooms as the bathroom was actually in the bedroom just a lino area sectioned off by a curtain. Very odd.
- Chris (9/5): Great Budget Stay, Excellent Location. Will be back. - Couldn't beat the price or location. Comfy room on a budget. If anything, The Bathroom setup a little weird with only a shower curtain as privacy.
- suzanne (9/5): - Continent.. very easy. Great breaky
- Cleo (7/5): - Great location Something really noisy just outside my room. Kettle didnt work. No staff at desk at check out.
- Geoffery (6/5): Ok - Did not have the breakfast The shower and bathroom
- Paul (10/5): Perfect overnight stay. - The location to the venue I was attending. Perhaps the bed was too close to the wall, making it difficult for me to walk around.
- Josh (3/5): -
- John (10/5): -
- Rauno (8/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Meho likes the Ibis - Great location, reception staff very helpful and friendly.
Price perfect for passing through Melbourne for the night. Comfy bed. Smallish room probably the only thing,
Toilet button a bit dodgy, shower screen missing one panel but they are doing maintenance.
- Catherine (7/5): -
- Ian (10/5): -
- jennifer (10/5): excellent - excellent location, room was clean and beds really comfortable - close to public transport and close to shops, very friendly and helpful staff members it was geat being able to get in to our room early after a long train trip
- Sonja (4/5): First and last stay. - An awful "bathroom". I wouldn't even call it that. As above
- Hassen (9/5): -
- Théo (8/5): -
- Olivia (3/5): Overall disappointing. Staff was super friendly and location is prime. Felt dirty and itchy leaving hotel. - Location and friendly staff Room & even hallways felt outdated, cramped, and dirty - including what looked like a flea on the wall; room didn’t look like pictures and wasn’t expecting hospital style bathroom; Toilet flooded all over floor; Breakfast was 1/10 - no protein assortment just stale bread and yogurt (waste of paying to add on breakfast)
- Mandy (8/5): -
- Andrea (8/5): - Helpful staff. Amazing location- so close to river walkways. For the price the decor is totally fine.
- Ray (10/5): -
- Ellie (7/5): Convenient and easy. - Close to the airport. There was no sink in the bathroom to wash your hands after the toilet. They are very small rooms
- dyl (10/5): -
- Hassen (9/5): -
- colin (5/5): very basic accomodation but central - close to transport, friendly staff, central location, surprisingly spacious soiled carpets , stains on the walls, musty smell in the room, toilet was very small
- Jeremy (3/5): -
- Luke (7/5): Not bad, would stay again. - Nice quiet room. No parking, i guess that was my responsibility to find that out, ibis have a deal with the carpark around the corner, but when I got there the guy at Ibis hadn't bothered to let them know I was coming, so that took a while to sort out, then when I was leaving, two days later, the carpark guy tried to scam me into paying more than the agreed $35 per day, a real scumbag.
So next time I stay in Melbourne for a show I will leave my car at home.
- sukanya (10/5): - Staff and location None
- Sandy (10/5): Best budget stay in Melbourne by far - Always a comfortable bed & nice white linen & clean
I love staying at ibis budget for its position & afordability Nothing
- Bettio (10/5): - Location
- Kelly (7/5): Very convenient. A bit shabby but good value for money - Location excellent. Bed comfortable and shower good . Reception staff very obliging Poor lighting in my room, but staff provided a lamp.
- Taylah (6/5): -
- Lockyer (8/5): -
- Matt (7/5): -
- Samantha (3/5): Even if cheap, not worth it - Shower was missing one of the door panels, bright light on the tv directly in front of your bed all night, air vent above shower loud and constant, couldn't tell if the aircon was working. Room was clean, hotel public areas were not.
- Irene (10/5): Fantastic - It's clean and very accessible
- Emese (8/5): Good time, great location - Great location and a great value for money.
Got fresh towels every day.
Staff were friendly. Our room was somehow to the side and didn’t get much light at all. Also, we didn’t get a hairdryer (compared to other ibis hotels I’ve stayed at).
These are obviously minor details, we enjoyed our stay overall.
- Hiromi (7/5): Easy access to trams, trains and shopping malls. Friendly and helpful staff. - Great location. Friendly staff. Shower door was… different 😅
- Karen (10/5): Cheap but needs a good carpet clean especially in the hallways - The carpets were horrible not sure they have ever been cleaned. Bed was perfectly comfortable. Great location, lovely staff. Leaky toilet, but they moved us to another room, which was great. But that toilet ran all night as well. Can't beat the cheap price though and location.
- Nicholas (7/5): - Big television and comfortable bed Shower was small and didn't have a door
- Helen (7/5): - The location, ease of getting in and out of the room The reception on the TV was shaky.
- Angela (8/5): - Perfect location
- Karen (5/5): - Main reception is nice but carpet throughout hotel is stained and marked. Felt it needed an update in decoration and general maintenance
- Mark (10/5): Excellent - N/A Bigger room
- Lidija (10/5): -
- Coral (3/5): - Location Shower in room. No privacy when sharing. Cracked shower base & basin. Stained & dirty carpets
- Wilson (7/5): -
- Julia (5/5): -
- Tara (2/5): Conveniently located but unpleasant stay - The toilet smelt of cigarettes. The shower leads straight to the carpet. There was a hair dye bottle in the shower, makes us question the cleaning service. The light switch on the bed didn’t work and one light was completely missing. Big was missing a bag.
- Naomi (4/5): -
- jennifer (10/5): - excellent location , close to shops , trains, trams
- Ann (10/5): - The convenient location and the value for .money.
- AUGUSTINE (2/5): -
- Edmund (10/5): -

- Guest (10/5): -
- Ann (9/5): -
- Glenn (6/5): -
- Anna (7/5): the facilities are slightly dated but serve their purpose fine for a good price, kind staff make the stay more comfortab - the hotel staff were super lovely, the two people i spoke to went above and beyond and i felt very safe and welcomed :) the fridge and maybe some other electronics were very loud, i could hear and feel the buzzing when i had my ear to my pillow. the rooms feel dated but this is reflected in affordability
- vertigan (10/5): - One employee was incredibly sweet and welcoming and the location was amazing, I cannot ride elevators and was placed on 7th floor and I asked to change rooms based on that, and they swapped me to floor 1 There was a bedside light broken and a bit of gunk in the fridge but it was amazing despite that
- Rebecca (5/5): - The location and the friendly helpful staff It was filthy, the bathroom should be condemned
