• Browne (8/5): - Easy walk to Seoul Station, easy check in and out for a short stay in Seoul.
• Brigitte (10/5): 100% Weiterempfehlung - SUPER Lage! Zum einen nur wenige Minuten fussläufig von Seoul Station / Exit 12, was wirklich ein Hit ist, zum anderen, wenn die Subway nach Mitternacht nicht mehr fährt ist man auch zu Fuß relativ schnell vom Zentrum zurück. Als Nächstes sind die beiden Bäder pro Etage mit 5 Zimmer ein Hit, anders als in anderen Unterkünften kam es hier nie zum „Stau“ und man hätte ggf. auch auf ein anderes Stockwerk ausweichen können. Das Personal - super nett und hilfreich, auch hier 10/10 Punkte! Die Küche im Basement mit Kaffee-Ecke und und fürs Frühstück gefüllten Kühlschrank ist auch ein Hit. Wenn du also ein Guesthouse suchst, bist du hier sicher an einem guten Ort. Hellhörige Wände und eher härtere Matratzen? Das ist Standard hier in Südkorea. Man gewöhnt sich einfach besser dran … dafür ist hier alles sauber und sicher!

• Alexander (8/5): Simple and clean accommodation - Very clean, friendly staff. If you search a simple accommodation close to the central station, this might be a good choice. Rooms are small and basic nit its a good value.. Breakfast is very basic. Toast with jam and peanutbutter, cornflakes and yoghurt.

• Catherine Victoria (7/5): Good value for money in the city centre - Location was excellent. Kitchen facilities were well stocked and breakfast food was lovely. Bathrooms were kept clean throughout the day after use as was the kitchen. Bed was relatively small and sheets were well used and could do with replacement. We arrived late at night so checked in ourselves which was great, but we could have done with being shown around to the different facilities when staff arrived the next day. However, they were helpful when asked.
• Beatrix (7/5): Preis-Leistungsverhältnis geht garnicht. - Die Lage ist sehr gut an der Seoul Station. Und für ein Guesthouse ist es perfekt, mit Waschmaschine und Küchenbenutzung und Frühstück, was allerdings sehr zuckerhaltig ist. Einzig der Preis geht garnicht und das Bett ist weniger bequem. Den Preis für 100€ die Nacht finde ich unverschämt, selbst die Hälfte ist für ein Minizimmer ohne Fenster mit Gemeinschaftsbad schon weltweit sehr teuer. Und wenn das für Seoul üblich ist, würde ich nicht nochmal dort hinfahren. So schön finde ich die Stadt nicht, z.B. Tokio oder Hongkong sind viel attraktiver und da bekommt man für 100€ ein schönes Hotelzimmer.

• Dinh Phuong Nhi Michelle (9/5): Works will for short stays - Hot water ans strong water pressure. Communication from host was great and directions to accommodation were very clear. Water filter is provided and washing machine and dryer were very straight forward to use. Heater in the room worked well. The lock for the room took a bit to figure out. Room was on the smaller side but to be expected.

Thanks to you, everything was clean and tidy, and considering the number of guests, that’s not easy. The location is excellent, everything is easily accessible. This is already the second time I’ve chosen this area. The soundproofing is weak, as in most other places.

I highly recommend this place, especially for solo travelers. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was nicer than I expected for the price and very comfortable. The bathroom was pleasant. I was a young solo female traveler and felt secure. Sometimes the walk in from Seoul Station in the dark was tough, but there were rarely people out in the area at night. Highly recommend! It's kind of uphill from Seoul Station exit 12 (so be prepared to struggle a little if you're coming in on public transportation and with a suitcase). No elevator (so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs if not on first floor).

Bathrooms clean and equipped with shower gel and shampoo. Laundry and breakfast included. Honestly no faults !! All the staff members were so friendly and helpful, really made our trip !! NOTHING !

The room was clean and organized and the shared bathroom was very clean with good quality products. The staff was amazing and provided a personalized service, ready to answer all day, and very convenient to each customer. It was my first time in this kind of housing, and I would definitely come back!

Walking distance to Namsan Park too. Access to filtered hot and cold water, free breakfast offerings and hot drinks, including use of kitchen facilities for dinner if needed. my room was comfortable and clean, and I liked that I had a clothes stand and hooks on the wall to keep things tidy

• Alai (8/5): Excelente Ubicación - Está my bien ubicado! Además, que es muy cómodo llegarle en transporte público desde el aeropuerto. Incluye desayuno, que aunque es bastante sencillito, tiene lo necesario para una buena base (yo, por ejemplo, completaba con alguna cosita que me compraba yo). Tiene locker para poder guardar las cosas, lo que vino genial el día que nos fuimos porque pudimos dejarlas ahí mientras dábamos una última vuelta antes de agarrar nuestro avión en la noche. El espacio de la habitación para dos personas era muy pequeño, sobre todo porque viajamos con maletas grandes. El baño era compartido y la ducha no es separada del resto del baño, entonces muchas veces, si alguien se había bañado y no había secado el espacio, todo estaba empapado. No sé si es porque Seúl es costoso en términos de hospedaje en general, pero la calidad-precio, en comparación con otros países asiáticos, no es tan positiva.

• JOELLE (7/5): Parfait pour séjour court (j'y suis restée 2 nuits). - Chambre pas chère et propre, à proximité de la principale gare de Seoul donc très pratique. Lit une personne confortable. Bonne communication, facile à trouver. Ce n'est pas cher donc on n'attend pas un confort +++ !! La chambre est très petite et l'escalier pour accéder à la pièce petit déjeuner dans la cave aménagée est très raide.
• Laura (9/5): Good location - What I like most is that the staff is very kind and helpfulness. They also make sure everything is clean and tidy. The accommodation has everything you need if you are staying a few days and want to explore Seoul. Overall it's good, but the pillows could be improved as they're uncomfortable to sleep on. Also, adding some fruit, ham, or cheese to the breakfast would be a nice touch.

• Анастасија (9/5): - The location was very convenient. It's very close to Seoul station, so you can transfer anywhere you want. The staff is so sweet, always polite, and answered all my questions. I called Jay late at night when I was going to the accommodation, he explained the location to the taxi driver and stayed on the phone with me until I got in. 😊 Maybe just clean the blinds on the windows a bit, that's it.

• April (9/5): Guesthouse walking distance to Seoul Station - Friendly and helpful staff before arrival and while staying. Very clean in room and bathrooms. Bed and linens very nice. Room had a desk, place to hang clothes, shelf, hair dryer, and safe. The room is like a dorm room in the sense you can hear other people in their rooms but you have your own room so have more privacy. I met great people in the communal basement/kitchen area and used the washing machine and dryer (free). A short walk from Exit 12 at Seoul Station near subway lines 1 & 4. Limousine bus stops also a close walk on the eastern side of Seoul Station (to the south) or can walk up to the Seoul Station which is further away). I think the bus might be easier than the AREX train as the AREX train station is on the West side of Seoul Station and probably a 15-20 minute walk (especially if you have a big bag and need to avoid stairs). Also, on the day I left the AREX train started at 6 am which was not early enough for me to arrive at Incheon Airport. Buses leave earlier. I ended up taking a taxi using the k.ride app. Uber (use any taxi option) also works but expensive. I walked to Seollo 17, Seoul Tower, Myeongdong, Insadong, Naksan Park (great for sunset and night lights overlooking Seoul), and other places (some are long walks. Nice to have a breakfast included. Also a 7-11 a block away. Other reviews have listed things that some people may not like.

• Harriet (10/5): A heartwarming and unforgettable place in the centre of Seoul - A beautiful and heartwarming place to stay, just a five minutes walk from Exit 12 of Seoul Station. The friendliest place I have ever visited in my 63 years. The host treated me like family and the place was spotless and cozy. I have stayed in five star hotels with less hospitality and warmth. I will never forget the feeling I got when I arrived. It was like coming home from a trip and not the other way around. A big thank you from the bottom of my heart to Jay and the rest of the staff. You made my stay unforgettable and beautiful. I already want to come back, after only two weeks at home. Maybe one day I will, because I fell in love with Seoul, Aroha Guesthouse and the beautiful experience you contributed to with your kindness and hospitality🩷 The only thing I missed was a drying rack to scrape the bathroom floor dry after showering.

The location was great coming from the airport and some nice local restaurants in the area. The room and whole house were very dated and the bed was hard. The area felt a bit rough. The laundry had 2 wash machines and only 1 dryer which caused a long wait.

Bathrooms take some getting used to - had to work out how to change the water between the sink and shower heads. Can clearly hear other guests through the walls.
