• Patrick (2/5): The worst accomodation of my life - Absolitely horrific. Condition of property is nothing like the photos. The most cramped and mouldy bathroom ever. I booked 4 nights and didnt even stay the full first as it was so horrible, and they still wouldnt refund me. Absolute rip off do not spend your money here even if its the last available hotel in existence. The app wont let me upload the photos I took - hopefully ill find a way to do so later so u can see the hell hole this accomodation truly is and that the photos they have here are an absolute lie.
• Ina (2/5): Grusomt - Det var rot over alt og ekstremt skittent. Ikke som på bildene i det hele tatt. Sengetøyet hadde flekker, felles områdene var helt forferdelige. Vi orket ikke være der så booket nytt hotell.
• KUMAR KAMALA (4/5): - Frankly, the photo and the actual condition of the place are poles apart. The bed and pillows are poor with a strange stench. It was a crowded place with people loiterring around late into the night. Some guests were chatting on the phone late into the night. The reception, pantry, capsule corridor etc were all cluttered. Looked like there were many guests staying on a long haul basis with oversized bags. The good thing is the manager KK came across as a friendly guy and helpful. The location is good. Regular cleaning, removing the clutter, implementing strict codes of etiquette and hygiene will help to improve the place.

While located on a major street it enjoys being across from a grassy park so there is not too much noise pollution in the rooms. It was a bit hard to find and the ambiguity between the Vintage Inn and the Reddoorz Hostel @Little India, was slightly concerning.

• Fredrik (8/5): Perfekt för backpackers - Mycket trevligt sätt att bo på med tanke på priset. Kändes som man hade ett eget rum trots att det var en sovsal. Frukosten var inget att hurra över, rostat bröd, smör, marmelad och pulver kaffe/te. Som backpacker rekommenderar jag detta boende! Om man har problem med trappor rekommenderar jag dock inte detta boende.

• Sophie (8/5): Good stay at Vintage Inn. - We really enjoyed our stay at Vintage Inn. Great location. Private pods. Bathroom pretty decent could do with a little update but not bad at all. We slept really well. Timmy made our stay very pleasant and was a fantastic host the 3 days we were there. Would definintely stay again. Thank you Vintage Inn and thank you very much Timmy.
• S (6/5): Not the best - We were disappointed with this accomodation. The staff were great allowing us a late night check in and with booking a taxi, but otherwise it was not great. Capsules weren't very clean as we both found hair on the sheets, the bathrooms were old, small and dirty and the dorm room itself was cluttered and it appeared that some people may have been living there long term based on the large amounts of belongings being stored. The pods also are not very sound proof compared to others I have slept in.

• MF (8/5): 経験として泊まってみては - 最低限の設備は整っているのでコスパは良いと思う。 各ベッドにカーテンはついてて貴重品入れは鍵がかかるので便利。バスタオルはデポジット制。シャワールームにシャンプーなどが備え付けてあるが、私が使った時にはたまたまなのか、きれてた（ちゃんと確認して入ればよかった）3階のシャワールームより2階の方がきれいと思った。 色々書いたが、最終的には一緒に泊まっている人次第と思う（静かだったりうるさかったり） 経験として1回泊まってみても良いのでは？

• Jane (10/5): Mooi hostel - Ik heb een prettig verblijf gehad in dit hostel, de man achter de receptie was heel aardig en wilde je overal bij helpen. Het bed was ook prima, veel privacy, de douch was iets minder want had alleen maar koud water maar vond het niet heel storend want het was buiten toch heel warm. Het was dichtbij het metro station en veel restaurantjes erom heen, ik zou dit hostel zeker aanraden.

• Haly (2/5): Dirty and in a messy state - The accomodation is nothing like what the pictures suggest. The stairs that lead to the hostel is a good sign of is to be expected: full of spider webs, a dead cockroach and lots of dust. The room where the dormitory is was in a messy state and the floor was dirty there were all sort of stuff lying around. The bathroom was dirty and full of people random stuff like soap emptied shampoo bottles.. We simply could not stay there and booked another hotel just after checking in this one.

• FRANCISCO (2/5): Que no te engañen.....sucio y deficiente - Nuestra esperiencia en este establecimiento ha sido horrorosa.Para empezar cuando llegamos no había nadie, la puerta de la recepción estaba cerrada(eran las 17.00horas) tuvimos que esperar 30 min en las escaleras.....lllenas de suciedad. Cuando llegó el chico nos dice que se fue a comprar... Las capsulas tienen pelos en los laterales...si buscan van a encontrar. El airr acondicionado al máximo justo enfrente de la cápsula(tuvimos que dormir con chandal y sudadera más el edredón( temperatura en el exterior (28grados). Tema baños..no cuidan ni limpian.Sucio , mal olor las puertas de las duchas y retretes no cerraban. Todo orinado y se ve las paredes con moho.definitivamente no volvería a este establecimiento y recomendaría a la gente que no se quedara..bonitas fotos....pero horroroso.
• Pui Yu (4/5): worst Inn I have ever met - The comments and scores for this inn in this page are really fake. The environment of the inn is messy and dirty, junk and boxes are everywhere even inside the bedroom. Strangers can easily come in and go out. I don't think the staff has tidied up the rubbish bin in the room, and the bathroom coz the bins are always full, so i can only hold my rubbish by myself. I don't think the staff has tidied my bed for me before i check in, coz I found a lot of little "white dots" on my bed and quilt and i thought they are danders. In conclusion, my experience here was really bad that I don't recommend here for anyone despite of its cheaper price.

• tokachi (6/5): プライバシーが保てます。 - ベットにカーテンが付いてるとプライバシーが保てて良かったです。 ただ清潔感はあまりありません。シーツも初日から黄ばんでいて前の人の髪が付いてましたので毎回は変えてないようです。 あとトイレ、シャワーは男女共用で水回りは汚いです。ぬるぬるしててちょっと気持ち悪かったです。 朝食は食パンとバター、ジャム、コーヒーが用意してあるだけで卵料理とか他のものは一切現在ありませんでした。パンも大きな袋で出してあるのが終わると終了なので食べれない人が居ました。 でも値段の安さとベットにカーテンが付いてることを考えたらまた泊まりたいです。

Location is close to public transport & little India - - - - - - - Could feel springs of bed. Couldn't sleep when not exhausted. Showers very tiny, no room to properly change. ???????? Breakfast is available, we didn't use it.
• Carlos (8/5): Good value for budget travellers. - It's hard to beat budget prices. Here, you get what you pay for and maybe a little more. The dorm rooms are well organized and surprisingly private (and very well air conditioned). The downside is a rather cramped and awkward toilet and shower area, and a disappointing breakfast. But "you pays for what you get."

• Verified traveler (4/5): Sehr schmutzig - Es wäre eine super Unterkunft, jedoch extrem schmutzig. Die Angestellten sitzen den ganzen Tag hinter der Reception und schauen TV. In den 4 Tagen wurde nichts gereinigt, ausser einmal die Abfalleimer geleert, da sie bereits überquollen. Frühstück ist ebenfalls nichts besonderes, man muss selbst abwaschen. Bett: hatte eine gute grösse, jedoch war es eine sehr schlechte Matratze. Man spürt die Federung, die sehr unangenehm ist beim liegen. Im Zimmer liegen viele Dinge herum die bereits extrem verstaubt sind. Die Wände schimmeln zum Teil. Preis für ein Bett 50 Dollar ist defintiv zu teuer. Standort ist super. Jedoch würde ich nicht mehr dort übernachten!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Cheap and good atmosphere - Vintage inn is a good budget option since singapore is an expensive city. In this hostel you still have your own space in the cabine. It's clean, new and the atmosphere is good. Unfortunately the beds are extremely hard and it's not comfortable to get in the cabine. Getting in on your knees is painful because of the hard mattress. Most of the staff are friendly except the Chinese guy, he is very unfriendly. The wifi is sometimes weak. I had a nice stay in Singapore, thanks to Vintage inn!!

Insgesamt ok für ein Hostel, aber beim Vergleich Bilder / Realität etwas enttäuscht. Die Umgebung ist allerdings super. MRT in 5 Minuten. Viele Restaurants.
• RiAn (10/5): MRT도 가깝고 개인공간이 굉장히 넓음 - 아늑하고 친절했어요! 1인 여행자에게 완전 안성맞춤입니다! 일욜 조식으로는 인도식이 나오는데 되게 맛있더라구요~ 싱가포르 여행을 혼자 또 가게 된다면 한 번 더 묵고 싶어요ㅎㅎ 아 그리고 저는 이용 안했는데 루지 이용권 같은 것들을 싸게 팔더라두요!

• Verified traveler (2/5): Sofort umgekehrt - Basierend auf den eigentlich ganz guten Bewertungen haben wir uns damals für dieses Inn entschieden. Zunächst muss man sagen, dass alles sehr missverständlich beschrieben wurde, sodass wir letztlich eine double capsule gebucht hatten. Im Hostel angekommen, wurden uns die Räumlichkeiten gezeigt: im Aufenthaltsraum lagen überall die Frühstücksreste rum (es war nach 14 Uhr), eine Toilette war vollge....., zur anderen wurde uns gesagt, dass wir sie besser nicht benutzen sollten, da man diese nicht verschließen könne. fun fact: die andere musste mir auch erst einer einhängen, um mich dort erleichtern zu können. Dann kamen wir in den Schlafraum. Hier war eine komplett versiffte couch mit eigenartigen Flecken zu sehen; dann die Kapseln: schwarze Lacken mit dubiosen Flecken, harte Matratze, eigenartiger Geruch. Für uns war klar, dass wir hier nicht unseren Singapur-Urlaub verbringen wollen und haben das Gespräch mit dem Rezeptionisten gesucht. Dieser konnte unsere Argumente in Teilen verstehen und hatte uns zugesichert, zumindest eine Nacht zu erstatten. Nachdem wir nun über Expedia verrucht hatten, die eine Nacht zu erstatten, stellte sich das Inn quer. Fazit: eine echte Enttäuschung auf allen Linien.
• L (6/5): Okay für eine Nacht - Das Hotel ist süß und zentral gelegen. Die Betten sind bequem. Für 20 betten gibt es jedoch nur zwei Toiletten/duschen Kombination. Dadurch ist das Bad auch durchgängig nass. Der Bereich der zwei Waschbecken könnte sauberer sein. Frühstück ok.
• Sara (10/5): Great hostel! - The place was easy to find and really neat! Even though we arrived 5 hours before our check-in time, they let us check-in early! After a long night of traveling it was nice to get a shower and a nap before exploring the city :). Thanks so much to the great staff! The only thing that was difficult was that the shower and toilet area were small, but we weren't in very much so it wasn't a big deal.

• Yi-Ting (2/5): - If you travel along as a girl, I totally not recommend you to live there. The staffs are OK, but still not really safe. Someone has stolen my face lotion from my luggage. I felt very dissapointed about the safety there.
• Sarah (6/5): Hostel mit günstiger Veekehrslage - Das Vintage Inn liegt in Little India. Der Eingang zum Hostel ist nicht gerade einladend, jedoch findet man dann ein doch ganz nettes kleines Hostel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern. Die Schlafsäle bieten genügend Platz für Gepäck. In der Schlafbox hat man zu zweit ebenfalls genügend Platz, eine Steckdose und Haken zum Aufhängen von Klamotten. Der Vorhang bietet Privatsphäre. Die Matratze war extrem durchgelegen aber okay. Wir hatten Glück und konnten ruhig und angenehm schlafen. Das Frühstück bestand aus 2 Scheiben Toast, Ei, Wurst und Bohnen. Sonntag gab es indisches Frühstück, das wae dann irgendetwas mit Curry. Tee und Kaffee konnte man sich jederzeit nehmen. Außerdem konnte man Wasser, Cola etc. kaufen ubd auch günstige Tickets für diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten wurden verkauft. Auch ein Wäscheservice wurde angeboten. Alles in allem hatten wir eine gute Zeit im Vintage Inn! Die Anbindung mit der Metro war nahezu perfekt. Man kommt überall schnell hin. Kleinere Kioske befinden sich in unmittelbarer Umgebung.

Reception area is on the 2nd floor,staff are good. they have only one room, mixed with male and female. Stairs going up smells like an old house, bed cover seems did not clean well. They have 2 small toilets and shower room, not clean . No towel provided.

The toilets/showers are quite small and the hangers are too high ... not very convenient for kids. Breakfast are provided and it is more than enough to make you full. The bad part is that the mattress has no cushion at all. I couldn't sleep well as I could feel the spring against my bone. But overall, I satisfied.

• David (4/5): Tiny Hostel - I am all for tiny homes. But tiny hostels. That is a whole other thing all together. The hostel has a mold issue. It first greets you as you walk up the stairs to the second floor office. The bathroom is located right next to the kitchen and the bathroom is tiny. Four little sinks just centimeters away from each other. And the toilet and stalls feel like you are in a small closet. The whole room is the size of an office storage closet. The capsules are clean and the service is great. The breakfast is hot dogs, toast and beans. Endless instant coffee and tea. The location is conveniently located near the Little India MRT station. Glad I didn't reserve longer. Found a better priced space and size about 450 meters away. In short just too darn small for the price.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great hostel - The staff there are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this hostel for 3 weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed staying here. There are many places to shop, eat and the MRT is very close by which is really convenient. In addition, the guy who owns this place is really nice because he even took the time to give me a short tour of Singapore. Very much appreciated :)
• James (6/5): Get what you pay for - Well, staff were nice. But its basically a fancy hostel dorm room situation, so comfort is as expected. Its annoying yo ahve to go through kitchen/reception to get to the bathroom/shower. But for the price in expensive singapore its just about a good deal.

• Madison (6/5): Convenient but don't stay for long - Expensive for what it is. This hostel worked for us because we were in and our within 12 hours. I wouldn't want to spend more time than that. The bathrooms were tiny and dirty and shared between at least 20 people. Free breakfast was nice.
• Cyn (6/5): Clean Hotel - Stayed here for 4 days. Nice standard breakfast, quiet environment, very close to Little India MRT. Eateries around the place. The AC can be very cold at times. The toilets are very small but clean and the warm water works. The bed is quite comfy. Good deal, will come back when I visit Singapore again.
• Verified traveler (6/5): A hidden diamond. - I stayed at the vintage inn for 11 nights. Great location, literally a 2 minute walk from the little India MRT. Right outside there's a ton of places to eat along the way if you're into authentic Indian food. The staff was amazing, very helpful when it came to places to go, foods to try, and they did there best to accommodate me in everyway. This is a capsule hotel with curtains. Great choice if you have no problems with rooming with other individuals. Capsule was very comfortable. My only gripe was when I arrived, it looked like the sheets weren't replaced for my arrival, as there were many strands of hair on the bed. The AC unit is very cold at night so you had better bundle up. The bathrooms are quite small. So small that your knees will touch the door, and your but will touch the wall, but after a few days, you learn how to adjust. 2 of the bathrooms actually have a shower head directly over the toilet, so watch out, if you hit the lever you'll be drenched. Upstairs is the eating area where breakfast is served everyday from 8am to 10:30am, by Emma. Breakfast is light and good, scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of toast, a chicken dog, and either coffee or milk tea. This place is great for backpackers, or anyone who really doesn't plan on being in doors for long periods of time, as was the case for me. I'd give this hostel a solid 3. Though I'll tell you, the staff was so amazing, I'd rather comeback to the vintage inn over any "5" star hotel or hostel in Singapore.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Clean hostel with great service - I've stayed in three hostels in Singapore, and this is the cleanest. It also had an older patronage, so it was quieter than others, which I appreciated. The bathrooms are tiny. I happened to be there over a Sunday night, and on Sunday afternoon the area was awash in Indian men (almost like there was a concert or major sports event - which there wasn't) so it wasn't the most comfortable for a single Western woman but I avoided crowded areas. The upside of staying in Little India is the great food! :)

• Whitney (8/5): Good Option if You're on a Budget - The Vintage Inn was very modern and clean. Shared bathrooms are, as hostels go, some of the nicest and cleanest toilets we've seen. There is a laundry service on site. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast needs improvement. As it is a hostel, it definitely wasn't the most peaceful nights sleep but the bed was comfortable and clean. However, I do not think this is a problem unique to The Vintage Inn but rather an issue facing all hostels. It is close to lots of good places to eat and the train station is about a 10 minute walk away. Would recommend this hostel to a friend and would stay again if on a budget.
• Marcus (6/5): Bad sleep, fantastic location - Checkin friendly and competent. Toilet small (as others mentioned) but separate shower okay. Breakfast lacked anything local: toast, beans, scrambled microwave egg, sausage - could be much better (roti, nasi, ...). Upper beds not so easy to climb because ladder had rather hard/painful edges; temperature quite warm because only curtain blocked and wooden walls any ventilation; felt springs in the bed; only one power socket and no light installed in the cubicle. Common rooms clean and okay. Kitchen nice. Coffee and tea only 3-in-1 - horrible for me. Absolute fantastic neighborhood just at the border of little India with lots to see, famous Tekka Center just 300m away, MRT 150m. So you can get everywhere and have authentic life just next but don't have to stay in loud/too westernized environment.
• Ajax (10/5): Great place to stay for cheap - The staff was great and the hostel is close to the subway stn (little India). They even serve a pretty decent breakfast. The only thing is the bathroom stalls are tiny and it's hard to put your clothes anywhere.
• Aurness & Pooja (2/5): This is a one night stay hotel - Not what we expected (even if it's value for money). Capsules are not vacuumed, they just changed the bed sheets. The breakfast lady is not friendly at all. People just put their baggage/luggage everywhere in the room. Don't believe what you see in the pictures (especially for the bathroom).
• Doo Young (10/5): Great place to stay less than a week - It's good place to stay short or long. Little bit hard to changing clothes in the capsule, but it doesn't matter,I think. Small bathroom and shower place is little bit uncomfort but they bring hair drier and nice breakfast, a/c system.
• Kristy (10/5): very clean, safe and friendly - This was our first time to Singapore and first time staying in a hostel and my husband and I were really happy with our experience. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The wifi is very reliable and it is just a short walk to the MRT which is the best and cheapest mode of transport in Singapore. The restaurant downstairs is absolutely divine!
• Mike (6/5): Good as a base - Friendly staff helped with ideas and booking activities, breakfast was nice and the beds were comfortable, but hostel lacked atmosphere with no comfortable communal space. Internet didn't extend to the bed we stayed in so room for improvement. Location convenient for metro and little India restaurants and hawker centre. also turn down the AC! It's freezing in the dorms!
• Noel Monique (6/5): Great stay - Near MRT station, lots of great Indian food around, easy access to city center.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location for transportation. - Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location for getting around by public transport. WiFi is good, breakfast is good but basic. Air-conditioning could be turned down a little and the showers could be cleaner. Overall, a good experience.
• Kuppusamy (10/5): Excellent - The main advantage is this hotel is very near to MRT, and bus stop. The staff and properitor is very nice and giving valuable ideas. Bathroom and toilet is very small to move. Better to have bigger toilet and bath room. In dormitory area better to provide 3 lights for reading purposes.For small clothes drying is better to provide natural hot sun drying. Ropes or cloth stand to be provided.
• Clarina (8/5): Affordable stay at the heart of Little India - We stayed for four nights in the double capsule. Breakfast was served freshly everyday e.g. spicy curry with pita bread and American breakfast. Awesome bed size and clean room! Not satisfied with the mixed bathroom and one of the toilet chambers (out of two) was under reparation.

• Andrew (10/5): Affordable and clean capsule hostel - The Vintage Inn met my expectations completely. It's a very good deal for the price. When I'm travelling I ideally like to have my own space, but as opposed to other parts of South East Asia, it's hard to find a decent single room for less than $100 AUD in Singapore. I believe that there are single rooms in the $50-$100 AUD range, but they aren't very good. On the other end of the scale, there are quite a few $15-$20 hostels in Singapore, but they don't offer much privacy and are quite basic. The Vintage Inn allows you to closely approximate the privacy and the comfort of a nicer hotel, at hostel prices. The capsules have thick walls and a curtain at your feet. I stayed four nights and it was very quiet in the room - absolutely no noise from the streets. Noise from other guests (e.g. snoring) is not eliminated, but it is lessened by the capsule set up, and I would say less noise than some thin-walled hotels I've stayed at. In any case, it would be impossible to completely eliminate hearing noises from other guests where the room is shared; it is a hostel after all! The shower and toilet cubicles are quite small, but this is standard in Singapore. The cleanliness was at a good standard. I only had interaction with one of the staff members; she was very friendly and helpful, and a pleasure to chat with.
• vishnu (10/5): Excellent hotel for a budget stay - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel,the ambience was excellent and the staffs at the help desk were really helpful,the hotel has an easy access to two mrt stations which is only about a 5 mints walk.The cleanliness is the other factor that is to be said about.overall the value for money is guaranteed.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Smelly and dirty - It was not the same as the review. The room was smelly. Bedspread was very dirty, It look like hadn't been clean. I found dandruff on the pillows. Blanket also dirty and old. Bathroom is too small. However, the stuffs are friendly and helpful. Location is perfect.

• Caroline (10/5): Great stay! - For a hostel and for the price, this was a great hostel :) The fact that you have your own "capsule" was a true bonus! I enjoyed the services included such as towels, the power adaptor, the locker underneath the bed... + the great staff of course!
• DONG NG (8/5): very good hostel - It's the most wonderful hostel I have ever stayed. It's located in Little India, especially on the street with so many Indian restaurant surround and very near the MRT. Its capsule is bigger than any other's one. The cleanliness is quite good. The only disadvantage is its bathrooms are so small, so ease to be get your cloth be wet when taking bath.
• natalie (6/5): Good value option in great location - Very clean capsules. Room is cleaned every day but bed sheets are not changed nor are the beds made. Excellent location close to Little India MRT and a vast selection of Indian restaurants. Good breakfast if not a little repetitive. My only gripe is that children are allowed to stay. When you are in such a small room children tend to cause noise.

• Verified traveler (6/5): It's an OK place - This is actually my first time staying in hostel. So I don't think it is very comfortable for me, but I managed. The location was in the centre of busy district where you can get almost everything within walking distance. Breakfast was OK, not filling nor totally disappointing. The place is quite clean. I would stay there again or recommend to my friends. As I usually only there to put my luggage and sleep couple hours so I think it is ok.
• Hannah (6/5): Good overnight place - Stayed here for a night. Nice clean place, only complain is the shower area is really small with hardly any place to hang your clothes without it getting splashed, and the ventilation on the stairway can be pretty bad but no issues in the dorm itself. Staff was extremely helpful For the price we paid, we will come back again.
