- R6403OTcraigw (10/5): Review on Hotel One Eighteen in Tin Hau - This hotel only has 3 rooms each floor, makes it very quiet either in the corridor or lift; not like mega hotels with guests closing and opening doors in the corridor. The room I stay is on 25th floor with great partial Harbour view , very pleasant to look at the yachts from the room. Bed and pillows are comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom is quite modern. Staff are friendly and helpful to deal with. The room charge is surprisingly reasonable to what this hotel offers. Finally, I really like the bonus of using next door Purple Hotel 24/7 gym facilities free of charge. Definitely will come back for my next visit to HK.

We've had the best time, the hotel is in the perfect location close to the MTR, Trams, buses, Victoria park and lots of shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had a slightly issue with air con but it was sorted quickly. Lovely room, comfy bed. I would definitely stay here again.

- DebT (9/5): 4 night stay in Hong Kong - The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious and it is so nice to have a serviced apartment. The location is very good, the train and buses are a 5 minute walk and you are surrounded by restaurants and a supermarket closeby and it is a very short walk to views over the harbour. I would highly recommend this hotel. A very minor thing, the cups are so small for having a tea or coffee!

The room is on the smaller side but thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. The staff were very warm and helpful; although check-in is only after 3 PM, they gladly stored our luggage in the meantime. Highly recommend for travelers who prioritize location and service!

I cried a lot because I’m depressed and I came to hong kong for the new year and Christmas and the staff were so sweet with me, told me where I should go and even talked to me in my own languages ! The cleaning ladies were also sweet, one of them comfort me by letting sweet note in my room even though it was messy, and the other cleaning lady comfort me too and guided me. - annamD9059GL (2/5): Worst Hotel Experience - BED BUG BITES!!! - I don’t normally write reviews, but after my experience at this hotel, I feel compelled to warn others. I stayed here a week ago, and I’m still dealing with the aftermath. During my stay, I got bitten by bed bugs, and it has been an absolute nightmare. From the moment I checked in, things seemed fine, but on the next day, I noticed some uncomfortable itching. I didn’t think much of it at first, but later I noticed that my legs and right butt area have red like-rashes. I was thinking it might be insect bites during my trip at DL, but I was wearing pants with all my trips outside. As the day went on, they got worse, inflamed, painful, and spreading. After a search online, I realized the bites looked exactly like those from bed bugs. It was clear that the room I stayed in had an infestation. A week later, the marks are still there and haven’t healed. I’ve tried creams and antihistamines, but they’re still visible and incredibly irritating. I’m worried about the long-term effects of these bites. As a frequent traveler, this is the first time I’ve ever dealt with something like this. To make matters worse, I’m someone who loves wearing swimsuits, and now I’m unable to do so comfortably. I will never stay here again.

We had a fabulous apartment once again with amazing views and a really useful washer/dryer. The location is wonderful with easy access to everywhere via the fantastic transport system which is both easy and reliable. The staff are all very efficient and polite. We love it and we will certainly return here again.

The staff at the front desk were abrupt and not very friendly. For what we paid for the room we weren’t happy with the view from our room. The towels were hard and over used. So much so that all the towels we got for our last day had holes in them. The cleanliness of the room was poor. We found hair on the sheets and the towels. As well as the floor.

- Wanderer49968698646 (10/5): Excellent service from hotel reception staff on where to eat , places of interest and how to go to places of intrrrdt - The air con in our room broke down on 2 of the 7 nights that we were at the hotel. Staff explained that due to the golden week holiday, parts needed for repair were not available. They finally moved us to a deluxe room and there was no further air con issues . Our overall rating would have been lower if not for the excellent and personable reception staff Angel . She greets guests with a cheerful smile and gave us incredible tips on what and where to eat, how to to to places of interest and even suggested using a direct airport bus close to the hotel rather than the arduous trip via MTR and AirPort Express. Thanks Angel, y you oh are heaven sent :)

After 1 shower you are able to see how the dirty the shower really is. To think this place is rated 4 stars, it is far from it. The carpet was damaged around the kitchen area. One patch of it was actually wet. No one ehat was on the carpet. Its in a run down part of town with alot of construction. It is so hard to get an Uber here.

- Berbang (6/5): Apartment mit guter Lage, aber schlechtem Ausblick - Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers, die Lage (die U-Bahn ist ca. 5-7 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt ebenso wie die Haltestellen der Tram). Zudem befinden sich unmittelbar um das Hotel herum verschiedene Restaurants, Lebensmittelshops, Drogerien, zwei 7-Eleven Shops etc. sowie zwei Reinigungsdienste für die Bekleidung. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist freundlich, spricht jedoch nur sehr gebrochen Englisch. Die Zimmer werden täglich auf Wunsch gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt. Man hat als Hotelgast auch Zugang zu einem Fitnesstudio, dass sich ca. 2 Gehminuten vom Hotel auf derselben Straße befindet (jedoch hauptsächlich cardiotraining möglich). Enttäuscht hat uns die Aussicht aus dem Fenster mit Blick auf den Innenhof und nur zum Teil auf den Victoria Park, obwohl wir das zweitteuerste Zimmer (Premier Room) im 30. Stockwerk gebucht haben. Hätte ich das gewusst, hätten wir auch ein preiswerteres Apartment gebucht. Nur das teuerste Apartment (Business Suite) bietet einen halbwegs guten Ausblick an. Wer wert auf einen Hafenblick legt, dem würde ich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Es gibt kein Besteck. Das Apartment muss zur Vorbeugung regelmäßig mit Pestiziden wegen dem Ungeziefer (teils Kakerlaken) behandelt werden. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist relativ schwach. Im Zimmer läuft dauerhaft die Lüftungsanlage, die man nicht abschalten und den Schlaf stören kann. Für einen Kurztrip von bis zu 3-4 Tagen reichen die Ansprüche dieses Hotel Apartments. Wir waren ca. 9 Tage dort und haben sehr viel in Hongkong erlebt, würden aber in dem Hotel nicht nochmal wohnen wollen, da die negativen Punkte überwiegen.

There was a rain storm and the Uber driver didn’t stop outside and the concierge guy took 2 umbrellas to help us get in the Uber car. It was totally outside his normal duties and he deserved the highest recognition and commendation.
- Amanda (9/5): Great visit! - I think the size of the rooms were great. I was happy to have a sink, microwave and fridge. The cleaners were very kind and nice! The bed was comfortable and I did not encounter any of the complaints in other reviews. It was great although I wish they would have added some cutlery and plates. They are a long stay hotel and with the kitchen I feel like it should be included.
