• jaybV663LQ (10/5): Great location! - Very nice hotel in a very cool spot in Helena. I’ve driven through Helena many times over the years as a Canadian travelling south for one thing or another but never had the opportunity to spend a night. The room was quiet, clean and well equipped.
• Camille (6/5): It was okay. - It was in a good location. Beds and pillows were excellent! I wish all hotels had that bed. It smelled not fresh and a very distinct musky smell. I didn’t like the old carpet, the darkness and that the rooms look outdated. The hotel could use a refresh and renovation to modernize it. The breakfast seemed dirty and sticky. Maybe because we went closer to the end of breakfast.

The staff was attentive, kind and patient. We enjoyed a clean room, everything worked nicely, good job on maintaining a wonderful facility. Free parking, Free Breakfast, Free Amenities in the room such as coffee, tea and toiletries which is always nice. The conference went well and the food was great too. I especially enjoyed the lunches and the excellent service staff.
• headoverheelsmontana (10/5): We Discovered a Treasure in Helena - We had booked the same hotel we always stay at for our gymnastics meets in Helena, but their pool was broken down again, so at the last minute I switched to the Best Western Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel. It was $30 more expensive than our previous hotel, but I figured that divided by four family members, it would be worth it. When we arrived at the downtown location, it was charming to see all the little shops and buildings together, with the welcoming outdoor fireplace and courtyard area announcing our hotel. Our room was beautiful, and overlooked the courtyard. We were sorry that there was no hot tub, but the kids enjoyed the pool. We were able to walk next door to see a movie at the Cinemax, and many good eateries were also within a short walk from our room. Additionally, it was only a short drive to the Fairgrounds for gymnastics, and to the Cathedral for Mass. We will definitely stay here again!

The parking lot is kind of far if you need to run out to your car for something, however they are in the middle of downtown so the space for one is limited. Overall not a big deal.

• dlongpac (8/5): Nice Hotel - A very nice hotel close to the airport. The free shuttle to and from the hotel is a plus. The lobby is clean and inviting. The staff was fantastic. My room was ready and clean. My only issue was with some of the utilities. ALL the electric outlets in the room need to be replaced as none of my plugs would stay inserted. Luckily I had an adapter with me that I could physically spread the plug tines out a bit to get it to stay inserted. The other issue was the hot water in the sink- very limited to non existent. These are minor inconveniences. The breakfast was outstanding and coffee is available early. The restaurant attached to the lobby was also very good- good service and food. Over all a solid 4. Would definitely stay again.

My only suggestions would be to improve the coffee and consider renovating the pool area to include a hot tub, it looks like there may have been one at some point that was covered. Aside from that, we had such a fun stay, and the steakhouse on site was absolutely incredible.

• luckyme35 (10/5): Charming, Spacious and cozy! A real gem! - This was our first time staying at this hotel. My husband and I and 2 small dogs stayed in one of their pet friendly rooms. It was spacious but more importantly VERY CLEAN. And beds were amazingly comfortable! The hotel is situated in a lovely area with a variety of restaurants, a movie theater and even an ice cream shop with an indoor carousel, all within walking distance. A gem of a place! Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Our stay was wonderful, the 3 team members (2 receptionists & 1 housekeeper) we dealt with were exceptional. The only issue we encountered was the shower head dribbled, it didn’t work properly but it wasn’t enough to make us complain. We would return without a moment’s hesitation. The location is perfect, it’s quiet, it’s safe, with essentials close spacious.

The breakfast staff went the extra mile and made my daughter and I a road bag of healthy snacks for the road. As the weather was bad and I was concerned about the drive home. • Scenic13749538295 (10/5): Wonderful stay in Helena, MT - Wonderful stay in Helena! We enjoyed our stay for one night. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast plenty of options and was very fresh. Extremely easy check-in and check-out process. Really convenient via text message to upload check-in information so all we had to do was go to the check-in desk and pick up the room key. Free parking and easily walkable to Brewhouse Pub and Grille for dinner. Resturant connected to the restaurant, Star Steak and Grille, has great drinks.

• PKING_10 (10/5): Helena MT - If you wish to have a top class hotel to stay in Helena Mt this is the place. From when you walk into the front doors you know you are welcomed. The front desk personnel are polite and helpful. After your checkin and you enter your room you feel at home. The bed is very comfortable and the shower head is A1. After a good night's sleep enjoy their breakfast, they have a great pancake maker. Don't hesitate to stay here. I rate this hotel at 110%. The hotel is right downtown and is within walking distnce to Helena's old town. Don't forget theÿ offer shuttle service to and from the airport. Best travels, A++++++

Breakfast was included and was surprised to find real bacon and fresh scrambled eggs along with all the normal offerings. Attached bar and restaurant, Silver Star, is also very nice. • daleo273 (10/5): Worth the stay! I'll be back. - This is THE place to stay. I visit Helena often for business, and this is my go-to hotel whenever I can get a room. The service is impeccable, the rooms are very nice, and the conference center is well-appointed. The attached Silver Star restaurant is great if you want some upscale food and beverages. It's a quick walk to some other dining options, and less than a mile from the Last Chance Gulch downtown area with restaurants, breweries, shopping, and more. Five stars indeed. Have stayed dozens of nights here, and will be back for more.
• 1066RA (10/5): A beautiful hotel in Helena! - This is a great hotel! We stayed a couple of nights as part of our road trip. The reception area is lovely: welcoming staff and comfortable areas to sit. Our room was huge, with two queen beds, superb amenities and tasteful decor. Delicious breakfast and the pool area is good too. Lots to see and do in and around the downtown area, and further afield. We had drinks and food across the street at The Brewhouse, which is very handy. Thoroughly enjoyed it all!

Staff was super helpful with recommendations around town, printed out maps for us. Breakfast in the morning had a great selection of assorted fresh fruits, cereal, breads, eggs, meats. Actually liked the BK more than the restaurants went to. Rooms were nice clean and big, beds are comfy.
• thomasbL3575AM (10/5): Our very enjoyable visit in Helena, Montana - We really enjoyed our overnight at the Best Western Great Northern Premier in Helena. All facilities are clean and comfortable. The parking area in the back is more accessable to the hotel than the one in front, but it is smaller. Breakfast is very good, with a variety of options - I liked the apple danish best. We were surprised by the snowfall that was going great already in early morning. This enhanced the beautiful area.

The price is a little higher than some BW locations but I guess given its location the value is comparable.

• fabianz457 (10/5): Wonderful hotel! - It was such a great stay at the Best Western Premier in Helena. I was there performing with the Helena Symphony and it was just relaxing to stay in this hotel. The staff was very helpful and everything was perfectly clean. Also the location was great - walking distance from a lot of nice places and around 5 minutes to go for a hike. The room was spacious and ready on time, after a long travel. Would recommend it for sure :)

The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. The room itself was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Which is a big win for me. Finally, the breakfast was exceptional. I loved the wide variety of items offered and they were healthy. Thank you for an outstanding experience.

• Suzanne (10/5): Enjoyable stay - location was great, staff very friendly. Good Breakfast and coffee. It was easy to get around town from this location. The only issue was that the shampoo and conditioner seemed like it was very watered down, had to go out and buy a small bottle of shampoo. Also, the hair dryer was not very good, only had one hot setting. Next time I will bring my own.

• BenW767 (2/5): NOT Dog Friendly! - Checked into this “dog friendly” hotel, were promptly told dogs cannot be left alone in the room; this is not dog friendly. We were given a room in the lower level/basement (lovely, I know!) because according to the front desk it has close/easy access to the outside. False: it requires walking up a flight of stairs to access the outside. This is not dog friendly. Front desk was unable to furnish a list of dog friendly area restaurants. This is not dog friendly.
