• Denis (9/5): Wohlfühloase - Da wir auf Grund der aktuellen Situation nicht planmäßig heimreisen konnten, haben wir uns nach einer guten Lösung für 8 Nächte nicht zu weit weg vom Flughafen in Phuket umgeschaut und sind auf das Chez Charles aufmerksam geworden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Auch wenn die Entfernung zum Flughafen ca 2,5 KM beträgt, so ist man hier absolut im Grünen und abgelegen von Fluglärm und Massentourismus. Trotzdem ist man super zentral und es gibt alles in der Nähe was man braucht. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß ca entspannte 15 Minuten, einen Supermarkt (Tops Daily) erreicht man in 5 Minuten und ein großer 7-Eleven ist auch ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es gibt Essenslokale, Stände, Wäschereien und Barber Shops. Wir wurden von der Besitzern herzlich empfangen und ohne Nachfrage auf eine Wohnung in der oberen Etage upgegradet wo wir einen schönen, großen Balkon hatten. Im Bungalow war alles was man braucht, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank.... täglich wurde das Zimmer gereinigt und Wasser in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Der Gartenbereich ist wundervoll grün und super gepflegt mit kleinen Pavillons zum Verweilen. Alles war unaufgeregt und entspannt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

It's budget accommodation, so a walk to the beach is expected, and it's not a 5 star hotel, but budget is what we wanted. If I ever return to Phuket on a shoestring, I'll stay here again. The aircon struggled in the night, but the ceiling fan proved adequate.

• Michele (10/5): Peaceful (apart from mosque) & convenient for local amenities as well as the beautiful beach. - The host & hostess were incredibly charming, delightful, personable & obliging. Our room most certainly had everything that one would need. My only bug bear was that awful noise coming from a mosque a few hundred metres away, at about 5a.m. Which of course is incredibly inconsiderate of ones neighbours.

Wir sind früh morgens um 8.00 schon angekommen. Die Besitzer waren so freundlich, dass wir privat in Ihrem Haus erst mal duschen durften, da unsere Wohnung noch nicht fertig war. Es war eine sehr gepflegte und wunderschöne kleine Anlage.

The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, She stocked the fridge with water and bread every day and always made sure we had everything we need.

The place is very close to the airport, and it’s a nice 1 mile walk to Naiyang beach. Chez Charly is bright and beautiful and full of greenery. So lovely to wake up to! And the hosts are absolute gems. So accommodating! I would definitely stay here again. :D P.S. I highly recommend the upstairs room with the balcony. ^-^

• Cory (9/5): Great spot close to the airport and the beach - Lovely bungalows in a garden near Nai Yang beach. But it is on the main road so it's not super quiet. It's definitely a great affordable option if you want to stay close enough to the airport. The beach is about a 20 minute walk - but better to scooter or taxi to Nai Thon which is a much nicer beach. The women running the place was super lovely.

We stayed for 9 nights and would’ve loved to extend if we didn’t have to go home. Would 100% recommend. It’s walking distance from Nai Yang Beach. Nai Yang is all you could wish for if you’re looking for a laidback and beautiful beach with great restaurants (all literally on the beach sand) and amazing sunsets, either for a full holiday, or like we did, to have a relaxed last week of our month traveling through Thailand. The beach has many tourists, but for family holidays, by far not as crazy as the south of Phuket and everyone behaves themselves. And that 10min away from the airport. Best choice we could’ve made! :)

Not very far from beach. it is far from looking like in the pictures so, I expected to see it colored but not pale as it is in reality . It is mostly looking like guest house and not an hotel. Noice of building construction works in the morning.

We only explored a bit of the surrounding area. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the beach from here. Very close to the airport (about a ten minute ride), but I don’t remember hearing any landing planes while we were there. It was a really lovely spot. We did experience some mosquitos outside, so bring some spray!
