• MAURO MARCELLO (8/5): - Posizione inarrivabile da altri, colazione ottima, staff cordiale. Oggettivamente la struttura ha un po' di anni, l'operatività, gli arredamenti e attrezzature lo dimostrano, ma è pulita e francamente nel contesto in cui si trova va bene così. io ci tornerei volentieri

• Siria (7/5): Ottimo! - Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo alloggiato in questo piccolo ma grazioso hotel circa tre settimane fa, hotel molto minimal per chi ama la semplicità e gli arredamenti di montagna, personalmente ho amato questo soggiorno, camera con lo stretto necessario ma con una vista come la loro non hai bisogno di nulla! Puliti, colazione a mio avviso strategica contro gli sprechi ma lasciandoti comunque scelta, ristorante ottimo! Terrazza spettacolare! La proprietaria prima di andare via ci ha toccato il cuore, torneremo sicuramente Nulla

• Alessia (8/5): Un soggiorno tranquillo con vista. - Struttura molto basica, ottima per chi é appassionato di trekking e necessita di un alloggio che sia centrale, per poter poi l’indomani partire per l’escursioni. Gentilissimi i nuovi proprietari, appena insediati al nostro arrivo. Vista stupenda, sia durante la colazione che dalla camera. Camera pulitissima e calda. Letto abbastanza scomodo, consiglio di valutare un cambio dei materassi e l’aggiunta di un cuscino in più nell’armadio. Avremmo però potuto chiederlo e sicuramente ce l’avrebbero dato, non ne dubito. Ma trovarne uno già in camera sarebbe stato top.

• Angelica (5/5): Non all' altezza della categoria - Proprietaria gentile, unica nello staff che si rivolgeva agli ospiti con un sorriso. Colazione sufficiente. Bel panorama dalla camera. Letti scomodissimi, camera vecchia che necessitava di una rinfrescata. In TV non erano visibili tantissimi canali (non minori, parlo di tutta Mediaset per esempio). E non era un problema di antenna, perché la TV comune non aveva problemi. Abbiamo fatto presente la cosa, hanno provato a intervenire (invano) ma non hanno chiamato nessuno per sistemarla. Dopo le camminate, ci faceva piacere la sera vedere qualcosa in TV...non ci hanno offerto alcuno sconto. In reception non c'è mai nessuno. Hotel assolutamente al di sotto della sua categoria. Vale 2 stelle.

• Marek88 (7/5): - Piccolo hotel situato sulla punta del bellissimo borgo di Opi. Stanze abbastanza essenziali (ma assolutamente non strette), materasso comodo (e lo era anche il cuscino, ormai sempre più raro, solitamente negli hotel si trovano dei dischetti...) La posizione è stupenda, sia per dove è situata rispetto al borgo, sia per il panorama spettacolare che offre. Punto strategico per diverse escursioni (Val Fondillo, La Camosciara) e paesi (Villetta Barrea, Pescasseroli) tutti punti di interesse a circa 10-15 minuti. Ovviamente da vedere anche il borgo di Opi, davvero molto piccolo ma suggestivo. Colazione ok a ridosso della bellissima terrazza; la signora che gestisce l'hotel è molto cordiale e disponibile. Purtroppo non abbiamo avuto modo di provare il ristorante, trovandoci di sera altrove. Magari la prossima volta! Forse la struttura avrebbe bisogno di essere rimodernata un po'. Le stanze non sono abbastanza insonorizzate, anche l'attenzione riservata alla pulizia potrebbe essere un po' più accorta. Non tutto il personale è gentile e disponibile come la signora...

• Emanuele (8/5): Relax ed escursioni nel parco nazionale d’Abruzzo. - Cordialità e disponibilità della proprietaria, pronta all’esigenza degli ospiti. La struttura è particolarmente adatta a chi piace la montagna e fare escursioni. La terrazza panoramica è molto bella. La struttura è un po’ datata e infatti in fase di miglioramento. È comunque la soluzione ideale per chi vuole soggiornare in montagna per andare a fare escursioni di giorno e ritornare la sera.

• Emanuele (10/5): Soggiorno a Opi - Hotel molto carino situato ad Opi nel cuore del Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo . Lo staff è cordiale e simpatico molto gentile la proprietaria Sig.ra Mariangela è davvero una persona squisita super disponibile. La colazione è abbondante e molto varia (da segnalare nessuna difficoltà quando ho parlato dell’ intolleranza al lattosio) La stanza ampia e luminosa con panorama mozzafiato dalle finestre, la struttura e’ inoltre convenzionata con Ecotour e potrete fare delle bellissime escursioni con le guide a costi davvero irrisori. . Qui trovate anche un buonissimo ristorante con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo , assaggerete piatti tipici davvero ottimi CONSIGLIATSSIMO! Che dire ci siamo trovati davvero bene e senz’altro ci torneremo .

• Xinyi (9/5): A lovely mountain top hotel - Opi is a village built on top of mountain ledge, the view of the village when first driving into the valley is almost majestic. It was quite a thrill driving up to La Pieja and suddenly arrived at its door step seeing mountains on three sides. La Pieja sits at one end of the village and its back side faces the mountains and the vast void. As stated in many reviews, the views from the rooms and the onsite restaurant are breathtaking, which simply cannot be conveyed by pictures. We spent five nights here and could have stayed longer, there are many beautiful hikes and pretty villages nearby, a perfect blend of nature and culture. The onsite restaurant offers very good dinner menu, we ended up eating every dinner there, trying a different meal everyday. It was very relaxing not having to look for places to eat after a day’s hiking/walking. We prefer savory breakfast, manager Maria provided everything we asked for, such as boiled eggs, yogurt, cold cut meats and cheese. The best is the staff working there, they work together like a big family, really nice and caring. The resident dog Charlie is a lovely character as well and brought a lot of laughter to the guests. We left with so many wonderful memories of La Pieja/Opi/Abruzzo, and want to bring our adult children back to visit this magical place again Tip: ignore Google maps instructions when you first drive into the village, just follow the wider main road which will eventually lead you to an easier way to get to the hotel. A small inconvenience: low shower pressure and unstable water temperature.
• Marija (10/5): Perfect weekend getaway - The location of La Pieja Hotel is juts perfect giving a breathtaking view from rooms and common spaces. As our stay took place during winter, we really appreciated good heating. The whole hotel is very cosy and time spend inside was always enjoyable. Moreover, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was quite abundant with a variety of things to eat and drink. Definitely coming back! This is not about the property, but a note on Opi and the surroundings. Namely the town Opi in this period (mid December) is quite empty with no activities. But you can easily reach some nearby attractions and town Pescasseroli which is more lively.

Also, a bit more helpful advice from the hotel on nearby trails would have been appreciated - the lady told us that we had to drive by car to get to the trails, but we find a one hour hike nearby the hotel while roaming around…

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Our family enjoyed every part of our visit to this magical little town in the mountains of Abruzzo. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and our rooms had an amazing view of the surrounding areas. Walking around the village and then hiking in the national park was one of the main highlights of our trip through Italy. It was better than our time in Rome without a doubt. When we woke in the morning there was an amazing spread of food for breakfast and we were treated to whatever hot drink we wanted. If you have the chance to visit and stay at this hotel you should definitely do it!!
