• Emma (10/5): The privacy and comfort of a private villa with hotel services included - The owner was fantastic and we were very well looked after. We were traveling with two babies (8 months and 10 months) and the villa had high chairs, cots and even baby floats for the pool..! Also loved the fact we were able to order food as room service.

• Katharine (10/5): The family Markopoulas and their staff's warm hospitality and thoughtful kindness made me feel like I was being care - The property was spacious and well laid out. The swimming pool was a good size. The facilities such as the bathrooms, the kitchen, the fridge, dishwasher and washing machine were all excellent. The property was a good distance from town and from the airport, the properties were designed to give you privacy. There was a lovely veranda and also a patio downstairs. Excellent air-conditioning throughout. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and tidy and well presented. If it is operated like a hotel with all the advantages of being in your own villa. Staff were amazing. The cleaners serviced the property on a daily basis. I had two wonderful massages in the glorious sunshine first thing in the morning we could’ve booked yoga and facials and manicures had we wanted. There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us with a mixture of local foods and plenty of drink. We were also run to the local supermarket on the second morning so that we could stock the fridge with things for ourselves. This was excellent. I was very unwell on the second day and subsequent days because I pulled my back. Manolis the manager could not have been more helpful. He drove me to 2 pharmacies so that I could find the things which I needed his kindness and support over the next four days was outstanding and hugely appreciated. Manolis provided us with detailed information and a small presentation on our second morning so that we could take full advantage of the whole island of Rhodes. We would definitely have taken him up on those things had I not been so unwell. They included the trips on boats, trips to Rhodes city and the famous butterfly farm. He also recommended places to eat in town. We spent the first evening at a lovely beach side fish restaurant. We also ate at another of the family hotels and I was privileged to meet Mr and Mrs. Markopoulos Senior , this family has made hospitality of their pleasure as well as their vocation and that whole ethos extends to all of their staff. I have no complaints at all
• Bibiana (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato qui, eravamo un gruppo di amici composto da sei persone, ci hanno dato una villa con quattro camere da letto e due bagni. La villa era incantevole, tenuta benissimo e il fatto di avere la piscina privata sempre a disposizione è stato sicuramente un plus. La posizione è eccezionale per visitare tutta l’isola se ci si organizza bene. Il personale è accogliente e sempre disponile, la villa veniva pulita tutti i giorni, le lenzuola cambiate se necessario e le asciugamani sostitute quotidianamente. La colazione veniva consegnata direttamente in villa in un bellissimo cestino all’orario prestabilito, tutto molto gradito! Consigliamo di alloggiare in questa struttura perché la nostra vacanza è stata meravigliosa anche grazie a tutto lo staff! Complimenti, torneremo sicuramente per poter vedere le nuove ville in costruzione! Tutto meraviglioso! Nessun commento negativo!
• Gemma (10/5): Would definitely come again.first stay in a villa and certainly won’t be the last - The location - Kolimbia is beautiful. We are a couple with a teenager and 6 year old and the villa/area had something for everyone. The centre is ten mins walk, beach 15 mins walk. The beach is beautiful. We also spent a week in lallysos and all much preferred Kolimbia. The centre has shops and bars, arcades and fair for the little ones. Kolimbia has a small harbour were you can get boat trips. The beaches are stunning on the east coast in comparison to the west. If we revisited Rhodes would definitely stay on the east coast and just spend a day in the city centre which is enough. It is cheaper on the east coast too. Tsambika beach is amazing too, ten mins drive. The island is so small that with a car we visited many beautiful beaches on the east coast. Service - could not fault this. Manuel told us were to visit, and was available for any advice. Anything we needed he sorted straight away. Breakfast was lovely delivered in a picnic basket each morning, we found this was enough to have lunch for 4 with too whilst relaxing by the pool. It was our daughter’s birthday. On the morning manuel and a lady came with a beautiful chocolate cake, candle and gifts and sang happy birthday to her which she loved. The villa - air con was amazing. Kept the rooms super cool. 2 bedrooms upstairs and one down and 2 bathrooms made it much easier for 4 of us. The pool was lovely. Sunbeds lovely and comfortable. Nice dining area in the shade by the back patio door. Villa cleaned daily, beds changed when needed. Clean bath and pool towels each day.

• Catherine (10/5): Fabulous villa, amazing service and experience! - Almost too many things to mention as so many things were fabulous - the communication and service before we arrived, the airport shuttle arranged for us, the excellent service from Manuel and the Reception team (for whom nothing was too much trouble and who went the extra mile on many occasions), the complementary massages, endless help and information and booking trips, restaurants etc,, beautifully prepared breakfasts delivered each morning. The villa itself was lovely, we loved the upstairs terrace and of course the private pool which was spotlessly clean and very well maintained daily. Great location with easy access to town and many fabulous restaurants (Carusel, Ouzaki and Nissaki were all amazing), but also easy access to multiple beautiful beaches. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Really nothing that detracted hugely from the overall experience - if we had to highlight one thing, maybe a little bit of the 'maintenance' of the interior of the villa (shower fitting coming off wall, a few kitchen cupboards in need of repair) But small things and no real issue given all the positives...

Pool was clean and perfect temperature. All the staff were great and happy to help. Breakfasts were generous and tasty. Nothing in particular, perhaps a little dated and in need of a refresh.

• David (10/5): For a hotel experience in a private villa. You can’t get better - There are 12 properties on this complex and all are close but secluded. Ours had a lovely pool (with a smaller one for our 3 year old. The villa is cleaned daily and the breakfast service is brilliant. You order what you want and it’s delivered in a picnic basket in the morning to your door. Gifts on arrival. A host that couldn’t do enough for us. Really great value for money and will definitely be back Nothing. Sofa is slightly uncomfortable as it’s a sofa bed but that’s being picky.

Villa was part of ths street of villas and was very quiet and with beautiful views from 2nd floor (sea view). The pool was big and well situated in the garden next to villa. We liked very much attentive attitude of hosts and possibility to choose meals for breakfast. We had an amazing stay!

A nice breakfast is delivered every morning and fresh towels and cleaning service is provided daily. The hosts and staff are super friendly and help with every request. I would definitely come back again.

Cleanliness of the premises, pool, regular replacement of bed linen and towels. Delicious and hearty breakfasts. Possibility of comfortable checkout. A quiet place in close proximity to the city's infrastructure. Additional bonuses are a welcome gift and a lot of additional equipment (children's toys, swimming armbands, swimming mattresses).

Manuel and the team at 12 Islands Villas really do know about hospitality & service. - The incredibly well maintained pool, all of the staff (from housekeeping to maintenance, management to the room service delivery) the great breakfast (delivered to your door in the morning) the fantastic hospitality, the beautiful villa -all the luxury of a hotel but with the space and privacy of a villa. The location - peaceful but close enough to the beach/shops/restaurants. Everything! From the second we booked until the time we left we were really impressed. After a very delayed arrival into Rhodes (as well as it being dark and not having driven on the left before 🤣) we got lost, Manuel called to see how we were getting on after our flight and upon telling him we were lost he told us to stay where we were whilst he sent someone out to guide us to our villa - within 2 minutes our angel arrived to direct us 🤣 From that point on nothing was too much trouble, the service we received was effortlessly fantastic. We’ve had an incredible holiday and won’t hesitate to return as well recommend it to everyone who will listen!

Bathroom door upstairs got stuck. We were supposed to have had a different layout for the kids room but got a bunk bed within a double room. Not ideal
• Family (10/5): Superb villa - We booked a last minute stay after not being able to reach our original accommodation due to the wildfires in July '23. We couldn't have been more fortunate than to choose 12 island villas. The villa was spacious; 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a balcony with chairs and table and a covered terrace, as well as the garden and pool. The pool was approx 5m x 3m and 1.4m deep. We ordered breakfast online each day from a wide array of cooked and continental items, and it was brought to the door at 8.30 next morning. The appt and pool were serviced daily. The villas are detached, and while you have neighbours, the villas are offset and have walls / trees between, so there is plenty of privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed, including 2 coffee machines and toastie maker. There was a good menu for room service. Kolymbia town centre is 10 mins walk, there are plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. In the area there are multiple beaches; Grand Blue is great for snorkelling. You can also hike up some of the local hills; there is a monastery with views over (touristy but sandy and shallow) Tsambika beach, and the views from Kalimbia Rock are stunning. Overall, location excellent and accommodation fantastic.

Location of villa outside rush area but with walking distance to nice restaurants. Late check out was not a problem. Swimming pool cleaned everyday.

The biggest thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of everyone and how they would go over and above to ensure all our needs were met and we never ever struggled with anything. We were overwhelmed with the family's generosity and would like to thank them for everything. Everything was just lovely! The pool was a little smaller than expected as other villas had bigger pools but it was absolutely fine for the three of us. So there was nothing we did not like! Very difficult to find fault with anything!

• Victoria (10/5): Fab!! - The property was lovely and kept very clean, great for what we needed! The location is great for families who want to stop in a quiet resort & it is only a short walk from the beach. Couldn’t fault any of the restaurants near by, the food was fab! We were very well looked after and nothing was too much too ask, being able to order breakfast on the app for whenever you liked was brilliant. The bus to Rhodes town is only €4 which is well worth a visit!
• Linda (10/5): wonderful relaxing holiday with all the facilities we needed & more. - we had a brilliant two week holiday at Villa Kalymnos. the Villa has 3 spacious & very comfortable bedrooms 2 modern shower rooms & a very well equipped kitchen it was great to have a private swimming pool & we used it a lot. There were plenty of sun beds & a nice terrace with dining table. Breakfast service was amazing & there was an excellent daily cleaning service. Location is good - bars, restaurants & the beach are within walking distance (15+ minutes) but would recommend hiring a car to make the most of your stay nothing

• Maija (10/5): Exceptional - the villa was absolutely fantastic. we had the pleasure of staying in one of the biggest Villas with 4 adults and 5 children. staff was extremely helpful and the villa with all its space and cleanliness was great. we didnt even have a car and could walk to restaurants, beach etc. location is quite and nice.
• Elizabeth (10/5): - Customer service is impeccable! Lovely guy sorted it all for us and even let us use hotel pool after checkout as flight so late. Please book this is a fabulous villa, great pool, can walk to restaurants and a little “strip”. We hired a car for beaches and trips but loads of scooter hire places too. No loud nightlife, go to Paradise Cafe for excellent service and great prices greek food.
• Simon (10/5): - Fantastic properties located close to all the restaurants in Kolymbia. Clean and well stocked (the owners provided welcome bottles of wine, fizzy drinks, and a fruit bowl on the table). Beuatiful private pool in a well maintained garden - gardener seemed to be around watering plants most mornings and the cleaners changed towels and gave the floors a good mop daily. Location is superb. water sports and beaches a short walk or drive away, a small cocktail bar within 5 mins walk. Everyone so friendly. Lindos 30/40 minutes down the road, Rhodes old Town about the same in other direction. Manuel - the owner - so friendly. Came round and gave advice (never any pressure to book through him, no hard sell; he comes, chats and leaves, so refreshing to have sincere local knowledge - he gave us a list of his favourite restaurants and we tried a number of them. all excellent local tavernas) Relaxing holiday location that I would thoroughly recommend.
• AIKATERINI (10/5): Υπεροχη διαμονη! - Παρα πολυ ομορφο σπιτι σε πανεμορφο περιβαλλον. Χαρηκαμε την πισινα κ τη σαουνα, τη θεα απο τη βεραντα κ το μπαρμπεκιου στην εξοχη διπλα στην πισινα. Μας ικανοποιησε η καθαριοτητα, το σερβις κ η αμεση ανταποκριση του ξενοδοχου σε ο,τι χρειαστηκαμε! Το φαγητο που παραγγειλαμε απο τον καταλογο του δωματιου αξιζε τα λεφτα του λογω ποιοτητας αλλα κ μεγαλης ποσοτητας. θα το ξαναεπισκεφτουμε.
• SERGEY (10/5): Виллы супер, отдых сказка! - Отдыхали компанией, впятером в конце октября, неделю. Виллы просто супер! Отличное расположение, приятный обслуживающий персонал, На вилле есть все удобства, оборудованная кухня, все электроприборы, посуда, Вся мебель, собственный бассейн, мангал! Красивый вид на горы, тишина. Да ещё всё это за смешные деньги!
• Deborah (10/5): Gorgeous luxury villa - We had a fabulous holiday here. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The villa was spotlessly clean and the pool was lovely. Maid service every day and the rep also contacted us almost every day, often bringing cakes, to ensure we had everything we wanted. The villa was really peaceful and quiet, very relaxing. The wifi was adequate for all our needs. Kolymbia is a small family resort and we didn't spend much time there, but it was a 10 minute walk, 15minutes to the beach, if you wanted. We stayed by the pool! It is well located for visiting other parts of the island, being halfway between Rhodes and Lindos, plus close to one of the roads crossing the island. I would say a car is essential. I wouldn't recommend it for families with very young children as there are marble floors, split level rooms, and the pool is directly off the patio, with no barrier to stop small children accessing it. Once your children are safe near water it is a fabulous holiday location.
