- Mark (5/5): Very disappointed - Location was good for visiting friends in the area. General appearance of hotel was good. When we went to our room, the heat had been turned off. It was 7 degrees outside, room was in the low 50’s. Heater blew cold air when turned on. We were moved to another room, again heater was off but did work. Took several hours to get temp up to comfortable temp., we opened door to let heat from the hall in when we were there. (we keep our home at 68F, so don’t need it hot) the bedding was very thin, thin blanket, Towels/ washcloths very thin, need replacing. Breakfast was also very minimal, they did have a waffle maker, some cereal but little else to choose from.

- chadd (6/5): - Im sure its hard to keep a hotel of this size fully maintained. My room was musty, itchy, and hot when i checked in. Its a smaller town and i need to stay there when i do, and i will again next year. The old guy is a hard worker and maybe under staffed. Maybe turn the ac on when the room is booked out...idk i work on cars. Id still give you a 4/5 just for being there...the other one is haunted. Id feel better abouy paying $150 a night if it wasnt musty.

- Matt (2/5): - Softball team stayed here and multiple parents complained of the cleanliness of rooms. Our styrofoam coffee cups in room were dirty. Clipped toenails on back of toilet. No available outlets to charge phones. No USB outlets. Breakfast was slim. Would be nice to have a fruit and/or yogurt option. Will not recommend staying here.

- Robert (8/5): - Sleepy hotel that produced a convenient stay during a 4th of July visit for Annandale's festivities. Check-in was a bit different in that no one was staffing the front with a message to call for assistance. Not a huge deal as a gentleman answered and said he'd be right out. Breakfast was cold fair and quick something before hitting the road. room was excellent.

- Leanne (6/5): - The person at check in qas incredibly rude. He didn't want to give me a receipt. We did travel with 2 cats. He was very curt. The room was ok. The cloth shower curtains had stains. The sheets also had yellow stains on them. The housekeeper this morning was so kind and helpful! She should be the front desk agent.
- Tara (8/5): Good place to stay for our visit. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room and facilities were clean. Bed was comfortable. TV didn't work, we could only get one channel and the food at breakfast was only carbs. Was hoping for at least yogurt, but that could be a personal preference. The bath towels were very old and thin.
- David (6/5): - The room was fine with the exception of the shower head almost clogged with mineralization. The hall to the room was nasty smelling but fortunately the room was ok. The breakfast was minimal.
- Lisa (10/5): - The front desk staff was amazing helping me to ewnauee we had ajoining rooms once we were checking in. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were great as we had a situation where our two year old locked himself in one of the ajouning rooms and the door was padlocked and security locked. The maintenance man came back in and got our terrified grandson out. Everyone was wonderful in this scary situation.

The coffee pot was dirty and the tray underneath it was dirty the pool and hot tub. We’re both closed however I don’t think we would’ve used them anyways because when we walked in there, they appeared dirty as well. They did not tell us this upon checking in and offered no compensation when we found out. The only thing that seemed truly clean was the sheets. I did message this property requesting at least a partial refund however they never responded.

- KATIE (4/5): Poor Hospitality - I booked two rooms for four people each (8 people total). The only rooms they had were king suites, so we assumed in order to sleep four, the couch must pull out into a bed. Which we were fine with. It did, but there were no pillows and blankets for the pull out beds! We called to get some and the front desk tried to tell us we would have to pay extra for them!?!? If I book a room for four people, I shouldn’t have to pay extra to get bedding for four people. We finally got him to agree to give us the bedding and then he said we would have to go get them from the front desk ourselves. It should have already been in the rooms. Then, even though we had one booking for two rooms, our rooms were not even on the same floor. The room on the main floor was FREEZING and would not warm up even when set to 90. The other room was ridiculously hot and would not cool down, even when we turned it off. For reference, it was about zero degrees outside. Wouldn’t have complained about the temperature but the rude customer service (or lack of) warranted a review.

- Natasha (3/5): We drove home instead of stay overnight. - It was clean. The hot tub was broken. The pool was cold. My kids could only swim for 10 minutes before they were too cold to continue. A train is very close to the property and loud.
- Kayla (2/5): Wont stay here again - When we arrived to check in, it was FREEZING inside the building. The man behind the desk was even wearing a winter jacket and hat. He told us the pool and hot tub were not working (which was the main reason we picked this hotel). When we got into our room, on the surface it was clean, but there were cob webs in the ceiling corners, dust and debris build up along the floors and behind furniture. The beds are not comfortable. The next morning as we were leaving for my daughters volleyball tournament we stopped in the lobby for breakfast… when we told the man behind the desk that the milk had expired 4 days ago, he took the milk and never brought any more.

- michaeldV5964WC (10/5): Greaat Christmas Stay - My brother and I stayed at the America's Best Value Inn in Annandale, MN. We had a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel has a well-kept pool and hot tub. The lobby of the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel.

- Josh (1/5): Dirty, Rude Staff and very old beds - Nothing at all. Read what we didn't like. The manager was very rude at the beginning and when we needed to make changes. The bed was so old that is was sunken in and the room was very dirty. We ended up leaving and didn't even stay. Asked for a refund, and the manager laughed and said "ya good luck with that" It was one of the worst places I've attempted to stay at. I would sleep in my car next time instead of trying to stay there again.

- Jennifer (4/5): Incorrectly double booked,no house keeping service - Upon arrival they had me double booked. I needed to spent over 30 minutes on chat with a hotels.com agent to confirm I only had 1 room booked and to get refunded for the extra room I never booked. Even though I was exhausted after a day of travel, I was pleased that we got this resolved. And the hotel office gentleman was kind. My second disappointment was there was no cleaning or maid service? During my 3 night stay, my room was never cleaned and even though after night two, I requested from the front desk for clean towels, I still had no house keeping service. Upon asking the next morning, the front desk said he asked the cleaning to attend to my room, they checked iff that they did!? So, unfortunately not the best experience.

The food was not stocked very well but the staff, when notified, replenish to meet current needs. With the number of trains (6) that go by the property at night made for quite a noisy stay. Did not know that the window was open.
