Guest Reviews
- 167barryj (10/5): The rooms have been modernized, and were updated, clean and comfortable. - This is a vintage property, possibly from the early 1960s, that has been kept up and modernized. Don't let the vintage look fool you. The rooms have been modernized, and were updated, clean and comfortable. It had secure WiFi. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, nice people, within our price range. I'd stay there again.
- Happiness01424111700 (10/5): Very Nice Nostalgic Motel - The owner was very friendly and even showed us the room. We stayed thr night of 12/13/25; the night before catching our cruise on Sky Princess. Location of hotel was very convenient to the cruise port. The cost of room was excellent at just over $100.00. Motel had a nostalgic look on the outside of the 60's. Room was very clean and even a melled good. My wife and I will stay here again whenever we cruise out I f Port Canaveral.
- David (10/5): - We needed a place to stay for one night before our cruise. We didn’t need anything fancy, but also can’t put up with the mildew/cleaner smells associated with “cheaper” places. After reading the reviews here we decided to give it a shot. It was really neat staying in a motel-style place. Haven’t done that in years!!! The property is very well-kept. The room was very clean. It’s quaint, but did what we needed for a night. The highlight was the owners. Talk about sweet people who really want your stay to be great. She even calls you on your phone after you’re in your room to make sure everything is good. We will definitely stay here again for our next cruise. It was only 10 mins or less from the park and cruise facility.
- Jimmy (8/5): Excellence manager - Our flight was delayed so we were there only about 7 hours but the managers were very friendly and were nice about the 2 am check in.
- nancytX8977OS (2/5): Not a safe looking place to stay - pulled up to hotel it was very scary looking, the front desk was in terrible shape and no one was around, the owner was busy cleaning and took a while before she came to wait on us, I told her we decided not to stay there and they wouldn't give back our money, I booked online and unfortunately there was a no cancellation refund but I feel it was like bait and switch hotel looked good online but terrible in person.
- David (10/5): Nice place. - The wife did not complain so all was great!
- mary (10/5): - This is an “old school” style motel and was PERFECT for our “pre-cruise” stay. No steps or elevators….just pull up to your front door. The room was VERY clean with a nicely updated bathroom. It had a little refrigerator and microwave and nice TV, but we didn’t have time to watch. We watched a shuttle liftoff from the front lawn! The beds were very comfy too. The hosts/owners/managers were FABULOUS! We will stay there again.
- Iani (10/5): - What a pleasant surprise! They've preserved the exterior look of a times gone by roadside motel. The room was recently renovated, clean and nicely decorated. Some thought went into making sure that everything was provided. Large room with enough space for the two twin beds and a sofa. Convenient place to stay away from the more expensive beach area of Cocoa Beach.
Staff was super friendly and called to make sure we would be welcomed on arrival.
- PlayaLes (10/5): Quiet and Comfortable - This is a sweet and clean little motel that is well-located for Space Coast activities. We stayed in room 108 which was freshly renovated. Despite the proximity to a busy road the room was quiet (except for the AC) and the bed was comfortable - that was all we needed for our one night stay. The proprietor, Mina, is energetic, proud of her establishment, and happy to share her local knowledge.
- Radames (10/5): - Nice economic option. Pillows were too hard.
- Peter (10/5): - Very clean, attractive, classic Florida, updated, nice shower, comfortable bed.
10 minutes to cruise ship parking.
- Tim (10/5): - This is a nice remodel of an old motel. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom was very small and confined. But it and the room were very clean. Easy check in and out.
- Gary (8/5): - Owners were very friendly and helpful
- Robert (8/5): - Hotel was very clean. Service was OK. If you need a quick affordable night with no amenities, this place works. Perfect for quick access to port Canaveral.
- Tucker (8/5): - Very nice rooms, and really good customer service. We will be staying here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A basic room but very clean and reasonably priced.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I have stayed here twice when visiting the Kennedy Space Center. The first time I stayed was because of its convenient location to KSC and its proximity to a Publix. And when I went back to visit I selected this location because it was super clean.
- Jonnie (10/5): - The owner was very helpful when I wanted to upgrade to the larger room. She even stopped by to make sure I liked it and if I needed anything else.
It’s a single layer so it’s great for elderly people too. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed.
- David (10/5): - Room was squeaky clean. Very little road noise. Our only complaint was that the heatAC fan ran only on high speed which was a bit annoying during the night, but at least it cycled on and off. I would highly recommend this motel.
- Jeff (10/5): - Quaint little motel. Everything was clean and fresh fir our stay.
- Doris (10/5): - Older on the outside but rooms are clean and modern on the inside. Only stayed one night but it was fine. Very close to Kennedy Space Station
Price for value is good.
- Charles_Hog_Williams (10/5): Apollo Inn quickly stole my heart ❤️! - I was unsure what I would find, the reviews were so so and I couldn’t believe the pictures were real, BUT! Mina is the heartbeat of this place and she makes it sing! Apollo Inn is the cleanest hotel I’ve seen in years! Neat, manicured yard, not so much as a scrap of paper in the parking lot, and the room smells amazing. No mold, anywhere in my room. No dust, clean windows or floors and furniture! And when I opened the door, on my bed sat a large pair of swans that were made from folded towels! Priceless! Mina does that too! Apollo Inn reflects the era of the 50’s-60’s-70’s, clearly offering a wonderful restful experience, with a personal touch that makes me want to come back many times!
- LORIM583 (10/5): Stay here when in Space Coast Area!!!! - I love hotels/motels with personality, and Apollo Inn is no exception. From the beautiful Mina who greeted us (and walked down our room a piece of her fantastic lasagna), to a newly remodeled room, highly recommend this place. And cute swan towels, too.
- GrandTour19590582435 (8/5): Great stay - It was agreat stay at The Apollo Inn. I liked the look and feel of the motel, felt like we had stepped back in time in a good way! The room was tastefully renovated for a comfortable stay. The linens were fresh. The owners were very friendly & accommodating.
- Jan (10/5): - The property was clean, attractive, well managed.
- William (8/5): - Great little Motel. Clean & Quiet. Recently remodeled.
But, If you're the least bit hot natured, bring a fan.
No ceiling fans & the AC (even though new) can't cool the rooms during the day below 80 degrees in the Summer heat.
- jaimehT9903HM (2/5): DONT STAY HERE - Be careful!!! My card wasn't working so had to pay cash they charged me 45 a day cash deposit that they had no intention of ever giving back. One wash rag had light red stain from my granddaughter eating and they help $90 deposits bf of that. The lady expects you to completely clean the room so we did. It look great except for the little bit of sand that came off out feet so she gave us a broom to sweep it and we gladly did. Tool all trash out and left room as it was when we checked in. She also expects a house keeper tip even tho she gives you the cleaner and all to do it for her. They are a scam and will take your money. Much better places to go than some non American run shady hotel in the hood
- Cedric (10/5): - Good service.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Phenomenal hosts who were so kind and helpful. Clean, quiet property. Will definitely stay here again.
- Chad (10/5): - My wife and I were so pleased with our stay at the Apollo Inn. The room was clean and the property was quiet. We were in town to watch a couple of rocket launches and the Apollo Inn was a very convenient location to the viewing spots. We will definitely be back.
- BARBARA (10/5): - House keeping really keeps this hotel clean and fresh. The grounds are very clean and manicured. The text from the front office after we left thanking us for staying with them was a very nice touch as well.
- Nichole (10/5): - Quick check in. Overnight stay before boarding cruise. Exactly what we needed. No frills but clean and quiet. Great Bbq just up the road which was a plus!
- Radames (10/5): - Very nice old Florida style motel renovation. The air conditioner unit is very loud on or off style. There was a $20 charge added on top of the Expedia price.
- Stacey (10/5): - This hotel was very nice. Very clean, comfy beds, nice hot shower, and spacious. Would recommend.
- Stephen (8/5): - Room suited my needs. Would prefer sink and counter outside of bathroom. Quieter than other last hotel where I stayed
- Michael (4/5): Not so good - Old motel with some renovations,
No bathroom exhaust fan.
No hair dryer.
Shower didn't drain, standing water
No sink stopper
No hangers
- margaret (10/5): - Check in was easy, as there is a manned desk 24/7.
Owner called us directly 30 minutes after we checked in, asking if everything was ok, and it was.
We didn't expext this, but our rooms were refreshed daily!
Definitely would stay here again!
- Linda (10/5): - The family personal touch was above and beyond. It’s exceptionally clean both inside the units as well as the grounds.
It’s truly a hidden gem!
- Paulette (10/5): - Comfortable stay, friendly staff
- Earnest (10/5): One of my FAVORITES! - Don't let looks deceive you!!! This room was absolutely lovely!! The room was so nice for the price! The bed was comfortable, the shower and bathroom were completely spotless. The sheets smelled like fresh linen. What can I say I really appreciated all the work they put into the motel!!
- Brenda (10/5): - I was very impressed with the room. It was modern and very clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable.
- Rhonda (10/5): Clean and cozy. - Our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly. The motel is a Space Coast stable. The rooms were updated and very clean. The only negative was no hair dryer in the room. Otherwise very cozy and quaint.
- Matthew (10/5): - The Apollo Inn was a very nice and great place to stay. The manager was extremely nice and kind. The room was very clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. I truly enjoyed part of my honeymoon there.
- Ronald (10/5): - This place is definitely a diamond in the rough. Updated rooms and very clean. The staff was very accommodating. The satellite for our tv wasn’t working so they responded right away and when they couldn’t get it to work they switched our rooms. Highly recommend.
- Penelope (10/5): - Felt like home..very nice and clean.
- Scott (10/5): - Another excellent stay.
- Scott (10/5): - Very convenient to where I go to watch rocket launches. Needed an overnight stay and this place had a reasonable price, good location, and good previous reviews. This was a great place to stay. Room was very clean and well equipped. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again next time my plans call for it.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Insane - I have stayed in over 150 hotels this past year. And spent close to $20,000 in that time. Never in my life have I been more disrespected then when I stayed here for 2 nights . The lady that owns the hotel is a complete psychopath.
My company car broke down on the road so I booked this hotel and was stuck in this 100 square-foot room for 48 hours. About five hours into the stay, I realize there was no towels, so I politely asked the woman to bring me some towels. When she came a few hours later, I was in the shower, and I did not answer the door. For whatever reason this made the hotel lady upset, and she demanded to come in. When she came in she did a full inspection of my room as if she was doing me a favor by paying 110 a night to stay in a completely average hotel room.
She then unbelievably called my employer, because it was a company trip and told him that I reached the hotel room. Luckily, I sent photos and videos to my boss so I wouldn’t lose my job.
I then walked across the parking lot to confront her about this. Her only reply to me was “ you walked across the parking lot barefoot and now you will get back in bed and make it dirty”. Insane. She didn’t had me sign a piece of paper because I was forced to stay there another night due to my car not being fixed, after I signed it, she wrote in on the piece of paper this is a “ non smoking “ room .
After I left, she charged my card. Saying I was smoking and eating in the bed.
She obviously does not wash sheets.
- Heather (10/5): - It was no frills clean and reasonable
- Ronald (2/5): Motel 6 at Marriott Prices! - The sign at the check in window actually ends with “stay somewhere else.”
I should have taken their own advice. Anywhere else it’s a $50 room at best but it was where I had to be that day. Plus, the photos they posted looked nice enough (making me wonder where they were taken!’
I had to go find a housekeeper to check me in because no one ever answered the buzzer.
With linens from the Walmart polyester collection and a grand total two, count ‘em, two small towels, it would have been a disappointing college dorm room.
However, there was a nice plastic yard chair in the room if you were having company.
I was so disgusted, I drove on another hour and didn’t ever sleep there!
Of course, they are keeping the $270 (!) so they can buy a second plastic lawn chair when they upgrade the room.
Calling this a dump would be an insult to landfills.
- stacee (6/5): Beware of scam - I reserved 2 double beds for $207 before arriving. I chose "pay at property" so i could pay w cash. I used a valid credit card to hold the reservation bc if it wasn't valid the reservation wouldn't have been possible.
I got on a flight from Utah to Florida with two children at about 1 pm and arrived about 7:30. The hotel texted me and said they canceled my reservation bc my card doesn't work & said tried to contact me but I wouldn't answer my phone. Well #1 why are you charging my card and #2 i was on an airplane. The app, hotels.com, where I booked the room told me to call the motel they still had my room. I did and the woman I spoke to said she didn't have my room but she had a room with 1 King bed for $285. She would hold it for a credit card #. I gave her the same # that she said didn't work originally bc its totally valid. Although I was thoroughly annoyed, I looked for another hotel/motel and every place is totally booked...no vacancy anywhere. Its after dark and im in an unfamiliar place so I didn't have much of a choice. The motel lady called me again while I was on my way to make sure I was still coming...really? You obviously have my credit card # that didn't work, right!?!
I arrived and she took my card and came back with a receipt showing $325. So, she cancelled my 2 double bed room for $207 and switched it for 1 King for $325 and never once was she given a different card # than the original one that was always valid.
- 586joannej (10/5): Nice rooms and great owner! - Our room had been completely remodeled, very clean and comfortable! The owner is very pleasant with a great sense of humor, she was super! Please, note: bring your own hairdryer as I didn’t see one in the room.
- Katiekneeland123 (10/5): 10/10 Motel - 10/10 would recommend. The rooms were just renovated and were the nicest motel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The family who manages it are very hospitable. They genuinely cared about our stay and if we were satisfied. They were very generous to us during our time there. It’s very clean and the room temperature is really comfortable. There’s a great AC in the room. Overall this place is very safe and the management is spectactular.
- cks60wes (10/5): Exceptionally Clean & Quiet - Love the Apollo Inn in Cocoa! Very clean & friendly hosts were very accommodating. We were traveling by motorcycle & love that our bikes were outside our door & very safe. We stayed here a few years ago when in the area & so of course we came back & this time stayed 2 nights! Highly recommend:) Bill & Corinne S
- Dean (10/5): - good value
- William (4/5): A Bargain That Wasn't - The facility is right out of the 1950's. It was clean, but the room itself looked like it was furnished by motels are us. Every piece of furniture was different. The price was waay too high, but there were not many choices in the area as there was a rocket launch at the Kennedy Space Center. Which is why we were there. We were assured that if the launch did not go off we could get another night and they would negotiate the "Baron Robber's Price." for a third night. There was no negotiation on the price unless you count jacking the price even higher. We bailed and found a Holiday Inn that had a king sized bed, an in room garden tub, a coffee machine that worked and a continental breakfast. We learned our lesson.
- jaxsonm44 (10/5): Clean and Friendly - Stayed here to visit a friend who lives close by, the room was very clean, the sheets and the bed were clean and comfortable. It was very easy check in and check out and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again
- F4792MKjuliettem (10/5): best motel stay ever - I am never staying at a motel 5 again. It's walking distance to the water, and it's very close to a great pizza place. I didn't park but I know they offer free parking. Their towel creations are so cute as well. The room is spacious and everything is incredibly clean. The staff are so friendly, it felt like a home away from home. I will definitely be visiting Cocoa again and staying at the Apollo Inn
- seanrI7653SF (10/5): Great Stay - The best hotel I have stayed at in Brevard by far. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and the rooms were very clean and spacious. I will definitely book this hotel the next time I visit the space coast.
- Lidiya (6/5): - It was very overpriced
- Jayme (10/5): Excellent customer service - Receptionist and probably owner was extremely helpful in adding an additional night to our stay with a 5am check in. Rooms have no carpet which is a thumbs up for me and the floor was very clean.
- Beth (8/5): - This is an old motel that has had some renovations to the room. Owner was super nice and friendly. Basic motel. Nothing extra, but I had a bathroom and a bed. Very clean and basic. Good room if you just need a place to shower and rest your head.
- BCB0123 (10/5): Home away from home - You could not expect a more clean and comfortable inn ever! The owners go out of their way to make sure your room is perfect in every way. Never in my 20 years of traveling have I ever stayed at a more clean location. Again I can not say enough how clean and accommodating Mina and her husband were. I will definitely stay here again when in the area for business. Thank you for a welcoming stay.
- Mary (8/5): - I was surprised. For the money this place was great. I mostly appreciated how clean it was. The lady at the desk was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this motel.
- Virginia (8/5): - Homey atmosphere and liked having car right outside my door. Loved the towel creations every day. Noisy AC and early morning traffic noise.
- brooksg41 (10/5): Apollo inn in cocoa is awesome 👌 - Apollo inn in cocoa is an Excellent place to stay. Very clean and comfortable and quiet, and the family that takes care of the place do so with grate pride and love. I have stayed here many times and it has always been a pleasure.
- nitehawk_tc (2/5): Reservation cancelled on the day of travel, hotel said credit card was "invalid" - I booked two rooms in this hotel via bookings.com several weeks in advance for a night of stay to watch Kennedy Space Center rocket launch with my family. In the afternoon of check in day, I noticed an email from bookings.com saying the hotel told them credit card is invalid ~noon. This is the same credit card I have been using through out the trip. I also checked with credit card company, there was no declined transactions. As far as the credit card company is concerned no one from Apollo Inn tried to charge this credit card. I do not check email every hours while on vacation. There was no phone call or txt msg. According to this hotel, you have three hours to update your credit card, else they cancel your reservation. Since I found out about this right around 3 hours, I called the hotel while traveling and was told the reservation was cancelled and as a "favor" they can offer me two rooms at double the price of my original booking. I declined this offer and find other hotel that is further away from KSC but didn't jack up the price on you.
If you are ok with checking email every hour while on vacation to see if your reservation may be cancelled on the day of stay, this hotel may be for you. I personally will never book here again.
- Kelsey (8/5): - Mina was very helpful and sweet!
- David (10/5): - Very large room and very clean! Dont let the old school outside scare you away very nice place with an outstanding staff
- Godxxx01 (10/5): Super clean and lovely host - The owner host of this lovely property has been so nice and accommodating. Doing his best to provide the best service. The motel might not be the newest, but definitely the cleanest you can find out there.
- Kayla (6/5): - The owner was nice and helpful but seemed understaffed and i felt the price was fairly high for the room to be as dirty as it was. Only good for one night.. but should be priced lower for what it was.
- Godwin (10/5): Super clean and lovely host - The owner host of their property has been so nice and accommodating. Doing his best to provide the best service.
The motel might not be the newest, but definitely the cleanest you can find out there.
- James (10/5): - Super clean and excellent condition for the age of the property. Staff was overwhelmingly friendly, parking was easy! Located right in between Cocoa Beach access and kayaking in Titusville. We had a car so this made it convenient. Service was way better than the service we got at the big hotels lately. Would definitely stay here again.
- Joyce (10/5): - The manager was very accommodating.
- U9141LKjacobm (10/5): Exactly What I Needed - The proprietors of the Apollo Inn are incredibly friendly and gracious. They somehow managed the right balance of knowing when I preferred solitude and when to ask if I needed anything. The cleanliness added to my comfort and to my gratitude.
My wife surprised me with a week-long booking to decompress from the hectic turbulence of day-to-day life. I had a lot of reading and writing to catch up on, so this location was perfect for getting away from noise and crowds while keeping the option to visit any number of nearby attractions (I was partial to the various Brevard County public parks with waterfront views and the Kennedy Space Center).
- Shari (10/5): Awesome Apollo Inn - The Apollo Inn was simple but comfortable. The room was very clean and the manager was very accommodating and willing to help us in any way. The location was great and we’ll most likely be choosing to stay here again when we come back to the area.
- No_Name20L (4/5): Third World Haggling at the Grand Bazaar - I did not actually stay at this hotel, but had a negative experience having to do with booking and subsequent cancellation, well before the cancellation deadline.
First, this property does not have its own online reservation system. If you go to the website, you end up booking through booking.com, although this is not obvious at the time.
I had to cancel the reservation because my travel plans changed on the account of a health issue.
When I called the property (the owner I believe - I had spoken with her previously) and asked to cancel the reservation, went into a long harangue about having to call booking.com, even though I booked the room through the hotel website. I felt like I was negotiating the price of broccoli with at the bazaar in Casablanca.
I found the lady brusque, and a bit indignant. Needless to say, when I do go this area, I don't plan to stay here.
- Joseph (10/5): - Low cost quality motel
- Linda (10/5): - The owners are so good, helpful, and friendly. The room was big and a very nice bathroom. Above all it was exceptionally clean. If we are this way again we will stay here.
- Eleanor (8/5): - Very basic accommodations, but I was impressed by the cleanliness.
- TSchrieber (10/5): Cleanest Motel Around - Wanted a clean quiet motel away from the crowds, so I read the reviews on this Motel and decided to try it. As soon as you walk in the room, you can smell how clean the room is. The staff is very friendly, and the room had a frig, microwave, flat screen tv, and high speed internet. I enjoyed sleeping in without the sound of the typical Florida motel hurricane doors slamming shut when people walk in or out of their room. Very pleased with the experience, and will stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Very clean room. Safe area
- Constance (2/5): - They claimed my credit card didn’t go through, but they never tried it and sold the room to someone else
- Arnold (10/5): - Owners were very friendly , clean comfortable room ,will stay again.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - One word is sll thats needed here:
EXCELLANT
- deborah (8/5): vaule clean stay - clean stay for overnight and very friendly check in staff
- JamesMcGuire (8/5): - Somewhat noisy with traffic. Otherwise satisfied! New renovations very nice! Outside clean and nicely landscaped
- Christine (8/5): Friendly Service. Clean Simple Room. - Nice, simple. clean. Exactly what we needed after a busy day at Kennedy Space Center.
- Bob (10/5): - Place was clean and well maintained. People were very pleasant.
- Brady (10/5): A rare gem! - This is a rare gem.
Very friendly owners.
A great place to stay while visiting the Kennedy Space Center.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly staff, well kept. Breakfast would make it better.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Close to Kennedy Space Center. Good area for rocket launches
- Jay (8/5): Nice Place - My experience was good. Don’t let the size or the type of motel deter you. It’s a nice place owned by friendly people who cared about my satisfaction and comfort. The room and bathroom were absolutely spotless and I was able to park my motorcycle right in front of my room which I appreciated. The price was reasonable and it is an easy drive to Kennedy Space Center. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Super accomodating, inexpensive friendly retro style but clean and convenient to all in the Canaveral, Cocoa Beach area without being right in town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and well kept I wish they would have had an extra blanket in the room. Friendly staff nice stay
- Verified traveler (6/5): - My air conditioner worked some times and not others. The main sign
out front was in a bad location. By the time you saw it, you had almost gone past the Motel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- ME (8/5): - called to check on my arrival and was accommodating when my flight was delayed and I was over an hour later than expected.. friendly and smilitng even though it was almost midnight and im sure I woke her up!
- Maureen (10/5): - Great little motel. Very clean and well maintained. The couple that run it are wonderful!
- Victoria (10/5): - The property was perfect, it met beyond my expectations, I booked a last minute reservation and thought I was just settling on the price but found it was well worth the choice.
