• Siegward (8/5): Das La Maiena Meran Resort erfüllt aufgrund der besonders umfangreichen Ausstattung alle Wünsche - Ein sehr gepflegtes 5 Sterne Hotel zu einem relativ günstigen Preis in schöner Aussichtslage oberhalb von Meran. Hervorzuheben sind: Moderne, grosszügige und sehr geschmackvolle Austattung in jeglicher Hinsicht. Hier leitet das Hotel noch ein aktives und freundliche Inhaberehepaar, das sich auch noch persönlich um das Wohl des Gäste kümmert. Top: Freies Parken in einem großen und gut zugänglichen Parkhaus. Das E Auto konnten wir komfortabel laden. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt. Der Wellnessbereich nicht überlaufen. Erholsam. Das Essen aussergewöhnlich lecker, Frühstück wie Abendessen. Fällt uns spontan nichts ein.

• Mukaddes (5/5): Definitiv kein 5 Sterne Standart , sehr konservatives Ambiente und Publikum - Service im Restaurant und an der Bar sehr gut. Herr Riadh war besonders herausstechend. Wir hatten ein Zimmer gebucht, das als „Suite mit Stadtblick“ angeboten wurde. Tatsächlich handelte es sich jedoch um ein normales Doppelzimmer, in dem lediglich eine Couch stand, die man offenbar ausklappen kann. Von den typischen Merkmalen einer Suite – großzügiger Grundriss, abgetrennter Wohnbereich, besondere Ausstattung – war nichts vorhanden. Hinzu kam, dass das Zimmer nur mit einem 1,60 m breiten Bett ausgestattet war. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel absolut unzureichend und sehr ungemütlich, da man schlicht keinen Schlafkomfort erwarten konnte. In vielen anderen Hotels würde ein solches Zimmer höchstens als Standard-Doppelzimmer ausgewiesen. Die gebuchte Halbpension stellte sich ebenfalls als Mogelpackung heraus: Auf der Menükarte war etwa die Hälfte der Gerichte nur mit saftigem Aufpreis, quasi normale Restaurantpreise , erhältlich, darunter fast alle Fleischgerichte. Damit war die Auswahl innerhalb der inkludierten Halbpension stark eingeschränkt. Die Darstellung „Halbpension“ ist somit irreführend. Zum Zimmerausblick: Direkt vor dem Fenster lag ein Bahnhof. Dahinter zwar die Stadt, aber der eigentliche Ausblick war eben der Bahnhof – mit entsprechender Geräuschkulisse, sobald Züge ein- oder ausfuhren. Zur Hotelausstattung: Fitnessraum: Eine Katastrophe für ein Haus dieser Kategorie. Veraltete, teils defekte Geräte, eng gestelltes, zusammengewürfeltes Equipment und kaum Platz. Von einem funktionalen Fitnessbereich kann keine Rede sein. Wellnessbereich: Wurde von uns nicht genutzt, daher keine Bewertung. Kinderangebote: Praktisch ausschließlich für sehr kleine Kinder (Vorschulalter). Für ältere Kinder oder Familien mit vielfältigeren Ansprüchen gibt es kaum nennenswerte Angebote. Das Publikum im Hotel ist überwiegend konservativ und stark auf Gäste aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum ausgerichtet. Für ein internationales 5-Sterne-Hotel fehlt es klar an Weltoffenheit und internationalem Standard. Preis Leistung nicht angemessen.

• Martin (4/5): A ruined summer holiday - A really disapointing experience with this hotel, nice staff and beautiful location, but the hotel does not have air condition in the rooms despite the fact that they write it on hotels.com as well as their own website. Amzing that such a scam is possible these days. We where presented with a junior suite that was +30C and sleeping with windows open is not an option since the train tracks run both in front of the hotel as well as on the back side. Reception quickly offered a full refund and we left after 2 hours with a completely spioled summer holiday. The promissed refund should be done within 7 to 10 days, after 16 days it has still not been done.

• Nathan (9/5): 5 star service in a great hotel and location - The food is excellent. We went half board and it was worth every penny. Pampered at Breakfast and Dinner. High standard of food as well. Not one dish at night can we say we didn't like and the alternative option was ideal for our daughter. Facilities for families, which we were are really good as well. The Pool where families tend to be is really nice and if you want something more tranquil the other pools offer that. Kids club is a good helpful option as well. The member of staff who runs the children's club could be a bit more attentive. Daughter banged her head, she was fine but staff member took the word of a child when asking if OK. Really should have applied ice and we as parents should have been told.

• Evgenii (9/5): Overall, the stay was absolutely pleasant and relaxing! - The location and the venue are simply great! We enjoyed the pools and SPA, the room was very clean and comfy. And the stuff was very friendly and helpful! We appreciated the chef's creativity with which the food was always delivered - truly a good restaurant's food look! The only minor downside in our opinion was that it was a touch too salty at times and the look might sometimes outshine the taste.

Zudem wurde das Resort noch erweitert und bietet für alle etwas. Schöne Ausflüge sowie Sportaktivitäten. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service top. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe vom Zug und Busstation und somit auch gut erschlossen. Wir können dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen und wir werden sicher wieder buchen.

• Raget (8/5): Gutes, preiswertes Durchschnittshotel - In der nähe befindet sich eine Eisenbahnstrecke, welche man bei offenem Fenster gut hört. Das Essen im Hoteleigenen Restaurant ist nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht hervorragend. Die Leute geben sich sehr Mühe und der Service ist aufmerksam. Ob die Restaurantpreise angemessen sind, muss jeder für sich selber entscheiden.
• Hans (10/5): Ausgezeichnetes Wellness-Hotel - Wir verbrachten eine Ferienwoche mit jugendlichem Kind dort. Freundlicher Empfang, tolles Ambiente. Alles in allem: ausgezeichnet.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Eltern-u. Kindertauglich + Flair u. tollem Service - Ein Hotel mitten in den Apfelplantagen, mit Blick gen Meran und in den Bergen. Das Haus ist familiär geführt, das Essen frisch, schmackhaft und toll zubereitet, die Weinauswahl gross. Besonders vom Mittagstisch waren wir beeindruckt und hätten nicht mit so guten Speisen gerechnet. Der Service war stets hoch.
