Alessia Valentina (9/5): - Camera ampia, ben arredata, pulita. Bagno grande, doccia molto bella. In 15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro. Ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo. Tutto era oltre le mie aspettative. Parcheggio non disponibile davanti l’hotel, ma l’abbiamo trovato nella via parallela. Sarebbe utile spiegare quali sono le vie dove si può parcheggiare gratuitamente

Zag er mooier uit op de site dan dat het in het echt was. - Hele mooie nette badkamer, leek net verbouwd Het hele hotel rook naar gegrilde vis, ook in de kamer van het restaurant beneden. De tweepersoonskamer was echt heel klein, je kon niet eens lekker je koffer kwijt of iets ophangen.

Yoonis (8/5): - This was a good base for our 5 day iceland trip. Room and toilet were clean, a supermarket and dominoes was around the corner which came in clutch! Only thing to keep in mind is the free parking across the street was a hit and a miss. Other than that would recommend if Reykjavik is your base.

Shamsul arefeen (7/5): - for low budget works fine. but other low budget hotels provide more facilities. the most annoying part was there was no parking. they dont have any private parking spot. they suggest to park in the streets which is next to impossible on a busy day. we had to find a parking 2 roads ahead of the hotel and drag our heavy luggages across the streets.

SARA (7/5): Correcto - La habitación es como se ve en las fotos. Es amplia. La cama muy cómoda. Incluimos desayuno y el primer día no había leche caliente. La que había estaba fría de nevera. Le pedí a la persona que había allí si era posible calentarla y me dijo que no. Escribí al hotel, me dijeron que lo comentarían y al día siguiente lo mismo: leche fría. Disponer de leche caliente o la posibilidad de calentarla es un básico. En el resto de hoteles teníamos esa opción.

Jonathan (3/5): don't go there. - location (close to downtown) 1. bathroom was tiny (with a tiniest sink!!!). called customer service (no staff onsite!) and was told that this is "economy" room, upgrade was 140 Euro PER NIGHT!!!! 2. no parking on the street (3 free spots only). a tip - go to the main road, upstreet (about 250m) is a residential zone with no paid parking (free within white lines).

Asaravala (10/5): Clean, modern hotel in Reykjavik - The room was very clean and modern. I requested a single room since I was traveling alone. It was the perfect size. The bathroom was clean. The facilities were self check-in. The code to enter the facility and the room worked great. Before the room was ready, I was able to go into the lobby to wait for my room. The lobby had a restroom. There is a code activated storage room for luggage which was convenient. There is a market one block away that is well stocked. This wasn’t a huge problem for me since I like to walk, but the city center is about 20 min walking distance. The country is safe and so the walk was nice. I was able to take Flybus directly from the KEV airport to the Reykjavík BSI terminal, and then directly to the this hotel. That was the best part. Just buy a ticket at the airport & get a hotel transfer to Alva Hotel The property was great.

Ria (9/5): - The hotel overall was good. There wasn't any staff since the hotel was self check-in but we were given clear instructions to get into the room. It was clean and the size of the room was okay as well. We had a comfortable stay. Probably just the parking although we were given a video of were we can park. The free one (across the street,left side) was full so we just ended up paying for parking in front of the hotel.

Toni (2/5): No - Clean Iceland doesn't require ID to rent a room, but I was held up at the door until I sent a photo of one to their email address outside of Booking. This requirement was not requested in the English emails I got from Booking, and their Icelandic email was sent to spam. The call button works, but the call is disconnected repeatedly so that it took around 20 minutes outside the door trying to fix the problem, and then the room code wasn't yet activated, so I had to telephone to get that fixed! Never again

Leonidas (4/5): Some nice touches, but overall the experience was disappointing. - The rooms were warm and cozy. The location and the general atmosphere of the building were calm and quiet. The triple room was in fact a double, with a third bed thrown in, resulting in pockets of space left for us and our luggages. The bath cabinet had a hole in the corner of its construction, so all the water came out and the floor flooded. To make matters worse, when we woke up we realised one of us had been bitten by bedbugs, which really impacted the rest of our holidays.
