Guest Reviews
- Kristen (10/5): Beautiful BnB a pleasure. Will go again! - Incorrectly booked another hotel for the wrong night. Cora took us in last minute and was gracious to all of us, even making up a second bed last minute and bringing milk for evening tea. The kids enjoyed the large projection screen and the swingset outside. We couldn't get enough of the view and the beautiful decor. Very well kept and loved by the owner. Linens, extra condiments and bath products at the ready! Very much appreciated, Cora. Thank you so much.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The proprietor was open to our every need. She helped with local visits.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice country location - This is a lovely home in a nice rural setting. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. The only deal breaker for us was that we had to share a bathroom with the other guests. This was not something that we have experienced before and I did not check when I was booking to see if it had a private bathroom. (Which I will in the future). If you are ok with a shared bathroom than this is a great place.
- claude (10/5): J'ai bien apprecier personnelle tres gentij - J'i retournerait j'ai bien aimer laqueul et mes amis on bien apprécié eux aussi
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean and well decorated, but noisy - The rooms are very small, but clean and well decorated, with a separate entrance facing a field and a forest. The house is well kept. Breakfast was very good, hot and fresh, served on a balcony.
Unfortunately, the bathroom is shared with other guests, there is no table or sink or a shower in the room.
Also, it is quite noisy - you can hear every single step when someone is walking in the kitchen, which is directly above the room. I could not sleep since 5 a.m because someone was walking upstairs.
- Angie (10/5): Beautiful stay in the countryside - Locate in a beautiful farm house where you can see the cows in the pasture. The room are wonderfully painted with wonderful murals .. Large decks are excellent for watching the sunsets! The sunrise through the Windows of your room are great addition to your stay.
Breakfast which was included was excellent and we thoroughly enjoy a lovely conversatio with the other guest at the family style table.
Everything about our stay was excellent including our lovely hostess for the day Helen. I highly recommend staying at Golden Pathways

- Shelley (8/5): Peaceful getaway! - The B&B was very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious out on back porch. We really enjoyed the use of kitchen and living room space.
- Steve (10/5): Excellent, comfortable, great hosts!! - Had a great stay at the Golden Pathways - awesome hosts, great breakfast while sitting on the beautiful deck. A very comfortable bed with the kind of bedding we would all want on our own beds. Nothing compromised at Golden Pathways and I will definitely stay again anytime I am in the Peterborough area. Just fantastic.
- Verified traveler (8/5): great B and B - The location was beautiful
Sharing a bath with others was only draw back
Next time I would ask for the room with a bath for your room
The lady that runs the house is really nice and the breakfast was wonderful
- Geng (10/5): Great stay at Golden Pathways Retreat and B&B - - Breakfast: Breakfast was served out on a deck with the sunrise. It was a patio for two surrounded by endless grass and trees. The breakfast was delicious.
- View: Farm land with rolling tree in the background. The view is incredible.
- Room: The room was clean, tidy and comfy.
- Service: The owner was friendly and helpful. The owners also let us use their canoe which was the highlight of our trip.
- D & R (10/5): Quiet and serene. - A quiet countryside setting. Close to various centre's for entertainment, shopping and attractions.
Our stay was pleasant with wonderful hosts.
