• Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed here for two nights while visiting family in Ottawa. It has been one of our favourite bed and breakfast places to stay. We stayed in the “Sparky” room. The house is located in a quiet , secluded refuge, a few minutes off of the 417, a 20- 30 minute drive into central Ottawa. Shelly and her husband went out of their way to accommodate us. Their home is beautiful and breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.

House is not very close to down time, so best would be to come with car, or use taxi.

• craig (10/5): Great stay! Would go again - Great B &B - super clean, well appointed, very friendly, and a great breakfast. The outdoor pool was the icing on the cake. Our main floor room was a bit small and beside the front door so you get more noise from other guests - but not a real issue. No hesitations to recommend this place.

Clean, warm, incredible breakfast along with the most gracious, thoughtful and friendly hosts! I am a regional sales rep who is on the road staying in hotels out of town an average of 1 - 2 weeks per month and have never stayed at a bed & breakfast until these past few days. • Patrick (8/5): Very Pretty B&B - Very well decorated. The room (Suzy) was a little warm for us Arctic Customers, but most others would likely be fine. We had an exclusive bathroom (all do), but ours was unattached, unlike the others. So, we had to leave the room to visit it. Within 1/2 hour of downtown Ottawa, but in the country.

I was fortunate enough to be able to stay at the Boston 'T' for 3 nights and have nothing but positive things to say. Shelley and Serge are such warm friendly hosts who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The meals are absolutely delicious starting with VERY fresh fruit each morning followed by a large portion of fresh eggs, meat, home fries, home made bread toasted and home made jams. • Anne (10/5): Best place to stay in Ottawa - I have now stayed many time at this B & B, and I can say this is a great place. The owners are so welcoming and happy to look after any of their clients needs. I travel with my dog and they allocate one room for people traveling with dogs and it was one of the best places that I stay with my dog. Their home is extremely clean, well organized and very inviting. the food is great. I recommend The Boston Bred and Breakfast as your best place to stay in the Ottawa area.

The beds are comfortable and the hosts are friendly and accomodating. The two resident Boston Terriers are endearing and do not bother guests unless they are welcomed. Needless to say we encouraged contact! If you are in the Ottawa area and do not want to stay downtown, choose the peace and serenity of the Boston T B & B.

• Dave and Judy (10/5): Our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast. - Recently, my wife and I had to travel to Ottawa for a couple of days. Having stayed in hotels in the past, we decided to try and Bed and Breakfast for the first time. We discovered the Boston "T" Bed and Breakfast on-line and decided to book a room. Finding the location was not difficult, following a short drive north and west from the Hwy 417/Carp Road exit, just west of Kanata. The house is a modern two-story structure surrounded by well maintained grounds. We were met by Serge and Shelley Gosselin, who were both very warm and welcoming. The interior of the home was immaculately maintained, with a living room area just off of the main entrance, featuring lounge chairs and a wide screed television. The dining area is very lovely. We were provided with a key to the main door as well as our bedroom on the second floor. The room featured a queen bed and our own private washroom and shower. Each morning, we were presented with a fruit dish which was followed by french toast and sausages on one morning, and Eggs Benedict on the second morning. There was juice and an endless supply of coffee or tea. Serge and Shelley are both bilingual and carried-on conversations with ourselves and a visiting Quebec couple with ease. Their Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located close to the new Tanger Mall complex and Canadian Tire Place.
• Enrique (10/5): Better than top rated hotel in the area. - Shelley and Sergio provided us an incredible high quality service. It is better than any top rated hotel in the area. Bedding and towels are the best quality. Mattress and pillows are the best. Breakfast is wow. 7 different kind of fruit-salad. Natural Orange Juice. Delicious eggs with bacon. excellent coffee and milk. Superb 3 different jams every day, home made. But the best is the warm and cozy "familiar" attention they provide. You must go there when you are thinking to stay around Kanata. Their B&B is only 6' away from Kanata.

Shelley and Sarge were great hosts, providing directions and tips on what to see. We enjoyed getting to know them, and my daughter especially liked Princess, the Boston Terrier. We would definitely stay here again.
• D (10/5): The only place to B. is the the Boston T. - Shelly and Serge are warm and caring hosts. Every attention to detail is considered when staying at the Boston T. They opened their house to us by accommodating our particular requests including a birthday breakfast.
• karen (10/5): Fabulous Bed and Breakfast - The Boston T is a gorgeous house in a peaceful, serene location just outside of Ottawa. We enjoyed getting to know our hosts who provided a delicious candle lit breakfast. The selection of home made jams was appreciated. As long as you can avoid rush hour, it is just a short drive into downtown Ottawa. When we returned each night we were offered tea and homemade cookies. I would most definitely stay here again.
