Iberia Airlines had not put my luggage on my intercontinental flight, so had to deliver it to the hotel before I arrived from another city and the hotel handled it well, as well as directions for the many excellent restaurants within walking distance and my numerous requests for document printouts. The Cooper wine bar / restaurant is not good. The wine list is limited and poor quality, especially for the price. The lobby and lift areas are dark. The room is awkward with little space around the bed, and I am a petite single traveller.

- Udo (9/5): Superb - Perfectly located in Chapinero, a lot of Restaurants in walking distance Nothing on the service and the facilities, all excellent. There was an wrong description in the room details, it was stating on the room with Double bed (title) that is has two twin beds (room description), hence we booked it under the assumption that the detailed description was right, but it wasn't as the booking went on the title of the room. Hence nothing wrong as such from the Hotel, we told them, they couldn't change for that booking, but they did for the next one we had. Hence all good on that, just making sure again with mentioning it here that the typos or wrong matching description gets changed (which the Hotel promised to do) to avoid others having the same trouble.

I’m too old for the bar scene here but there is definitely a loud and busy one; only complaint is rooms are not as quiet as I’d like — some street noise and walls are on thin side. I’d you’re not doing a boutique hotel this is a strong points play for Bogota

- FfWander (6/5): Beautiful property, but felt like we were scammed - We stayed four nights at the The Artisan D.C Hotel between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is beautiful, well kept and the neighborhood was excellent. We loved the warm decor and boutique feel of the hotel. The area surrounding the hotel is clean and safe to walk even at night. We walked to dinner every evening and found a new restaurant close by each time. Restaurante Armadillo directly across the street was our favorite. However, the hotel was lacking was in service, primarily before our arrival. Their lack of attention spilled over to our stay and left us with a less than desirable feel. We had contacted the hotel prior to our arrival for transfers from the airport, we were informed that we would be contacted once arrangements were made. After some time, we had no confirmation of transport, so called back the hotel speaking to a gentleman who stated again that we would be informed once they had arranged transportation. We still heard nothing, so made prepaid arrangements through Emirates Airline. We were then contacted and given information about our driver, assuming this was the one we paid for, we accepted our ride and arrived at the hotel. Apparently the hotel arranged transport, but did not inform us. We ended up paying for the transportion the we arranged AND that the hotel arranged. The frustrating part is the decision to require us to pay, was made after management looked into the situation. The deciding factor seemed to be that they had emailed us with the confirmation. When we asked what email it was sent to, we saw it was not ours. They stated that we gave them the wrong email!! What ??? Why?? We also called twice to get confirmation, but received none. We did pay them for their error, but left the hotel feeling like we were dealing with scammers. Very unfortunate because the property is very nice if you do not count the lack of accountability.

Especially - Sergio, John. I had a great massage by Cruz (highly recommend!). The hotel driver Jose was also great and accompanied me up to Montseratte. The only person who was a bit rude and strange was Juanita (? - blonde younger woman at front). Highly recommend hotel for a central and safe location in Bogota.

Great bedding/pillows and amenities that made the stay even nicer. Loved this hotel and would return if ever in Bogota again! - LadyfromLuxembourg (8/5): Loved this hotel! - Located in a safe area of Bogota with lots of nice restaurants nearby, this hotel has a trendy boutique feel to it (even though it is part of the Marriott group). We stayed in a deluxe double queen room on the 6th floor for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom and walk-in shower. Lovely toiletries from top of the range Colombian company Loto del SVR. Sergio at reception was so friendly and welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was truly outstanding. And its Asian restaurant Osaki is excellent, with authentic flavours and quality ingredients. We absolutely loved our stay here and would book it again in a heartbeat.
- Sayer (10/5): Comfortable hotel in a good, safe location with nearby restaurants. - Whilst this is a Marriott it has all the feel of a boutique hotel. It is located in the Financial District and close to the hotel are both restaurants and a supermarket (bizarrely in what appears to be a residential house). The area felt safe. It is also not far from the La Rosa district where there is good shopping and lots of restaurants. The room that we had was a decent size, overlooking an office block. There were net curtains and real curtains for privacy, however when we were in the room there didn't seem to be any people in the office. The bed was very comfortable and there was a pillow menu (for those who like to have a specific type). The shower was powerful and there were good products supplied. There were enough guest usable electric sockets, including USB points to be able to charge multiple devices. Breakfast was included in the price including the a la carte. The buffet had a good range on offer, including Colombian fruits. The staff were friendly and helpful. For a stay in Bogota, I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with an extra a la Carte option. Need to add that being called by your name by all staff members was a plus. Can’t wait to be back!

The breakfast buffet and made to order items were the highlight for my kids. The lobby bar was convenient. It is located in a residential area not close to any touristy sights. However, it was quiet with ample restaurants within walking distance. Ubers are very inexpensive to take you anywhere you need to go.

Christian made our check-in experience enjoyable and smooth and helped with an impromptu request. Christian at Cooper Lounge made the best cocktails and gave insight into the choices of Colombian spirits. The massage at the spa by Katherine and Cruz puts you straight to sleep. Those ladies have magic hands. The staff at DC were very accommodating, and my stay, although short, made Bogota memorable.

- J3440RKfredm (8/5): Overall Nice Business Hotel-Rooms are Extremely Tiny - Arriving at the hotel, we were welcomed kindly. Some confusion over the breakfast option between the hotel and the booking tool. The room was quite small, and the bathroom was miniscule and the size of a closet. The bed was comfortable. The closet had hangers at about 7 feet high so difficult to reach. The Copper Lounge Bar made nice drinks and good Colombian food. The breakfast was excellent with a nice buffet and individually prepared dishes. The hotel is located in a very nice area of Bogota with many restaurants nearby. Everyone was friendly at the hotel although the security staff were quite cold. I am hesitant on recommending due to the very tiny rooms.

Hotel location is relatively close to restaurants, bars and some shopping. The center of Bogota is 25 minutes away with traffic. We only walked this area one day and covered all key sights. Our room was superb, zero street noise and we were not on a high floor. Hotel staff truly amazing. Maria Gomez at the front desk was our #1 option for all questions. The different security personnel / bell boys were all pleasant and helpful. The personnel during breakfast went out of their way to ensure we had absolutely everything we needed. My wife and I felt ‘at home’ - truly genuine Colombian Hospitality.

Over the last 5 years, I have spent at least 50 nights at the Artisan. it is truly one of my favorite hotels in the world. The staff is absolutely the best - from reception check-in, to the cleaning staff and exceptional bar and restaurant staff. I cannot recommend the Artisan enough. It is truly a second home from me. In fact, I was in quarantine with COVID at the beginning of the pandemic. They cared for me incredibly including some staff bringing home remedies to my room. The staff, always with a smile and eagerness to resolve any issue, should be an example for all hotels to follow. Again, one of my favorite hotels in the world.

I always want to come back every time that i have to travel to Bogota.

- Gina (10/5): Loved the stay in Bogotá - Our stay at the artisan DC was amazing. I loved the styling of the rooms and the ambiance in general. The bar was very cozy and all the staff was so friendly and kind. They helped us with luggage storage and transportation from and to the hotel. The breakfast was amazing too, lots of options to choose from. I recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to be in a central and safe area. There are plenty of restaurants around. We also went to their sister hotel Marriott On T zone to celebrate Christmas and I recommend them too. The service and food were top notch.

- Ben (10/5): Honest and helpful staff, solid accommodations - Everything about our stay was quite nice—except for one thing, but I’ll get into that later. The staff was responsive, honest, and helpful. The food at breakfast was delicious. The room was small but well-maintained and comfortable. All in all, A+ service. The ONLY drawback was that our toilet constantly smelled as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned in awhile. It also didn’t flush very well, and it got clogged once, but the hotel team took care of the clog quickly and got us back up and running in no time. We would definitely recommend staying here.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Book direct - I was relocated to another hotel after other hotel guests extended their stay. I booked through hotels.com, whereas other members in my group booked direct. We were split up, which was inconvenient for our short business trip, but I found the staff helpful in assisting in adjusting the booking and making sure I was accommodated in a comparable hotel.
- Lance (10/5): Excellent hotel! - We loved this hotel. It’s newer, great rooms, great bed and AC. It’s in a less busy part of town so it’s very quiet. The staff was great, the gym was good, so was the lobby and bar. We didn’t eat there, but around the corner is a fantastic retardant for breakfast called MASA. We ate there three mornings! I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Their service extended to the drivers they hire to take us around the city! Will definitely be staying here each time I come into Bógota!
- Juan Pablo (8/5): Functional and well located - PROS: Very good location, close to great restaurants and bars Osaki, Japanese restaurant on premises is very good and has room service CONS: Hotel is surrounded by taller buildings and a parking lot. My window (Tower 1- Rm. 503) overlooked the parking lot. So not your place if your looking for scenic, panoramic, or "green" city views. Make sure you like the decoration of your room. My wife found the painting in ours a bit sad and threatening--it depicted a black and white graffitti of a sad looking man behind a wired fence. Not very relaxing. SUMMARY: Functional and good value for money. Recommend if you are looking for a good and safe location, like quirky interior design, and do not care about city views.

At the last minute, as we were boarding to go to Bogota, we were told that a diplomatic group extended their stay and they needed to move us to another hotel for 2 nights and then back to them for 1 night . Very disappointing. A Colombian friend intervened and arranged for us to stay at the Four seasons, which was lovely.

Rooms a bit on the small side and not much of a view (at least in our room) but it’s a good value for what it is and the location is great. (Pro tip: Google maps and Uber tend to drop you off on wrong side and signage on front is a bit understated so pay attention to that)

- Richard (10/5): Amazing property and team! - This was my first trip to Bogota, and I could not have enjoyed myself more. The city is beautiful, and the hotel was amazing. If I had not know it was a Marriott property, I would have thought it was a family run business, where everyone working there was personally invested in the satisfaction of their guests. The GM, Eduardo, was a pleasure to deal with, and greeted us at breakfast each morning like an old friend. The staff immediately knew my name as well as those of my associates, and greeted us at every opportunity. One standout was the team at the Cooper bar, where the theatrics of having drinks made was like nothing I had ever seen. Overall, I can't recommend this property highly enough.
