Everyone that we encountered was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The front desk associate, Ariel was outstanding. He took such good care of all of our group. Jesus works in the bar and restaurant and was very attentive, taking care of us at every turn. The rooms are typical for many city hotels, a bit older and small but the beds were comfortable and we didn’t experience any noisy hallways or couldn’t hear any outside noice while in our room.

espinelm (4/5): The Best Staff, The Hotel NOT so much - First, I want to highlight the staff at this property—they were truly excellent. Mr. Ariel and Adan at the front desk went above and beyond to try to resolve the ongoing issues with our stay. From housekeeping to the café team, everyone was gracious and accommodating. Their efforts are the only reason I’m giving this review two stars. Unfortunately, the hotel itself fell far below expectations. The property feels very dated and is in serious need of a full renovation. Upon arrival, none of the four room keys provided worked due to a broken key reader. We were then moved to another room, where we still had to replace the keys twice for the same issue. Room 607 had multiple problems: the safe didn’t work, the floors were stained, and the bathroom fixtures were moldy and unclean. The AC unit was extremely disruptive, waking me up roughly every 45 minutes when it cycled on. Additionally, the elevator servicing the 6th floor was incredibly loud—it sounded like a crane hauling it up each time it moved. Overall, while the staff did everything they could, the condition of the hotel made for a very disappointing stay.

The valet parking prices are RIDICULOUS! And their little “bar and lounge,” The Ivy, is a joke of a place! Hilton needs to cut ties with that sad excuse of a bar and eatery. The biggest perk: proximity to the beach (right across the street)

If you're looking forsomething not right on the beach check out this location but it's a less than a five minute walk to the beach.

The location is hard to beat — right by the beach with easy access to the best of Collins Avenue. W9608VNjaneth (2/5): Worst Hilton ever - I don’t even know where to begin. The location is atrocious. There was no clear indication that we needed to park in another hotel and lug our things a block to the hotel and up 10 stairs.. I called the clerk to figure out how to unload and he kept saying go to the yellow lines. There was space for two cars and there was already three squeezed in. So we unloaded double parked and I tried to haul my things up those 10 stairs. I then went around to the ramp to the disabled door which I couldn’t figure out and the front clerk who was awful condescending and rude kept saying it's handicap. It’s handicap. It’s for handicapped. I told him I knew that but I couldn’t carry all my stuff up the stairs because I have a bad back and he just said-it’s for handicapp over and over. Whoever this guy was who was at the desk at 5 o’clock on February 11 needs to get a lesson in manners. When he finally handed my keys, he very rudely said breakfast is not included. The bar is pitiful and was out of all but one red wine and ran out of that after I had one glass. They wouldn’t let us charge to our room so I couldn’t get the Hilton points. I expect more for $600 a night and being a gold member as well as a Hilton Vacations owner.

He took the time to work with us and, within his discretion, helped us navigate a stressful moment. His willingness to advocate on our behalf and work within the policies available to him made a stressful experience much more manageable. Benjamin represents the hotel well, and his customer-focused approach during our emergency situation exemplifies the kind of service that builds lasting customer loyalty We’re very grateful for his support and wanted to recognize him for his compassion during our difficult situation.

They were not ready at 7am any of the 6 days we stayed this trip or the last. We are here for work and need to get in and out quickly in the morning. Por una estancia de 4 noches y 2 habitaciones de aprox 530 dólares cada una se quedaron cerca de 500 dólares a modo de depósito, que reembolsan pasados unos días del checkout, a tener en cuenta para los gastos y el dinero que vayas a llevar a EEUU, te puede descuadrar un poco. Las habitaciones se sentían un poco húmedas después de ducharse y la puerta del baño es semitransparente.

When I asked to use it, I was then told valet was full and that I needed to find street parking on my own. I asked if there was a parking lot or designated area and was simply told to “go that way” while the front desk pointed up the street. I eventually found street parking that only allows 6-hour parking, meaning I have to wake up at 3:00 AM to reset the meter. Completely unacceptable for a hotel stay. When I asked about the on-site restaurant, I never received a clear or direct answer. I then asked how to turn on the heat in the room and was told it cannot be turned on, despite it being 48 degrees outside. I requested four blankets and was only given two. Overall, the lack of communication, basic amenities, and customer service was shocking. Never stay here. Find another hotel. If I could give this place fewer stars, I would.

I live in New York, but whenever I come to Miami, this hotel truly feels like home. A big reason for that is Adam. Adam is simply the best. He is always kind, attentive, and incredibly professional. As someone who often travels alone, he consistently makes sure I feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of. His presence and care mean more to me than I can express. There are many hotels I could choose from, but I continue to book the Hilton Garden Inn Miami Beach not only for the location, but mainly because Adan is there. He creates a sense of warmth, familiarity, and genuine hospitality that is rare to find. He makes this place feel like family, and that’s why I truly love staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Miami Beach.

myronm998 (2/5): Extremely Disappointing Stay as a Diamond Member - I want to warn other travelers before booking this hotel. As a Diamond member, this was the worst Hilton experience I have ever had. The Hilton brand should be embarrassed to have this property in their portfolio. The hotel is very overpriced for the quality. The rooms are old and neglected and need a full renovation. There was also an unpleasant odor when entering the lobby that made a bad first impression. The photos I posted show the mildew and water damage on the bathroom ceiling, peeling paint, black spots along the edges, and rusted fixtures. The room felt low quality from the moment I walked in. One night the shower never got hot even after running it for 20 minutes. I had to take a cold shower. On other nights the fire alarm went off for no reason. Parking is also a major problem because there is no on site parking. You have to park at another hotel and walk around the block with your luggage. The staff were pleasant and apologized, but these issues are far beyond their control and fall entirely on ownership and management. This stay was so bad that I may seriously consider switching to Marriott or another brand after 15+ years of loyalty as Hilton diamond member. I DO NOT recommend anyone stay here!

Avril (10/5): Lovely clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff - Carolina at reception was outstanding, helpful and very accommodating. She even helped us sort out our uber issue and she was very kind and personable. Loved the fact that we were across from the beach.

239gagand (10/5): Best Staff Ever ( Ariel ) - Amazing hospitality from Ariel, me and my friends left a horrible Airbnb experience. Ariel was so understanding of our situation and just really made us feel taken care of. It made me feel like I was talking to a friend rather than an employee. I highly recommend Hilton Garden Inn. The room was amazing and again just felt so taken care of by Ariel. It was really heartwarming!

Explorer10564511728 (6/5): First experience - The place was lovely. However. They mentioned that every 2 days they will clean the rooms and put fresh towels. Unfortunately, we did not get that. On the third day, we complained, and then only did they come to clean and give fresh towels late in the afternoon/evening. Not alot of options for food. No help with bags.

josewilliamr492 (10/5): Book your stay here! - From the moment we arrived to the hotel, Ariel, a very charismatic and kind host, met all our need - explaining everything we needed to know so we could just check in and start relaxing. Very accommodating and genuine is how I would describe his demeanor with us. The rest of the experience was flawless but Ariel is who I’ll be remembering the most. Definitely will be staying here when we come back!

frenchkuff54 (2/5): Stay Away From This One!! - Although staff were friendly and accommodating, the hotel is dirty. They offer wheelchair accessible rooms, but they are barely large enough to move around. The elevators are tiny, so you can’t get luggage and a wheelchair in there at the same time. You need to use a back elevator to get to the basement for breakfast. It’s so small that we had to take leg rests off of the chair in order to fit. At 4 AM we had to switch rooms because there was a cockroach running around our room. Take my advice and stay at one of the many other properties in the area.

The facilities were comfortable, clean, and well maintained, which made everything easy and pleasant. What really stood out, however, was the service. A very special mention goes to Noelia, whose kindness, attention, and professionalism made us feel welcome from the very beginning. She was always helpful, approachable, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Thanks to her, our experience felt even more personal and memorable. Caroline and Ariel were so helpful and incredibly welcoming! It makes a difference when the front desk staff is amazing! My mom and I were staying close to the medical center where my dad was having surgery. Perfect location!
