Guest Reviews
- sherrell (10/5): - It was amazing
- Jason (10/5): - Size of the room. Very large and a pull out sofa if you need it
- Denise (10/5): - I loved the facility and the stay was on point. The showers however, don’t have enough pressure. Otherwise, no complaints from me.
- Ashley (8/5): - Staff was very friendly! There was a weird smell in the hallways but the room was fine.
- Vau (10/5): - I've been going to Natchitoches for 30 years, and this is the first time staying at Comfort Suites. We normally try to stay closer to Front Street. The town was booked up, and this was one of the only rooms available. The staff were so polite, the room was clean, cold, and so many pillows on the bed. The breakfast was plentiful and edible. I would definitely stay again. Lots of parking available even at a very busy time.
- Dara (10/5): Welcoming and Bright - The hotel staff was kind, funny, and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. When Dad went to breakfast, there wasn't much left (I guess the first wave was hungry), but by the time I arrived everything was full and very good. The potatoes with peppers were a nice surprise. Thank you for everything.
- Christina (4/5): - The shower didn’t drain at all. Allergies for my entire family were terrible. Not sure if it was the a/c or previous pets but the room had incredible musty smell.
- lakesha (4/5): - The 1st room smelled horrible and the air didn’t seem to be cooling; requested for another room
…:the smell was better and the air cooler but the tub would was not draining properly-had to twist the cap several times for it to work and it slowly drained
- Sumeko (10/5): - Very clean and friendly
- Amelia (2/5): - Still awaiting for an approval of my refund of the 6th day of my booking which was cancelled due to my car being tampered with while on premise. Never signed a document of liability of damages to personal property but they surely forged the initial agreement which I have a picture of. So their fault.
The hotel is playing games, saying they need a manager present to approve of the refund but say there won’t be one present for a while.
Been waiting since September 5th, it is now September 16th.
Expedia is doing what they can, I understand. But I just can’t understand the hotel.
I may have reserved my room with Expedia but I certainly paid for it at the hotel property. So they surely can issue a refund, they just refuse to.
Seems they need the money more. Good. They can use it towards their renovation of the hotel. Especially considering I found numerous bugs in all three of my hotel rooms after being moved twice. The first one’s door handle was loose along with the screws. The second one recked of fresh paint. And the third one, was dirty. I spent time cleaning the first and third rooms with lysol wipes since housekeeping didn’t do such a good job. Not sure to blame it on them or management but I am aware that they are rushed to clean.

- Garry (10/5): Always great - Stay here 4-5 times a year to break travel. Always stay here because of cleanliness and comfortable bed.
- Ninfa (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable.
- Dawn (10/5): Quick and comfortable! - It’s was clean and well kept! Rooms are old and the air wasn’t as cold. The shower was not as clean in the bottom as I would like had to shower in my slippers I didn’t realize I booked a handicap room the blinds didn’t go all the way down to keep out sun!
- Nakeitha (6/5): Most of all the stay was cool, just the minor issues stated above. - Cleanest and great breakfast The water doesn’t drain properly in the tub and y he towel had issues
- Mona (8/5): Very good - Water pressure in the hotel was bad!
- Sharon (9/5): We had air conditioner trouble, extra noisy, and it was replaced while we went out for dinner. - The rooms were big and clean. Parking was tricky because the hotel was full.
- Wanda (8/5): - Super friendly staff and it was very clean
- David (5/5): But over all. We enjoyed our stay. - It was beautiful. We always stay here when we are staying over night in Natchitoches,La I had made reservations early and when we got to the hotel to check in. We requested Room 118 the handicap room on the first floor , They had given the room to someone else. They gave us another handicap room on the third floor and we had problems with getting in the room the card wasn’t working right.
- Kristi (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ulyssis (10/5): - Whenever i book a stay here; im always pleased by how clean, quiet and friendly the hotel is. No complaints about this place at all.
- Chad (8/5): - Very decent hotel and convenient location.
- Marlon (8/5): Very good -
- Cori (7/5): Good -
- William (4/5): Night person at desk giving out false information. - Lady at front desk at approximately 6 pm 5/22/25 stayed on her cell phone at all times. Had to come back down to desk after checking in due to cards not working. She was still on phone. Called 5 times, letting it ring a half dozen times, with no answer. Went down and told her my tv would blank the screen every few minutes. She told me all of them were doing that and it was due to the company that now owned them. NO solution, so no TV. Called again 5 or 6 times about 9 pm to request a wake up call and got no response. Bed was also too hard. woke up with back ache and crick in my neck. Horrible night. Check out early and moved to Fairfield. MUCH better on all accounts including breakfast.
- Harold (10/5): Exceptional -

- Tressie (10/5): - Professional; cleanliness;
- Kristin (8/5): Very good - Hotel and room was nice and clean, also had a great continental breakfast.
- Christina (10/5): - Nice staff quiet
- Joy (10/5): We were there twice this week to be able to spend more time with my father in law during his final days and subsequent p - Everything Not one complaint
- Kathy (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was great. Huge selection and the employee kept everything stocked and clean. I had some one on the floor above me with kids jumping off the bed and couch at 11:30 at night. It was rather irritating when you pay that much money. Other than that the hotel was very quiet.
I would also suggest something to hold on to when getting in and out of the bathtub. I am not handicapped but am older and needed something for balance. The tub was slick and I was afraid I was going to fall.
- Angel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marceaux (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brent (7/5): Great overall - Comfortable bed, soft pillows lighting was great Parking could have been better.
- Kristin (6/5): - Though we’ve stayed here before and will probably stay here again, this stay wasn’t the best. The worst thing was we couldn’t get into our room with our key card EVERY TIME we left. Had to go back down and have it reprogrammed each time which was a huge hassle! We had an ADA accessible room which served its purpose, but would have been much easier for my husband if there was some type of nonslip strips or mat in the tub and a handheld shower head. Other than those few things, or stay was great!
- Barbara (6/5): - Love the hotel itself. Very comfortable beds but parking is terrible. Not enough spots for the amount of people who book here. I come weekly and this is always the case.
- Barbara (10/5): - Clean and the most comfortable beds ever!
- Michelle (8/5): - Place is nice newly renovated two summers ago but 12 years old. The showers are the only thing that's sucked. But rooms nice it does have a a smell it's not unpleasant but it's kind of purfumy. Now the thing that makes this hotel is the breakfast it's da bomb .com!!! Potatoes biscuits cereals meat eggs all the carbs as well awesome!!
- Annette (6/5): Pleasant - Good overnight The first room given us smelled bad, like urine and the carpet seemed dirty. We requested a different room and it was excellent. Staff was helpful in switch.
- Barbara (10/5): - Property was clean, check in was quick and easy. Room was nice annd clean and spacious. Will always stay here when in natchitoches.
- jana (10/5): - The hotel is nice but there is construction in the area and it’s difficult to get into the hotel parking
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lakeitha (5/5): Blah - Location was great The staff was very unfriendly and racist
- Jim (9/5): Superb -
- James (8/5): Very good - Location
- Gerald (10/5): Very nice. -
- Tonica (10/5): My stay - As always Comfort Suites is my go to when I’m visiting home. It’s affordable, clean and the staff is always pleasant. I will be back 😂
- Leslie (8/5): Very good - Right off 49, beds comfortable , great stay
- Jeff (6/5): Good … parking & checkin were bad first impressions. - Bed & room were great. Parking. No service at desk when I came in - for 5 min I stood & waited.
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Sammye (9/5): Our stay was not exceptional. In all consideration, the hotel was undergoing an unannounced evaluation visit. We stay - Friendly staff Breakfast was average. Biscuits were hard. Sausage under cooked.
- Elissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolyn (8/5): The Hotel was very nice , surrounding had great stores and several Fast food places - Good location
- Thomas (10/5): Great Mattress! - The bed was so comfortable I thought about stealing the mattress but it wouldn't fit into my Honda Civic.
Ample breakfast Coffee was even decent. Over all 10 out of 10 in meeting my needs.
- Jeremy (2/5): Bad plumbing - Our room had a plumbing problem and we had to use the bathroom next to the main lobby and front desk. Because of the short staffing due to the holidays, it took a while to speak with someone about it and when a work order was placed, it wouldn’t be fixed until a couple of days after our checkout date.
We also found out that it wasn’t just our room, but multiple rooms on our hallway were having the same problem.
Not the best stay for a family of 5 traveling for the holidays. Will definitely do a bit more research for other locations to stay the next time we come to visit family for the holidays.
- Adolfo (7/5): Good -
- Kenneth (10/5): Our stay was excellent and the workers were very helpful. - Cleanliness and Courtesy
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not terrible but not the best either - Night clerk was friendly but the shower has terrible water pressure and he said that's an issue with all the rooms, comforter had some stains, and found a dead bug and a live bug in the bed, not sure what kind they were.
- Al (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was very friendly, location was great, breakfast was really good, all areas of facility was clean
- Kimberley (2/5): "Cancelled" by internet. Overbooked in 10 minutes. - The hotel cancelled our stay saying they were overbooked. I had just spoken to the clerk 10 minutes prior who said he was looking at my key and reservation. We had pay at the property, but they ran the card anyway. We were less than 10 miles away when I spoke to him. When we got there, he was away from the desk. We unloaded everything in the rain. Clerk stated that the internet cancelled. He called a supervisor. We continued to wait. Supervisor would correct the problem. Nope. Overbooked. We have nothing for you. I told him that hotels.com showed another room, a suite, that was even cheaper than what we reserved originally. I showed him where I was charged. He would not listen. He called another hotel to see if they had room. They did. Much cheaper. I am now having to fight the charge as the room was "cancelled" after 3 pm and charged as a cancellable fee. The experience was unprofessional and should not have happened. This experience has soured my Comfort Inn and chains permanently.
- Terry (10/5): - Very clean and staff was very helpful
- CRIS (10/5): - Was super clean, and comfortable. Initial greeting was very pleasant. Breakfast was great. We were very pleased with our stay. Highly recommended.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Brent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (9/5): Superb -
- Sylvia (10/5): - Friendly, clean, quiet & safe
- Tanya (10/5): - Great experience
- Sheila (8/5): Very good -
- Rosa (8/5): Enjoyable.l Likes the Christmas decorations. - Breakfast meet expectations.
My stay was less than 24 hrs, I did not get a full experience.
Location was convenient for my needs. Nothing, due to short stay.
- Kathy (10/5): Great accommodations at a fair price. - Breakfast had excellent choices to meet a variety of diet requirements. Staff was always friendly and responsive. Room was very spacious as well as the bathroom (handicap accessible). Would definitely stay here again. Getting to the parking lot was difficult especially after dark, but that was due to construction, and not the hotel’s fault.
- Carol (8/5): - Everyone very plesant
- Sharon (9/5): First time staying with Comfort Suites. Would stay again. - Location and size of the room.
Breakfast was very good.
Staff very friendly. Alaina and Dakota at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Parking could be better. Could use more spaces. Better layout.
- Davis (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely great
- Kay (10/5): Relaxing trip to see the famous Natchitoches lights. - The breakfast and location. The road work.
- Marilyn (10/5): - Room is very nice. King room with a couch, large tv, very clean.
- Austin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Buck (10/5): Very enjoyable. Cookies in the afternoon served!! - The breakfast was excellent for a moderate meal:) Food was great. The staff was very friendly. They didn’t serve water at the breakfast time but how can you complain about that?
- Jeremy (10/5): wonderful - the room was spacious and very handicap friendly nothing
- Nathaniel (4/5): - First and foremost, my wife and I asked why we had two Billings showing inside my app. The person behind the counter said that second charge was going back on the card when we leave. This was a lie we ended up showing one charge for over $500.
Secondly, the beds were extremely too low. We might as well have been sleeping on the floor. I have a disability that prevents me to get close to the ground!!
No, I will never go back to any Comfort Inn’s and will get now more things to check from here on!
