She was phenomenal; professional & caring. After learning that I have cancer, she made me very happy. She prioritized by accommodations. She did that with others also!! Please give her whatever she deserves on her job to make her continue showing her natural ability to consider others.

Trisha0001 (10/5): Life saver - We were visiting colleges / universities with our daughter and had a last minute change of schedule. Anahi at reception was understanding, professional, and very clever with helping us amend our travel plans. It was a huge relief to sort out the change given how many other things we had to navigate because a university offered our daughter an interview at the last minute. The hotel has a lovely water location and water view. The rooms represented reasonable value for money. The staff, especially at breakfast, was very accommodating to our daughter's food allergies. My only gripe was that our conditioner and shower gel were completely empty. I only realised this after I finished shampooing my hair as the bottles are opaque!

Bas (8/5): Prachtig hotel op “bijzondere” locatie, auto eigenlijk noodzakelijk - Prachtig hotel met ruime en fijne kamers. Wij hadden een terras en het was heerlijk om daar eind van de middag nog even van de zon te genieten. Basic maar prima ontbijt. Met de auto dichtbij de ferry naar San Francisco, je kunt gratis daar parkeren door je ticket te valideren op of bij de ferry. Deze brengt je in 20 min naar hartje SF en is nog leuke tocht ook. Ligt erg afgelegen en dicht langs een drukke snelweg. Qua geluid hadden wij daar niet zoveel last van, maar zonder auto zit je hier wel erg “opgesloten”. Daarbij in de omgeving veel armoede op straat, zou ‘s avonds niet graag over straat lopen.

We paid extra to have early check in and the roo8were not ready until 2:30 when regular check in was at 3. Kids wanted to swim in the pool but didn't feel comfortable going to the next door hotel.

She made the check in fast and easy, gave us advice on close places to eat and had the best vibe and attitude! We truly can’t wait to come back! Its staff like her that truly make the trip worth it. We went for a bad Omans concert and our trip couldn’t have been better. The breakfast food was great, the staff were so sweet, the carts all worked and were easy to find, the ice machine was close and the rooms were so clean. The options for snacks food and drinks is top notch. The beds were truly heavenly. It’s the best night sleep we had in months! We had to look online to order the bedding( you can buy their brand on Amazon). We loved it so much. Plus the ship recks make the view. Joanna (10/5): The best ladies weekend ever! - Omg I luv the staff, the food, the bed, the space and of course the cute ship recks! Miss. Kim at the front desk is a GOD send. She was so nice and told us a few spots for food before our concert! She made our girls weekend absolutely amazing! I loved the breakfast, the comfy and clean rooms, the beds, how nice the staff was. Miss Kim is the best from the front desk.

There was a housekeeper who reminded me of my grandma who passed a few months ago and it felt like she was still with me. She was so kind just like her. The room was so nice on the water and the front desk girl Anahy was so helpful when I was checking in she even told me about some hair stuff I’m going to buy!! I will for surely be coming back bc the water pressure and tub in my room was TOO good 😭❤️‍🔥

She was friendly and made sure I had what I needed at check-in (which was fast by the way) and answered all of my questions. I really enjoyed my stay and the views onto the estuary were magnificent. Great breakfast and easy access to downtown Oakland, the freeway, and SF. I highly recommend staying here.

They accommodated every ask and went above and beyond by accepting my grubhub when I on my way back for my dinner. I found hair in the tub and on the bath towels. I also didn't like that housekeeping went in my room while I was gone out for the day after I told the front desk I declined services. My things were moved around and some stuff even thrown away like my hair net.

Janèe (9/5): Great stay! - I love the front desk team. We stayed 4 or 5 nights and everyone was polite, professional, and very accommodating. We had a beautiful view of the lake front and the hot breakfast was great (sausage links, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, potatoe, yogurt, muffins, and waffles....etc..). It is the same thing every morning but you have a wide range of options. So you could create a new breakfast yourself every morning. I would like for the bathroom to be cleaned a bit better. There was hair in the bath tub and the foot mat that goes in the bottom of the tub was dirty.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and feel at home. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Kim and Mele were outstanding: professional, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless and pleasant, which made a real difference. Their kindness and efficiency set the tone for the entire stay. I would absolutely return and recommend this property to anyone looking for a smooth, friendly, and well-run place to stay in Oakland.
168joeq (8/5): Altogether a pleasant stay - We stayed one night, the night after Christmas. There were very few guests. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view of the estuary was lovely. In the evening we took a short walk to the hotel next door for a bite to eat. Breakfast was decent. The staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient. Despite the warnings about crime in the city, we had a delightful stay.

I stayed for about a week and had a waterfront view it was truly beautiful and peaceful, I will be staying again

phpbradley1 (10/5): Best Western Stay - I stayed at your hotel recently and I usually dont write reviews. However upon arrival I was greeted by Kim, who was most pleasant and professional. I would recommend staying here. Priced affordable, rooms clean and staff helpful.
Ty Love (6/5): Heartbroken - The water view, and the coffee machine. I really was disappointed when I was told that they couldn't do anything about the Wi-Fi in our room. It didn't work the whole time. We were there Saturday till Monday, and I had work to do and was unable to do it. I would also like it if they switched the breakfast up. And the cooks cook the food longer the food was undone. The room is not cheap, so I have expectations that things would work, and the service would be better. Me and partner came to grieve the loss of his sister in peace, and the room she gave me was near all the noise . When I asked why, couldn't we go to the 3rd floor she said it was sold out. No one ever came to a few rooms we noticed above us from the balcony view. She could have switched and gave them our room. However, the morning staff was nice and gave us a late check-out. I am really disappointed.
