For the price it would have been nice to have a 3D person. Not a lady on a screen. A Directorie to restaurants, TV programs, and fun things to do. Would have been nice to have in the room.

Alicia (4/5): - The location was fine. The room was worn. The bed is older and uncomfortable. Towels with holes. Everything was outdated. There is a half-inch gap under the door, which we had to block with a rolled up towel. When entering the lobby, there is a virtual "desk clerk" not an actual person.

Karen (5/5): It was fine. I was only there one night. - Right next to the beach! So great! I loved the watching the sea lions down the pier. The room had hairballs floating around on the floor. The sink didn't drain properly. Was that a meth lab out back? Sketch. I thought the virtual receptionist was an interesting idea, but did not give the welcoming feel other hotels do. The breakfast in the morning offered granola bars and the tiniest muffins ever seen and that was it.

We had prepaid for our room then as we were checking in we were told that in addition we had to give our credit card number for a $100 in case of damages to the room. We didn’t mind the deposit, what we didn’t like was that we felt we should have been informed of the deposit before hand. Then when we got to our room right away I noticed that there was a rip in the one of the chairs. So I took a picture and went back to the kiosk and spoke to person letting them know that we did not damage that chair. She did make a note of it.

Tammy (5/5): - Close to the beach, easy to get to. The front desk staff (not the kiosk) were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is more like Walmart snacks, not really breakfast. They don't clean or take out trash at all until after you leave, which with the beach sand gets all over. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better it had burgers on the walls from previous people. The tube side wall moved significantly and appeared to have a substantial amount of buildup.

Michele (7/5): Ok - Close to beach, clean spacious room. The breakfast was not really a breakfast it was granola bars, apples and cupcakes of all things. The worst part was the constant beeping noise every 10-20 seconds day and night. It was coming from somewhere outside and was just loud enough to be annoying and keep me awake and then it woke me up too. It almost drove me crazy until I left.

Mica (7/5): - The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I was here in March and could see that quiet may depend on how busy the adjoining RV Lot is. There was only one family taking advantage of the lot that was just outside our window. Check in is with a virtual assistant - a real person but on a computer screen. This was strange but I did later learn that this person could request assistance from on site personnel if needed.

Felicity (8/5): We had a nice stay. It was perfect location for driving to the schools for the basketball tournament. - I loved the location since it was walking distance to the harbor. I really enjoyed seeing the ocean from our room. If you are going to offer breakfast, it would be nice if there are more choices than some granola bars & other sweet treats that aren’t typically eaten for breakfast. This felt more like a snack bar.

540jonh (10/5): Great Place To Stay - Had a great time at this hotel while visiting the Redwoods. This hotel is located within walking distance of many restaurants. Rooms are very clean and beds are great. Great views of the ocean in our room. Will definitely return here to stay in the future.

clay (8/5): - oceanfront, windows can be opened to hear the water. room is very clean, no mold or mildew anywhere in the rooms like other hotels offered in the surrounding area. very clean and refreshing no snack vending machine, just drinks. would be a privilege to have snacks as well.
Paul (8/5): - A woman on the staff didn’t want go get more hot water towards the end of the breakfast hour. She probably did this because she thought nobody else was coming in because it was the end of the breakfast time My wife needed it and this could’ve been handled by the staff a lot better. In my mind, the customer is very important and it’s not very hard to get more hot water for someone. It should be done gladly.
Paige (5/5): - The housekeeping staff invaded my privacy by going into my room without my permission although i had a do not disturb sign on my door. I reported to the computer thing( there wasn't a real person to talk to) nothing was done about my issue.

Sandra (1/5): By far one of the worst stays we’ve ever had. - Location was easy access to road and beach. Size of room was good for me and the kids to move around freely. The bathroom was very dirty and the tub was so slippery that my delayed/deaf daughter fell twice and my son also fell once. I had to come and help them so they could finish their shower. Afterwards I showered myself and felt how slippery the bath tub floor was as I almost fell myself. The shower head was not screwed on tight and there was water squirting everywhere from the thread. I had to tighten it myself. The drains were clogged, bathroom floor was dirty, and there wasn’t enough room on counter for toiletries. Beds were very uncomfortable and had stains on sheets. It also had sheets with random holes that look like they had been burn/melted with something. The sofa bed was the absolute worst. We ended up having to pull the little 2” mattress onto floor so my kids could actually sleep. Lastly the cleaning staff to us that it was time to go about 1 hour before we actually had to leave.
Karen (9/5): Conveniently located to the redwoods, comfortable, clean, would stay here again. - Very clean, it appeared recently remodeled, great location if you're there to hike the Redwoods. Laundry units were available for a small cost. We arrived very late due to a road accident and the virtual assistant was available for a late check in. A travel/tourism/hiking guide that included the best restaurants nearby.

The lady at the desk said that once it was empty she wouldn’t make more. From a service standpoint that is not a good response. She should’ve said of course I’ll get you more. Whatever you need.. that’s service and not asking too much my opinion.

sabrinaw891 (8/5): Rooms clean and dog friendly - We loved the room and location. We had an ocean view. We always travel with our dog and were so happy to find a clean room that accepts dogs. My only complaint is that you use a room spray that is extremely overwhelming. We opened the windows and went to the ocean for a while in hopes the smell would clear out. It did not. Also, you need to update your mattresses old spring mattresses are not very comfortable.

The inside was very outdated, the outside of the bath was broken you could push it in and it would break, it didn’t smell clean when we walked in, the bed was very uncomfortable and hard, the sheet and “comforter” was very thin so our sleep wasn’t comfortable, the towels had stains(or they weren’t washed), they didn’t smell clean, they were also very small and thin, it looked like the first towels the hotel first purchased. There was mold on the toilet paper. We paid for a King bed but it was not the size of a King bed.
Kendall (8/5): Good place to stay - Clean and affordable motel. Only takes a couple of minutes to walk to the beach. They use a virtual assistant at a kiosk to check you in. I found this impersonal, although the assistant did do a good job and was very friendly. I guess I'm old fashioned, I enjoy talking to employees in person.

I specifically booked here as we were on a long haul trip & breakfast really helps us in the morning..nobody available,no coffee, no food. Absolutely a joke!! I have written to the hotel twice with no response.. Please don't give this hotel your time
