Guest Reviews
- briannF1000XX (10/5): DIDN'T GET MURDERED!!! - 5 Stars for sure because we woke up...alive. Not to say a family of 7 isn't buried in the pool, but hey, we made it out. Great place to stay if you're looking for a good ol' fashioned crime story. Would recommend and stay again.
- 727jefff (4/5): At least the roof did not leak - It's cheap and that is the best thing you can say about it, seemed clean, bad TV, no coffee machine, no cups in the bathroom, Ac / heater not working right, thin walls, highway noise. Check in guy could not figure out how to use CC/debit without me giving him my PIN for my bank account, will not return .
- RandomRedneckgi (2/5): This place is disgustimg - This place has BED BUGS. INFESTATION. I stayed for 2 nights for about $100 and the next day we stripped the beds and found bed bug dirt ALL OVER THE ENTIRE MATTRESS and I put a dead bug in a tissue and brought it to the front desk. Also showed him the bites we both had all over. This place needs to be shut down by the health department I don't know how they still get business. I would never recommend anyone to ever stay here, in fact I would recommend you sleep outside or in your car instead!!
- DrewS136 (6/5): Making improvements - They are renovating the rooms so new carpet, paint etc. spartan accommodations but was clean with new sink/toilet/shower. There was no closet so don't bring clothes to hang! Tv worked and good variety of cable channels. AC and Heat
Site right in business 611 N so gonna hear some.noise from traffic
Just a basic room and $80 was more than I expected but significant improvement from what they used to be
- Verified traveler (4/5): Staff seems unresponsive. - The room had no glass and the TVwas not functioning. It took a couple of requests to get service on the TV. There is no daily room service for stays of more than one day. No breakfast of any kind.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room was dirty...TV did not work...others where living there.......junk laying all over outside
- Zachary (6/5): Middle of nowhere, no problem - Had a great time hanging out on the porch in the back.
- WonderingAnWandering (4/5): I have stayed in worse motels, but not many - The best part about staying at this motel is the surprises that await you. There were no channels available on the TV but that didn't matter as entertainment was provided by the motel. After getting used to the smell of cigarettes we soon discovered the unique features - the leaves on the floor in the entrance of the room, the missing bottom to the drawers, the TV with no channels, the absent telephone (the wire was still there, though), the never-been-cleaned toilet.
My companions all shared one of the beds and wrapped themselves in a blanket they had brought with them. I braved the other bed on my own, although there was nothing unpleasant in the bed and the sheets were clean (albeit burnt in places). At 2am we were woken by the smoke alarm and a smell of burning paper (not tobacco!). After checking the area for fires, we decided it must have been one of the other guests destroying evidence before the police raided the place in the morning.
MUST SEE - the outdoor pool with shrubs growing in it and the "Do Not Enter" sign on the fence.
Still, I did have a good laugh and for $50 it is worth the money IF you have a good sense of humor, or in an emergency (as it was for us)
- Not Provided (2/5): Think Twice before staying - We arrived at 10pm and needed a place to see family with 2 children and a pet dog approx. 45lbs. The motel attendant was behind a locked cage and non-english speaking. They advertised pet friendly family atmosphere; however, odd people arrived in/out. Initially we requested a non-smoking room; however, was given a smokers room which was terrible. Could not breath and we are allergic to smoke. There were holes in the wall, the end table had a broken drawer without a bottom, the sheets were dirty didn't appear to clean very good. We refused to sleep under the covers went to the car to get another sheet/blanket to cover the beds. Toilet/tub did not appear to have been cleaned. Would not recommend a long term stay. We were on our travels to Va. and just needed a rest stop but would have preferred to stay elsewhere. However, other Hotel.com reservations was much better after that stay.
- Jordan (2/5): Cheap in price + quality - The hotel is pretty bare bones
There were holes in the floor under the carpet, and the room smelled like smoke (non-smoking). Service was really weird as they didn't have any of my information despite making a reservation online. They wanted to charge me more too.
- paul (4/5): close to town - in all our travels, we have stayed at much nicer facilities at a much lower cost. lots of maintenance issues. Picture on expedia web site does not represent what we found upon arrival.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disappointing! - Was not the best. Tub stopper was broke, not enough towels, no ice machine as was broke & one bed was not even made one day.
- regina (4/5): Rethink this motel. - When I made the reservation it was to attend a dog show. I obviously had dogs with me. Hotels .com listed as pets at no extra charge. When I got there I was told that they do not accept pets. The gentleman was nice enough after some coercing on my part to let me keep my dogs in my room. Towels were not white as they should have been. Room clean but no hair dryer, no tissues just the empty box. Not a pleasant experience.
- Verified traveler (2/5): A place to sleep and shower. Nothing positive. - Found online at the last minute for a New Hope event. For the price, I expected something at least halfway decent.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel was dirty . Other people's hair on sheets.. Stains on bed covers
- Obedience dogs (4/5): Not what was advertised - I booked this hotel while going down for a dog show. I had searched pet friendly hotels. The site stated $10 pet fee, no problem. They also advertised kitchenettes with full size fridge, microwaves. When I arrived signs stating NO PETS. 30 minutes with the help of Expedia, I was finally permitted to check in. My room had none of the amenities stated but I still paid the same price. Then my neighbors had very loud, very vulgar fight all evening. Upsetting my dog who felt he then needed to stay close and protect me all night. Neither of us slept well. Next night was quieter, but he felt compelled to bark and growl when they would approach the room or slam their door.
- N8492EJjessicas (2/5): flat out crap - Me and a few friends came up here for a few days to relax and unwind nope! This is place is absolutely disgusting. There was no hot water and the remotes didn't work on top of that there was a nice long list of pron on my television in specific. The customer service was horrible the guy did not help me at all and over charged me by the way! I was given a set price online when I booked and he charged me an extra 10 I mean don't get me wrong its just 10 bucks but seriously? It took him forever to check us in and he clearly did not know what he was doing. His English was bad too so it was very frustrating to talk to him. I am usually very laid back and try not to make a big deal over spilled milk but you at least have to have good customer service especially when there is like no one staying here. I have gone to some bad motels but this has to be the worst one I have ever gone to. I wish I had the option to not give a rate but sadly I don't.
- 22tanyab (2/5): Disgusting, drive on - Dirty, dirty, dirty. We actually suspect that some of the rooms, the one across the parking lot from ours, were mostly used for illicit business activities. The toweles should be thrown out, burned. There was a hole in the door of the bathroom that had been badly plastered over. There were no light bulbs in the lamps next to the bed. The doormat in front of the door was a piece of plywood.
- slummer (6/5): Seedy but affordable - Your quintessential seedy motel. No clock, hangers, coffee maker or shampoo. On the other hand, the rate was a flat $50 (cheapest motel in Doylestown) and, when the girl who answered the phone at the desk told me there were smoking rooms (there aren't) then passed the phone to a man who spoke slightly better English, he graciously conceded to let ne smoke in the room anyway.
No coffee or anything in the lobby, but there's a good deli across the street (careful, it's a four-lane highway) and pretty good cable on the tv.
I wasn't looking for anything classy, so I was content. You might want to keep your door locked, though.
- Sledboy1 (2/5): Stay away - Have to beg for trash bags rooms are dirty beds have dirt left between covers. Owner has no customer service sl Drugs are sold out of rooms andK there are fights nightly police are always being called if power goes out there's no running water outlets for electric cause circuit breaker to trip for no good reason fire harzard
