- Neal (3/5): - We stayed at Tritone Top House in Rome, and the location was fantastic—just a 5-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and plenty of restaurants nearby. We were really happy with the central location. However, the downside was a persistent moldy smell as soon as we entered the apartment. The bathroom was extremely cramped—barely room to fit in the shower, and the water pressure and hot water were both really weak. To top it off, we were surprised by a €40 cleaning fee on top of everything. So, overall, great location, but the condition and value didn’t really match up.
- Caris (7/5): Comfortable stay and good value - just unclear on the actual location and booking charges - This was a great flat in a handy location for accessing all the tourist hotspots. We had a large apartment style booking which was very private and although the bedroom faced onto the main street we slept very well and felt safe in the area. It was very confusing to try and contact the property and find it - the signage is quite confusing, the lifts weren't working, and it turned out the flat we were in wasn't actually where the property is listed. This was okay as I was travelling with my partner but I would have hated being taken to an unknown location if I was travelling alone. So be sure to know WHERE the apartment you've booked. ALSO if you have accessibility needs I'd check that there are no steps, as although there is a lift it was up stairs to reach it. (be conscious of that if travelling with lots of luggage as well!) There was also a peculiar situation in the way they charged my card, it seemed like they only charge a certain amount to the card and then wanted the rest in cash, it was very confusing so I'd clarify that before you arrive as well. The bathroom was pretty dated and shower didn't work properly but we managed fine.

Деньги не вернули , съехали через 30 минут Мы забронировали номер на одну ночь , встретил приятный молодой человек , но после случилось то, что оставило самые отрицательные впечатления . Нам сказали , что якобы делают апгрейт на более большую комнату , мы шли около 10 минут и к большому удивлению оказались в странном месте со стеклянными дверьми , вокруг находилось около 3-4 подобного вида «ночлежек» …. Темная, сырая, плохо пахнущая комната. Мы написали обо всем персоналу, на что получили нерадостный ответ: комната находится в безопасном месте , обмену не подлежит . Пришлось в 22.00 ночи искать в срочном порядке отель , сняли номер за 265 евро, но хотя бы спали на чистом белье и в безопасности. Отель деньги не вернул

It was much older, poorly maintained, and not recently renovated. There were clear signs of humidity, bad smells coming from the bathroom, and overall poor cleaning standards. The experience did not meet expectations or the description provided on Booking.

Come genitori di due bimbi piccoli, avevamo necessità di usare la cucina, ma il set di pentole era vecchio e rovinato. Anche dopo aver sollecitato la sostituzione, il problema non è stato risolto poiché ci sono stati forniti utensili poco migliori dei precedenti.

- Israel (6/5): “Bueno, bonito y barato” - Lo que más me gustó fue la ubicación, está prácticamente a 5-10 minutos del centro, en una calle relativamente tranquila. La chica que nos atendió fue muy maja. La habitación no es gran cosa, pero para lo que la queríamos fue perfecta. En cuanto a sus puntos negativos: - Hace mucho frío en las habitación (al menos en la mía) y el aire no funcionaba. Aunque he de decir que tras comunicarlo nos solucionaron el problema de inmediato. - No había gel de ducha, solo crema de cuerpo y champú. Aunque nosotros llevábamos el nuestro. - Unq cosa que nos molestó fue que cuando dejamos las maletas por que cogíamos el avión por la tarde, nos dejaron las maletas en medio del pasillo!!, cuado en su momento nos dijeron que la subirían a su “recepción”. - El pago de la tasa de turista te los hacen en efectivo (30€ ) por lo que conviene llevar efectivo(cosa que no entiendo). En definitiva, no es un hotel como tal, es un edificio que han convertido en habitaciones turísticas. Dentro definitiva lo que cabe, no se está mal, para una pareja que no quiera gastarse mucho dinero como nosotros, este es tu sitio !

Location is not necessarily ideal and check in/ - The staff were friendly and accommodating and provided an extra pillow on request. Roof terrace is a nice feature and the shower is a good size. Instructions were not all that clear for check in, as multiple messages on the site and via the booking confirmation suggest you need to go to the main Tritone property to check in, but this was not the case, so after climbing 3 flights of stairs to search for reception, we were sent a 10 minute walk away to our actual apartment where we did check in. The location also seemed to suggest the other building was near the Trevi fountain, but it’s actually near the Spanish steps, so not really where I was looking to book. I completely understand it being noisy in a capital city but the windows may as well be paper, perhaps ear plugs could be provided. Also, the website suggests there are full pastry breakfast options available but staff informed us this was not the case when we enquired. Only tea and coffee were complimentary in the room, no further snacks or a token small bottle of water or wine which I might expect for the price.

It was small and basic (but no one goes to Rome to stay in their room anyway) but clean and good value for the price. The staff were friendly. Other guests were quite noisy late at night but not the hosts fault.

Building is charming and apartment as well. Bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. Only thing that I would add as not so great is the fact that we didn’t get the apartment that we booked and they informed us about that upon the arrival. At the end apartment that we got was bigger than the one that we booked, as they said and in general everything was fine and location of this one was just a street away, so all good. In general we were really happy with our stay and I would definitely recommend it🤗🫶🏼

The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room were all thoughtfully designed, cozy, and very comfortable. To be honest, for a few days I even felt like a real local 🇮🇹 It’s one of those rare places that is not just for staying, but for feeling and experiencing. A big advantage is the location — very convenient and close to the city center, which made our trip even more enjoyable and easy. Ancak çıkış günü sabah erken saatte house keeping çalışanı kapıyı çaldı ve saat 11den önce cikmamiz gerektiğini yeni müşteri geleceğini söyledi. İletişim dili kötüydü. Mini bar diye bir şey uydurmuslar. 2 tane paketli yiyecek koymuşlar onu da tuzak şeklinde ikram gibi duzenlemisler ama değil. Sakın mini bari kullanmayin! Yatağın alti çok tozluydu, pisti. Saç kurutma makinası çok eski. Odalar fotoğraftakilerden biraz daha küçük.

- Taşdemir (9/5): Tarihi birçok noktaya yürüme mesafesinde oldukça avantajlı bir konuma sahip. Temizlik gayet iyi düzeyde ve rahat sessizd - Konum ve temizlik( odanın Hergün toplanıp temizlenmesi) çok iyiydi.

- Sandrine (3/5): Leider sehr enttäuschend - Das einzig wirklich Positive war die Lage: sehr zentral und alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir wurden nicht im gebuchten Hotel untergebracht, sondern in einem anderen Gebäude in der Via dei Babuino 70. Das ist kein richtiges Hotel, sondern ein altes Haus, in dem Wohnungen zu einfachen Zimmern umgebaut wurden. Eine richtige Rezeption gibt es dort auch nicht, alles wirkt sehr lieblos. Unser erstes Zimmer hat sehr stark nach Abfluss gerochen, was mit starken Duftstoffen überdeckt wurde. Das Bad war vernachlässigt, teilweise schimmlig, und in der Wand der Dusche war ein großes Loch, das einfach mit Panzerkleberband zugeklebt war. Außerdem extrem hellhörig und die Heizung ließ sich nicht regulieren, lief die ganze Nacht volle Pulle. Laut Personal sollten wir die Klimaanlage an machen oder das Fenster auf machen... Nach einer Beschwerde bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer, das etwas besser war, aber immer noch gerochen hat und ebenfalls sehr hellhörig war. Die Bilder auf Booking.com entsprechen nicht die Wirklichkeit.

- lynne coleman (3/5): ABSOLUTE CON, Not apartment in photos AND £300 EXTRAS charged for 3 nights stay - Apartment was ok but was not the apartment in the photos, NO outside space, No nice balcony as in photos and very basic and old and no character, completely different apartment than the one advertised We were totally ripped off, advised the day before travel that there was an extra charge for 2 people, despite it being a 2 bed apartment that we had booked, we had advised 10 months previously that when we had booked we were unable to put for 4 people on booking.com system. They acknowledged this and there was NO mention of any extra payment, the day before we travelled they demanded another £150 for 3 nights, then whilst we were there they advised we needed to also pay for cleaning £80, no mention of this previosly and city tax again no mention before hand . They took the money from my account and it came to an additonal £300 on top. ABSOLUTE RIP OFF and not even the apartment we had booked

- carola (8/5): una gran opcion en el corazon de roma - la ubicacon es inmejorable y la atencion en el front desk tambien. La terraza con cafe de cortesia fue un plus muy valorado fue confuso el tipo de alojamiento, parecia en el aviso que era un departamento pero en realidad eran habitaciones de hotel, pero resultaron ser muy comodas

- Alessia (10/5): Fantastico ! - La struttura di trova a qualche minuto a piedi da piazza di Spagna,la camera era abbastanza piccola,ma aveva tutto il necessario. C’è la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in custodia gratuitamente. La ragazza che ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo è stata veramente gentilissima. Lo consiglio vivamente. Nulla
