Guest Reviews
- Ekaterina (7/5): - A lot of space, kitchen, location. Do not stay in room 415, next to the Housekeeping room. They had a compressor ( as we were told) that made extremely loud noise, and made the table vibrate. It started after 9 pm, and then again at midnight and a couple more times. We called the front desk, and I think they turned it off twice. But it started multiple times, woke everyone up.

- Veronica (10/5): Stay was very pleasant enjoyed the room for my family great staff. Loved having the kitchen available was perfect for th - The Location and very clean area was quiet and not super busy noise wise. Nothing to complain about with property if I had to nitpick could use minor updates with base boards shower upgrades furniture repairs from wear and tear. Only thing maybe breakfast use oatmeal packets instead of already made oatmeal, mixed berries, yogurt cups other than that your property was Great!!
- Adwana (5/5): Could have been a nice stay, but had that inconvenience without an apology or compensation to make things right. It was - Great location The hot water didn’t work the first night and early morning after our arrival. Kids couldn’t take a nice shower after a long day of Track and field meets. Had to boil water just to get warm water.

- Gracia (9/5): -
- Tim (8/5): - Very nice room, clean. We arrived @ 2:40 and the desk wouldn’t let us check in early and then proceeded to check people in 10 minutes later. Still a great room. We stay here again or maybe other locations.
- Matthew (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Liliana Jose (10/5): Cozy very roomy especially for a Family - Nice and clean perfect for a family .. Nothing
- Sharon (10/5): - Overall this Staybridge was a good selection as it is very convenient to dining, shopping, etc. The breakfast buffet was good. Staff was excellent.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Pro: thanks for having pet friendly options: the grass and bags around for them to use was very helpful.
Would stay here again if in the area.

- Erica (10/5): -
- Jason (10/5): - Check in was great. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Will stay again.
- Miguel (10/5): - Limpieza
- David (8/5): Will stay here again - Thermostat on wall wasn't sinking to ac unit. Staff resolved temp issue by manually updating temp on unit rather than wall. Other than not knowing about that problem initially, it was a great stay.
- Jocelyn (10/5): - Good breakfast selection. Friendly staff.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Anakaren (10/5): - Great customer service!
- Carrie (7/5): Except for the humidity problem in the room, the room met all of our needs. - It is conveniently located and had the number of beds we needed. There was no fan in the bathroom so when someone took a shower the whole room became humid and very uncomfortable.
- Amanda (8/5): - Comfortable hotel, good breakfast, very friendly staff. Need was comfortable although I wish the “firm” pillow was actually even remotely firm. The treadmill was in bad shape, I hope they get that fixed. Would still stay again.
- Sharon (8/5): - Staff was helpful, breakfast was pretty decent, beds comfortable. Bathtub needs to be refurbished. Spacious and good kitchen. Need ice bucket.
- DaJuan (5/5): It was ok ! Probably wouldn’t stay again - The location Rooms were a little dated. And smelled like mildew. Also tv didnt connect to the internet so we could not watched tv while in the room.
- Paul (10/5): - Room. King suite nice set up. Price
- Torres (6/5): Pleasant - The women in charge of the breakfast area announced it was closing at 9:30. When at check in the receptionist said 7:30- 10:30. Very un pleased.
- NIKI (2/5): - No smart TVs, no ice makers, the ice maker in the unit didn't work, the microwave started melting itself (almost causing a fire)..... The list goes on and on. Staff were not helpful at all
- Isela (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kendra (8/5): Very good - Clean, good room set up and lay out.
- Theresa (10/5): - Large suite, very clean, extra blankets in room. Breakfast spread was free and exceptional!
- Nereida (4/5): - Room was dirty mattress was not comfortable at all. Had springs digging in our back. Didn’t get my room cleaned, or clean towels at least. Had to call to get new ones and made me go to the counter to pick them up.
- Tate (10/5): - Hotel was clean, breakfast was amazing. Staff was very friendly.
- Hanan (10/5): - Beautiful and spacious and clean. Breakfast space is a little small, however breakfast is great.
- Thomas (10/5): - Nice and clean but we had no hot water!
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional -
- FrostyPals (2/5): BEWARE Bad Mgmt-Hotel Needs Attn. - Extremely disappointed with our stay, and manager, Anthony Aguilar, showed no concern for issues. We are IHG reward members, and stay frequently. This property is not Staybridge quality or worth price. At $400+ night (grad weekend) expect a great stay. We spent extra for the addl space, but not worth frustration.
Issues:
1) ants-it’s Texas and near summer. It’s a common issue BUT when front desk told about issue…they said there is nothing we can do until maybe the next day. I asked if they could at least spray or something so we didn’t get ants in our stuff (there were alot) and was handed a can of Raid to spray the rm myself. The hotel never followed up.
2) breaker tripped to lights in rm for no identifable reason, phone doesn’t wk and noone answered front desk from cell call, so downstairs at 7am to get help
3)SIL stepped on shard of glass on floor at edge of sofa and cut foot
4)poor repair-phone didn’t work, coffee maker damaged, yellow stains on mattress on hideaway bed
5)extra fee for addl adults in room (total of 5 ppl) and only 3 towel sets. Another trip to desk to get more since phone doesn’t work.
6)blood drops on elevator floor two day in a row…they obviously don’t mop/clean regularly
- Mohammad (10/5): - We got room which is good. But very cold and temp set to 68 deg. Carpet also cold. Hair dryer is not working. Otherwise overall great.
- Brandy (9/5): Superb - The food is very nice with a different option each morning and evening.
The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable.
The location is convenient to Hwy 6 and Texas A&M.
The 12:00pm checkout time is greatly appreciated! N/A
- AJ (10/5): - Good stay
- Sahrei (9/5): Superb -
- Amy (10/5): - the beds were very comfortable...the rooms were spacious....everything was clean....
the BEST hotel breakfast we've EVER had...checking in and out was very quick....staff was friendly, especially the weekday cook....she was amazing to talk to and super friendly....
- Paul (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was well-appointed with many tasty options. Also, the timeframe for weekend travelers was convenient (later ending time). The noon checkout time was greatly appreciated. The hotel was listed as pet friendly online, and it was;however, there was not a mention of the additional $75 required deposit. The grounds surrounding the hotel were attractive, but there was not much of a grassy area for pets.
- Nicole (10/5): Very Pleasantly Surprised by This Hotel! - My husband and I stayed here for the first time over the weekend visiting our two A&M students, and honestly, were very pleasantly surprised! My husband, who has done extensive business travel, did not have a great impression of Staybridge Suites, but we weren’t able to book at the places we usually stay…Calvary, A&M Hotel, Hyatt Place, and this Staybridge had availability at a reasonable rate. Again, we were pleasantly surprised!
The room and bathroom were spacious, and everything was in great order and clean!! The housekeeping crew does an exceptional job!! Definitely hats off to them!! And I’m picky!
The bed was comfortable…firm but not too much and had a comfortable mattress topper or something. The rooms look to me like they’ve been updated, because the furniture and decor is not nearly as dated as some of the lower priced properties in town. In fact it looks rather new and is in good condition. The little kitchen was very nice and although we didn’t use it for cooking, it was stocked for what we needed with a nice sized refrigerator.
The breakfast the first morning consisted of breakfast tacos, but my husband wasn’t excited about eating those, so we went to a restaurant nearby. The second morning we were there, they had a regular scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, various bread items, juice and coffee. We got to the breakfast not long before it closed, and there was still plenty of food and fresh scrambled eggs. Parking was easy. Will stay again!
- Anna (10/5): - Room was very clean. Desk staff were very pleasant.
- Arnetta (10/5): - Great property would stay over and over again!
- audrey (10/5): - Bed comfortable. Check in easy and front desk super nice. Breakfast area clean and tidy. Food was good
- Jim (6/5): - Beds were very uncomfortable. The sofabed was worn out and my son was unable to sleep on it.
- Lionel (4/5): No worth the money - The breakfast was terrible, biscuits with some nasty ass gravy , no bacon or sausage.
- Lacey (9/5): Overall, this hotel is in a great location & had a great price. The room was very comfortable and clean & peacef - The property size, location, & cleanliness was great for my family & I. Did not like how the wrestling team that was there at the same time of our stay was going around playing on the doors and how they were loud at times.
- Debra (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Kevin (4/5): Never again - Not a great stay. Room 312, the a/c heating system is was extremely loud and did not heat the room sufficiently. We were too tired to request another room.
- Erica (10/5): Exceptional - I like the location, staff is nice, place is nice and comfortable.
- Hernandez (1/5): Very expensive and worst place we have stayed...We check out earlier 😑 - Only the location -Beds hard as rock..
-Several light plugs don't work..
-Restroom light didn't work we had to shower this the cellphone light..
-No internet in the room
-Can't connect screen mirror from the phone since we could see nothing in Tv.
-My kids got spoiled walffle mixed
- Xiaojun (10/5): - Staff were very helpful and patient.
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donna (10/5): - All was good except the bed is pretty hard
- Perla (10/5): - Walk distance to dining and shopping
- Angela (8/5): Location - Didn’t eat breakfast. Location was great Staff at front desk
- Eduardo (6/5): - The electric cooktop did not work properly. This was one of the main reasons why I went for this type of place.
- Charlotte (2/5): - Room 421 has mold or something terrible in king room bathroom either in ceiling or walls. Smell was a health hazard.
- Blanca (10/5): - Close to shopping and easy access to highway. Shower faucet was broken.
- Lance (2/5): Horrible customer service with lost reservation - Upon arrival we were told we had no reservation on the books. Although we had confirmation & itinerary numbers, they claimed first we had no reservation, then incorrect dates & finally that our reservation had been cancelled. Originally said nothing they could do. After pushing to speak to management we finally were given a room at a sister hotel. We traveled with other families so this was very inconvenient and a waste of 1.5 hours of our time. With no protection against something like this happening again, we will never stay at StayBridge or book again through hotels.com. I was shocked at the lack of customer service & lack of attempt to make things right. What’s the point of making a reservation a month in advance only to show up & be told it doesn’t exist even with multiple email confirmations. UNACCEPTABLE & RIDICULOUS.
- Jay (8/5): - Good property overall. No complaints
- Verified traveler (8/5): College Station TX - We enjoyed our stay and always like staying at the Staybridge Suites facilities. Our observations this visit were that 1) the paint was chipping off the floor of the shower 2) water from the shower/shower door always made a big puddle on the floor, and the towel mat usually stayed soaking wet 3) room service was available only during the week, but we did not see this posted anywhere onsite, so we ended up calling the front desk.
Otherwise, we had a nice visit. The facility was quiet, clean, and convenient for our needs.
- Kelly (4/5): - The hallway smelled like dirty diapers and the room smelled like Indian food and sewage. I don’t have the best sniffer and it was pretty much unbearable. Could not sit out as windows don’t open.
- justins870 (2/5): Stay away - This hotel is next to a sewage treatment facility. It smells terrible. We reserved a room for 4 and were given a king suite that included a TWIN sleeper sofa. The front desk refused to bring additional sheets to cover the chaise lounge where my adult son was forced to sleep. One of the worst hotel experiences.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Very clean and convenient
- Julie (2/5): - Do not stay here!!! Horrible customer service!!! My husband had a health emergency and we weren’t able to keep our reservation and they still charged us almost $600! They do not care about you!!!!
- Marisela (10/5): - The staf was amazing, they let us check in one hour early since we had a especial event at 3:00 , thank you to the manager
- DayTrip122949 (2/5): NOT recommended - If you're considering booking this hotel on Hotels.com, don’t be misled by the '9.4' rating. This place is no better than other hotels and certainly not worth the price. Save your money and choose a different option.
The hotel feels outdated and has an unpleasant smell. The breakfast is below average. I highly do NOT recommend staying here.
- Cortney (2/5): - I called before booking to ensure I could check in early coming from out of town on a work trip. Was assured not an issue. Called the day of check in and was told no, cannot check in early now (by a very rude front desk agent). I had to get ready somewhere before meetings so was forced to book at another hotel that could actually provide a room. When I contacted Expedia to assist in canceling reservation, I relayed this info and asked for a refund, as none of this was my fault and I had confirmed early check in availability prior to booking. Expedia was absolutely no help and the hotel (of course) declined the refund. The hotel wouldn’t even cancel the reservation, saying they couldn’t because it was made through Expedia. Horrible customer service all around and will never stay at an IHG brand hotel or use Expedia again.
- Luke (8/5): Very good -
- Antonio (10/5): Exceptional - Every thing
- Michael (6/5): - Price gouging by hotel for a football game. Mattress was worn and uncomfortable. Cheap thin towels that look to be years old. Air conditioning units never seem to work. Room was humid and warm.
- Bernice (4/5): Disappointing - I liked the location in relation to restaurants The room had dirty walls and water leek in ceiling
- Bradford (8/5): Very good -
- James (3/5): I will never stay there or recommend this hotel to anyone. - Didn’t have breakfast The night staffs attitude and ability to want to resolve the situation. Also, needed only a few more minutes to check out as classes where running behind and was not able to accommodate so I missed the end of my class. Zero effort made!
- David (8/5): - Good location for campus and restaurants. Has gotten a little pricey, though, and can't manage to always have orange juice at breakfast buffet.
- johntO3073ON (2/5): Rotten walls and mold save yourself the trouble - Rotten walls and mold save yourself the trouble!
We booked five days and four nights in a two queen suite at College Station. I'm not one to write reviews but I'm writing this because I was shocked to find what appeared to be possibly black mold peeking out behind a soggy rotten wall at a Staybrigde suite. I went to the front desk because the bathroom would have this mildew / rotten smell when the shower was in use. Asthma runs in my family so naturally I asked if we could be moved. They said, all rooms were sold out but a note would be put in so we could be POSSIBLY moved tomorrow. They had a guy come in to clean and put caulking over it. But the drywall itself plus the surrounding area was still soft and wet, to the point where the paint was peeling and bubbling. I went the next day to see if there was a room available. No one at the front desk knew what I was talking about because to my surprise no note was logged. When speaking to the Manager Anthony, he told me it was just "Dry wall dust". I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I was offended. Anthony sent another maintenance guy upstairs. I showed him my concerns. He then asked..who fixed this. I would not have fixed it that way. He communicated that the area was rotten and would need to be removed. He made a call updating management of the current situation of what he observed. He told us we can't be in the room because of the bad smells. After the maintenance called ALL of a sudden another room was found. Anthony told us to pack up our belongings another room is being cleaned. We were waiting over a HOUR until I had to go back downstairs to see what was taking so long. This was the one day my family had planned to go on a family outing separate from Junior Olympics and now we're dealing with this mess of a room that wasn't ever safe for occupancy. We finally got moved to another room. As we were leaving, when checking out, Anthony didn't feel like our family needed any compensation for our inconvenience for having to stay in a room that leached smells of decay and mildew out of the bathroom into the bedroom with slimy paint trying and failing to hide black mold. Because apparently we booked so many rooms due to the Junior Olympics at a lower rate keep in mind it was only lower do to us booking a year in advance, he was not willing to compensate us anymore. He felt our compensation was him finding us another room to stay which you think would be the beginning to the compensation of staying in a "safe" health hazard. To anyone booking thinking that every other room is fine no,in the hallways there is not proper air conditioning so a majority of the establishment feels like you are walking in a sauna. We checked with our teammates and none of the bathrooms have proper ventilation to begin with so what's in our room is guaranteed to be in others. If you need a message from above telling you not to book, consider this a heavenly sign because who wants to pay good money for a hotel that doesn't value their customers'health and when asked for the common courtesy of compensation think that " nothing was wrong". With Staybridge being so close to Texas A&M. I thought this establishment would show more care for athletes health who choose to book at this establishment. Coaches please don't book block rooms here, read the reviews first. If you value good lung health before game day.
- Tysheena (10/5): - Great hotel
- Lourdes (10/5): - Clean place
- Cameshia (8/5): - Great space for my family!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Spacious room. Will definitely be back!
- Francis (10/5): Great Staff and nice place to stay ! - Very clean, great staff, breakfast was amazing
- Roy (8/5): - Good location. Getting a bit dated. Towels were worn out and front desk manager needs a happy pill.
- Michael (10/5): - I highly recommend this property if you’re staying in College Station. The hotel is clean, quiet and has all the amenities you need. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was great and the location was perfect. There are restaurants and shopping available right across the street if you needed anything. I would not hesitate to stay at this location again as it was a perfect choice. The breakfast was great too!
- Teddy (10/5): Exceptional! - Great! Exceptionally clean! Very comfortable! Quiet it’s our new go to hotel!
- Sharon (6/5): - I like the room set up. The staff when they were available were nice. The AC unit in the room was terrible. The hallway didn’t see to have any air conditioning at all. Aside from the coffee, breakfast was awful.
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivonne (10/5): Exceptional -
