Guest Reviews
- Vincenzo (10/5): Perfetto - Tutto ok
- Lorenzo (8/5): - My wife and I stayed for one night. The property’s inside is quite old, but it is close to Arcore’s train station and the price was very competitive.
- Our room was very clean, with just some minor issues (the light next to the bathroom’s mirror didn’t work, the shower support was loose)
- No Noise isolation in rooms
- I would’ve liked breakfast to end a bit later than 9:30 AM. We woke up late and couldn’t try it.
- the property’s staff has been very polite
- the online check in procedure is easy and fast
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I’ll consider choosing this property again for a future trip to Arcore.
- Roberto (10/5): - Qualità prezzo eccellente persone ospitali gentili ottimo posto
- Momchil (10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I particularly liked the dinner that was served. It included a three-course meal with wine. It was my first ever experience. My only regret is that I didn't have another chance to dine in their restaurant, as I spent most of my day in Milan. Would love to visit again some time in the future!
Personale molto disponibile e professionale.
- Cecile (10/5): - Séjour très agréable. Très bon rapport qualité prix.
- Patrick (10/5): - Séjour RAS
- luke (8/5): - Hotel is walking distance to the train station in a nice suburb of milan
- Andrew (10/5): - This is a lovely property. The room was comfortable and very clean.
- JEAN LOUIS (10/5): - ben gestita, curata, bellissimo parco, ottima
Parcheggio in giardino interno
- Mario (2/5): - Room and bed very small. I guess they keep these type of rooms just for web cheap booking to attract customers then once customer arrives they try to propose upgraded rooms at a higher price.
- 49RichardC (8/5): Friendly staff, lovely grounds - I was arriving very late at the hotel so had called ahead a few days in advance, the reception staff had been forewarned and waiting for me especially. The room was basic but nice, no air con which made one particular night hot. Breakfast was simple but fine. The restaurant attached was a nice place to eat/drink with good local food. Great wi-fi. Travel to the area a couple of times a year on business and will definitely return, good value for money.
- 228elenas (8/5): 2 nights in late October - We were there last weekend for Porsche Carrera Cup in Monza. room 211 just at the corner with the nice view to the church and bells. Nice internal park of the hotel, delicious food in the restraunt. The bells were tolling from 7.30 am till evening something like 10pm... so it was not a problem for us. Even our 6 year kid liked it.
- Richard (4/5): Just OK Hotel - Poor facilities in bedroom. Noise insulation both from inside hotel and exterior not acceptable. Hotel old fashioned and gloomy. Restaurant quite good.
- globaleuro (4/5): Lovely Arrival, Pitty about the rooms - When you enter the grounds of the hotel, your first reaction is Wow! That's nice. Even the reception are, although quaint and old-fashioned, has a lot of charme.
The story changes when you are up in the rooms. The bedding is old (the mattress probably had about fifteen years at least), the TV is small with Italian channels (I rarely saw a cathodic tube TV in hotels recently), the plugs were not the Schuco standards and an adapter was needed for Italian small plugs (have not seen that in ten years in Italy, where usually at least one EU standard Schuco plug is available). The sleep is good, despite the old bed, until the nearby bells start ringing (on the church).
Overall this would be a great hotel if an investment was made to renovate the rooms. Pitty for that.
- johnhO6907JI (8/5): Residence while attending Fiera in Milan - The hotel was booked for me as a group attending a big exhibition at Fiera Milan.
Arrived Sunday night so no restaurant available but found one locally.
The hotel is family owned and run. It was reputedly the second home of Enzo Ferrari and Arcore is Berlusconi's home town. It is rustic but cosy. The rooms are adequate and comfortable and clean but a little noisy from about 6 a.m. The restaurant is excellent with a decent choice of really good proper Italian food. Breakfast is continental and well supplied. It is next stop up from Monza and reachable by train from Bergamo (R14), 2 stops to Rho Fiera (S8/S11) but only one good connection per hour so timing is everything! S8 goes directly into Garibaldi Station and Milan centre. The staff at the hotel are lovely. If you don't want swankyMilan this does the business at a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend it.
- 637timothyp (10/5): Fantastic Hotel Near Monza - What an unbelievable family owned and operated hotel and restaurant near Monza. It has a charming environment and is really a hidden gem that we will surely come back to in the future. Much history here as well as it was essentially the second home to Enzo Ferrari and his team when they came to Monza. The walls of the restaurant rich in racing history.
- mauriceh822 (8/5): Full of Italian character - If you want a change from the usual bland 'chain' hotels, this has plenty of Italian character. That means it's a bit frayed round the edges - loose stair rods, old fashioned bedrooms - but that's part of the charm. This is backed up by clean rooms and really friendly and obliging staff and an excellent restaurant. If the weather is good - which it seems to be most of the time in the summer/early autumn - eating outside adds to the atmosphere and enjoyment of a limited but delicious menu. Parking is easy (although busy on Saturday night) and the location is perfect for the station or the Monza race track (15 minutes via the back entrance). The autostrada is about 15 mins in the other direction. The church bells right next door stop in the evening, which is very civilised and add to the pleasant small-town feeling. And it's not over-expensive and wifi is little hit and miss when busy but it's free. Really worth a visit - particularly if you enjoy motor racing and appreciate the posters and photos on the walls.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fun in the Sant'Eustorgio - We absolutley loved our stay at the hotel. The food was excellent aswas the service.
- Tatticorum (6/5): Good Location, Service and Food but....... - We stayed at this family-run hotel whilst racing at the Monza track. We arrived after the lunch service but the staff kindly arranged for a salad and glass of wine which was much appreciated. However good the service, food (outside eating was very pretty) and wine it cannot hide the fact that this is a very dated hotel. Our room was not good and we should have been moved but as we were at the circuit most of the day, we never really got time to sort it out. This hotel has some good photos of old racing drivers but not enough is made of its convenient position to the Monza Circuit. It should have been swamped with people wanting a hotel convenient to the circuit but the rooms were disappointing. The breakfast was good and the Breakfast Manager was excellent. Tables outside for breakfast would have been a good idea but seating outside was in the wrong place and not at all inviting. The front lawns would have been much better. Cleaners and evening waiter good. The owners should take a look at Hotel du France in Le Mans to see what can be done to exploit the motor racing scene.
- GRIMWADE1992 (2/5): Nice place but....... - I stayed here for 4 weeks and my 1st inpression of the place was good but further into my stay i did not enjoy it im glad that my conpany paid for my stay here as if i would of stayed i would of asked for a refund
1) the staff were rude towards me
2) i went to a ac milan football game so i did not arrive back at my hotel until maybe 12:30 1 oclock in the morning and the hotel was closed i had no access to
The hotel the gates were shut the lights were out not even a night porter was present so i was forced to find another hotel.
If i was told upon arrival that they shut the hotel at a certain time or even a secret way in i would of thought twice about going to the football game (which i should'nt as im the 1 on holiday!!!!!!!!!)
3) the breakfast was terrible 60 percent of the time i came down for breakfast there ants all over the pastry/cake
4) parking well what can i say the hotel must be popular with locals as every saturday/ sunday there would be a party which meant the parking spaces were taken it was a nightmare trying to park as you were forced to in the most tightest of places on the grass verge it was terrible!!!
5) the room i stayed in was big the bed was uncomfy, the tv was the size of a matchbox
Rant over i would not recommend this hotel my stay here was awful and if i brought my family here like i said i would ask for a refund!!!!!! -1 rating
- teri (10/5): It was perfect. - Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious.
- gdelsorbo (10/5): Fantastic hotel - A very good surprise. A fantastic and peaceful hotel. The hotel is well-equipped, you have everything you need, free internet, free TV-SAT (Mediaset premium), free parking, fridge. Well clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately I didn't try the restaurant, but I will next time.
- Nosowicz (6/5): A friendly hotel in Arcore - I have stayed here a number of times, whilst visiting friends and business's in the area, and it has always been one I would call friendly.
It is an ageing hotel, in the village of Arcore right next to the church, so the bell does sound on a regular basis, but it is easy to access.
The hotel rooms a slightly dated and not the most well furnished, compared to other hotels nowadays, but at a budget (?) price of only €60 a night it is functional.
Now as I have been here on business mainly, I have not eaten in the restaurant, as I have gone to other local places, but the continental style breakfast has been ok, although lacking choice (being an english traveller, we are used to more choice)
Overall this is an OK functional hotel with few frills, but I will be visiting there agin I am sure
