Guest Reviews
- christiane (8/5): - Tout était bien conforme ,seul bémol si on loue une chambre d’hôtel avec cuisine c’est que l’on veut prendre ses repas in situ alors une cafetière serait le minimum
- Collette (6/5): - Staff rude and unhelpful when asked about suggested things to do. Check-in time adhered to without checking if room available. Hallway carpet filthy. Room was large with well equipped kitchen. Walls scuffed bathroom door had multiple unidentified fluids on it. Bathroom ceiling stained and light not working due to water damage
- Enzo (8/5): - AC could have been better,, but hotel staff excellent at finding us a room with good AC. Also wasn't aware of no daily room turnover service. Staff very helpful, would stay again.
- Michael (10/5): - Great hotel and great staff no complications
- Deborah (10/5): Belle-epoque Beauty. Ask to book Block A - There's a distinct difference between A and B. Fortunately, having booked 2 rooms, my travelling companion got the 1st floor in Block A. Scrumptiously beautiful. I was given a ground floor in Block B. It was a one-night stay and great if you wish to sleep in. However you'll miss a great breakfast. I was shocked by how dark my room was, and for a second night, I would have needed to move. Utilitarian and basic. The breakfast room in Block A, is splendid, as is the selection for breakfast. Fresh juice. Fresh coffee.
- Alisa (6/5): - The room is completely different from the one that was on the picture and there was a hole on the sheet on the bed and there was a small cockroach in the bathroom
- Tracy (4/5): Uncomfortable and badly organised. - Uncomfortable , disorganised, rooms with electrics not working, smashed window, noisy area, homeless people outside.
Particularly hot and rooms only have fans but it is a very old building.
Breakfast very expensive for a poor offering. Limited choices unless you like bread and croissants which there were plenty .
- Wanda (8/5): - The property was close to all amenities. Train station across the street. Walking distance to the main shopping plaza area. Many lovely dining options.
- Beverley (4/5): - Very convenient location but this property has seen better days. The carpets in the hallways are dirty, stained and worn, the "laundry" is in a dank, untidy basement room, a bedside light was broken, the kitchenette lacked some basics like a dishcloth and both the dishwasher and refrigerator were smelly. It was okay for a few nights but cannot recommend for an extended stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location, sub optimal room. - This property is rated as 4 stars, however, I would say
5 star location
4 star lobby
3 star room
There was a bad odor in the bathroom which we disinfected to remove the smell, and the hot water in the shower was not consistent. The sofa cover was very old and worn and the safe in the room was broken. We overlooked these things because the location was perfect for us,just steps away from the train station, tram stops, and the historical centre.
- karen (10/5): Perfectly located - Lovely room with nice ensuite, lounge and small kitchen area. Ideal location, short walk to Comedie and old town, tram stops outside hotel and next to main station. Shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again when I. Montpellier
- Amber (10/5): - It was a great location. Very quiet
- Ana (8/5): Convenient and well-priced - The room was on the ground floor and had little light. I had expressed a concern about this at check-in which the staff disregarded. However, the location and services (kitchen) were very convenient. Some items in the room needed a touch up or repairs (bedside lamp)
- Carolyn (10/5): Un accueil chaleureux ! - I arrived at hotel and the lovely lady at the counter was very kind to let me leave my luggage while I explored the city. She was also very patient as I practiced my French! I’m here attending a language course and she made me feel welcome. I love Montpellier! I will recommend! ✨
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property was in a perfect location to get around. Train station accross the road and tram stop outside the door. Short walk to laundromat and comedy square. Room and bathroom both good size. Kitchenette and small table and chairs as well. All round good accomodation.
- Margaret (6/5): - My concern was bathroom safety. There was no rubber mat in the tub no any grab bars to hold onto. I slipped and fell while getting out of the tub . Luckily not hurt but I am sore . The lack of communication at the desk while checking out made it difficult to convey this concern.
- Stephen (8/5): - Amazing stay
- Alison (6/5): - Kettle didnt work although they did replace. No replacement of towels unless we paid for them. Accomodation was average.
- Daniel Patrick (10/5): - The staff were very professional, accommodating and helpful.
- Sarah (10/5): - Lovely building staff helpful
- Aaron (4/5): - OK hotel.
The good points
Great location. Nice courtyard.
The negatives
Check in wasn't particularly friendly, it felt like the staff were just going through the motions. Didn't let check in start till exactly 3pm, not a minute earlier.
Don't be fooled by the beautiful looking rooms on the website, whilst very spacious the room we had was very dull with little natural light.
The bathroom/toilet had a slide door which would only half close, then was difficult to open ; partner was almost locked in. The shower screen was around 2cm too short which meant floor got very wet when showering.
Door card had to be reset each day in the afternoon, which is either deliberate or just amateur.
- Cathy (10/5): - The location is great, easy walk to downtown and lots of restaurants near by. The room is very big. The only thing is my arriving date was May 1st, it's a holiday in France and no store is open. There's nothing to eat and no drinking water. I guess it just a reminder to everyone.
- Amanda (6/5): - Really good location and staff were friendly. However really tired decor and quite poor in communal areas. Ok for a quick trip.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great for a weekend stay - The staff was wonderful and allowed us to check-in early (b/c rooms were available), but they also let guests drop bags early. The location is great and very central - HOWEVER, it is literally adjacent to the tram stop. That's convenient, but our room was on the front of the building, just above the tram stop, and we heard the tram bells (arrival and departure) all night. It was hard to sleep.
If we were in rooms in a different part of the building, it would have been fine. It was great to have a little kitchenette and overall everything was great.
The only cleanliness issue was on the curtains which led out to the shared balcony. However, I understand those can't be cleaned all the time. There were a number of strange spots/stains on them, so the ones in our room did need cleaning, but we didn't touch them and the rest of the room was comfortable and clean. Also liked that there were additional pillows and duvets available in the closet (both of which we used).
- Daniel (10/5): - Clean, generous room with a good bed, large bathroom and a kitchen. Nice.
- Leonard (10/5): - Short 1 min walk from the train station and central to the city. Geat walkability.
- mark (10/5): - Beautiful property inside large common area patio. Always helpful and smiles by staff.
Our room was very clean and up to date decor.
I wanted to stay a few weeks after seeing room/property.
- Allison (10/5): - This was a great property! The room was so big and included a kitchen area with things like a microwave, stove and dishwasher, which were not amenities we were expecting! It is also a very short walk from one of the city's train stations as well as many of the tourist places! Highly recommend!
- Branden (8/5): - Everything was great, good location, literally right outside of the tram stop to make several different connections, walking distance to centre, staff were very nice, room was nice and big and clean... Only thing is the air conditioning system was very weak and couldn't cool the room properly. Everything else was great!
- Verified traveler (8/5): A fine stay with minor problems - Overall fine. The carpet had some stains, there was mold on the caulking in the bathroom and the room smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. To be fair, I didn’t bring up these issues during my stay. They do seem to be renovating. I think the price was good.
- ALFRED (10/5): - Room was awesome and quiet and close to train and parking staff was helpful
- Patricia (4/5): - This is NOT a hotel. These are apartments rented out by day. Our bed had bedbugs and they didn't believe us. They asked us to go to the pharmacy to get a diagnostic. Why would I lie about that when you could see my husband's arms and legs full of bites??
This stay ruined our Montpellier experience.
- Martha (8/5): - The hotel was housed in a lovely old building with lots of charm. The receptionist was very nice and accommodating. The bed was wonderful. The room was very quiet.
On the downside, the bathtub/shower is unsafe for people of any age but especially older people.
- Susan (4/5): - The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment.
The size is good but the carpets were shocking.
The curtains were torn, dishwasher not emptied and overall very disappointing and not worth what we paid.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel room was great, spacious, had a mini fridge, a microwave, and even a dishwasher. The room didnt provide daily linen/towels, but since my stay was only 3 nights, it didnt matter. They assisted with luggage storage and provided all information I needed. The hotel is only steps from the main train station and the tram is right outside the hotel main door.
- Verified traveler (2/5): HORRENDOUS HOTEL - The stay was horrendous, the hotel was horrendous, we had a room change because there was no hot water.tge 2nd room was slughtly better.
The room they changed us to the air condition was so poor, the air conditioning was on it was still 99.2 degrees in the room when it was full on.
So they came late at night to change to yet another room which was worse over 100 degrees with it full on.
They said tgat was normal.
There was no manager till Monday , there was no fans in the hotel.
So they said we will give you a free breakfast.
No cerael, the breakfast scrambled eggs were like cardboard and cold.
No toast they saud not possible.
Im not really fusdy as long as water and food are hit and air con is cold.
This hotel is defintely not suitable for anyone, dont book or be caught out by pretty pictures..Its a NO.
- Ginny (2/5): Room was very run down. Do not recommend! - We walked up to the room/apartment, walked in, looked around and decided to leave. The bathroom reeked of urine, there was a hole in the wall, the walls were dusty, I opened a cabinet and there was a bra from a previous guest inside!! The furniture was very worn down. We could tell this was not the type of place we wanted to stay so we gathered our luggage, left, and went across the street and booked a room at the Golden Tulip. To be fair, we didn’t even go to the front desk to complain and ask for our money back. We just wanted out of there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - IT WAS QUIET AND NEXT TO THE CITY CENTRE. PEOPLE WERE NICE AND HELPFUL
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location excellent. Bedroom and bathroom areas good. Kitchen area tiny - ok for making tea and coffee only. Only dining chairs to sit and relax on
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Close to the centre but the property was basic, not 4 stars and the room, although large was dark and a little depressing.
- Timothy (10/5): Montpellier stop - We did a stopover in Montpellier and glad we chose the Odalys. It is very close to the train station, but was difficult to find signage was not evident.
- Katrina (8/5): - We loved our stay in Montpellier. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with public transport at the front door. Hotel is secure and safe, with helpful staff, and has heaps of great restaurants in walking distance. The Place de Comedie is at the end of the street. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast which was a great option. Odalys was a perfect choice for our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, walking distance from the train station and downtown.
- Marian (10/5): Odalys for no less than five days - We most enjoyed the hospitality, the location so near the train station & to many site seeing, shopping, trams, just all that we needed to soak our days energy level.
- Verified traveler (8/5): World Cup in Montpellier! - Amazing location. Right next to the train station, all 4 trams, and the historic downtown. Could not have a more strategic location to visit the city.
Room was nice but spartan. Kids room smelled of smoke and all rooms are supposed to be N/S. AC struggled to keep up as it was a 90 degree temp week.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient location and clean and comfortable. Wifi was not working.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location across the street from the train station and within a few blocks of all the old town attractions and language schools. Staff were helpful and room was in good shape. WiFi was inexcusably bad, cutting out literally every 30 seconds, which caused me a great deal of stress having to stay up till 1:00am trying to book my next few days accommodation in France.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice, clean and well located , near metro station.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel is conveniently located near the Gare St. Roch and a 5-minute walk to Place de la Comedie with its many cafes and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Parking is a real problem as you have to park in the train station car park which is very expensive. In addition the drive up address is not the same as the hotel address and the drive up address is in the middle of a construction site. So driving to the hotel is difficult. The rooms are very nice and the property is very well located in Montpellier.
- Ole Petter (8/5): - Very nice location!
- Patrick (4/5): - first noizy room then a very dark room at ground floor
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The first room was with a lot of noise in front of a indoor square that everybody could see you room so you can’t open the curtains and the carpet was dirty. The second was a little better. The hotel is situated in a place where you can’t get by car, it is only to move in trolly car, there is no parking lot in the hotel and de street is horrible and dirty, but in 2 blocks you can get to the center of the city.
- Caroline (8/5): Great location - Great location. Room was a bit hot and WiFi kept disconnecting. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Steps away from train station( Gare de Roch) and tram.
Less than 5 min walk to center of town.
Cleaning could be a bit better, specially crockery, which was pretty dusty.
- Verified traveler (10/5): . - wi fi in room very weak otherwise nice hotel
- Kathryn (10/5): Spacious and comfortable. Great thankyou - Odaly’s Montpellier apartments were fantastic for us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. As they are apartments there was no daily cleaning which suited us but is available for a fee. The position was brilliant for getting into the old town or to the station. The staff were friendly. My only query was with equipment. We were unable to find cutlery. We didn’t cook so it wasn’t an issue but the apartment had all other utensils but this. Not sure why?
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property is advertised as 4 stars , while in reality it is not even a hotel and it does not deserve 2 stars. our expectations were wrongly set.
the shower was broken , they don't clean the room lie in a hotel.
Parking is very far away from the property and expensive.
in general my experience was very bad with this property
- Madeleine (8/5): The place to stay in Montpellier - A very convenient place to stay right near the railway station and town centre of fantastic Montpellier!
- Diane (10/5): Very nice apparthotel - Great staff, very nice welcome and reception area. Great room with kitchen facilities including coffee maker, kettle, microwave, stove top, fridge and pots and pans and cutlery. Very convenient for preparing food. Small table with 2 chairs for eating at. Carrefour city supermarket 200 yards down the road opposite the observatory tram stop..turn left out the hotel front door its set back from the tram stop on the left side. Hotel right in front of the Gare tram stop, very convenient for both trams and the main Saint-Roch train station.
Spacious clean bathroom with shower over the bath, plenty of nice towels. Good linens on the bed.
Very quiet outside courtyard with seating. There is a computer near reception for guest use. Also a vending machine for snacks.
Easy walking distance to the historic centre. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Montpellier.
- Ralph (10/5): Elegance in Montpellier - Visited Montpellier for a one night stay and chose this Hotel for proximity to the train station. We would highly recommend it. Close to everything and our hosts were very helpful and we were upgraded to an elegant suite. We have used booking.com in the past and will continue to use their service.
- Rachel (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff, available 24 hours.
Great location near the train station, within easy walking distance to trams, buses, and the city center. As my room was interior, I did not have any issues with noise.
The apartment-style setup meant that there was no daily housekeeping - housekeeping comes at an additional charge. However, this is not usually necessary and helps keep waste of water/product to a minimum.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Location & great value. - Good sized room , great bathroom. Very quiet. Can't believe no bottle opener/corkscrew was provided in the kitchen in a French hotel room! Kitchen facilities a tad basic- no cloth for drying dishes & only a dishwasher tablet provided , no liquid.
- Charles (2/5): - Room had terrible odor dark and dingy. Staff was not helpful at all. Area mixed god and seedy. Would never stay here ever.
- James (10/5): Great stay - Gorgeous hotel with lovely staff
- Jason (6/5): Central hotel but basic amenities - Central hotel, basic amenities.. Close to the main train station.
The rooms and decor are basic in comparison to other similar hotels.
- Etudienne (8/5): - Staff very helpful/cleaning service excellent/ big negative the laundry/ It is in a cellar scary/ I was there for 2 weeks
Attending a language school and it was great. People extremely kind and location is the best
- Wayne (6/5): Picasso made Montpellier memorable - Staff very helpful. Was disappointed to be placed in an obvious smoking room which detracted a little from an otherwise enjoyable stay. Really enjoyed the Picasso exhibition I was lucky enough to catch.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice hotel except its WiFi! - I arrived Gare de Montpellier Saint-Roch at midnight. This was the first time to come here, so I was really worried if I get lost. But this hotel is quite easy to find even you visit here for the first time at night.
The hotel looks old so I can't say it's clean. But the room has a nice kitchen, fridge and bathtub. That's very nice. The receptionists can speak English, so you don't have to be worried if you can't speak French.
The bad thing is its WiFi. It was so weak and automatically disconnected like every 30 minutes.
Overall, I really like the hotel. I might book this hotel again next time I visit Montpellier.
- Brian (6/5): Ok if you are just there for the train station - Not in a good location. Other than the train station is right next door. Lights did not work in the room and the shower head barely worked. Breakfast was ok
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Right in the middle of the city, opposite a nice little park and only 5 minutes from the main square. The addition of fridge and basic cooking facilities were also a bonus.
However it was the helpfulness of the staff that went above and beyond that really made this hotel. On the last day even after checking out, allowed us to use a room to freshen up before our flight.
Would thoroughly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Conveniently close to the main station and tram stops. Large apartment room with kitchen facilities. Clean and comfortable.
- Derek (8/5): So convenient for trains and trams - The train station is 50m and the tram station is right outside the hotel entrance.
We had room B303 which was a superior room and very comfortable. We were holed up for two days because of the unprecedented snow fall and the kitchenette became really useful. Supermarket is only 200m away and I was able to buy provisions to eat in the room.
- mich (8/5): one minute away from the rail station - Large room compared to any hotel in Montpellier
Very quiet if you get a room in the back
- Eileen (4/5): - Service staff is unfriendly but it is located very near to train station.
I am only there to stay overnight so it is fine.
- susan (2/5): Hot and noisy
- The room was Terri my hot
Rand the a.c. Was not working no air moving. The front Medicaid they eou!d look at it while we were out. On returning after dinner it was still not and they had left a
Window wide open. Our things could have been stolen as there was a catwalk outside the window. We went down to the front desk again and were told that the a.c. Was turned off for the whole hotel as it was october. This seems hard to believe as the ground floor was cool with the ac running
. We had to leave the window open all night and the street below is is where the cabbies park waiting for the next date ,so There was a lot of loud conversations going on. The next morning the construction crew for the new building next door started work at 6am. This was all while we had the window open so we could have som e air moving
This was a waste of money to say here. The staff was not at all accomoydating
- Derek (8/5): Very handy for train station - As advised, getting several bags from a car into the hotel and then finding a car park was a challenge. The new multi-storey carpark building behind the station proved most convenient but very expensive. To see the city of Montpellier you don't need a car, we returned ours very quickly. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. e will stay again if the opportunity arises.
- Cliffy (8/5): - Crockery cupboard too high to gain easy access, otherwise enjoyed the stay, handy to the station and tram lines.
- Kevin (10/5): Fantastic Property, Quality and Value - Fantastic property in a great location - particularly if you are utilising the trains.
Very modern property, large room, large bathroom and although described as a "double bed" it was actually a KING (or bigger possibly) - and as comfortable as have slept on all holiday.
Great property at a great price - highly recommendable as a base in Montpellier.
- Fred (10/5): - Great room & bathroom, excellent buffet, relatively easy walk from Orly. Wish we had known too follow redline and then beyond a bit.
- David (8/5): Great stately manor - We loved the proxcinity to the train station. Leticia at the reception was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very good.
- Ricardo (6/5): - Hotel very old entrance
- Robert (10/5): A Montpellier Marvel - One of the best. This newly renovated Aparthotel is one of the best I have encountered. The beautiful old building has been renovated to an exceptional standard - plush carpet, beautiful bed, large and very modern bathroom. A train traveller's delight, so close to the main station (but a driver's dilemma because the street does not register on GPS). Despite this I would give this hotel my highest recommendation.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Disappointed by the room compared to what was advertised.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Good location, service was poor. - We checked in easily and went to our room. On the second night a light blew and that shorted the fuse. No electricity. No technician available the flip the fuse breaker. We were moved to better room with a terrace the next day. It was quiet and comfortable but a few things could be improved upon. The reading lights didn't work. The bed was two twins pushed together. The pillows were uncomfortable. The table was too small for two people to use their laptops. The coffee maker made strange smelling coffee. At checkout they asked us to return to the room to put our wine bottles in a bag (which only then they provided), and to put the dishes in the dishwasher. We were in a hurry to catch the train but we went back and did it quickly, so as to just get out of there as quickly as possible. This was annoying. No other apart'hotel has this request, and this is the room cleaner's job who obviously was just too lazy to do their work properly. The front desk should not ask clients to clean up their room. This is unprofessional and arrogant. For these reasons, I can't recommend the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good but wifi connection is very bad, disconnected quite quite often
- Geoffrey (10/5): Looking forward to a return visit! - Great location, very handy for trams - all lines pass outside, also close to train station, main square, etc, with supermarket and bakery close by. Staff friendly, approachable and helpful. Wonderful city.
- A&V (8/5): Appart'hôtel Odalys Les Occitanes - A good 4* hotel in an excellent location for trams and trains. 5 minute walk to centre of Montpellier.
- John (10/5): Neat and tidy hotel close to the train station - Loved how close this hotel is to the train station. Only a few minutes walk. Comfortable room with a tiny but functional kitchen. Would stay here again.
- Glenn (10/5): Montpellier - I had an enjoyable stay. The hotel staff were helpful.
- Pettie (8/5): - good weather
- Anthony (8/5): Convienient, comfortable, a good place to stay. - We needed to catch an early train from Monpellier to Paris so the proximity to Monpellier station was really convenient. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spacious and very well presented. Of particular note was the very comfortable mattress, and huge bed. The kitchen had hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and filter coffee maker, so very good. You might struggle with a three course dinner, but for morning tea, breakfast, snacking etc. it was just fine. One slight quibble, the way the bed was in relation to the kitchen area meant that the blue illuminated timer on the microwave was glaring and prevented the room from being properly dark. Over all we were very pleased with our night at the Appart'hôtel Odalys Les Occitanes, and are very likely to use it again when travelling from 'Le Midi'
- Patricia (10/5): Great hotel, near station - What a great hotel. When I first saw the outside of it I thought that it did not look much good, but once you went through the wooden gate what a difference. There was a lovely courtyard it was like being in an oais, peaceful and tranquil,no noise from the outside. My room in the hotel was on the ground floor, very well laid out. There was a small kitchen area with table and chairs away from the sleeping area. The room was large and airy, very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable and convenient hotel close to centre - Clean, comfortable and convenient hotel located very close to station, tram stops and a short walk from the centre. Helpful staff. Only slight issue was finding it: the address is 20, Rue de la Republique, but that didn't seem to correspond to where it was, which was next to the Bar PMU.
- Chris (10/5): Great home, not hotel close to main train station - I would have given it 5 stars but one night to WiFi went down and wasn't restored to next morning. Also WiFi, must sign in a lot as it disconnects and a little slow so streaming is not possible unless you have a lot of patience. But don't let this stop you from staying here. Three food stores nearby to do a little cooking in full kitchen. I had one dinner and 2 breakfast in room. I traveled for 4 months continuous so home cook meal was refreshing
- Kathryn (10/5): Value for money in Montpellier - We have visited Montpellier many times before, always staying with friends, this was our first experience of staying in a hotel here and it worked out perfectly.
Great location with easy access to all public transport, very helpful reception staff plus the added bonus of discovering a huge sunny terrace outside our spacious, bright & clean room.
A super bolt hole for a visit to this beautiful city.
- James (8/5): Beautiful Montpellier - We had a relaxing stay in the beautiful city of Montpellier. The hotel is a five minute walk from the Place de Comedie, two minutes from the main Train station and next to all four lines of the superb, cheap and safe city tram system. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was a good size and the kitchenette was adequately equipped with the bonus of a dishwasher, when I return to Montpellier I will stay at the Odalys again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel, great location - The hotel is in a lovely old building which has been renovated and modernised. Our room was clean and very spacious, with a high ceiling and a lovely large window overlooking the street with palm trees and trams below. I was a little concerned that it would be noisy but it wasn't, we occasionally heard the ding from the trams, but that was quite nice. The double glazing meant the noise wasn't an issue.
The location is perfect, close to the Comedie, the old town and the station, the trams right outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a bakery next door so we bought pastries and made coffee in our room most mornings so can't comment on the hotel buffet.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone. For the price it is a great find!
- Julie (10/5): Lovely stay - Wonderful stay, staff were incedibly helpful
- Verified traveler (10/5): Modern hotel just opposite the railway station - I stayed for one night at the Odalys Les Occitaines and would definitely recommend it. It is right opposite the railway station and a few minutes' walk from La Place de la Comédie. The room was very modern and comfortable, and the small kitchen was extremely clean and well-equipped - it even had a small dishwasher. I had a room across the courtyard away from the main road which was fairly quiet. The staff were very helpful and I thought the hotel in general was very well-kept and good value for money.
