Guest Reviews
- Hamilton (4/5): It was okay.. I just see being a black man and enjoying his life can’talways be a good thing in others eyes. - Property is directly across from beach The lady who checked me in earlier later on in the night acted like I wasn’t suppose to be there and racially confronted me.

And room they don't clean until we request many times and get attitude like they give us favor. I stay 6 days some of the emergency otherwise i don't stay One night in this place.

- Jessica (9/5): Fun, relaxing and down to earth! - The please is literally steps from the beach! Very kid staff and friendly people who stay at motel. The amount of towels they don’t give enough.
- Victoria (6/5): -
- Thomas (6/5): Had a nice time but other visitors in other rooms were noisy, walls our thin. - There was know breakfast, sound view Know breakfast, not upto date, building needs work.

- Christopher (5/5): A place to crash for the night - Has a pool. The place itself is out of the way of everything and right across from the beach. Not well kept up. The areas grounds are a mess. Full of holes and a mess It must have probably 10 rooms being government funded just by seeing the same people in the same rooms all the time and basically living there.
Rooms are also being sold for $349 K
What does that tell you ?
- Jessica (9/5): -
- Bobby (7/5): -
- Lisa (1/5): Left - Very unhappy when I arrived. Didn’t seem safe did not stay.
- Carlos (8/5): -
- Eric (3/5): Dumpy from the outside but the room was alright. Weird drapes - It’s a dump. There are section 8 families living there. It was okay for one night and it was clean. Better than my previous stay . The location is great .
- Rafael (10/5): - It's a great hotel to stay in
- Robert (2/5): -
- Cathy (10/5): The staff gave us an upgraded room for no extra money because I wanted a room downstairs. - It’s near the beach and restaurants
- Charles (5/5): -
- Kerry (5/5): -
- Thes (1/5): - No hot water, dirty, sketchy.
- Lauren (1/5): - smelled like cigs, everything broken, pool dirty, umbrella broken, woudlnt give me a refund,
- Anne (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (4/5): - There was no breakfast. Trivago stated breakfast included and that was incorrect. Seemed to be a motel that people actually live in. The location is beautiful and does not fit the motel at all. Motel looks more like a homeless shelter.
- Stephann (2/5): Absolutely disappointing! - Did the hotel provide any breakfast? If they did, then I was not aware about that. Every morning I went to a bakery to buy my breakfast. The location was great, excellent since it is close to the beach. Maybe that is the only good thing about the hotel. Do not even talk about cleanliness. The service at the hotel requested extra money in order to send the housekeeper to clean the room. When your bath towels are dirty you have to buy new ones at the desk. When I arrived I found a filthy trash bucket in the bathroom. They promised to replace it but they never did. I had to buy a clean bucket at a dollar store. Not even the most basic standard about cleanliness was respected. I never seen anything like that in any previous hotel.
- Yusnel (7/5): -
- Michael (5/5): - Easy to access and check-in Heating unit was very loud
Had to pay $1.00 to get a small bag of ice
Toiletries (shampoo, soap) were subpar.
- Carlos (7/5): -
- Bailey (1/5): Wouldn’t even sleep there. I’d rather sleep in my car. - NOTHING. I did not even stay it was vile. It’s where dreams go to die. Full of homeless people and dirty as hell. Nastiest place I’ve ever laid eyes on. Immediately left. I’d rather die than stay there. My cousins said they know someone that was raped there and another that hung themselves. Great place to kill yourself.

- Shaunrick (5/5): Simple, tolerable. Great for a short stay - Location. Ease of check-in. Bed very comfy. Great for a quick overnight. Tasty food nearby. Non smoking room still smelled very smoky. Couldn’t adjust temperature in room
- Christopher (6/5): - Outdoor pool and beautiful each right across the street
Very quiet area. To many scrappy people that I believe live there full time being subsidized by the government.
In totally it’s just one of those places where you get what you pay for yet in a good location.
- Maldonado (10/5): -
- Jonathan (5/5): - It was close and cheap to where I needed to be. Room was alright, wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it. There was a main door and then another door that combined the room next to ours (can be unsafe) bathroom was ehhh I hate taking a shower and feeling the curtain stick to me …
- Campoverde (9/5): -
- Benites (8/5): Wonderfull - Everything Everything
- Stoehr (4/5): -
- Christopher (6/5): -
- Sean (10/5): -
- Janet (6/5): Better than expected - Perfect beach location with an adventure park
And restaurants. Hotel is very clean. However, there are many misspelled signs in lobby. People live in here year round and aren’t quiet ! Front of building looks ugly & old but room was big and clean. It’s a transient motel but we were fine
And would go
Again for easy beach access
- Paul (10/5): - Nice beach view
- Stefan (3/5): Needs major renovation… would never stay again - Location across from the beach is its only redeeming quality. Staff was OK. Sketchy motel. Gave me the impression it’s the kind of place you’d patron to participate in certain transactions of questionable legality. Dingy. Loud. Paper-thin walls. Room next to me played really loud music and they were smoking… could smell it in my room. Rooms in desperate need of renovation, bathroom especially. What’s crazy is how expensive a room is for a night, and then to consider the quality of the motel and ask yourself how can it be so rundown despite how much you pay. Apparently their profits go to keeping the lights on, not about making any improvements.
Note the motel’s parking lot doubles as a paid parking lot for the amusement park adjacent to the motel and it doesn’t close until midnight or so. As a result you get lots of loud, noisy, annoying people throughout the night keeping you awake. Some people think it’s ok to play extremely loud music from their cars and just hang out in the parking lot, depriving you of any attempt at sleep. Management does nothing, even when asked.
I would never stay here again. Did not feel safe. Did not feel clean. Did not sleep but a few hours due to how loud it is.
- Gayr (10/5): - This place is absolutely fantastic! Not only were they affordable, but they were also able to accommodate my entire family of six comfortably! The best thing of all, is that it's also right across the street from the beach! My family and I are already talking about plans of coming back next year to vacation.
- Newell A Augur (6/5): - affordable Price and friendly proprietor. motel has probably seen better days (now allowing month long stays). near the beach but not much of a view
- Michael (8/5): - The sheets were used before me. Smelled like an old lady... lol... if you are into that.
- Reginald (7/5): I’m always welcome by the staff there. - It was clean. I was home.
- Alan (4/5): - This is a cheap and dirty motel.
- Grant (9/5): Great time -
- Ivan (6/5): - Nice location, bed was comfy, room was clean. Ac was very weak so it was still hot with it on. There was what Iooked like fruit flies in the bathroom. Otherwise was pretty fair for the price.
- Thomas (4/5): - I was not notified at booking that there was a movie shoot for two days on the property. No parking was available.and it was noisy from 6 am until 7pm.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Hidden place - It’s not what you expected but you want peace and quiet near all for kids and family returning again. Thx
- Ann (6/5): - Ok, place exterior is run down. The rooms were adequate. Best of all is the location.
- Chanel (10/5): - I’ve stayed here several times, and will stay several more. Friendly staff, good food/ bev options, extended stay options are great, etc..
- EMILY ANNE SAMPSON (2/5): Online photos deceptive - The pictures are incredibly deceptive. We thought this was going to be a cute retro motel with recent updates. We arrived and there was debris and trash in the front. Tried to give it a chance and still checked in. Clearly out dated and run down. Got to the room and the walls were dirty, everything felt unclean. There was a couple fighting next door. We decided we could not stay there as it felt unsafe. We told the clerk we felt unsafe and decided to go home. She was kind and told us it was safe and did offer another room but it was clear to us that was not the issue. There is no way we would have actually slept. We ended up driving home (tons of traffic, totally exhausting) and cutting our trip short. When hotels.com called to get us a refund, the hotel refused. Do not book. I’ve stayed in plenty of cheap hotels and have never felt like I had to leave.
- Mallory (8/5): - Great staff. The area is fantastic with restaurants, shops and an amusement park. Very average place to stay in a great area. It was clean and safe, which is all we needed
- Thomas (10/5): - Friendly and accommodating Staff
- Dawn (10/5): -
- Melanie (2/5): No, No, No...find somewhere ELSE - From check in until check out, I was nervous about the other "guests". Welfare/ homeless housing???? No coffee available in rooms OR office until after 8am. Ceilings falling in bathroom AND soap/ shampoo provided was less than desirable. Had 2 elderly women sitting outside rooms with many luggage bags from 4pm OVERNIGHT. I left at 745am, they were still there. Staffing argued with them multiple times and it was LOUD. Photos wouldn't load.
- Marimarcia (5/5): -
- Ruffin (6/5): - Close to the beach The doors very tuff to enter
- Kathy (2/5): Never Again! - The sheets and towels were clean. The bathroom floor was slick and the plumbing was LOUD! They provided a box fan to help the A/C that didn’t work even though it was set at 62! The family room had a small kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave.
- Thomas (8/5): - convience
- Thomas (8/5): - convivence
- Kimberly (1/5): Place wasn’t not very nice the staff was mean and nasty no customer service at all - Nothing Nothing
- Caroline (6/5): - This property had a lot of potential but ended up feeling more like an early season Schitt’s Creek motel than the listing suggested. The room was not as advertised, and the floor slanted noticeably. The shower pressure was so forceful it sprayed everywhere, and the curtain couldn’t contain it. To make matters worse, the water drained slowly. The window AC unit didn’t work, leaving the room uncomfortable, and the EV chargers were also out of order.
Overall, it was a frustrating stay. With some attention to maintenance and honesty in advertising, this place could improve, but as it stands, we would not return.
- Brendan (10/5): - Beautiful view of the ocean
- Tanja (3/5): -
- Ali (8/5): - The property was at nice location Cleaning needs to be done properly
Ungeziefer.
Zu teuer dafür.
- Crystal (5/5): -
- Hesham (2/5): - Very remote location if you are going there for the proclaimed Beach Access, know it’s not a beach for the hotel guests, it’s a private beach for the Oyster Bay residents and you will just sleekly walk into the sandy dunes to just sit next to the life guards! The hotel needs tons of repairs and maintenance no service was provided to my room! For the entire 7 days stay stay and rooms has no coffee machine, plenty or ants and crawling creatures roamed around.
- Christiane Wallis (6/5): -
- Taramattie (4/5): - It’s hot the ac not working the tv not working
- Maria (10/5): secret gem of the North Shore - such a wonderful place to stay! it's nice and quiet at night, and the bed was so comfortable. i wish i could have stayed longer!
- Tanya (10/5): - Bathroom means a lot to me. Big and clean. Sheets and pillows felt good. Very nice pool area. Check in had a lot of things to buy if you needed anything in an emergency situation. Not fancy but good!
- Khalid (8/5): - Good price and facilities, room window and door condition need improvement.
- Richard (6/5): -
- Alexa Juliana (8/5): - Everything good
- balwinder (2/5): - Reception lady is a not good extra charge and always dirty room
- Marcus (10/5): - I love ❤️
- kaczmarek (8/5): -
- Nicole (7/5): -
- Rachel (6/5): One and done - We stayed here the night before swim across America in Glen Cove. Although check in person was very pleasant the check in office was a bit off putting with plexiglass covering all but a small opening and covered in papers. The room on the second floor was clean but desperately needed updating. There was a large patch on the bathroom door as if someone had punched it. We were very put off by the man in a room we passed with his door wide open in his underwear on his bed. Very odd. There was an overall feeling of needing to keep our door locked and blocked. Not sure if this a long stay other type of motel but the pictures of this motel were not accurate.
- Barbara (8/5): - Nice location. Hotel is very clean but needs to be updated
- Gwen (8/5): - This is one of the quietest places I have ever stayed. The room was very clean. This is a retro kind of motel- with funky charm. We would stay here again.
