Please note the hotel does not clean rooms during weekend, and therefore guests have to request towels and toilet paper at the reception. For stays over several days our cleaning team will change towels, empty the garbage and refill toilet paper every four days. Marianne Log (10/5): Fantastisk beliggende hotell og bygd slik at det er tilrettelagt for god utsikt fra rommene. - Praktisk beliggenhet for min reiserute, god mat, en helt fantastisk utsikt utover byen og til solnedgangen (9.etasje), samt deilig plassering av seng rett under vinduet!! DG (9/5): If you can, get top floor apt #923. As long as you don’t mind the closed windows, it’s insanely great. - We had booked the largest(?) apartment on the topfloor (#923). It has a magnificent view of Hammerfest harbour, which is THE reason to get that apt — and absolutely worth your money. The (open) kitchen wasn’t fancy but it’ll suit basic cooking (2 IR-burners, microwave, and reasonable air extractor, but no oven or dishwasher) for 2-4 people. But for 4 adults, we’d say, the apt is too small — it actually has only two chairs (plus a much lower couch). No noise from other rooms whatsoever. We felt the two beds were excellent. Bathroom is pretty large (some 9-10 m2) and has a toilet for disabled people. Of course the hotel also has an elevator. We very much liked the VERY friendly staff — every one of the, I think, five of them we met. They quickly fixed several minor quirks we ran into and explained where to park relatively cheap (which is difficult in Hammerfest). We also liked the FREE availability of both washing machines and dryers. Breakfast was included but we preferred to have our own it in the apartment. Finally the hotel has a +simple+ daily diner-menu, which we didn’t try, but which seemed quite OK (its orginal+separate full restaurant OLLU was closed at the time of our winter visit). If you fancy a +relatively+ fancy dinner (there are NO truly stylish fine-dining restaurants in Hfest) go to Sakaya. They have seriously excellent sushi, which we had, and many other Asian specialties, which we didn’t try. The biggest drawback (of probably ALL rooms in the hotel) was that the windows could hardly be opened — only some 5cm ajar on the upper side. It’s may well be due to building regulations which the hotel isn’t responsible for at all. But still it’s utterly nuts. (If someone wants to jump out of a window - let them. Punishing everyone else by keeping windows basically closed is beyond ridiculous.) Another stupid issue is that the bathroom door is a sliding one, hence it doesn’t close properly like your average toilet door. If you don’t care about +100%+ privacy you’re fine, but I really think the hotel should improve that door. And finally, the lighting of the apt was close to abyssmal unpleasant and non-cosy. Come on, SmartHotel, get rid of those horrible ceiling lights. Simply get a couple of ultracheap IKEA-lamps and the whole apt will improve to the max.

William (10/5): Er egentlig veldig fornøyd med oppholdet, også er ikke dette noe selve personalt kan noe for :), det ligger nok mer hos - Frokosten er utmerket! Det samme er rommene! Veldig skittent gulv til gulv teppe på rommet mitt, også var det noe gjenglemt barberblad i dusjen på rommet.

Daniel (10/5): Schönes Hotel mit top Aussicht - Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Küchenzeile und Blick auch den Hafen. Einfach genial. Frühstück war reichhaltig. Leider keine Parkplätze. Kirkeparken Parkeringshus ist zu empfehlen.

Olimme oikein tyytyväisiä sekä matkaan että hotelliin. Lomalaiselle olisi mukavaa, jos aamiaista saisi pidempään (Aamiaisaika päättyi klo 9.30.)

Henna (8/5): - Aamiainen, pekoni ja munakokkeli olivat todella hyviä. Rauhallinen ja tunnelmallinen hotelli. Sijainti päärautatieaseman vieressä todella näppärä! Sänky oli kova nukkua ja äänet kantautuivat selkeästi huoneeseen.

Milosz (7/5): Moja opinia o tym pobycie. - Lokalizscja hotelu byla swietna. Dostalem pokoj na 9 pietrze, widok z okna byl fantastyczny. Posciel czysta, obsluga na recepcji i osob sprzatajacych bardzo mila i pomocna. Czajnik i lodowka w pokoju to dzis standart, dawno nie widzialem aby bylo inaczej. Ostatecznie czajnik dostalem ale to chyba byla inicjatywa milej pani sprzatajacej. Mydlo dolewane w podajniku, widac bylo w nim "coś"... Śniadanie ubogie - tylko fasolka, klopsy, bekon, jajecznica. Nawet owsianki nie bylo na cieplo, ryby...pytalem sie innych gosci, codziennie jest to samo. Nie wyobrazam sobie jesc codziennie jajka czy jajecznice na sniadanie bo niema nic innego na cieplo. Obok sa wynajmowane apartamenty za niższa cenę, jesli cos sie z tym nie zrobi to hotel straci klientow.

TV2 måtte loggast på ?!? Fekk ikkje sett det. Og så var det innsjekkingen på nett??? Måtte sjekke inn med bank ID. Der forlangte de fingeravtrykk. Kvifor? Er dette lov? Veit ikkje om det var banken eller hotellet som forlangte det. Det kunne ikkje resepsjonisten svare på. Dette ønsker eg svar på!!! TVen og innsjekking med fingeravtrykk.

Vincent (10/5): Modern wonderful stay in downtown Hammerfest. - A modern high tech hotel for Gen Z generation , located at the dock/pier right beside the bay in downtown Hammerfest..The facility is well built, run, maintained by a young crew. Check in and out are automatic without human interaction, however, staffs are standby to help any questions The hotel is in downtown, in walking distances to shopping and entertainment quarters. A breakfast can be reserved in advance .Free coffee and tea in the checkin area.Staff can provide microwave to heat meals. Various snacks are on sale as well. A highly recommended stay in Hammerfest. None

Muista huoneista ei kuulunut ääniä meidän huoneeseemme, ulkoa kuului satunnaisesti autojen tai lentokoneiden ääntä, mutta ei häirinnyt unia. Aamupalan valikoima voisi olla hieman suurempi, mutta kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi.

Beat (8/5): - The hotel is modern and stylish, with a fully digital check-in and check-out process — interaction with staff is minimal, which may suit some travelers. However, the rooms are quite small, including the bed, which was also rather firm. There is no dedicated parking; guests must rely on public street parking nearby. The staff came across as somewhat reserved, which might reflect the local (Norwegian) style. On a positive note, the breakfast was good. Overall, a decent stay with a few compromises.
